I cannot login to my account, want a refund
On the 6th May 2018 I transferred R399, 99 from South Africa to Mad bid. My user name is NixJay01 and an sms was sent to reset password which no longer works. I have logged in previously but never seem to win a bid and far too time consuming. I also tried to purchase something and the system keeps asking for my card details when I have points I want to get rid of. There are no good deals on and I found this looks like a scam as for a month my money is sitting there and I cant use it. There is no direct emails to send through a complaint. I would like a refund.

I want to request a refund from madbid as the auction website seems fraudlent.
There is no link to request a refund or to log a enquiry. When a link is followed to support it seems as if i must create a separate account to log an enquiry. This website creates a lot of redtape one must pass through and when i try to create an account to log an enquiry it says i am not "authorized" to do so.
These people are crooks
There is no link to follow on the website to request a refund, the auction website seems fraudulent. When trying to log an enquiry you get redirected to a different website and a separate account needs to be created (which I could not do as it said I am not authorized to do so) they create a lot of red tape for a simple refund of a service/product that I no longer want.
unauthorized credit card charges
Under the Consumer Rights Act 2015, consumers may be entitled to a refund, replacement, repair and/or compensation where goods are faulty or not as described. On December 22nd yMadBid did not inform me the terms of use when they charged my credit card for 112$USD. That was no legal under Consumer Right Act 2015.
So, I am in my right to ask the 112$ USD to be refund

And oh, don't trust their good reviews, they all are fake. I have never met happy people who dealt with madbid. All of them are extremely disappointed.

account cancellation
I have used this www.madbid.com website in the past but was very disappointed with their service and decided to cancel my account. Contacted their customer support via email and they asked me to call them. So I called MadBid and their rep said they cancelled my account.
But several days later I received some messages and spam from MadBid. I contacted them again and spoke to another person who claimed my account was cancelled. So then I asked why were these spam messages coming to my mail and their rep asked me to wait and put me on hold and then disconnected. Total scam!

impossible to win anything
Before using MadBid I checked the reviews and people said that it was a great place where you can easily win. I decided to try and made some bids. I wasted a lot of time on MadBid and never actually won anything. Do not believe any positive reviews you see about MadBid, you will only lose your money and never win anything. Well, I'm sure there actually were people who won, but it's not that easy here.
There are much better sites if you are interested in auctions.
this company took money if you haven't won
I have registered on the website www.madbid.com. I thought that I would start to win something, but it was mistake. Each time I placed bids and even if I didn’t win, I lost money. After some time I noticed that the names of the sellers and names of the winners, who won the bid, all the time repeated. It was strange for me. I lost all my money, which I deposited and haven’t won at all.

I was really disappointed, when I found out that they started to take money from my account without my permission. A joke, an unfunny one at that. If you spend a little time examining their "system" you can soon see how they can manage to auction items at up to 90% off their RRP. It's next to impossible to actually successfully obtain an item and the window between when an auction officially ends and will not accept more bids is to me dubious at best. Avoid.

It's a big scam ! caution
They get money every day from the card without the owner's approval and if you try to delete the account it is not possible until you have to cancel the card
All my credits were used up by an automatic bidding setup that i did not initiate. My complaints to Madbid were answered in an arrogant manner even though I assured them that I did not use automatic bidding ever.
Their system is totally programmed.we dont know whos the real bidder.maybe it is programmed computer.totally fraud
I have recently logged onto the madbid gambling site (In my opinion "definitely not an auction site") to observe the auctions in progress. What I found strange is when the auction goes into "CHECKING MODE" and you think well it looks like the auction is coming to an end finally there is a winner but then it seems as there is an autobot that places another bid therefore prolonging the auction. In the end there might be a winner or maybe there is an autobot placing the winning bid on behalf of madbid and nobody wins the auction. In this case madbid takes millions of the bidders money and maybe now and then gives away an item. After observing a few of the madbid auctions my opinion is that their bidding system is rigged with an autobot winning the auctions in their favour.
People be cautious when visiting auction sites, do some research and look at publics comments about these various auction sites do not be too hasty and dive into something that might "lagally scam you from your hard earned money".
In my opinion this site is a scam site. People stay away from this site you will loose all your money.
MadBid is one of the biggest illegal scams on the net. You don't bi, you just pay and pay for nothing, in the end a robot gets the item and your money is gone. How can you place a bid on something and then they take your money without you getting the item ?
Big big scam this.
I lost 340 euro's in 1 hour, i bidded on 7 items in one time, because i didn.t understand the system, i tought I was just losing a few credits.
so I stopped, 6 items, next day i was broke, 1 credit left and no wins. And 340 euro's from my account.
This is not a ordanary Marketplace, its a gamblingplace, I do not gamble more than 5 euro's a year, and suddenly 340 euro's.
so to make this up to myself and my wife, I said, ok we are never going to Holland Casino, i made a mistake, and lets just pretend i went wild and i lost this money on a one time out in the casino( an never go back again)
But still I think paypall has to give a warning, its legal ok, but its not ethical, I Thougt my money was inshured for bought items, but at MADBID it isn't.
