Luxor Home Furnishings / Will not refund money even though wrong furniture delivered
Business delivered wrong dining room table beginning of August. I was not home to confirm if it was the right one - my husband signed for the no damages, but informed driver that he could not verify if it was the right table. I have been waiting for delivery of correct table and on Sep 2nd I was informed that the shipment has been delayed until end of Sept. I told them I was not willing to wait that long (originally purchased on Jul 4/08 from their Guildford, Surrey store) and would like them to pick up the table and refund my money. They told me that I have a table so there will be no refund. They do NOT return phone calls or let me speak to the owner even though I have requested this several times. They were supposed to call me when they received the September shipment. It's now Oct 8th and I haven't heard from them. I've contacted the BBB in my area to find out I'm the 10th complaint since Feb 2008 and of the 10 complaints, only one has been resolved. My BBB file is now closed as the company did not respond to the BBB inquiry.
