Luminelle review: Money fraud 11

I ordered some stuff from the company Luminelle. They promised to provide two samples of their new product. I agreed and received the product on time. I wasn’t very happy with it. When I checked my account, it turned out that this company charged me for $200 for these samples. Now they don’t reply to my emails. I’m so angry and want my money back. Please, if someone here had the same experience, can you help to return money back?

I also ordered try out samples of Luminelle. A few days later almost $200 was taken out of my bank acct. For auto monthly orders. I ordered on my cell phone. I called my bank. Here is what they said. It is a legal scam. If you go online in their web site..they tell you you have 14 days to cancel or the full order is sent. It is in very fine print. Here is what I did. I sent them an email telling them I wanted a full refund. I told them I contacted my bank and if I did not receive a refund in 7 days I was going to sue them for fraud. I received a email within three hours with a phone number. Now, the phone number is automated but if you punch 0 an operator will come on. We had a conversation that leaned toward me getting very aggressive but she tried to give me a fifty percent refund and keep the product. I told her no. Full refund period. And interesting thing happened. She wanted to know had I filled out papers to press charges yet. I told her no, but if I did not get a refund in seven days I was going to. She said my money would be in my account in a week. We will see.

i was so tempted to order these two creams, they are offered for free! Even though am only 32 yrs old and but show signs of aging like my right eye...anyway. I also think twice, not because of the money (which i really care and hold on to it tight before i let it go lol) but because i thought twice about putting stuff on my face that offers miraculous results in just one time! that made me wonder if it is just a trial experiment! so i didn't ordered... I love my chase account because they secure my payments. if i dont like or want something i ordered, all i need to do is talk to the company where i made my order and tell them i don't want the product, return it and then call my chase! they will give me my money back :)

Same thing happened to me and they refuse to respond to me. I have filed a complaint with the Federal Trade Commission. Please do the same so that will be forced to answer/refund their consumers.

These products are anti wrinkle/aging creams. When they called to verify that I had ordered these product, s I told them I was not interested in a recurrent order. They said to cancel after I received the products. Now I find I have to pay $38.00 if I cancel the recurring order. This is a disgraceful scam targeting elderly women, many who may be on a fixed income. I intend to look further into this matter.

To Kareninda. What number did you call for customer service to speak to a live person? When I realized what they had done, I immediately cancelled then in a recorded message was told that I still had to pay $38.71 twice for the 2 "samples" they were sending. I immediately got a call from my bank who noticed that they had made several charges to my card within a couple of hours an that it looked fraudulent. They closed that credit card immediately but could not remove the $4.95 each charges for the "samples" because I did order those and also at this point they cannot remove the 2 charges of the $38.71 since they were tied to the original charges. I would like to get hold of a company representative to get all my money back.

The product came in two separate boxes. Luma Repair and Luma Hydrate do not do anything other than make red marks on my face. My left cheek has a horizontal red mark about 3 inches long and 1/4 inch to 1/2 inch in width. It has been almost two months and it barely has faded. I have to use concealer. It is embarrassing. So I am told I have to return this product with my own money. I won't let you attempt to get payment from my account so what next? Patricia Williams

I also ordered some 'free samples" and was surprised to find large bottles. I looked into it further and discovered what you ladies have also discovered and I immediately cancelled so I received no further bottles. I received a cancellation email from them and I sent the bottles back. I then found on my credit card statement at the end of the month that I had been charged for these 'samples'. I sent them an email saying it amounted to fraud and I had a phone call from them. I have just spoken to their customer services and they are re-imbursing my money.
May be you should also call them and demand your money back as I did.

Hi, the same thing just happened to me. I belong to FreebiesForWomen which I won't use anymore. I ordered the "samples" through this site (well it led me to the site) and I only paid $4.95 for S&H. The only items in the box it came in were the FULL SIZED BOTTLE OF CREAM along with a paper showing me absolutely NOTHING and a flyer about the cream. Nowhere did it say I had to call to cancel with a certain amount of days, etc. The next thing I know I'm being charged $101.00 on my credit card - not even within the alloted time period. The only thing they would do is give me a 25% discount and cancel my "MEMBERSHIP" with them which I didn't even know I had. So be smart and DO NOT ORDER THESE "TRIAL" SAMPLES. They are full bottles or jars and if you don't act right away, you become a member and they keep charging you. I am furious but it's my own stupidity for thinking anything is free! Never again. Sorry but you can't get your money back.
