Martial Arts Unauthorized Charges

This martial arts studio apparently makes up their contracts as the go along. My daughter was removed from the clsss due to her not being able to attend regularly and we were told that our money wouldn't be drafted from our account. Our auto draft date was the 15th and a debit was made on the 20th of November which was a Saturday. When I called to have the funds reveresed because we were told that the charge wouldn't occur, I was told that 1.My funds weren't available on the 15th and 2. that the system automatically reruns your credit card until the funds are available. Everything was confirmed by my bank to be inaccurate and the academy sent me a letter saying that they manually processed the payment. This business is very unorganized and unprofessional.

Martial Arts Dan

I trained in martial arts for 1 year at a dojo. My 1 year expired but saw my bank account was being charged. I called the dojo they gave me educational funding company tele number. I called to Dan @ ext 218 but left a voice-mail for him. I did this for 4 days but never got a return back from him. Finally after 1 week i called and Dan picked up and identified himself.
I asked him why he was not returning my urgent calls. In a rude tone he said your talking to me now right so what do you want. I was very upset to hear him talk to a woman like this but i explained my problem and asked for a solution. He laughed and told learn to read english before signing a auto-renewal.
I now asked him for his manager he laughed and cursed my is some foreign language and hung up on me. I called back and asked for Dan's manager they trasfered me to John Cokinos. I told him about Dan, he stopped me and said here is no Dan working for his company and to honor my contract and pay up or else go to collections and hung up.
I am feed up for being lied too and cheated by Educational Funding Company and the crooks that work for them. I have notified my lawyer since i recored the calls with Dan and John and we will take be taking legal action. I advice people to never work with any dojo that uses Educational Funding Company

Looks like you got efc's attention. I am going to my lawyer tomorrow and think I might be able to start a class action suit against them. Could you contact me regarding your outcome? I have also dealt with Dan who is still working there and still rude. I tried to reach John Cokinos today and only got his executive assistant- it continues to be smoke and mirrors and they need to be brought to justice.
