My profile was hacked into on June 3rd and the hacker posted at the end of my profile something inappropriate. My password was strong and not related to me, I never accessed the site on a public computer and I have no idea how this happened. I contacted Match.com customer service and all they said is to change my password and that it "did not look like my profile was compromised". How does this happen? They supposedly screen everything that is entered in your profile. They need to employ better screening processes. Has this happened to anyone else? Maybe their data base was hacked into.

Additional information to my account got hacked within 24 hours. Please note that the email informing me that my account was updated states my new username is "Lovely" and my birthday is October 10, 1986 (I am 46 years old not 31) . I am seriously concerned that the hacker is using my photo with the fake account information and responding to the guys that sent me emails/winks. Match has not responded to my email yet. I am waiting for a response.

My Account got hacked too. I joined Match on Thursday evening (9/28/17) and paid for 12 months and in less than 24 hours I received an email that my password was reset. A little while later I received another email that my profile was updated . I couldn't access my account to see what changed because I was locked out. I sent an email to customer service informing them my account got hacked. I contacted my credit card company to cancel the charge and it turns out Match issued me back a full refund already. I'm grateful for the full refund. They definitely have a problem and it's costing them business.

My account was hucked yesterday... all the sudden, my profile picture was changed to Caucasian woman and she put 4other picture. She changed some of my infomation and subscribed and I see my PayPal charge 4 times... I called match.com customer support but it was closed and called PayPal And they prevented thier charged.. I called match support service but they don't believe what I said and they refund only 2 charges but 2others are not refundable... hacker ruined my account and no longer working as dating site so I asked them to refund the membership but they can't because of policy... they have no sympathy and yelled at me... thier support service is terrible.. I have never had this frustrating experience before! Never use Match and no recommended! Support are so dumb...

Match.com was hacked and my profile was compromised. I just spoke with match.com customer service and they either have hired the dumbest human being on earth or the have instructed him to play dumb as a CYA. First, the ### told me that my profile was compromised because someone sent me an email from outside the service, which I had to remind him that match.com is a members only service and the email I received was from another member, ... hello?... why else would I be calling? Then he told me that they have a warning in their user guide not to click on links, and I clicked on a link that sent spam to my contacts, the implication being that I caused this upon myself. I reminded him that his email service is proprietary and that is the purpose of purchasing a subscription as opposed to using Craigslist! So, I guess their stand is it's not their fault they were hacked it was mine!

I haven't had mine hacked, but I have seen the profile of other people that have obviously been hacked. The comments that are being left sound like the work of a teenager (or someone with that level of maturity). I'm watching my profile carefully, but considering shutting it down altogether if the Match folks are not going to take these situations seriously and look into them.
