Mail Box Planet / Overcharged
This firm uses the typical bait and switch, when a customer renews their mailbox. When the customer first contracts for a rental box, upon renewal, s/he is orally promised two months free, no matter at what level the renewal is: 3 months, 6 months or 12 months.
When I came recently to renew at the 3 months rate, I was told that ' the 2 free months only applied to the 12 month's rate, 'and he, the owner would have never said this [offering 2 months free at any rate], and 'see: he put the 12 month stipulation in writing.' Yes, the owner put the 12-month stipulation in writing, but I never saw him do it, when I made my first payment.
Then he became nasty, and rudely asked did I still want the box. What choice did I have? Futhermore, when I asked for a receipt and ask that my current payment be documented in my file, he hatefully said, have a nice day.
Do not do business with this company.
