Lumatweeze / This was my worst internet shopping experience in my life
I placed an order with this company that finalized before giving the order total.
The shipping charge of $23.95 by US Mailfor a $35.96 order of very small and lightweight product under 1 lb. in weight.
I immediately (seriously within moments) began trying to cancel the order.
I called the customer service department. The representative informed me that she couldnÃ¢ï¿½ï¿½t cancel my order for two days and to call back on Monday. The rep didnÃ¢ï¿½ï¿½t offer to handle it for me on Monday or even to take my name and number so that she could call me back. I began trying to email. No email address on the site was valid. And the emails which came to me from the company did not allow a reply.
All told I got 4 different emails from the company, none of which had any reply email information. Again I called customer service when I got the last notice by email - that they were pleased to announce they shipped the product I ordered and so desperately tried to cancel. The rep who answered the phone was unable to offer a satisfactory solution that did not involve me driving to a post office and waiting up to 12 weeks for my credit card credit. He transfered me to a supervisor who also was incredibly unhelpful but very well-versed at handling what seemed to be a very common complaint. She offered no resolution and a perfunctory apology. And, informed me that there was no one else above her who could talk to me, ever, in a million years, for any reason whatsoever. (OK that part I made up - she didn't say that but I am sure she was thinking it. I imagine hers is one of the least fun jobs in the world running interferance for people who make a living doing business this way.) This was my worst internet shopping experience in my life.
