Masons Furniture / Do not stand behind their products

1 Canada Review updated:

Bought at Masons furniture store in cloverdale surrey BC a month or so ago... We complained to the store about a mark on the top of the chair the leather seems to have been damaged, the piping which should go over the frame is offset, which we think has caused the damage to the edge of the chair... The store informs us that if a technician comes out it will cost us $65.00, otherwise my husband should bring it in to the store, he has asthma so that is impossible for us to do... We have a sectional on order which should arrive this month we are now dubious about accepting it if lazy boy does not stand behind there product.

We have purchased furniture from Masons and have felt they do not stand by their products they sale. We have had issues twice from furniture we have bought. First furniture piping all broke through the stitching they wanted nothing to do with it. Secondly we purchase very expensive leather furniture and the lever for the recliner was so sharp it cut through the leather cushions which we have had to get repaired by an upholstery shop. The stuffing in the back of the chairs all had to be restuffed becasue there was not enough and the cushions all sat crooked. The leather still has seams where it was folded and have never flattened out. This was custom made furniture. Once you have paid for your purchases, it seems your satisfaction is not important. The deal is done. Never will we deal with Jim or his family again.
