Maharastra State Electricity Board is the worst Electricity Board ever. This could easily be an understatement. I am a resident of Vasai, Evershine City, which is one of the better populated & well maintained townships in Vasai (E). Though Vasai has come a long way in terms of infrastructure because of which the population has increased rapidly in the past few years, the Electricity here is still a cause of concern.
MSEB, without fail cuts electricity for 5 hours each day i.e. 35 hrs a week, not to mention the unaccounted times when there is no electricity for 30mins to 2 hrs during the day or night which has absolutely no fixed time. This issue has been prevailing for the past so many years & its getting worst each year.
The load shedding, as it is termed, is causing so much of inconvenience to the residence of this part of the city. Not every one can afford expensive equipment like the investors. The shopkeepers also suffer due losses because of these power cuts.
Innumerable complaints, mochas, etc have been made, but it looks like it all falls into deaf ears of MSEB. There has to be a limit to these load shedding. If there is shortage of electricity, then why only this part of the city suffers? There are no powers cuts in Mumbai limits. Its so unfair cause we do not even have a choice. MSEB is all we have.
So many people have migrated to this part of the city because the development it’s shown in the past few years, thanks to the reputed builders who have had their projects here. But in spite of all this, it feels like living in some rural part of the country where electricity is such an issue. A family cannot even enjoy a weekend because MSEB does not even spare Saturdays & Sundays for their load shedding escapade.
This needs to stop. It’s absolutely unfair to people who live here because this is not the lifestyle they expected when they moved in here. Electricity is a necessity not a luxury & this is not asking for more. MSEB is answerable to the 35 to 40 hrs a week load shedding. We too deserve to live a peaceful life here without any inconvenience caused to our children due to these load shedding.
what for helpno like :[protected](nalasopara) is worthful if they are rude and ask yourself to come to office and run after engineer for a complain...it is better to switch to private electricity board like reliance ...Govt. should teach them they are there to help us ...
Really MSEB board is worst it sucks ...in fact if i want to give complain also they don't response properly and the way they talk is very very rude specially for nalasopara area...
EVERYBODY IN VASAI IS DOING BUISNESS ITS WHO IS SUPPORTING THEM, IS IT YOU WE OR I IS TO BE THOUGHT ABOUT BECOMEING SMARTER WILL CHANGE EVERY THING AND ITS YOU WHO CAN DO IT SO THE QUICKER YOU START THE BIGGER IT BECOMES.
PEOPLE IN VASAI NEED TO UNDERSTAND THAT ITS NOT A MINISTER OR AS A PERSON, ITS JUST A HUMAN ERROR, YOU AS THE RESEDENCE OF VASAI CAN DO IT ALL IT NEEDS IS A GOOD LOOK AS TO WHAT YOU NEED, AND THE ANSWER IS IN FRONT OF YOU. NOTHING IS DIFFICULT COME TOGETHER AND THINGS WILL CHANGE. WE NEED IS A VERY HIGH EDUCATED PEOPLE IN THE STATE MINISTERY AND YOU DICIDE YOUR FAITH BY VOTING THE WRONG PERSON ON A RESPONCIBLE POSTS, SO THINK SMART AND MOVE SMARTLY AND YOU WILL ACHIEVE WHAT YOU ARE LOOKING FOR .
PEOPLE STAYING IN VASAI NEED TO THINK IN A SMARTER WAY, YOU PAY YOUR TAXES SO WHERE IS ALL YOUR TAX MONEY GOING WHO IS ENJOYING IS IT YOU OR THE POLITICANS SO WHAT YOU NEED TO DO [THINK SMART AND YOU WILL HAVE THE ANSWER] .THE MONEY YOU PAY EVERY MONTH ON YOUR ELECTRIC BILL, PEOPLE DONT PAY HALF OF IT IN THE U.S. OR COUNTRY OUTSIDE INDIA SO WHY WE PAY THAT KIND OF MONEY WHO IS USEING YOU IS TO BE THINK ABOUT.THINK ABOUT YOUR COMMING GENERATION AND NOT YOUR SELVE IF EVERY BODY THINKS IN THIS WAY YOU CAN CHANGE VASAI IN LESS THAN A YEAR.THE WORLD OUT SIDE INDIA HAS CHANGED BUR VASAI CAN IF YOU WANT.
yes its an worst board . iam also one of it bcz my father workd in this board.unfortunatele he expired in october 2000. til now they are not giving family pension and the work for me through compensation ground. now 10 years completed. now iam sufferring alot by this board full amount is not paid to me .they are not responding . the mediators asking money to join in a job .iam so poor now . so its difficult anybody want to help plz contactme Iam an graduate engineer.

None of the MSEB employees should be their Salary for the next 10 years and the money should be utilized to upgrade production and distribution. Neither should the concerned ministers be paid a salary or anything else for sitting on their backsides in AC offices and doing nothing. These Ministers have made MAH into BIHAR.
We have 8 hrs of load shedding in Nasik and these ### ministers crow about a 'Shining India' and 'Progressive India'.
Why dont these Ministers, MLAs, MPs, of all parties try - including the Congress, NCP, SS, MNS, BJP and work without electricity and ACs for a change and see what the public has to go through every day.
Corrupt Ministers and Officers will destroy MAHARASHTRA and will soon will have to be renamed as RISHVATRASHTRA.

As we all are suffering from continuous power cuts, we always blame the authorities and we should, but we should also take 50% blame on our self because we are the one who waste lots of energy when we have it and afterward blackout. Those who think that its a tactics of politicians to generate business for inverter makers, I don't think so it is, because there are places in thane district where there is hardly electricity for an hour or two and I never found any Inverter shop over there. Instead of blaming, I think we should suggest some measures and also prevent wastage of power.
I think we should opt for Solar Inverters as its Eco friendly and would reduce the load on current electricity.
There are many ways to generate electricity and we need to find out them.
As you know Inventions are always backed with necessities.
School and Colleges can ask their students to prepare projects to generate electricity, instead of asking them to make lanterns, clay work or craft work etc...May be their projects would be more capable then what exist today.
This is an opportunity for us to become innovative and make new inventions.
Come on 'Vasaikars' don't get so depressed because we are still in good condition then those who are in other districts of Maharashtra.

People facing a lot of problem because of the electricity, I want sugget one thing u switch off all the street light, hoarding lights and hotel lightings a lot of save electricity. Company/factory migreting to other state plz sole the electricity problem very soon.

MSEB servoce is totally worse. Because of this load shedding people suffering lot of problem. Any time, day or night power gets off. There is no limit of load shedding. We are totally fed up with this load shedding …MSEB should make a proper plan, or time table for load shedding. since two days before regularly ther is no power in night time Why should we /people suffer all this. … kindly I am requesting you to please do proper supply of electricity in Nallasopara (W)
I THINK EARLIER IN VASAI THERE WAS WATER PROBLEM WHICH WAS CREATED TO PLEASE THE TANKER LOBBY NOW THEY HAVE CREATED ANOTHER PROBLEM THAT IS THE ELECTRICITY SHORTAGE IN VASAI JUST TO PLEASE THE INVERTER PEOPLE.
ALL THESE CREATED BY THE LOCAL POLITICIANS.
STUDENTS CAN'T STUDY PROPERLY... HOUSE WIFE'S CAN'T GET FREE TIME OR RELAX... THE WORKING PEOPLE CAN'T REST DURING OFF DAYS... CANNOT OPERATE THE COMPUTER, WATCH SPORTS N MANY UNWANTED PROBLEMS CREATED BY THESE USELESS POLITICIANS
INDIA HAS GOT FREEDOM MORE THAN 50 YRS AND TILL NOW THEY CANNOT PROVIDE THE BASIC AMENITIES LIKE WATER, ELECTRICITY OR PROPER ROADS. I THINK IT WOULD HAVE BEEN MUCH BETTER BEING UNDER THE BRITISHERS. ATLEAST, WE WOULD HAVE GOT GOOD AMENITIES, BETTER QUALITY PRODUCTS AND CITY WOULD HAVE BEEN WELL PLANNED & GROWN FAR AHEAD.
IN THE NAME OF FREEDOM THESE POLITICIANS ARE RUINING THE COUNTRY.
In kalyan MSEB cuts power for 7 to 8 hours. What is your reaction .
Now from Oct 07 2007 they are cutting power daily for 7 to 7.5 Hours.
Why dont they stop supplying electricity to Tata or reliance (If they are doing so) why we should suffer.
Why we should suffer to light up other areas in BOMBAY .
I am fully agree with this complaint. Now the government should seriously focus on this issue and take some immediate steps to resolve this big problem.
