We hired the man from Matt Everett Custom Homes LLC. He performed the job and we have paid him in advance as he asked us. Now this man continued to call us and said that he didn’t get the proper payment. He wanted more, but we didn’t sign any contract, so we have no proofs. Guys, be very careful and sign the contract with him. This guy is very dishonest.

My advice to you is to STAY, STAY and I MEAN STAY away from Matthew Todd Everett A/K/A Everett Custom Homes. Matt used to have a web-page advertising as Everett Custom Homes but apparently he took down his web-site down in late 2017 or early 2018.
Matthew Todd Everett A/K/A Everett Custom Homes l is one of the most dishonest and unethical individuals I have ever met in my entire life. Matt is a white male currently 48 years old, about 6 feet 1 inch tall. The last time I saw Matthew Todd Everett in December 2016 he was weighing about 200-220 pounds.
Matthew Todd Everett A/K/A Everett Custom Homes has been posing for years as a legitimate home-builder in North Texas but in view of the numerous complaints and lawsuits that has been filed against him, Matthew Todd Everett A/K/A Matt Everett Custom Homes A/K/A Everett Custom Homes is not a legitimate home builder but was and is an unequivocal fraud, fake, phony and a scam artist.

Matthew Todd Everett A/K/A Everett Custom Homes has been operating for years in Denton, Dallas, Collin and Rockwall counties where he has developed a disgusting reputation of engaging in gross negligence in the construction of homes. In addition, to his poor reputation as a home-builder what is most disgusting thing about this individual is that he has engaged in a repeated pattern of not paying the suppliers or sub-contractors who worked on the home-owner’s home. Matthew Todd Everett would then keep the monies of the home-owners who had paid him to pay the supplier and/or sub-contractor thereby profiting and enriching himself to the financial detriment of the home-owner, the supplier and sub-contractor.
I hired Matthew Todd Everett in September 2015 to serve as my home-builder and fired him in December 2016 when it became obvious to me that he had not paid several of the sub-contractors and/or suppliers that had worked on my house even though he had received interim construction loan monies to pay these individuals. Additionally, Matt's knowledge and ability as a home-builder is quite simply poor. When Matt worked on my house he literally failed every inspection that was done on my house by City Inspectors. Matt's knowledge as a home-builder is simply disgraceful. Matt is also a pathetic and habitual liar. Matthew Todd Everett will lie at a moments notice to try to cover-up his dishonest behavior.
Whenever, Matthew Todd Everett A/K/A was sued for not paying a supplier or sub-contractor or for engaging in acts of gross negligence in the construction of homes he who would never respond to legal pleadings or appear for scheduled Court appearances. See: Julia Shapovalova vs. Everett Custom Homes, Cause No. 31-SC-16-00345, In the Justice Court Precinct 3, Place 1 Collin County, Texas (A Default Judgment was entered against Matt Everett Custom Homes for $ 8100, $ 336 for costs and $ 500 for Attorney Fees for a total amount of $ 8936). Jose Miguel Gerardo D/B/A J and B Stucco vs. Everett Custom Homes LLC. D/B/A as Matt Everett Custom Homes, Cause Number DC-1052, 16th Judicial District, Dallas County, Texas. (A Default Judgment was entered against Matthew Todd Everett for $ 26, 368 in actual monetary damages and $ 2500 for Attorney fees on April 13, 2016). JG Landscapes LLC vs. Matthew Everett, Cause Number [protected] Rockwall County Civil Docket, Texas; Default Judgment issued May 25, 2017; (Abstract Judgment $ 3, 380.05, Attorney Fees $ 2545.39 and Court Costs $ 420 on November 17, 2017);
Just like in all the previously cited cases against Matthew Todd Everett A/K/A Everett Custom Homes I also initiated legal action against Matt Everett in arbitration and later in the State of Texas Denton County District Courts. Matt never responded to any of my legal pleadings filed against him. As a result of Matt's failure to respond to the legal actions I filed against him, I received a Default Judgment against him.
Also, if you have the time please go to the Rockwall, Dallas, Collin and Denton County Courthouses and request to review lawsuits filed against Matthew Todd Everett.
Save yourself a lot of head-ache and heart-ache and STAY away from Matthew Todd Everett. This individual as I have stated Matthew Everett is one of the most dishonest individuals I have ever met in my entire life.

Matt Everett and his company Matt Everett custom homes are DISHONEST HORRIBLE BUILDER! Beware and stay away! I paid to Matt $7, 500.00 for plumbing...then plumber called me a month later treating to put lien on my house ...because I never paid him! So Matt never paid money to plumber! And so he kept my money for other projects and never paid framers! Then frames emailed me and called non stop treating to take me court! Had to fire Natt everett completely and taking his guy to court soon!

As well for me, if you could, do you have a contact with the plumber, or a framer. Because I also came upon the same situation. I worked for him, and he is still having to pay me.
