Magellan 800 / Lousy customer service

I have been waiting for 2 years for an update for the dated software in my Magellan 800. They keep telling me it is coming but never comes. When I call, I end up in India and they just keep repeating that it is coming even when I ask for a specific date. You can't seem to reach anyone with Magellan who gives a dam. So, the 800 goes under the front right tire of my car on film, given to the local stations with the story and Garmin gets another new customer. Magellan sucks!!!!

Magellan cannot seem to supply parts for their GPS systems. various parts are evidently in existence by without a part number. EG: the part thatholds the GPS monitor to the "goosneck" suction cup seems to have disappeared into the mist.

I would NOT buy another Megellan GPS !

The people in India cannot speak English coherently as their accent is very pronounced. I speak four languages. Cannot understand their English.
