Makro Online hisense refrigerator ordered online

I ordered a Hisense refrigerator from Makro online. The refrigerator arrived and was scratched. Then the fridge did not cool properly and there was a build up of ice in the refrigerator main compartment. I sent through a complaint to Makro online and they replied and asked a tech to come check the fridge, which they did. They offered to replace the fridge but have never heard from them again, despite me sending several follow-up emails and even visiting the store. They say they have no record of the issue. My order number is MAK1049854. The person I dealt with via e-mail is Lesego Modise, but will not reply to any correspondence now.

The refrigerator in question was replaced now for the second time. The third one is doing the same thing the other ones did with ice build up on the back panel of the main refrigerator compartment, not the freezer. It seems that this particular design is flawed, since all of them seem to do the same thing. So the issue remains uncorrected.

No it has not been resolved. It has been several months and though they replaced the refrigerator in question, the new one does the same thing with ice build up on the back of the main compartment. I personally believe the whole line of refrigerators in this model are defective. The price has gone up significantly, so a refund will not help me. Please fix the problem. Thanks

Makro Online dstv explora 2

I ordered a DSTV expolora 2 via Makro South Africa's online website. Order no MAK 2001047. A deduction was made from my account for the amount in question the next day. When I chect the status ot the order it says "processing awaiting payment". This was a week ago the order was placed. I subsequently phones Makro twice, both times I was promised by the agent that they will phone me back with an answer. Nobody has contacted me yet. I aslo sent two emails and also nobody has emailed me back. I went as far as leaving a message on hellopeter. I was contacted by Makro, saying that they will get back to me. Still waiting for that too. The long and the short is I paid for a product and I have not received it yet and nobody is preparded to help me. Very poor service from Makro

Makro Online online order still not received

This is by far the worst service I have ever received in my life!

Our company gets our monthly groceries from makro, which I order online, and every month there is an issue with something.

Last week on the 6th feb, we made the payment for r8085.05, and the pop was sent to #.
Monday on the 11th, # told me the pop was sent through for allocation.
Since monday I am trying to find out when we will receive our groceries. We are a big company, who have 100"s clients a day, for who we cannot serve coffee or tea because of makro.
You can scroll down on my email to see how many times i've been promised by managers, that they will phone me back, but never happened. $ phoned me for the first time today 12:20 after I lefts 6 messages only today.
Every time I phone, he is either in a meeting, or all of a sudden he does not have a phone so they can't transfer calls to him (but yesterday I was transferred), or he is on lunch.

@ (a manager) was also supposed to phone me today, never got back to me (she told me herself she will phone me in the next 15 - 30 minutes)

Now @ 13:30 when I phoned #, he told me makro is nationwide on strike, so I want to know what solution do you have for me?
Why was our groceries not delivered yesterday or even the day before?

To my managers, it looks like I am not doing my job. I would like feedback asap. If you cannot deliver our groceries today, we would like a refund today

Makro Online online sales

I ordered a ladder mak2001263 from makro on the 5th of feb 2019.

On friday the 8th I called in to change the delivery address and the recipients details.
I had to call twice, first I spoke to a lady and she assured me the changes is made.
I went online to get no changes still the original delivery address. I called again this time speaking to a man. He checked and no the changes was not made he will do it for me.

Today wednesday the 13th of feb, checked online no the old delivery address is still the same. Call in a lady assists, she asked me to check my online profile while I am on the phone with her and no the delivery address is still not changed.

She calls her supervisor, to my surprise its the guy who assist me on friday the 8th, he tells me that makro don't deliver to the new address I want to change.

Why did I have to wait 6 days? Aren't they supposed to know where makro delivers and where not.

I told them ok then they need to refund me, because there is no one at the first address. Please refund me.

He told me he is putting in the refund, I can check my online profile in 10min time then it will show order cancelled as the refund is in process.

Guess what I just check its now 13:37 no refund, no order cancelled.

I want my refund.

Makro Online deneys full cream milkshake

I was at your store in ottery literally 30 mins ago. I purchased a few household items and obviously something for the road. Being pregnant is not easy in this heat.

To my surprise once opening my milkshake of R24.95, it's sour! This is not the first time it happens where goods are expired before the best before date on the packaging.

I am furious at the horrible taste I had to endure as well as the money I keep wasting at your store!

Makro Online hisense 58" uhd smart tv

Order No. MAK1083953

I have purchased this TV in November and was delivered on the 2nd of December. the TV has 3 problems from the start:

1. TV Needs to be rebooted every time it needs to be connected to a wifi device or re-connect to a wifi device.

2. USB 3 port "throws the usb device out" after few minutes of play

3. TV Freezes randomly, and does not respond to the remote and need to be rebooted

We had 4 technicians to have a look and 1 mother board replacement was done. it continues to give the same problems.

I have called in several times and was told I would get feedback and technician would come but still I sit the same problem, see below last two reference numbers

Makro Online no refund after returning two items to my nearest makro, which I bought online

On 2019.01.27 I returned two faulty bubblegum tablets, which I bought online, to my nearest makro (silver lakes in pretoria).
I was assured that the transaction would be reversed to makro online and that my refund back to my credit card, would be done within 7 working days.

By yesterday (2019.02.07) I still have not received the refund.
I phoned makro online. The agent said she could see it was captured but the held up was with finance. I asked her to get someone from their finance to call me and let me know what the status was. No one got back to me.

This morning (2019.02.08) I phoned makro online again.
Today is the 10th working day after I returned the faulty devices.
The agent found out that my refund is only loaded to clear to my account on 2018.02.15 - 15 working days after return of faulty devices.
I was not happy and asked to speak with a manager.
The agent put me on hold and after 27 minutes, my call was cut.

I am very unhappy with the service I have received with this refund!

Am going through the same process. You are treated as if you are the one owing them but it's instead the other way around. They should just be upfront and tell us when we are going to actually get our money. I have had the worst experience with makro ever. Am never buying anything from them. This is totally unacceptable! I have tried calling several times but they can't resolve my issue!

Makro Online no delivery of fridge

I purchased a fridge online on 25/01/2019 delievery was supose to happen within 5 working days. Still today I do not have it, I have calling the contact centre and everyday they say someone will call me be ack and no one ever does, I want a refund they say it takes 7days, so basically I have been living on take aways for two weeks and now I must continue to wait to get a refund and go buy a fride else where?

Makro Online online shopping

I bought ( and paid ) for a fridge form Makro on the 20/1/2019. Delivery was between 2 and 5 working days.
To date not fridge and no correspondance to explain . When I call the call centre I am given a ticken number and promise that someone will call me with in 48 hours - To date nothing
I will never use this again and the lack of service is unexceptable in any service area

Makro Online expensive fridge faulty (warranty)

I bought an AEG French door fridge/freezer in Sept 2018 from Makro. The LED display is faulty and was told when I reported this that it is just past the two week exchange date. Continued to report the problem at customer service and their technician called me for an appointment. His report was that the display needs replacement and the part needs to be ordered. I followed up and was told it was ordered but has not arrived yet. The next follow up I did not even get a response.

I called Makro CC again and asked to speak to a manager or call me back. Nothing happened.

I have also emailed the Head Office for a response/assistance numerous times and nothing. I do not have time to go to the store to sort out this mess, if at all and not just be told to call HO, but maybe this is the only way.

Any advice will be appreciated.

Makro Online whirlpool washing machine not working

I have sent several emails to Polokwane Makro with no one responding or assisting me. Please provide your email address so that I can forward you all the relevant emails
My machine is bought in March 2018 and does not work.
I have lodge several complaints via email but nobody is responding
I have used my last savings to buy this machine and it does not work
I want a new machine or this matter resolved within 24 hours or I will take it further

Makro Online item on order was cancelled due to no stock. no refund given

On 5 January 2019 Makro cancelled an item on my order because they had no stock, they told me that they will refund the product. I have been sending numerous emails and made phone calls in regards to this refund. On 30 January 2019 I am still waiting for them to refund the amount of R399.
They have not been in contact with to arrange for this refund.

Makro Online Whirlpool fridge and freezer

Good day

We bought the Whirlpool Standup Fridge an Freezer 2-3 years ago. My husband took an extended warranty out.

We went to the store at Strubensvally to complain that the Freezer door does not close properly, and the alarm keeps reminding us. They sent a Whirlpool agent that said the Freezer is not repairable and that it should be a factory reject. Makro sent a replacement Freezer which had dents in it, and I refuse to take a damaged Freezer.

They took it back, and promised to deliver a new one unit as soon as possible.

Thereafter, we went to the store again to complain, and nothing happened. No call back, no Fridge nothing.

Now, for the last 2 weeks, the fridge freezes up.

What do we have to do to get this problem solved?

This is unacceptable.

Please go back on your records and see how many times we reported the same problem. Needles to say, with lack on Makros' side, we have a new problem with the fridge, and I am sure it is because of the door problem.

Hi all went to makro to credit pilchards chilli 400 grams as I bought at woodmead in november as the lady who was helping me punch 3 chilli pillchards instead of 1 chilli n 2 tomatoe pilchards the lady at crown mines told me can't credit as it's tomatoe n I told her that I bought them at woodmead was not my mistake lady punch all chilli ones, I called u customer service spoke to zolani was helpful but told me must ask for supervisor at makro in crown mines but he promised he wil get back to me about this issue not happy.

Makro Online incorrect order received

On 10/12/2018 I have placed order number MAK1102079 which is a KODA Ruka Work Desk Whitewashed oak. On 21/12/2018 I received a package but it was not the work desk, instead it was a TV Stand.

The day the incorrect order was received by someone on my behalf, I phoned Makro immediately for the exchange. We also left for holiday where there was no signal for the people to get hold of me. Although I did speak to consultant at the call centre many times to follow up.

Mapule is dealing with my query. Yesterday she told me that she has contacted Makro Wonderboom a few times to arrange for the exchange. She even called me back yesterday to follow up if someone has called me regarding that. But till today I have received not 1 call regarding an exchange.

I have ordered on behalf of a High School, you will also be able to see that on my profile. From a business and individual perspective, this is the worst service received.in the first place the right order was supposed to be delivered. I want that desk before the end of the week.

Makro Online non delivery of paid goods - order: mak1108155

Now critical! 

Good day

I have placed the above order online early december and paid for it in full, but to date no delivery and only empty promises! 

I want to know where is my order because you are now bordering on fraud as you advertised goods which I have paid for, yet you have not delivered the goods! 

I expect an answer urgently, or I am pressing charges against your company for fraud! 

I am also going viral with this on social media to warn people about your fraudulent actions! 

This is absolutely shocking!

Makro Online mak1095971 - refund still not received and call center cannot assist me

I placed an order online with Makro on the 5th December 2018 and delivery should take 7 days. I then received an email on the 18th December 2018 advising me that they did not have stock of the product. the Order was then cancelled and I was advised that I would receive a refund within 3 to 5 days. To date I have not received the refund, I have called the call center and they advised that they would follow up for me, however I have not received a response. I have also emailed the lady that advised me that they did not have stock, however she no longer works for Makro. I urgently require the refund

Makro Online refunding not answered

I bought a video camera online from the makro website, Everything ran smoothly and I received my package. I opened up everything and charged the device. When it was time to test it out, I was deeply unsatisfied with the quality of product I was given. The description on their website was misleading stating that this video camera was high quality only to see for myself that I have been bamboozeled. I opted out for a refund and sent a request to send the device back for my money back. I've sent dozens of emails and still no response. I am still waiting for a response and it's been almost 3 weeks now and still nothing. I filed for a refund and they gave me a reference number but I am still waiting. MAK1104916 (order number)

Makro Online product/service

Good day
I want to complain about the unfair treatment I received at Makro. I purchased a samsung washing machine on the 27 December 2016. Six months later from purchase the machine had a fault and I logged it with Makro, they arranged for someone to come fetch the machine and took it for repairs. I had the same issue with the machine and Makro yet again arranged for the people to come fetch the machine and take it for repairs. I have an extended warranty hence they able to fetch it. My complaint is that I will have to keep logging these calls for my machine yearly as it keeps on having the same issue and instead of Makro replacing the machine, they just told me to call the callecentre as there is nothing they can do. The store manager Dennis Reynolds was no help whatsoever, instead he jus kept on repeating himself as if his talking to a bunch of idiots. I left the store not assisted and confused. All I want is for my machine to be replaced with a new one as this issue has happened in two years and it's been faulty twice.

Makro Online nutrictech - hulk gainer

Good day. I bought two tubs of Nutritech Hulk mass gainer at Makro Wonderboom. I opened the first tub only to find that the sealed cap on top of the product had been opened. The opened tub was also had less in it in comparison to the closed tub.
I realized that I had left my slip in the trolley but took screenshots of the amount deducted from my account on the banking app.
