Matt Chandler-The Village Church / Ministerial Disqualification/Prejudice
Matt Chandler who is the "lead pastor" of the Village Church which is a Southern Baptist church in the Dallas-Fort Worth Metroplex area is to be considered ministerially disqualified when it comes to certain things:
1. Disqualification when it comes to addressing interracial issues and so is his Caucasian partner Lauren Chandler as well. The fact that Matt Chandler is with someone of his own race completely and totally disqualifies him from addressing interracial issues because he does not have the experiential knowledge based upon life experience when it comes to sufficiently addressing these issues because he is not with someone who belongs to an opposite racial background.
It is to be noted as well that the eldership board of the church seemingly chose also someone based upon a Caucasian racial background to be the main leader of the church and therefore is against the choosing of someone who is of another racial background to be the main leader of the church (such as an African-American person).
2. Disqualification when it comes to church membership domination. No leader has any right to control or dominate members in a church if such individuals desire to leave.
The major disqualification is the one above and as such Matt Chandler must remain disqualified especially in regards to this issue and so must his Caucasian partner Lauren Chandler also as well.
