Our Mata Rocks Resort Ambergris Caye reservation began Saturday Sept. 3, and was to end Sunday Sept 11. On Sunday Sept 4 my husband and I were in the San Pedro emergency room, as I was being casted for a broken left patellar (knee cap) sustained on the "black ice" of the concrete surrounding the resort pool. No horseplay, running, etc. of any kind was involved.

Post two requests to Mata Rocks for liability insurance company information, GM Terry Anderson sent contact information for agent Eldon Logan at RF&G Ins. Co. with whom I could place a liability claim. After two weeks, agent Logan responded, saying his company holds no policy for Mata Rocks.

I currently am pursuing correct insurance information from MR-- 4 requests at this writing -- and have not received a response.

In a previous email to MR, I stated Im not interested in filing suit for a "retirement package, " but am simply requesting reimbursment for out of pocket medical expenses, as the injury not only occurred on hotel property but also required orthopedic surgery and physical therapy.

1) The last paragraph of my complaint reads " In a previous email to MR, I stated Im not interested in filing suit for a "retirement package, " but am simply requesting reimbursment for out of pocket medical expenses..."
2) Liability insurance is required even in Belize
3) I've never lied to my customers
4) Know the whole story before you pass judgement

this sounds like you are blaming them for...? you should probably take responsibility for yourself and stop looking for a free ride.
