Mary Kay Scam, Fraud, and Theft

Tracy Grodsky-Dunn lied to me and ended up stealing money from me. I also know that she is committing tax fraud and not reporting the money she has hidden from the other people she stole from. Apparently, she has stolen money from others as well. Her business is a scam.

I ordered Mary Kay Cream Lipstick Apricot on May 26 2016 and paid 20.00 for a 15.00 lipstick to be mailed to me.
Today is June 21 2016 and I still do not have the lipstick
I found out that the dealer did not mail the lipstick until June 15 2016 20 days after I ordered it I will not be ordering from them again

Indeed, this was very informative. I was looking into doing business with Tracy Grodsky since I was interested in purchasing some Mary Kay Cosmetics. But after reading this and the other scam reports on her, I've changed my mind. She is an awful person. And I encourage everyone else who is buying from her or thinking about it, to find someone else to do business with. Thank you for the report. I will spread this information among everyone I know so that they know to stay away from her business.

There are A LOT of complaints about these scammers. I really do think they just need to give the money back and just APOLOGIZE to whoever you took it from.

I agree with most everyone here. Tracy Grodsky-Dunn, her daughter Sarah Flauta, and their entire family are all disgusting ### for doing such things like stealing money from someone. Why don't they just RETURN every F#CKING cent that they've taken!?!?! I'm seriously PO at these kinds of ###s.

I overheard Sarah telling someone that she was an atheist and she was also criticizing Christianity and other Religions. She even had the nerve to say how stupid people were for believing in God. They are awful people, and i know that they will burn for what they've done.

Here is a bit more info that was posted about them from another victim.

"Similar thing happened to me. They are just as bad as you described them if not worse. I had met them only once but that was enough to convince me that I never want to deal with them again. There was so many things wrong with them like when I was waiting in the room when the one who said her name was sarah Flauta started talking on the phone. She kept going on and on about how overweight her sister Holly was, how her brother Ben was hiding the fact that he was gay, how her dad Allen was still obsessed with Tracy's affair and how her husband (i think his name is George) was leaving her because of his attraction to men or something. She has some major problems. She just wouldn't shut up about it. And talk about too much information. It was a very awkward situation. If that weren't bad enough i even found out a couple of weeks later that my identity had been stolen. Sarah had used my identity to steal over $3000 in the span of one week. She needs to get a life. She had told me she wanted to become a teacher or something like that but there is no way I am letting her anywhere near my kids. She'll most likely end up in prison before that happens."

As you can obviously see, this Sarah Flauta is probably the most f$#%ed up out of all of them. It would be better for her to spend her life in prison since all she does is lie and steal like everyone who's already in jail. She belongs there already.

I've heard that Sarah Flauta (grodsky) was into drugs and alcohol. She appears to be unfit to be a parent, let alone someone around children. I heard she wants to be a teacher but I would never let her near mine. I remember Tracy told me about Sarah's D.U.I. when she was sixteen and how she got into a car accident because of it. Its too bad that didn't killl her.

Mary Kay Will not make your day!

I purchased over $120.00 worth of Mary Kay products at a Mary Kay Party. To all of our surprise I had a severe allergic reaction|. I was talked into trying different products instead of getting a refund|. I didn't have any luck with the other products either?. Now I am said to get around $60!.00 as a refund|.

Imagine being excited about a new "age fighting" product and waking up looking like you've been stung all over your face by a nest bees!.

That wasn't the reaction I expected, .

Mary Kay did not make my day!

If you didn't have a reaction to the product at the time of the party, then you are not allergic to the product. A reaction would have happened within minutes of trying it. What has been your routine up to this point? If you have been in a routine of NOT rehydrating your skin with a moisturizer, then you would have had the same reaction no matter what product you used. As far as a refund / exchange, I think you probably misunderstood how it works. Mary Kay is 100% refundable. However, there sales slips DO SAY that anything over $25 can be refunded up to midnight of the 3rd business day. If you waited after the 3rd business day, then the consultant was doing you a favor, of which she does not have to at this point, by offering you half the money back. If you receive money back, you should return the product back to her as well.

Mary Kay Misled to think I was to be a &model& in a make-up presentation

I work at a hotel near the Cape. The other day I as approached my a girl who said "I'm so sorry, this might seem a little forward, but I really need a model for a Mary kay make-up presentation this Sunday, would you be interested?" Of course I said yes, totally flattered.

She said if I wanted to bring friends along I was welcome to do so. I was so excited I told my family and friends, and even invited a few of my friends along, thinking innocently, that I was going to be a "model" for a make up presentation, like the girl had said. First of all, the location was WAY out of the way, by over an hour and a half. We got lost but ended up getting there 15 minutes late. I was nervous that I had messed up their schedule and that there were lots of people waiting on me, as the "model" for the day. I walked into the room, and was immediately mortified and embarrasssed. It was immediately apparent that not only was I not the "model", but I had been duped into a Mary kay party with 3 strangers. I was SO embarrasssed, because I brought friends along and they thought they were just going to sit back and watch someone put make up on me, LIKE I WAS TOLD. I just wanted to run and hide. I was tricked, and of course was pressured into buying something at the end of the party. If I was told I was going to a Mary kay party, I would not have gone. She told me I was to be a model instead, lying to me. I was SO upset. I will NEVER buy Mary Kay because of the conniving ways of this Mary Kay beauty consultant.

It is true I do own my own Mary kay business and it is not practice to apply the makeup on the customer. Some consultants are not up front and do not care about their customers. I got into the business because I love makeup. With my customers I teach them how to apply the makeup because I will not always be around. My sister often ask me to do her makeup which I will but you have to understand some of these consultants do not know how to apply makeup. You can go online and find the right consultant for you. I have read alot of reviews about customers not obtaining there products and the bad apples out there that do not work there business honestly you can report them. Trust me when I say we do not need those type of people, it reflects badly on the company and is a bad reflection of themselves. I hope if you do return you have a better experience.

Just because there are a few bad apples doesn't make the whole batch bad...we are all not like that...most are go give and want repeat customers others just a sale...you have to find someone you are comfortable with...this is not how Mary Kay taught us.

Mary Kay consultants are not allowed to legally apply the products to their guests. It is a liability issue. I used to be a consultant so that is how I know about the policy. The guests have to apply their own products. Right there is a reason for you to call the corporate office in Dallas Texas and report this liar.

I was pressured into buying a face wash product, and all it did was to give me a rash, pimples, and oily skin. I went back to Avon, and have never been happier. Guess that will teach me to do business with their competitor. I will never buy any Mary Kay stuff again.

Mary Kay Incomplete order

My mother and I hosted a small facial party for a Mary Kay Rep, who happens to be a close friend of mine...we ordered a decent amount of products, and the REP split the payments up for us to pay over the next few weeks. The rep gave us some of the products we ordered that she had on her, she then stated that we would not be able to recieve the rest of our products(of which she had to order) until we made our final payment.

Although a few of our payments were late, nevertheless, we made the final payment and still have not recieved the rest of the products we ordered. My mother has left messages and called, and to no avail, the Mary Kay Rep will not return our messages or phone calls...our last payment was made in april it is now July and I believe we are entitled to a refund and/or the rest of our products we ordered...what are my options, who can I call to settle this matter?!

Wow, reading all the MK complaints... Seem like most of these complaints should be made under the CONSULTANTS name and not MK. Since MK does not really control how the consultants run their business. I am sorry this happened to you. This give the rest of us bad names. You need to report this MK consultant to MK corporate.

Call MK Corporate and report her... you can find the number at MaryKay.com website. I am a consultant and would never have done that and you have every right to be upset! I would have gave you the rest of your products once you made your final payment whether it was late or not...I am so sorry this has happened to you! Just remember one bad apple does not make all the apples bad...

Mary Kay Bad rep service

On July 4, 2010, I ordered $221.40 worth of products from Mary Kay Rep. She did not give me a receipt and since she is my sister's rep, I thought she was reputable. She told me that she would immediatly place the order and it would be back the following Monday. I have witnessess that saw the transaction take place. After a couple of weeks of waiting and not returning my phone calls, the rep brought half my procducts. It has been almost a month and she will not return my phones calls. I attempted to contact Headquarters several times and not only were they rude, they said Joyce (the director for the rep) may not want to get involved because she does not want to be financially responsible for this claim. I informed the person I spoke with that this is fradulant and not good practice, but she didn't seem to care. Watch out for fradulant Mary Kay reps.

Mary Kay Rude and very bad service

I purchased a lipstick from a mary kay consultant and it came all ripped up and she would not accept my return. I was stupid and purchased again and the product was missing some of the contents out of the bottle. i would like a return and she stated no. I am very unhappy and would like to know what is the corporate info, to voice my complaint of these consultants. TheMary Kay lady yelled at me, and then wanted to come over my house to pick up her business cards that she gave to me. How Rude. Please help.

I orderd sixty dollars worth of Mary Kay and like you they sold me some stuff that was already open and used, One product I didn't like at all was the foundation and have got a song and dance about my refund since and just took it as a lost and will never buy from any of them again, The reps are all ripp offs ! and I have learned my lesson about purchasing from any one outside of a department store, Where I can walk it back in for refund ...

Mary Kay Bad experience

Gosh it is horrible that you have had a bad experience. It is so hard to get repeat customers and for any Mary Kay rep to be dishonest or rude is horrible. I would like to extend an offer to you or anyone else who reads this that wants a good honest Mary Kay Rep to purchase ...

Every order over $50.00 you get 20%off plus for every $50.00 you spend you get 1 additional item 1/2 off along with a FREE GIFT and FREE SHIPPING! EVERY ORDER EVERY TIME!

Then if you refer someone to me and they place an order or $50.00 you get 1 FREE item of your choice valued up to 25.00 FREE! Gosh what a wonderful word...FREE!

The discount doesn't come off on the website so you submit your order and I will contact you with the actual amount charged to your card. Oh and yes, I do returns, exchanges...what ever will you need from me as your Mary Kay Rep!

Mary Kay No refund

I have purchased MK products from other reps before so I know I can exchange or get a refund. I placed an order with a new rep this week and my order came in today. I was getting ready to give her my credit card but she said that she didn't take them, only cash or check. Then I told her that I would let her know on Monday if I needed to return anything (many products irritate my skin). She said that she only does returns or exchanges, no refunds. At this point I refused to pay for the order - this was going to be too much of a hassle and I wasn't going to purchase the items then turn around and send them back to MK and wait for a refund. I also didn't want anything in particular to replace the items that may not work for me. I purchase MK once or twice a year so a credit will not due - it is MY money. Then she insisted that I pay for the order since she can't return the unused items and she said I put her in a bind money wise. Can she return items to MK to get her money back?

I am a Mary Kay Beauty Consultant. Yes you can return your products to your consultant, she looses no money, she has to in return fill out a form with customer name an product returned an reason why. They replace the product back to her. Mary Kay is 100% garunteed. I would contact Mary Kay an inform them of this consultants actions.Corporate office is in Dallas Tx. the answer is no . we can not send unused product back to the company.

she loses money when you place an order and dont get it as promised as she had to pay for it first to have the product to sell it to you.

how sad you would waste someones time when she is trying to do her job.

you should have never ordered from her if you planned on just trying it and sending it back.

Mary Kay HORRIBLE bridesmaid service

I had never seen the bridesmaid dress for my brother and sister-in-laws wedding before. I was very excited about being able to finally see the dress after ordering my size. When the dress came in it was beautiful, but also two sizes too big, I am a size 4 and they ordered a size 6. After showing them the papers that said the size I had ordered was a 4, they would not let me have a discount for their mistak, we also did the initial alterations for the dress as well as getting a new size. After reviewing how much it was going to cost for alterations and a new size, it was 2 TIMES more than the quoted price when we initially ordered the dress. The dress took a month to get into the store, I went with my then boyfriend (now finace) to try the bridesmaid dress on, it took them 5 minutes to locate the dress. Once it was located I tried it on, I thought it was perfect on me. When I got out to the area to show my now finace, and have the alterations lady look at it, she commented on how fat I looked in the dress. I was in complete shock and my fiance was disgusted that she would say that. I am 115lbs, she looked about 130-140lbs...AND I WAS THE FAT ONE?

I found out at my brothers wedding, from the bride, that half the dresses had to be sent back for the bridesmaids because they used PINK stitching on a PURPLE dress. My sister-in-law was horrified when I told her they called me fat as well. We will NEVER use Mary Kay Bridal again, and I tell everyone I know to never use them! Horrible service and rude employees!
