Luminess Air fraud stealing from account

I was suppose to have 30 day free trial but they stole $59.00 from my account before the 30 days was up, I did not like and was going to return. July they sent me a small package of make-up and charged me $35.06. They charged me for two more packages one in August and just now in September. I did not receive anything, they just stole my money. Customer service refuses to answer their phones. A class action lawsuit needs to be filed and these people need to go to jail for theft.

Number one I LOVE my Luminesse Airbrushed makeup and they are NOT lying if you pay attention to the information presented in the infomercial. They send it to you and tell you they will start billing you but IF you call within the 30 days, it's your job to call them to get the return info and they WILL credit you back all money auto billed to your bank account. If you like it then you pay auto billed for 5 more monthly payments and it's yours paid in full. Their makeup is hypoallergenic not full of harsh chemicals that damage your face like the ones you buy at Walgreens or even Macy's. Your hands aren't touching your face, the makeup is water based and you're not having breakouts from dirty brushes that harbor germs. Makeup artists in Hollywood use airbrushing all the time. Luminesse truly does make a huge difference in the appearance of my skin. Owned one year and haven't had a breakout yet. Customer Service is great. If there is a problem they will even send out another product to try if the color is wrong when you receive it. And the reason you are getting billed monthly for makeup is because like other companies you have to call and tell them you don't want to be in the makeup club they have that auto ships you your makeup every month. I did and it wasn't any trouble at all. The only thing I think they need to do is check with their labeling of products in the warehouse as I have received colors of eye shadow that weren't the same as online. They are looking into that now because I as a pleased customer called to report that and they replaced my products free of charge as I'd already paid for them. So thank you Luminesse for being a great company who truly cares about making women beautiful 💖🌸Michelle B.

Luminess Air used once and experienced an immediate adverse reaction

Luminess Air thieves

This is a scam. They send you a product and then start billing you monthly. I never even got to open my package due to vacationing and when I saw the chemical ridden makeup I called to send it back and they refused and continue to charge my card. I have an unopened package and their public relations person absolutley refuses to refund any of my money. These make sprays are full o toxic chemicals used whenm peopl die and need to look good. To put this on my face would destroy my skin. They are not budging. DON NOT ORDER THIS! Airbrush system until you are dead.

If it seems like a great deal it is not! They trick you in to paying 20 dollars and they start charging you $59. almost immediately and you can't get them to stop. When i figured out what was on my amex bill and called their cust service, I asked if i could return the unused tool and they refused, so i called American Express. I am still fighting this 2 months later and they are sending harassing emails threatening to charge interest, since i blocked them on my Amex. Very frustrated and disgusted. I never got to try the product or machine due the ongoing battle and now don't even want to, because i so angry with their business practice and lack of real customer service!

They have a RETURN POLICY and 30-DAY MONEY BACK GUARANTEE POLICY... Did you follow the instructions for return and do it within 30 days?

Luminess Air return

I order the product, tried it and it was horrible. Everything they said it wouldn't do, it did and then some. They kept my card on file and took payments out even after it had been returned! I returned it within 30 days, called them they said I would have to send it back on my dime! I returned it, and they still continued to hit my bank account after I returned it! I had to literally cancel my card and get another one to make it stop. Now they have it in collections for over 300 dollars! They are stating I needed a return authorization! I called in and was told I had to pay for it which I did and sent the product back! I never got a return authorization number, I was never given one, so how the heck can I have it! Why do you need to be authorized to return a product? It doesn't work, it was a "warranty" given ad! Now I have no product (Which it didn't work anyway), was billed out of my account over 150 dollars, and they are hitting me for collections for 300 dollars! I am fighting against it on my credit report, they called and was extremely rude, talking over me not letting me talk at all, and was stating that because I didn't have an authorization number (Mind you I was never given one) I owe them! To say scam is an understatement! Do not buy this product!

Luminess Air shipped wrong items

I ordered Luiminess Air product plus the beauty package and professional air brush...but what I got was extra colors of the african american shades and a second cheap air brush ...still have yet to get my professional air brush and today I got more colors and did not sign up for their monthly club but think im being charged for it anyway.I feel duped on this one and will get to the bottom of the monthly club charge that i didnt not take ask to take part in

You have to contact the company to stop the auto beauty club shipments and tell customer service about the wrong colors being sent and they will replace them. Check your bank statement for the pro model you have to pay the 29.95 trial. Hope that helps. 🌸

my family. When I returned home, I called the company to obtain an RMA, only to be told that there was no 60-day trial available & that no returns were accepted whatsoever after 30 days! Luminess Air charged but did not receive product

I ordered Luminess product was charged but never received the shipment so I canceled because I had ordered it for my sisters wedding. I received a box of ? and was charged again for supplies for the machine I have not received. I sent the box back returned to sender . I have been charged 3 possibly 4 times and I want those charges refunded back to me. Luminess Air unauthorized charges

About 2 months ago I called Luminess Air to purchase a product for $26.99. While ordering my phone dropped the call twice. Every time I called back I told the operator to make sure I was not being double billed. I was gauranteed that I would not be. I received my bank statement and there were 3 charges. I called Luminess Air 6 times and was told that I was not charged 3 times. They finally found that I was charged 3 times. I received 2 boxes and one was sent back because of address error. I called again and they said that they would refund me the one that was sent back to them only. They gave me a return Authorization number to return the other 2. I cancelled the order and was told that there would be no other charges. I had to pay for shipping and return. And insurance. Today on my bank statement there is another charge for $59.99. I still had to pay for 2 unopend boxes and now another $59.99. I am on Social Security and was buying these for my daughters birthday. They dont care. So now I am back to arguing with them on this other charge. So now I have paid $120.00 for no products, Insurance and postage to return 2 products (20.00) and nothing I can do. I wish there was someone to help me. Al I can say is be very carefull when ordering from Luminess Air.

I did not authorize charges on my credit card other than the initial $24.95 and that was promised to be charged ONLY after my trial period. I withdrew within the allotted time, sent product back unopened and now see two $2.95 charges, 2 $19.99 charges plus $5 and also $84.90 all transacted in the month of August, 2015! ALL unauthorized. ALL reported to my credit card company plus to Better Business.

Luminess Air scam

I purchased their Airbrush Makeup System 2 months ago. I upgraded to the "Pro" system. I paid 34.00 and agreed to the monthly payments and the monthly makeup club subscription. I paid for the system via my Wells Fargo Account. And, have been charged for the system for the past 2 months with no issues. The other day while checking my other bank account M&T bank... I noticed a charge of 89.99 from Luminess Air. I couldn't believe it. Luminess Air does not know my M&T debit card information. Nor, were they authorized to use my M&T debit card! What a complete SCAM! How exactly did they get my debit card information from my other bank account? Luckily, my bank canceled my debit card and when it clears monday (from pending status), my bank is going to refund my money. Do not deal with Luminess Air. If you are going to get the system.. Pay for it in full first. I will tell EVERYONE I know (and, don't know) about this. People need to be aware that they looking up their customers other bank information's to charge their accounts.

Luminess Air dont work

Never got to use the system at all... Nope not even once... It don't work continually sprays before you even pull the lever so make up would go everywhere as soon as you would try and put the make up in it as far as im concerned its only good for a donation at the local salvation army so save your money it is a bull # co telling everyboby I know bcs word of mouth can break a company[[[[[[[[[[[[[[[[[[[[[[[[[[[[[[[[[[[[[[[[[[[ luminess air is a joke ]]]]]]]]]]]]]]]]]]]]]]]]]]]]]]]]]]]]]]]]]]]]]]]

I understand your frustration, but, the website has some good videos on how to take apart your stylus and put it back together. The above advice is very helpful for you. I had trouble the first time my stylus was clogged and I had to do the whole "disassemble thing". I called customer service and the representative patiently walked me through the problems...step by step. It really is a great product and I hope you find success with it.

Luminess Air fraud! scam!

Do not buy this product! It's a rip off. They make it sound as though you get the machine for free and only charge you for the makeup. At least that was my special. However, they charge 5 payments at $69 plus $29 a month for the makeup. They machine is a basic fan. value of $20 maybe. not $350! You can not cancel. There is no refund. And they say if you don't pay, they will report to collections. Fraud! Horrible company that needs to be shut down.

We need to call the better business bureau on these people...I just ordered this product because I saw that damn infomercial and thought $19.95 was such a great deal...NO...it's been a week since I bought it have not received it yet and looked at my debit card statement and they have charged me $59.99...I was sooooo livid, I called to talk to someone and she said it was a deposit, , , I told her I wanted my money refunded to me and she said they couldn't refund it until I send back the package...this is a SCAM do not buy this thing they will rip you off...

I got the same thing, however, I did read my agreement and it plainly stated that to receive the discount on new supplies you had to agree to allow them to send you a new supply every month. Solution: to keep your prices low...request that you only get sent a new supply...say...every 6 months. It has worked great for me and BTW the mascara is some of the best I have EVER used and I have been using mascara for 40 years!

Luminess Air non returnable product,

I recently purchased the LuminessAirbrush cosmetic system through a special on Good Morning America. The system is terrible - absolutely minimal coverage and difficult to use. When I tried to return it, I was informed that since it was a special price, the money back guarantee did not exist. To say I am furious is putting it mildly. I want everyone to know what a rip off this product is.
Very poor customer service also.

How do you get your money back? They sure do not write the money back guarantee clearly. I haven't even used it. Did not even open because it takes to many coats to use.
I called and asked for a supervisor and I was told
that the were on calls and could not take my call. I want out.

Luminess Air rip off

I caught the end of an infomercial that was selling an airbrush to apply makeup with and the makeup to use in it for $24.95 (around). I got online...looked at the colors of the make-up and ordered it. I didn't care for the airbrush or makeup and gave it away. A few weeks later I receive more make up in the mail so I look at my credit card bill and they have charged me $69.95! I contacted LA and told the girl what I was charged and that I did not order this. She refunded $29.95? I called again. This lady told me I had not read ALL the terms and conditions online and that they would be charging me FIVE PAYMENTS of $69.95! I told her I would just get it back from the person I gave it to and return it. She told me it was too late to return it! THIS COMPANY IS A SCAM! IF YOU ORDER FROM THEM YOU WILL WISH YOU HAD NOT! I saw NOTHING that stated this information! I'm boiling mad! Will also be cancelling this credit card 1st thing in the morning and getting a different #! These people are crooks!

Hello Cyann,
I share your pain and anger. I decided to participate in Luminess air trial around the same time. I liked the info commercial and their promises on an easy return policy. I thought that would be a good thing to have for my daughter and for me. My daughter was very disappointed with me that I had fall for the commercial and did not do my homework to read reviews. Anyway, after a month, this package was sitting on my table, I called the company to get the return authorization in order to ship the package back to them. The operator told me that it should be insured for at least $300.00, because things happen. Oh, boy, I learned the hard way. I got the insurance and returned the package. The next thing I found $59.99 build to my account, that happened a few days later after I was issued the return authorization, and when I followed up with the phone call, they told me that will take 8 to 10 weeks for them to process the return. Within another week I received the foundation kit and the charge of $35.06 had appeared on my credit card. At that point I called the company and they advise me to refuse the package and they will issue a credit. To make the story short, it's been more than 4 month and I am still trying to get my money back, I had disputed the credit card charges and the case is still open.
The Luminess company has no SHAME to provide conflicting explanation to the credit card: the first time they claim that the disk was scratched, the second time they claimed that the aibrush machine was broken. The company is a SCAM and these people are CROOKS. Please, BEWARE women, DO NOT give your hard earned money to a company who takes advantage of your own kind.

After ordering the "Risk Free' offer of $29.95, I did get some supplies, but was actually charged $89.97.
Next month-another package containing a SINGLE tube of something-Another charge.
TODAY?..Total $463.00-+COUNTLESS UNPRODUCTIVE PHONE CALLS (for 2 boxes of (approx) $20 value)
SOLUTION?
I CANCELLED MY CREDIT CARD-
For anyone else who feels this is too drastic-too bad. Having worked for a major bank I understand that repeated, small charges go unnoticed by the vast majority. DILIGENCE is doing something to KNOW.

Rec, air brush system yesterday 01, 16.2014...tried it today 01.17.2014 and am 100% unsatisfied. The system took much more makeup that advertised, the results not as expected. When ordering system I was NEVER told of your no return policy. Deceptive. Mary Cipolla Acct#[protected]

Luminess Air scam

I received a shipment of products I did not order and it was peculiar because it was random and something I would not have used. I called to return it and find out I was charged for it and it was on a recurrent order and payment was taken from my credit card every 2 months. When I asked them to return it, they said I had to return it and pay for the shipping. I said I don't think so and proceeded to tell them off about 2 things 1) I did not authorized products to be sent to me and 2) random products to be sent and them bill me for it.

I asked to talk to a supervisor at which at 830am central time (I am in Houston and Stafford is 20 minutes in the suburb) to which I was denied. I told them I know what my rights are and they will refund me in full plus the shipping. They said that when they shipped me the equipment the paperwork said they could send me products and bill for it until I call and cancel. Really? without my consent?

I returned it and they have it in writing to refund my shipping with a copy of the receipt. When I emailed them 2 hours later, they said they cannot do it with an email receipt and said now I have to call them.

This is where I am now. I will fight this to the end. I have filed complaint with BBB, with Amex as well.

Luminess Air still being auto billed and shipped

I have been in contact with my bank and the company luminess air and asked them to stop auto charging my account and to remove and cancel my membership they said they canceled it, but I just Again have been charged this month. Please ask them to cancel my membership and stop charging my account.

As I, too, am a victim of these incredibly shifty folks-I discovered THE ONLY way to have them stop auto-billing.
ASKING nicely just will not get it done as Luminess does NOTHING but repeatedly bill you for inferior and falsely advertised "skin care" items.
CANCEL YOUR CREDIT CARD-Only then will the Bank proceed with a(ny) legal action at their disposal.
I have, unfortunately, had to correct an issue for my Mom as well. Cancelling the card does it every time.

Luminess Air uncaring company

I went so far as to taking this company several times through the Houston BBB. Even with proof I had on the tape, the BBB still sided with them stating that the product was still sent to the right address. I could not hear a darn thing and stated so on the phone due to background noise. I also could not understand the language barrier of their salesman who had called me. I had never even heard of this system before then. I swear the tape was cut! I remember clearly the salesman stating it was one payment only and then the rest was optional (which I told him I didn't want the membership). I have passed this scam onto my friends all over the world. Interestingly, one other girl I later met has suffered similar issues. The manager who showed up for the BBB stated that no matter what I said, the company would not ever be responsible. In addition, I was never sent a bill ever! They just kept pulling leaving me blind as a bat in abusing my credit card without ever refunding their mistake in the end. Shame on you Luminess Air! I hope you rot in Hell!

Luminess Air false charges, unauthorized charges

Order product through main website in Feb 2013, than return it before the 30 days were up. When check tracking number it showed product was received by company 2 days later at one point luminess refunded my card 19.99. However, luminess came back and withdrew a charge of 59.99 for the month of March and 59.99 for April. Also the made a withdraw for 19.99. When I called and spoke to CSR they staded they had never received my product which is BS. When I gave them the tracking number CSr stated she was not able to pull up any info with the tracking number I provided. I asked to speak to a supervisor, her name is Sharon. She was very unprofessional and asked if I didn't have the product why was I buying make up.. I told her becuase I had seen the same product in HSM at a better price, therefore I returned luminess their expensive ### product and purchased another 1 through HSM. Sharon continue to be rude and unprofessional and stated in order to get my money back I need it to give them an accurate tracking number and that I should of bought insurance in the package. Now I am getting emails stating I owed them 299.00? They are just ridiculous!

after canceling they continued to attempt to charge my credit card. They then tried to extort money from me by treating to report me to credit agencies.
