Marketing Leads / Deceptive Practices
I have read several reports on this site about this company. Fortunately, I was not duped out of my $500. I was intrigued when Ray and Gwen told me they have a professional staff that does several things.
1. Professional copywriters who design an ad specifically for your business. This leads people to targeted websites which generate the leads specifically for your business.
2. When you get the leads, you work them. If they say no to your business, you then turn the leads back to FIS.
3. FIS then has a staff of professional closers who persuade the lead to join your business on the premise that they will purchase a 500 lead package themselves and FIS will, in turn, help THEM build the business in the same way.
4. You will be paid $100 every time FIS puts a lead in your down line. Oh and I almost forgot, they DO promise 200 free leads ( general leads with names and addresses only, so you need to print postcards, mail them and HOPE someone looks at them before throwing them in the trash.)
Sounds great, right? Well, it did to me too, until I spoke with them a half a dozen times and asked for statistics; proof of what they say is true. I was told by Darilyn and Gwen both "I will email you something". What I got, several times, is the original advertising website I reported in this complaint. When I called Gwen to re-explain what I wanted, she said, "I know what you want, and we don't do that. Goodbye".
I also received an email from Ray Allen, which in part stated
"As a matter of policy, we do not give out the names of our advertisers to anyone for any reason. If you decide to work with us, we would guard your privacy the same way.
Our customer base consists of many hundreds of active advertisers. It is a closely guarded asset of our company.
If you use our services, you would get the same guidance and recruiting services as do our other advertisers.
They have resulted in many marketers becoming extremely high-earners with hundreds (or thousands) of people in their down lines.
Your success will be entirely up to you, not to those who have already become substantial earners by working with us. "
I personally cut my ties with these people at this point. It does not seem reputable to me that a company that is as successful as they say they are would not have glowing reports from these "many hundreds of active advertisers".
The reason behind my reporting this is not a monetary loss, but rather more of an outcry to someone who can do something about unscrupulous people like these who routinely take people's hard earned money unchecked and with regular success without ever paying the price.
If anyone persues any kind of legal action, I would be happy to support them in any way.
I think it is a HUGE shame that people like this can go on bilking people out of their hard earned money for so many years and go unchecked.
