Mahindra & Mahindra very bad service, improper response

I PURCHASED MY VEHICLE ON NOVEMBER 2009, I GAVE MY CAR FOR FIRST SERVICE ON THIRD WEEK OF FEB 2010 IN " TVS SUNDRAM IYENGAR & SONS LTD TRIVANDRUM, AFTER SERVICE MY VEHICLE IS NOT IN PROPER CONDITION. AGAIN I USED MY CAR BECAUSE ITS UNAVOIDABLE, INBETWEEN ANOTHER PROBLEM ARAISES SO I MADE SO MANY CALLS TO " TVS" GUYS THEY TOLD TO BRING THE VEHICLE, AGAIN I SEND MY VEHICLE THIS TIME ALSO THEY DIDNT MADE PROPER SERVICE, AM PHYSICALLY AND MENTALLY WORRIED. Mahindra & Mahindra Over charging & unnecessary change of parts

I had bought a Scorpio in June 2007 and since then I have been happy with the vehicle, however not happy with the dealer ( Koncept automobile Pvt Ltd, Noida), which incidentaly also has service centre. My experience in terms of car service has always been shabby with this dealer. Today I went to the service station to get my vehicle serviced. I told them to get the following stuff done - Brake and clutch noise repair, back door jamming / hardness, driver seat window failure and power window control panel coming off, nozel adjustment, Air conditionary cooling check.

In the afternoon to my surprise i get a call from the advisor stating their is a requirement for change of brake shoe / pads and some drum has also got spoilt. I asked him if it is really necessary to get these changed as my memory was telling me that I have been changing brake pads in every servicing. He gave me all the reasons required to change these. On his words I asked him to change the same. There was whole lot of stuff along with these that got changed which were very costly. The total parts realted to brakes worked out to be around 12000.

Now coming to the most important part of my complaint. This dealers had charged me a total labour cost of Rs 4550 including paid service of Rs 1300, rest is as follows - Consumable - Rs 100, Brake pad & disc change - Rs 750, Brake shoe change - Rs 750, Drum Turning - Rs 900, Hand brake cable change - Rs 300 and last but not the least Rer shocker change - Rs 450.

I have only one question to ask to this dealer - Does money grow on trees and are these charges prescribed by Mahindra. For what have they charged me paid service fees of Rs 1300, just for washing the car. Do they have separate labour charges for each of the activity which is realted to only one function - Brakes. The total bill presented to me was Rs 24809 after giving me a discount of 10 % on service charges after I raised hue and cry. Also to quote the incharge of service advisor gave me this discount as if he was doing a favour to me.

God knows whether this grievance of mine would reach to any senior official of Mahindra, but still I wanted my fellow owners of Mahindra to know about this high handedness of this dealer.

I too had bad experience with Sireesh, Bangalore. They over charged and replace parts unnecessarily and owner not allowed inside to see whats happening. Have to believe what ever they say and pay the bill. Spares of old model not available, there is lot of delay in minor work getting done and many remain undone. They are careless and dont keep even a pen drive or any tool set inside the car. I lost it. Scared of going to showroom for servicing post free services. Happily getting done for lesser and prompt service outside from local garage

Mahindra & Mahindra Not Giving Proper Service

dear madem,

I am naresh ku. Verma from rourkela, orissa, india. I regret
you to a big problem with my mahindra duro two wheeler.

The Problems are :-
- my engine touches the bumper when there is two person in vehicle.
- Secondly, my back rear wheel is not in middle.
- no milage.

This is the second complain two you because your
dealer, manager, etc.
they are not giving any responces to me only they are
doing fraud with me telling tommorow-today, 10 days-5days.
not giving me a proper service my 1st complain no. is
C1310005.you can short-out this problem in your database.
I have not seen that bad proper service to people.and
the language how your staff talks.

If you don't help me or not-shortout of this problem i
have to do a consumer case.

Mahindra & Mahindra gearbox and spares

i have purchased a mahindra scropio vlx 8 months back, i have asked for a bonnet stiker & vlx monogram for my suv for last 6 months and have even paid for it 6 months ago but till date i have been waiting for it and listen for excuses .also i have some problem from the gear box at cold starts my first gear slips and when i approached the srevice center i was told that this is a regular complaint and u r not a special one, so try to live with it and then left alone .if paying a sum of rs 9.5lacs is having no value for mahindra then its better to shut all the service and sales points all over india, at least no one will feel cheated

hello sir good day i have purchased mahindra xylo i 2010 june it change propeller shaft center bearing and cross bearing at 20000 km and 28000 km chop front tyre in side suppose to it happen in 100000km your gurntee limits not comlete and how u make standers and compare with forigen quality and standards we pay full price.but u no care u see the other company toyota and bmw nissian take care the responsibility i am not happy with u. Hello Team,

I purchase mahindra Scorpio 2012 model on year 2012, i really enjoy the ride of Scorpio, it is very joy-able experience. since jan-2016 we have an issue on chassis and need to change the same, i am from chhatisgar raigarh where we don't have service centre.

Could you please suggest where we can change the chassis, it will be great help if proviede the details with original chassis price.

I have a 2011 model Scorpio Automatic which was purchased in December 2011. Now it is nearing 4 year completion. For the last 4 months, the vehicle is put in Service Center atleast 2 times a month. The issue is vehicle will not move with AC on. Without AC while driving, if the brake is applied, it will take a lot of time to get back to 80 Km speed. If I try to accilarate, thick black smoke is coming out. I have changed almost all the parts including the Turbo. Service center keeps billing me for all these, but still there is no progress. What should I do now ?

When we switch on the engine voice message is coming up 'attention engine over heat' and followed by that engine will switch off automatically but the temperature is normal.Please advice me what to do?We are from Trivandrum and my Scorpio at Palany mahindra service station last 7 days.but they cannot find the trouble.Your immediate response will be highly appreciated. I have purchase a mahindra scorpio Vehical no:KA-50 M-5945
i done my Vehical service from indian garage at peenya, i am not able to open & Close the door by using remote, i have address this problem to Indian Garage service center several times but till it is not rectified.
Kindly look after the issue & rectify the problem at earliest.

Respected Sir/Madam,

I am Mr. Bobin Devasia, son of P K Devasia.We are the regular customers of Mahindra, from our early days .This letter is regarding my concern and feedback, regarding the service recently I received from Mahindra service centre/TVS, Eranakulam, Kerala, for my Scorpio model no:T28STR, chase no: MA1PA2DFC32G83237, engine no: BF34G48097.
With lot of frustration and stress, I am writing this letter to the higher authority seeking justice.
On 28th march, 2am on the way back from Ooty with my family, my Scorpio had a sudden sound and smoke coming from engine side. At the midnight I called the 24 hr service hotline and service centre landline a lot of time to get a help. But no one responded, after a long wait, I got a taxi and putting my Scorpio on the road with my family, went to the 24 hr service centre, Ernakulum bypass.
The staff on duty for the day, Mr.Deepu attended to me and came to the spot with me and checked thoroughly the vehicle. On the full examination, he told that the internal timing wiring is the cause for the problem and asked to sent the vehicle for thorough checking after removing the engine fan we drive the vehicle towards the service centere.The staff Mr .Deepu thoroughly checked my vehicle in front of me and explained details and came to conclusion that all other part are well and only the timing wiring (inside wiring)should be changed and will take at least 1 to 2 weeks, as my car is first model batch, the parts have to intend from the company. He also noted the remaining fuel amount and listed all complaints in a service sheet.
As we are staying in Changanacherry, which is around 80 km from Ernakulum service centre, we requested Mr Deepu to do some speedy recovery, so that we can bring to Kottayam service centre next morning, which is only 18 km from my house. But according to him, he steadily told us that, when the timing wiring is spoiled and if we drive the car, it will spoil the entire wiring system and gear and can cause more issues. As he advised, we waited until morning 5.30am and left the place.
That night Mr Deepu told us that when service centre opens in morning, the staff will give us a call to update regarding the work and its progress .The day morning no one call us and I called the service centre at 12.30 pm to check the repairing status, the staff attended to me was Mr Berin, who seem to be very inpatient, when I queried about my car, he told me that there is a staff shortage and will call back and let us know about the complaints in 2 days time. When I asked his name and his position he pushed the call to a lady in the reception, when spoken to her the response was almost the same. When she told that she is a receptionist, I requested to speak to a service staff, then she transferred the call to Mr Sujesh (service adviser) attended to my call, he too mentioned regarding the staff shortage story, but showed a manner to apologise and collected the vehicle details from me to gather the info and assured me that he will call me within 1 hr. But I waited until 4.30pm and call them back and requested for Mr Sujesh. According to him the mechanics are still finding the problem will call back and update me later. I told him that the night duty staff Mr, Deepu has already thoroughly checked my vehicle in front of me and recorded the problem in the service sheet .He ended the call, saying that someone in charge will call by night time and update, but I didn’t get any calls from the until next day.
The next day I called them back at 11 am to check the status and requested for the same person Mr, Sujesh, as I no need to say again the story from start. The reception staff told me that he is not around and as I requested for a person in a same position .They give me Mr Anu Ravi (service Adviser) ph number ([protected]). When I called him, he seem to be very blur and unsure of what is happening .Again I had to tell him the whole story and give the vehicle details .He told that he will check through and will call back. I explained my frustration, as no one had called from the service centre until now. Mr Anu Raj promised me that he will surely call me back after 15 min, surprisingly he called me and told me that, alternator has problem and will check again. I told that the night duty staff Mr Deepu has already checked my vehicle in front of me and recorded the problem in the service sheet and requested him to do things accordingly.
He told that he will call back and let us know about the collection day when repairing completed. The next day on 31st he called my father and told that the vehicle is ready and asks to come and collect, also told that still got some small sound, but no need to worry. As my father couldn’t go that day, told that will come next day 1st April to get the vehicle .My father and my friend rented a car and went to Ernakulum service office. When they checked the car still had the same sound problem when started and when checked the security staff there told my father, that the problem are solved and no need to worry and ask to go a head. Even though my father tried to call Mr, Anu Ravi regarding the bad sound was unable to get, as it was a Sunday. So they took the car and drive towards Changanacherry, the vehicle had very bad sound problem and stopped in Mankobu, which is 15 km, away from Changanacherry at 2 pm.My old father and my friend when checked the bonnet the timing belt was misplaced and smoke coming out from the engine.
They tried to call Ernakulum and Kottayam service centre lot of time continuously, but no one pick up and after long 20 to 25 phone calls, the Kottayam service vehicle answered the call and come for help at 6pm to the spot after through checking Mr Girish from the Kottayam, told that the timing wiring is totally spoiled, as inside wiring was not changed and drive almost 65 km had spoiled some related wiring systems.
According to them wanted to use Crain to pull the vehicle to Kottayam (50 km from the spot). But when mentioned that the vehicle just came out from Ernakulum service centre, they contacted directly to the Ernakulum service centre and enquired, after discussion the manager from Ernakulum service centre told, that the vehicle will be pulled to Ernakulum for further repairing (65 to 70 km from the spot), also asked us to pay for the crain charges. When told Mr Girish, that we need a written slip of the crain charges, he called service centre Manager and after discussion, Manager agreed to pay the money in Ernakulum office.
They parked the vehicle in a petrol pump that night and took via crain towards Ernakulum next day. As I got the Assistant Manager, Mr Vineeth’s number from the office, I called him from Singapore to enquire regarding the issue, according to him, he told that car has reached and need to check and will call back and update me later. When I called him again in the evening there was no response so I had to call the Ernakulum service centre office and asked for Mr Vineeth, according to the staff Mr Vineeth was in a meeting. So I sms him to call back after the meeting, later when I called him in the evening he told me that the inside timing wiring is totally spoiled and need to be changed and will take time. When he told me this I asked him that when my car was first assessed by Mr Deepu on the very first day the problem was same and the inside wiring must have been changed, instead of that the service staff had changed my cars :
(1) Break liner and break fluid without consulting us (the break liner and fluid was changed recently), where I only mention to check my cars break system, as a routine.
(2) Alternator resetting without our permission
(3) Wiring (according to the staff they have only changed the outer timing wiring).
I steadily told him that no one has informed or asked for a permission from me or my father, also I complaint to him that their service was very poor .According to Mr Vineeth the issues seems to be unknown to him and will enquire and get back to me. Next day I called him again to check the status, he told me very casually that the timing wiring and some related internal wirings including the gear system has totally spoiled and have to change. As my car is the first model it will take time, as the parts should be ordered from the company. I asked him how long it will take, without mentioning clearly, he told that generally other cars with almost the same problem have been there nearly 2 months. I also asked him why they changed my beak liner and break fluid and alternator resetting which was not mentioned to us at all. According to him he said, that there was some existing problem so that they had to change and assured that they have done it with our acknowledgement, which I totally disagree. I also told Mr Vineeth that, my elderly father confirmed with Mr Anu Ravi via phone that the car is ready to pick, even though there is a small sound, but it is not an issue, as they have thoroughly checked. When my friend (who was with me on the first day) started the car and realized that the irritable sound is still there, was also convinced by the staff, my father had to drive the car back home.
After this I enquired regarding the estimated bill with Mr Vineeth and he told me that it can be minimum 25000 to 30000 rupees, very casually. After hearing this I questioned him that when my car was first assessed by Mr Deepu in front of me, he definitely told me that the internal timing wiring should be changed urgently and will take at least 2 weeks time as the parts have to be intended from the company, also Mr Deepu explained to me that running the vehicle without changing the internal timing wiring can cause related problem. I asked Mr Vineeth how come, after the service and payment my car ended up with the same problem and stopped half way, which clearly shows that the problem was not correctly solved and the payment was taken for unnecessary services. Also complained to him that, from the day one, the service provided was very poor, lot of communication breakdowns, irresponsible behaviour and poor follow-ups, which had made my elderly and ill father to travel by taxi with my friend from Changanacherry to Ernakulum to pick the partially serviced car and on the way they had to face the break down stress, helplessness, time (waited for 4 to 5 hrs for a service vehicle help), and money wastage .
After all this issues the service staff seems to be irresponsible and claims that, they are right and we (customer) and our car is the problem creator. After my questioning and clarification, I just confirmed Mr Vineeth’s full name and his position (which made him a bit angry), and also instructed him not to start any repairing as I need a clarification from the higher authority as the Ernakulum service centre looks irresponsible and non responding. Before I finished this words, he started to get angry and told that if I am going further for a clarification from the higher authority, he will just put my car a side and told me that complaint is not a big issue and asked me to go head with the complaint, as it doesn’t bother him . The attitude seems to be too arrogant and the tone provoked me and I asked him, as a reputed manager position, he should have calmed me instead of provoking me to go head with the complaint. After listening to me, he told me that he will react to the customer tone and no need to threaten him with the complaint.
I was shocked with his response and I explained to him that as a customer, I have my rights to complaint and enquire, but as a service manager he should have done service recovery and solve the issue. I also question him, why I cant complaint as a customer, as I am the one who suffered, by the irresponsible service from the service centre and also am the one, who paid for all the unnecessary works. Followed by this, he told me that nothing can be sort out through phone and ask me to send somebody else (as am in Singapore)to see the problem and he finished the conversation .
Conclusions
• My car, the model2003 was a good conditioned car, which we were very happy about .Within these nine years it has only covered nearly one lakh ten thousand kilometeres, which shows that we maintained it very well and only used for our personal use. My neighbours and friends always eyed our car, as it was maintained well and look good. Even Mahindra Kottayam service centre used to comment, that our car is the only conditioned and well maintained car from the first model batch, which comes there for services. My father who is very particular regarding the car maintained and took care of the vehicle as his own belonging. But now my car is left unattended and dumped in an irresponsible service centre.
• On the very first day, the problem was identified by the brilliant staff Mr Deepu (currently not responding to the phone call, can be pressurised by the management). But the service centre treated different issues and changed the unnecessary parts and took the payment.
• When my elderly father pick up the vehicle from the service centre he realised the same irritable sound when started the engine, as convinced by the service staff Mr Anu Ravi he had to, take the car back and travel nearly 65 km on the way back home and got breakdown and met the same issue. My elderly father in the hot sun had to face the problem, overcome the stress and money/time wastage.
• My car was left unattended in a petrol pump, in an unfamiliar place for the whole night until the crain pull my car to Ernakulum service centre the next day. Through out this process my father, who took care of our car all the while as a family property, was in a stress.
• Second time also we had to face the same irresponsible service staff and management who claims that all the underlining issues was because of our vehicle and they are perfect.
• The service assistant manager, Mr Vineeth V.V after all this issues, seems to be very arrogant with irresponsible attitude and poor customer service and relationship; he intentionally provoked me to go head with the complaint. Feel pity towards the management who have posted him in a position to supervise others, where he himself needs a good supervision from the higher authority. This kind of person in a position can be shame for a company like Mahindra / TVs.
As the Mahindra customer we always go back to the company service centre in a belive, that problems will be rectified and solved correctly, we also have spend the money and the time to get my things done perfectly. But due to this unexpected irresponsible service, our family has to face many issues. The car which is a personal use in my family, which includes my father(65 year old, heart patient with bypass done who requires medical emergency any time), my mother(60 years who has diabetes and hypertetion who also requires medical emergency any time), grand mother, 85 years old and my son 4 years old with my maid. As u can understand the vulnerable family are totally dependent on a car for all our personal and emergency travels. With the poor service, we are facing bad issues in our family. Currently we have rented a car for our personal use, which costs 750 rupees per day.
Ernakulum customer service has estimated the repairing time nearly 2 months and the service charge as minimum 25 to 30 thousand. If this is going to be the case can u imagine how much I have to pay in total? Only because of the Ernakulum service centre poor service I and my family had to go through this phase.
I request the higher authority to trace the problem and clarify the issue and come to the conclusion as soon as possible to sort my case .Also need an apologue and clarification from Ernakulum service centre management. Meanwhile I require a supporting service (car or rental payment from the company). I am hopping and believing that Mahindra will take a necessary step and sort out this issue as soon as possible, as my car is left unattended currently.

I gave my Vehicle (TN-04 R 6162) for a regular maintanence service (70, 000KM) with few more compliants related to AC & seating alignment on 26/02/2011 (Saturday) to your esteemed dealer MPL Motors, Vadapalani, Chennai.

The Service Advisor (Ranjith) noted down my complaints in the Jobsheet and for seat alignment and parts requested me to give some time to fix. Since i want the complaints to be resolved, told him to take 6 days time which he accepted and promised to deliver. The next day, he called me and told there are some more complaints in the vehicle which may cost close to 25, 000 rs / - for which he wanted my approval. I gave him the approval the very next day. But on the 6th day when i checked whether the vehicle is ready for delivery, i was told it will take some more time. Also, he wanted to know whether i would like to get the broken front wind shield to be replaced through insurance for which i asked him the formality. I didnt get any response back on the formality to be followed for the next 4 days. On wednesday, i went with the docs for insurance cliam, where i was told it is not sufficient to process insurance. I was frustrated, as after following up for 4 days and confimring on the documentation required, all my effort to travel from home to service centre gone waste. No one to compensate that?..

My agony continued after that also.The SE called me after 14days and said the vehicle is ready for delivery beliving the same i went with full cash of 58, 000rs/- and pushed to my extreme frutration level when i inspected the vehicle and found out that almost all the complaints i gave unattended!...

What to do? at that point i thought i could have learned Car Mechanism...

My question here is: If none of the visible problem was rectified, how i belive that your service would have carried out other complaints?

I returned home without the Vehicle but with complete disappointment!
After 4 further days of time, they delivered the vehicle at my home, belive me or not in the same condition as what i saw 4 days earlier!

I dont want to use the word frustration as already mentioned i had reached the height of the same.

I told them i cannot pay untill all my problems are rectified, for which the SE & the driver threatened of going to police and file a case against me. I guess nowadays one who does all wrong has got the right to go to police?

I told them do whatever they wanted to do, i cannot pay. After 2 days, their manager (Vaidhyanathan) called and promised that will take good care! of the vehicle and will deliver in proper condition.

Finally after 23 days of struggle, i was told to collect the vehicle on 04/04/2011 morning 9:00AM IST. When i went there found my vehicle in a unclean condition.Thought myself that i could clean it, but when i checked further, found that few more complaints were still not done. I waited for 4 hrs to finally get my hand on the vehicle. But, still the vehicle is having problem with AC, when i pointed it to their manager, he told me that it is a minor problem and he could do a service sometime later with discount.

Hope you all would have read till now.

To register my (donno what to put)..called up your feedback cell -- [protected] and told whatever i faced. That guy (Gaurav) promised me that the Area Manager / Service Manager from Mahindra will connect me within a days time to resolve the issue and gave me a complaint number KD05/0236. but as expected none reached me so far!

Would like to know,

Whether your Aim is to make Money alone?
Are you people becoming deaf & dumb once your vehicle is sold?
Is that you think that "what will happen if one is going to shout like this"?
Dont you want me to buy another Scorpio (i considered my proud to own one till this incident - Now will definitely wont think or recommend)
What is that action that will taken against the Dealer / SM for making one of your customer wait for 23days and finally delivering the vehicle with complaints unresolved?

Will doing service later with discount will solve the very basic motto of your Hamesha?

Would recommend you to remove your advertisement on "Hamesha" with so many good lines which your dealers never mind to follow.

i brought a logan last year and from then i am facing this problem of tyre whare n tear in almost 20000kms all four of my tyres are almost finished on the outer sides this problem is with front tyres only i have rotated the tyres on 10000kms as they were very much teard but after runing my car 10000kms more the new tyres from back also got teard n was in the same conditon and worst of all to stop this i did allignments for about ten times all were paid by me 5 were done in the mahindra authorised service station and rest five were done on private places and that i had to do just beacause the mahindra people themselves told me to do so as i was not getting any results by there allignments but no result allingment is very ok now car drives fine n study gives a mileage of about 20km/ltr on diesel in city conditons as well as on highway space in car is too gud very comfortable to drive n long drives good outside view engine strenght and power is also impressive the only problem i am facing with this car is of this tyre whare and tear which i think is a manufacturing defect as its not bien solved after so much of efforts and sum noices in the dashboard n doors and a hard power steering ...

Mahindra & Mahindra Not working properly

Dear Sir,

I purchased Mahindra Flyte bearing engine no. PIE BB 202729 & chasis no. PIF BB 202715 from City Automobiles Pathankot vide sale invoice no. 153 dated 19/3/09 in favour of R.U. Enterprises, Old Sabzi Mandi, Dhangu Road, Pathankot for my bussiness purpose as I am lady and as per your ads I find that this a good 2-wheeler with self start for city roads.

But last 2 months this flyte is not working properly as its self is not working properly and I have to engage someone to start it by using kick in market and I have send this vehicle four times in last week to your workshop situated at city automobiles.

But this flyte is not working today and lying unused at my residence.

You are requested to repaire it properly and satisfy me regarding its performance in next 4 days otherwise on coming Monday i.e., on 30th Nov. 09 I am submitting a letter regarding my complaint to consumer redresal form Pathankot.

Mahindra & Mahindra NON RECEIPT OF DUPLICATE KEY AT THE TIME OF VEHICLE DELIVERY

ON 30/07/2008 I had purchased one SUV of Mahindra Co (Bolero SLX) chassis no MA1PS2GAK82E37154 and engine no GA84E27124 from Industrial Farm Equipment G S Road Guwahati-5 Kamrup(Assam). At the time of delivering the vehicle, the dealer concerned handed over to me only one key of the vehicle, stating that only one key is being provided with each vehicle, so they are unable to hand over a second (duplicate) key to me. So, being a customer of a reputed company, I want to know, whether the company really provide only one key with each vehicle or provides a second key each with each vehicle which is not being handed over to me till date. I want this clarification at the most earliest for safety and security.

I am a Scorpio owner for the past 5 years and would like to tell others to think a number of times before purchasing a vehicle from Mahindra. High maintenance, Horrible after sales and expensive spares make it a nightmarish proposition. Mahindra service centres are like vultures, waiting for the carrion (vehicles) to come in. They'll make you lighter by a few ten thousands every time you approach them. And every time you get the vehicle back, there's a new problem that stings you. I have already shelled out a few lakhs in just 5 years of running. And I have done barely 40, 000 kms. All my parts have undergone surgery. My air-con unit has gone back and forth, twice. And I have already changed the entire unit (worth 25, 000 Rs). And I have always gone with genuine parts. Genuine?

thats not correct.
mahindra provides 2 keys (1key and 1 remote key).
they might have lost the key and to skip from the problems they are simply saying that company provides only one keys. the dealers of mahindra worst of all. they won't respond perfectly to the customer.

wanted to buy a mahindra jeep and wanted info. Went to the web site. Relevant page not opening. Went tocontact info. Called the number. Got voice recording that number had changed .Called that number togive feed back of website not opening and to tell them to update changed number. Operator transfereed me without listening. Phone kept ringing. No one picked up. Called again and told operator to hear me through. She did nt and started shouting at me.I told her not to shout and please listen to me. She didnt. Then I managed to get a number for HR. Mr. Manish picked up. gave me number of HR manager. Ria Balsara. he transferred me back to Sandra DSouza, operator.She laughed and asked me to try my luck at Kandivali office. I called Miss Ria, HR manager(?). she heard me through, said, she would take necessary action. I asked her to give me a number that would give info on buying a jeep. She gave me a number.I called the person. Mr. vaibhav Pagdare (?) informed me he was on leave and he was HR and he knew nothing about jeeps or sales and he knew no one whom I could contact regarding the same.I called back Ria. She gave me number of Suchita, head secretary. She was out for lunch. I called back Ria. She gave me Kandivali board number. Kandivali board did not pick up the phone. So I tried calling back Ria. She did not pick up the phone. So I called Ria from my wife's phone. She picked up the phone. She took my number and promised to call back as soon as she found out where a customer could buy a Mahindra jeep. She was aslo kind enough to inform me that this being the corporate office, she knew nothing about jeeps. So where do their wages come from? I as a customer hate being a nuisance in disturbing the officers of this 6 billion dollar conglomerate in their very busy schedule, but hey, I thought, I will just go out and buy a jeep. Anybody tell me an address? Mr. Mahindra? Where do I try my luck?

i brought scorpio on [protected], from sri durga automobiles 55, rama road, new delhi-110015, dealer code ;so11591. now am getting problem of overheat in this vechile scorpio, even i complained twice there but nobody had to come check my vechile i complained on 8-9-2009 .they said some meter problem when i went there and they said they vll change in few days but till no one has come almost 1 month finish it off . if u people vll give like this service to your customer then think who vll bel've on u and ur products its ur duty to satisfy ur customer am not happy with ur service n with this vechile . thanks alot for giving me this type of service. This is Very bad. You are a big company your activity is not satisfactory.

This is with reference to accidental repair of my Scorpio @ Sterling Motors Gurgaon, I would hereby like to inform you that in spite of spending huge amount of Rs. 2, 20, 000/-, my car is performing like a 10 - 15 year old vehicle. I am really pissed off because of the quality of the service.

The Vehicle was repaired under the supervision of a guy Prashant who I believe is a 100% incapable of handling even a small Job. In-spite of giving him 3 good chances he could not give me a quality service.

The Problems which are still there from day one of getting my vehicle after the repair.

1. Alignment issue - Vehicle turning right while applying breaks

2. Heavy vibration over & above speed of 70 km/hr.

3. Uncomfortable Ride

4. Noise of some part hitting the bottom of ground during heavy traffic congestion.

5. Rear Door Noise @ speed of 30 -40 km/hr. It seems there is a major issue in rear suspension.

6. Heavy Dust on Front Blower.

7. Heavy Noise of Blower on speed of 2, 3, 4

Pl. help in getting this thing resolved immediately.

Your kind attention is drawn to the above subject and I hereby place the following for your consideration.

1.The above mentioned Mahindra vehicle was purchased by the undersigned on 06.04.2017 from addressee No. 1 against payment of Rs. 10, 21, 688/-. In fact the undersigned was lured to purchase this vehicle on account of wide publicity made by the addressee No.2 on behalf of M/s Mahindra & Mahindra Limited with regard to the finance facility, quality and functioning of the vehicle as claimed by them.

2. That after delivery of the vehicle, the undersigned got the same registered with the Registration Authority at SAS Nagar, Mohali by spending requisite amount. Besides that the Insurance was also got done on payment of huge premium of Rs. 26, 597/- to the Insurance Company. The accessories were also got affixed against payment of huge amount with an intention to use the vehicle for personal purpose only.

3. That during the careful use and driving of vehicle after purchase, the undersigned took the same to M/s Goel Motors (P) Ltd, Mohali, addressee No. 3 for first service as per the schedule given in the booklet. While entering the premises some check engine light was noticed in the cluster meter and the same was brought immediately to the notice of Service Advisor/Engineer of addressee No. 3, who had accepted the vehicle for first service. The vehicle was attended to by one Mr. Rohit Bhalla, Service Advisor of addressee No. 3 who after undertaking all the requisite tests, observed and found that there was noise in the engine and finally concluded that there was manufacturing defect in the same. The addressee No. 3 however retained the vehicle for further check up by the Company Engineer likely to visit the workshop in the near future.

4. That on account of Deepawali and other important festivals the undersigned did not visit the addressee no. 3 but talked to their Service Engineers and others over telephone and advised them to get him the refund of entire value of the vehicle along with other expenses incurred by him but to no avail.

5. That now the vehicle is stationed in the premises of addressee no. 3 since 24.10.2017 and no call has been received from the above named addressees No. 1 to 3 with regard to the final check up by the Company Engineer and refund of the value of the vehicle to the undersigned. The manufacturing defect in such a high value vehicle is simply an unfair trade practice and deficiency on the part of the addresses No. 1 & 2.

You are hereby requested to please arrange to refund a sum of Rs. 10, 21, 688/- along with the Registration charges, the charges incurred for Insurance of the vehicle and other payments made by the undersigned towards affixation of accessories etc in the vehicle within seven days from the receipt of this letter otherwise I will be forced to approach the consumer court for the redressal of my complaint.

I m shambhu kumar from ranchi jharkhnd.I bought mahindra scorpio, model-Sle in the month of november 2008 a 7 months ago from NEXGEN dealer ship dhurwa Ranchi.four days before i had problem in the vehicle .vehicle was towed and brought to mahindra service centre where it was found clutch plate including pressure plate were badly worn out.it was big surprised for me as total distance run was only 11800 km at that time.
i tried to convince there at service centre as well as dealer that vehicle was being handled by experienced driver having experienc of 15 years but they kept blaming me for mishandling.it brings me great surprise of happening such thing for new vehicle.i was paid highly for new clutch assembly.i m sure all material associated with clutch plate and pressure plate were defective and put whole blame to manufacturer . i request to look into this matter .

We bought the 2009 Scorpio SLE brand new and all of a sudden there is a problem with the clutch plate. Very very dissatisfied . To make my experience worse, the shock absorber is also not tuned for light light (2 passenger load). When I asked the dealer they said to load the vehicle to 4-6 persons, unbelievable bull [censor]...

Mahindra & Mahindra Default Vehicle

I had purchased a Mahindra Scorpio VLS from G3 Motors, Nerul, Navi Mumbai on the 12th of June. I took the vehicle delivery with a defective starter motor. However, the same got rectified with a new starter motor on the next day by the dealership. ever since, my vehicle has been in and out of the G3 workshop on a weekly basis. The vehicle has hardly done 1200 kms. ( Mind you i got the vehicle delivered with the odo meter clocking 306 kms). that means i have not even run the vehicle for 1000 kms.

Last three weeks its been a harrowing experience with my NEW SCORPIO. After paying close to 10 lakhs for the new M Hawk Machine, it is proving to be a DUD Machine. The clutch of the vehicle has failed for the 5th time yesterday. This is despite the fact that each time it went to the dealership they had assured me that the problem has been sorted out completely. The last time it went to the workshop was on 28th June and i got the vehicle delivered to me at my house on 29th with a promise that the problem has been identified and rectified. But, to my dismay, the clutch gave up last night with my family in the car and stranded for help. It took almost an hour to gather my thoughts and get the damn vehicle moving and reach home.

I tried complaining to Mahindra and their response was someone will call me from the service dept. No one called me till now and i do not expect them to call me as well. The dealer ship people are on a high horse. They are least bothered about after sales and once the vehicle is sold their responsibility is over it this specific attitude piss me off. Fortunately, i understand the vehicle better than their service engineers. ( I am a test driver with one of the best known automotive companies in India).

I must also talk about some of the few good men in the dealership. They are genuine and wants to get my vehicle rectified. But they are not the one who are getting the vehicle done; so their knowledge about the mechanical parts of the vehicle is almost nil.

I am seriously planning to take Mahindra and G3 Motors to Consumer Court.

Sir,
I have purchased my dream vehicle SCORPIO M-HAWK on 13/3/10 fro m/s SRI MOHAN MOTORS, ROHTAK, HARYANA.
I was surprised to see the attitude / behavior of the concerned persons in the agency. I was delivered the vehicle with following defects :-
1. Electrical lead missing from under the dvr. Seat.
2. Remote for audio sterio missing.
3. No body at the agency new / not trained about the electronic sensors and equipments.
4. Alloy wheels having tool marks as the tyres were already changed with another vehicle.
5. Tool kit missing completely.
6. Manual for audio missing.
7. IF YOU CAN GIVE THE TYRE DETAILS FROM COMPANY I CAN ASSUR YOU THAT THE TYRES ARE ALSO CHANGED.
8. Last but not the least bill given was for 968000/- and the draft taken by my bankers was for 986000/-. Extended warranty of 2 years is 9999/- . where is my balance amount.
When asked for the above difects the reason given was :-
(SAAB KISI NE BADAL DIYA HOGA, DOOSRI VLX GAADI AAYEGI TO USKA NIKAAL KAR AAPKO DEDENGE)
Somebody must have change these items, we will give you these items when we will receive another VLX scorpio for sale.

To Mahindra Auto Team,
This is a very serious concern that I have regarding the delivery of vehicles and lack in transparency between Mahindra and TVS.

Earlier, last month, I had booked for the new Scorpio Vlx - D.White from the Cochin Showroom. Upon booking, the sales person (who I suppose is a reasonable person in this deal) enquired at Palaghat and assured delivery of the vehicle within 2-3 weeks. He mentioned that the vehicle would be ready, even before, but did not assure the same. But we were happy with the time 2-3 weeks. People usually plan things in advance based on the expectation. (In my family, we get a new car like say once in 10 years - just mentioned to tell you how much we learned about the vehicle and how much passionate we are about the vehicle that we get also mentioning how less experienced we are in dealing with Car dealers). I planned my leave accordingly and it got skipped twice now. And now, the Sales person mentions that he has got absolutely NO IDEA as to when the vehicle will be delivered. Doesn't that sound absurd? No complaints regarding the sales person, since he has not got the proper communication regarding how many vehicles will reach the yard and when he can promise the delivery.

Four people whom I know directly or not have cancelled their booking of the new Scorpio, just due to this delay. God knows how many more have cancelled it. You see, it's like telling a small kid that you will get him an ice cream while in the park, and keep delaying it. Finally when you get him at ice cream when he is back at home, he may even throw it back at your face.

I donot mean any personal offense to anybody, but I am sure that the system of delivery / your process of Transportation and Logistics of the vehicles is INCOMPLETE somewhere. Else, there would not be a case where Cochin office informed the Palaghat office that they had a requirement for 2 white Vlx vehicles and they instead get 2 black Sle vehicles. I came to know this, when the sales person told that " If it was a black Sle, they could have delivered".

You see, I am not telling that Scorpio is the complete SUV, but for the price, it's a good deal and that's why many people opt for the car. But if you try to compromise the service that the company giveswith the quality of the car, you could start loosing a lot of valuable customers, especially at this time when the competition is high. Again, I am not cancelling the deal anyway. But I know 1 person who booked for a D.White Scorpio, cancelled it due to the delay, booked a Pearl white Tata Safari and is riding it around in town as I write this. See, most people don't really know a lot about engineering and vehicles. You delay one masterpiece in engineering to them, they but another piece (may be not a masterpiece). After all it's their money and they choose. Please don't loose out customers like this, if you really care for the company.
There is an expectation set for such a customer when you see the vehicle in front. But, once you don't get the vehicle, this dies down. The Eagerness is killed and the Thrill is lost.1 unhappy customer means a lot of wasted business.

Being a well-wisher for the vehicle and the company, I request you to look into this issue, find out a solution and if necessary you may even contact me. I would be obliged to give you my views and possible solution, in case there is a problem.

I am Deepak Ranjan Sahu, from Angul, Orissa booked a Scorpio spl edition vide receipt No. 165 in the date 16.04.10 at Utkal Automobile Ltd. Bhubaneswar. As the sales manager committed me that i will get the vehicle on 17th May but he was wrong. Still I have not got the vehicle, but now the sales manager says you will get that after 25th May.

So it is only the waste of time . If I book a car for my continence and for the delay of the vehicle i am suffering, then why should I purchase the Vehicle. So this is the request letter for the Mahindra company to deliver my vehicle as soon as possible.

It has been almost two months now that I booked a Vlx model at TVS Trichur with a promise of delivery within two weeks. Now it is more than two months with no favourable reply from either the dealer or the company. Surprisingly the draft on loan amount has been passed and the first instalment due soon. Have even booked a fancy no. with the deadline of getting registered coming close. Mahindra has to improve a lot on customer care and open up with the custmers to keep in business... don't know what lies with its new venture Tech Mahindra...Hope it doesn't end up like Satyam!

Mahindra & Mahindra Sreering Wheel wobbling

The scorpio, which am driving now is my second scorpio. i bought my first scorpio in 2004 & bought new version of scorpio in the very first week of it's launch in 2005. Ever since i bought the new version i am facing a problem of wobbling of steering wheel starting [protected]@ 80 Kms. Every time at the time of servicing of the said vehicle, i lodge the said complaint at Bhasin Motors. it has been nearly 2 years but the problem of the wobbling of steering wheel has not been rectified. Am forced to take this complaint of mine to the consumer court.

It is a big deterrent factor for me to recommend Scorpio to anyone.

Mahindra & Mahindra Faulty engine parts!

I own a scorpio 2006 model no is DL3cas-1229. I am regularly making complaints about this from the first service when i purchased this vehicle. The problem is that the red light of engine comes while driving, which is highly unsafe because the engine stops while driving, no power steering works and no brakes which becomes very risky on highways and in traffic.

We have made complaints in all services but always they say that either you have used wrong diesel or you change the oil filter. They changed the oil filter 3 times in last 5000 kms, and that too at my cost but again the complaint is continuing!

Mahindra & Mahindra Poor manufacturing quality

I have purchased new scorpio last year it was third class vehicle rusting problem occur on first month. The rear wheel come out with axle while driving and there is fire in vehicle.

Very poor service from dealer sri durga automobiles. My friend advise me to go to consumer court agnst mnfr quality.

See this is what I suffer by owning a scorpio and expecting for a reasonable level of service standards.
I have not received my car as yet without any intimation from Bhasin Motors or Mahindra.

I also called up and texted (sms’ed) Mr, / Col. G. K. Singh (Works Manager at Bhasin Motors) at his mobile number @ [protected] but with no response.

I am really happy to own a performing car like Scorpio but real sad to see the pathetic response from the company and the dealership both on the service standards.

I am clueless on what to do now and since I have bought this car, anyhow I have to drive it for few years as I cannot afford to change car so soon within a year of its (so-called proud) purchase.

You can very well see that how it has taken my sleep away that I am bound to write mail at this odd hours at 2358 hours (mid-night).

I am really clueless.

I have no options but to use a commercial cab / taxi service to perform my daily chores. I will definitely look forward to the bill reimbursement.
(I am no more proud owner of my SCORPIO)

It has become a routine to me now.
Today I had given my scorpio for servicing and as usual (trademarked service standards) the below-mentioned pain areas:

- Despite giving clear cut instructions that the key should not be left in the car, it was left thrice and everytime the window beeding was taken out to open the door and take the key out. I am really very finicky about this (Sorry, if you are not and I beg to and happily would choose to differ) and if you can read this entire chain of communication in this very mail, you will understand this.

- During last servicing I had my wheel balancing and alignment done, on which I have complaints. Why in one single instance everything is done (though communicated always that it has been done perfectly : Blatant Lie)

- It has been a routine that whenever I give my car for servicing (always at authorised service station ie Bhasin Motors) just to ensure that I get the best for my car, I never get the best except for repeated calls, subsequent visits for corrective measures / complaints and taking unwanted pain and tensions on my head.

- I was told in the afternoon at around 3 pm that the car would be delivered to me latest by 5pm. And when I checked at 5pm I was told that it would reach me by 6.30pm and when again I checked out at 7pm after long wait, I was told that it would reach me by 8.30pm (Yet I have not received: time now 7.35pm
My concern on this is because of:
• I cannot thoroughly check at the time of taking delivery
• I cannot take a test drive and make out the things done of which I had complained
• I had plans for this Saturday evening which has gone awry

I am really serious about the way I always treated from a reputed brand (read Mahindra) authorised service centre. Leave aside all the jargons of customer satisfaction, it’s always a pain that I get by trusting so-called trusted Mahindra Partners.

I do not know whether I will get any response from you or not as the history itself has proved that, nothing happens on genuine customer concerns / feedback, and life goes on at Bhasin Motors: Definitely Bhasin Motors is not going to lose anything if an individual like me stops visiting them.

But this issue of genuine concern and customer satisfaction would always be questioned by such kind of pathetic response.

Let me accept that I have become hopeless and do not expect any radical changes from Bhasin Motors as it has never happened during my past relationship with them for almost a year, the day when I had purchased by car from them.

But yes, as a responsible citizen, I am sending a letter of complaints to national service head, national sales head with a copy to the chairman.

Finally after lots of persistent and follow-ups, the fog lamp kit was changed. Though it ate up my entire day standing at the Bhasin Motors, I was happy that long months of follow-ups brought some fruit (read response)...

But, you know what next ...?

Few days back, during a general check I found that again there was some water / dew inside the fog lamp.
Again I called up the Bhasin Motors, and was surprised with the response.

I was told that, the replacing fog lamp was from the same defective lot and I need to wait for another few weeks for getting the corrected fog lamps from Mahindra facility.

Is this how your customer services department run? Are we Mahindra Scorpio owners are supposed to take one day out every week do some thankless pastime sitting at the dealership / service centre?
It would have been better if they could have told me that the fog lamps which they are replacing are from the same defective lot and it’s better to wait for few more days than to be happy and kill some of our precious time?
Really ridiculous !

Apart from this, I have few other complaints and concerns, viz (and these are either out of the same long pending list or created every time the car visits the service centre):

- Problem in the back door (fifth one) locking system. It’s not working and I have checked with Nippon whose guy after inspecting said that the switch which has the problem is supplied by Mahindra and it’s the service centre, which would get it corrected. When I contacted service centre they said that it’s the security system supplier problem..
So, the problem still hangs in between without any solution

- After months’ of follow-ups on the gear shift problem, finally I got a call from Bhasin Motors that they have got the gear set from Mahindra and I should send my Scorpio to get it fitted. After sending it and waiting for one full day., in late evening I was told that there was no need for changing as they have done some adjustment and it should not give me any further problem. It’s fine, if the problem is corrected but the bigger issue is the information gap... I should have told about this earlier itself and not at the time of taking delivery. I am also told that I need to drive for next 5k kilometres and if in case I face some problem then again they would call my call for changing the gear kit...
Now this has made me insecure in terms of the health of my engine and the overall performance and I drive with a sense of in-security not with the confidence which I used to have previously.. Is, there anyone who can understand this ordeal of a consumer, please...?

- After coming from the service station (after 5 th service), I don’t know what has been done to my gear lock lever, it’s not locking up. Perhaps, at the service station, someone has moulded it for whatever checking / correction and did not put it in the previous alignment.
This talks about the carelessness and the apathy the customer services have...
The entire dashboard and the gear cabinet had marks of grease which is not expected from the authorised service professional. They act as if local road side village mechanics who neither understand the meaning of customer services and hygiene or are demanded the same.

- After long follow-ups on phone, e-mails and personal meetings (with you Mr. Raghav too), I got the membership card of “Top Gear” but again as usual, how could it be satisfying the correct...
The name on the card is wrong / mis-spelt
The key chain received with that is rusted
----- Should I again start doing follow-ups for name correction after months of follow-ups for the membership card?

- Even after repeated reminders / instructions (had gone to the extent of taking pain of writing it in bold letters on the service request) for not leaving the key inside the car, it was left inside thrice in one single day and every time some “engineering” was done replacing window beeds, pulling out the window glass (which has not lots of scratches on it) to get the car opened. The door has become hard now with many scratches on the window and the side door.

There might be thousands of people who do not mind couple of scratches or whether the door is hard or is working properly, but I am a bit different. I love my Scorpio and hate people playing with it ruthlessly at the service centre. Their job is to take proper care, attention to details and keep the consumer happy and satisfied (of which I never get any feel)

So far, I was of the view that, the car is pretty safe if I lock it, now my confidence in it’s security system / mechanism has completely shaken. I have already lost one brand new car and don’t want to take any chances again. Need some explanation on this from the customer services department of Mahindra (and not Bhasis Motors).

Every time I give my car to service centre, I get some new surprise in terms of some hanging wire somewhere, the lost fixtures like car perfume and idol on dashboard etc.

Is there any redressal to these teething problems or do I need to live with it, just because now I have bought the car..?

My other concerns and requests are:

1. Top Gear Membership
2. Bad service quality at Bhasin Motors. Since beginning (till now ie 4th service @ 20k kms) I have been serviced by Bhasin Motors itself, but petty problems like;
2.1 Not explaining the work done
2.2 Bad cleaning job
2.3 Despite reminders for past 15k kms, no heed on the wind shield cleaning which has got few small spots
2.4 Mal-functioning (or requires a better explanation) of Turbo functioning
2.5 Un-educated and not-concerned service staff
2.6 Everytime I complaint of something it has been trend that though that particular problem has been solved but something else related crops up.. This talks about the carelessness of the staff regarding quality service standards

Request you to look into this and resolve.

I have purchased my dream vehicle SCORPIO M-HAWK on 13/3/10 fro m/s SRI MOHAN MOTORS, ROHTAK, HARYANA.
I was surprised to see the attitude / behavior of the concerned persons in the agency. I was delivered the vehicle with following defects :-
1. Electrical lead missing from under the dvr. Seat.
2. Remote for audio sterio missing.
3. No body at the agency new / not trained about the electronic sensors and equipments.
4. Alloy wheels having tool marks as the tyres were already changed with another vehicle.
5. Tool kit missing completely.
6. Manual for audio missing.
7. IF YOU CAN GIVE THE TYRE DETAILS FROM COMPANY I CAN ASSUR YOU THAT THE TYRES ARE ALSO CHANGED.
8. Last but not the least bill given was for 968000/- and the draft taken by my bankers was for 986000/-. Extended warranty of 2 years is 9999/- . where is my balance amount.
When asked for the above difects the reason given was :-
(SAAB KISI NE BADAL DIYA HOGA, DOOSRI VLX GAADI AAYEGI TO USKA NIKAAL KAR AAPKO DEDENGE)
Somebody must have change these items, we will give you these items when we will receive another VLX scorpio for sale.

I am based at chennai, Tamilnadu.I have purchased my new mahindra scorpio vlx, white dated 30/10/08 from M.P.L> Automobiles Agency Private Limited, Ampa Manor, 107/1, NelsonManickam Road, Chennai-6000029 . My invoice number is MUV/20307/08-09.

Initially when i visited the car in the showroom, i noticed that the sticker on the car was peel-off at the front right& was not pasted properly.When i asked the manager in MPL Motors, chennai-29 regarding this problem, he accepted the problem &had written the problem in the carbon sheetof the delivery challanwith the ink pen.He also gave a word that they will change the stickers after they get from thane, Maharastra.

within a week from the date of purchase, i went to MPL Motors at 6.30pm with a problem that the image in the reverse sensor mirror appears doubly.The service advisor v.rajesh mobile no:[protected] at MPL Motors inspected the car along with one of their car technician. he also noticed the same problem and he conveyed the problem to the manager at MPL Motors. The manager himself have accepted the problem, but he is not giving it in the written form & also did not take any speedy steps to solve my problems yet.Due to this manufacturing defect, my driver while taking reverse in my car hit a santro behind.A case was also filed in Thirumangalam police station for the same.I have proof for that. i have given a compensation for the santro owner.

Till date my sticker problem & reverse sensor mirror image problem is not yet solved.Also i have no proper response from the MPL Motors. Also they are not giving it in the written form.

My experience with your MPL Motors authorised dealers is very poor.I have invested 11 lacs for my scorpio. I suffered a lot while driving with this reverse sensor mirrror image problems due to which i had a police station experience. so I kindly request you to take immediate action for my problems.

I need my problems to be rectified immediately& also i need it in written form from your MPL Motors authorised dealer. I need a compensation for which i paid at the police station& also for my mental pressure&for the wastage of my time.
Also i have filed a petition regarding the same at consumer court.

I totally agree.

In my case after having gone thru the pain of purchasing a vehicle with out accessories from Mahindra, wherein the dealers force you to buy vehicles with acessories (priced x 2 times of market).
I am now a proud owner this vehicle A SCORPIO with the much acclaimed Tommahawk Engine that just six months and not yet in second service making groaning sounds on clutching.

To top all this, right on the higway this "groaning" clutch collapsed.

Two days, several calls to their helpline where no one picks the phone, I am being told that that this is a manufacturing defect and that it will sorted out, but I need to pay towing charges from West Delhi to NOIDA.

Mahindra & Mahindra You're not married and hence not eligible

I'm staying in Bangalore and recently visited the furniture showroom exhibit (by Yatra exhibit) in the Kanteerava indoor stadium. I was asked to fill in my name and number for some lucky draw in which I was selected as one of the winners (one for kitchen set and the other for some vacation). A lady on behalf of Mahindra vacations calls from +[protected] and starts the usual gibberish and when I informed her that I was not allowed to collect the kitchen set as I'm single (which is absurd because the Yatra thinks that single people do not cook), she confirms that I'm not eligible for the vacation too as I am not married. Why do these ###s ask us to participate in these draws in the first place.

I have submitted my car to mahindra showroom at 31 May 2023 for co driver side door damage work. For these work hardly required 4-5 working days after 21 days work is no completed the service from insurance side and aslo from Mahindra showroom side very bad. Too much time required. Unhappy for the service.

Paid for a new Mahindra Roxor in advance, dealer said we will get Mahindra rebate advertised on TV after purchase. Dealer wrote into our contract before it being delivered to us that rebate was included in the selling price.. FRAUD

Members complain of resort unavailability during peak seasons, and a waiting period for some of their resort destinations. There has also been charges of excess profiteering, not providing enough services to members etc. There are around 70 cases pending in various consumer courts and one criminal case against Club Mahindra for cheating.
Club Mahindra is a Cheater. They just trap customers with false promises.
How do they cheat?
1. Their representatives will ask you to fill-up a coupon with your address and phone number.
2. They will call everyone telling him he is a winer in the lucky draw and ask him to collect a free holiday package from their office.
3. If you go there, they will talk about(all are lies) some aluring offers/ packages with Rs. [protected]. They will ask you to provide one account / card number for this payment. They will also ask you sign on a document for this offer. Now you are trapped!.
4. You actually signed on their membership form with a membership amount of 3-4 lacs. EMIs will be charged to you (you already have authorised them by signing the document and disclosing you card/ account number).
5. You will come to know about this fraud after 1-2 months after recieving the wellcome kit.
6. Now the 2nd phase of the trap: If you go for the cancellation, they will tell you as per rule you have to cancel your membership within 10 days after applying the membership. But you can only know that you have been cheated after 1-2 months of applying the membership.
7. Now the harasment and pain. You will do lot of follow-ups, but you will not get the money back easily.
Please spread this awareness and don't get into the trap of Club Mahindra! Don't even fill-up the coupon.

I am staying in pune. A few days ago I had visited Premier Plaza in Chinchwad, pune and some Club Mahindra guy approached me with a small form to be filled for a lucky draw. Today I got a call from a lady at Club Mahindra that my name got selected through the lucky draw. She asked me whether I am married even though I had clearly check marked the Unmarried field in the form. Then why is there a reason to call me n tell me about the holiday and also tell me taht i am not eligible for the holiday because i am unmarried? I am anyways going to getmarried on next month 15th. I told them the same and I can use it as a honeymoon pakage, whihc would be a remarkable gift from club Mahindra to me! The lady's response was pale and she just hung-up the ph saying she ll come back after speaking to her manager, whihc I am sure she would never.
