This was my first time trying Mary's Gone Crackers and when I bit into my third cracker on December 24th, 2022 I cracked tooth #4 and had to go to my dentist the following week and it was determined I needed an extraction, implant, and crown to fix the damage. I've tried contacting the company asking for an address to send my documentation of the dental procedure required after biting into your product. No one has been able to give me an address or further instructions. I spoke with someone in the corporate office and told I would get a call back. I left a voicemail for customer service at 10:37AM on 4/27/23 and still have not heard back.

I am a long time Mary's Gone Crackers consumer. I've been through packaging changes and additions to the product line; from it initially only being available in health food stores to now on the shelves in mainstream groceries.

I'm reaching out because I had an unusual experience this week. When I was eating an Original cracker, I must have hit/bit right on a seed. It cracked one of my crowns (just a little over a year old). Nothing like this has ever happened to me before. The crown needs to be replaced.

I purchased some "Mary's Gone Crackers" crackers and ate some yesterday, June 12th 2019, and chipped a molar on the back right side of my mouth.

These crackers are very hard to begin with but then the seeds are very small, super hard and pointy.

I have since found out that this happened to many people.
This is unsafe and can lead to pain and expensive dental repairs.

I believe the only resolution in my case is that the company pays for my dental repairs.

As for as the future, this company needs to be notified and either pull their product off the market or modify it so this can be avoided.

Many people have already experienced broken teeth, something must be done to prevent anymore people from going through the same nightmare.

Today, Thanksgiving Day, 2016 I broke a second tooth on these crackers. The first time was two years ago when I broke a crown with the crackers. I had the crown for almost 20 years. I thought that perhaps the reason was maybe there was a microscopic crack already in the crown or something. Today, I felt that same horrifying feeling of hitting something rock hard with another tooth. Then I was horrified to find that the tooth was broken. And it is a regular tooth. I am totally done with Mary's Gone Crackers. I thought it was a great product because it is gluten free and organic, but I sooooo wish that I had never bought this. Then I would still have my teeth in tact. Please be VERY careful of this product. I am going to complain about this to Costco where I always buy the product. They really need to get it off the shelf. I will be posting a warning on Facebook, urging people not to buy this product.

I purchased Mary's Gone Crackers at the Seattle [original] Costco.

The crackers tasted great, however, the crackers and the seeds indented several spots on a lower front tooth. Additionally, the product pealed back the enamel of that tooth. Secondly, a top tooth was broken.

Having visited my dentist, I learned the cost to repair both teeth exceeds $700.

Initially I contacted Costco Customer Service, who forwarded my situation to Costco Complaint Department. According to the Complaint Department, Mary's Gone Crackers would be in touch with me within the week.

I have followed through each week with Costco Complaint representative for over 3 weeks without a single response from MGCs.
