I am student of London School of Business and Finance (LSBF), i started my MBA in 2009 October, it supposed to be finished in October 2010. i got through all the subjects at first time, but unfortunately still i am waiting for my final results. now college saying that they were offering postgraduate diploma not a postgraduate degree. (MBA) we enrolled for a MBA programme which is awarded by University of wales. CAS letter and every documents issued on that basis, every details are included in the letters provided by the college and the university.

the worst thing would be the university don't issue our postgraduate diploma certificate either. i got the exemption for some subjects as i am qualified chartered accountant (CIMA). that is the only result confirmation i got from the university of wales so far. if i suppose to register with another university i need my past results to get exemption, otherwise i have to start from the beginning and have to follow all the subjects again. it is waste of time and money as well.

i have already spent huge amount of money for my studies, i spent more than two year of my life for this, but college and university are silent in this regarding. i no need to spend another one year and huge amount of money for a another MBA any more. therefore at lest now i need result confirmation for the subjects that i have completed with UoW. i have requested my result confirmation from several times, but i didn't get even any reply from the university yet. this would be my last and final request. it is my right to get result for the subjects i have completed. i know that the UoW has faced critical issue as the awarding body of some Bogus colleges. but we are genuine students, we paid huge amount of pounds to college, LSBF is a highly trusted college according to the UKBA. therefore i will never ever give up this case until i get satisfactory response from the university. i don't want to lose my money and time as well spent for this course. therefore i am fighting until get my final result from the UoW. further as i got to know from my friends, universities and colleges are dragging the students issues without giving any clear response until students' visa is expired, but it is not applicable to me because i am no longer international student. there is no any visa problem any more.i talked with my solicitor regarding this matter. now i am left with no choice other than take legal action against university and college.

Hi, folks!
I am facing a similar problem by the studyinteractive.org / LSBF. I delivered my dissertation on 01 March 2016 and am still waiting for results and certificate (status quo of 2016-09-09). The institution is unable to give any clear feedback about max. deadline for delivering end results and concluding this whole process.
Have you finally got results and certificate? How long did it take?
I would greatly appreciate if I could get reply from you, since this level of disrespect towards students is absolutely incomprehensible and unacceptable.
Thank you.
Wishing you all the best.

My name is Julieth Garzon Vargas, my student Id is A4076331. I was student at LSBF doing the hnd management course that "ended" september 2015. I submitted all my assignments then and have received all of my results, late, but I have them. However I have yet to receive any communication regarding my graduation from the course or the certificate which proves that I have completed it.
Five months have already passed and no communication has been made. When will I receive my certificate? What the hell is going on? at this point I am just wondering if I should contact a lawyer and try to get a refund for the course, but then who will refund me two years of my life wasted for nothing?

ANYONE LOOKING TO STUDY AT LSBF, , , , DONT!

Actually, I can not believe that this is an educational organization. They kept sending me emails and threats during continuous THREE months asking me to pay my fees.Every time, I replied to them by sending my bank transfer confirmation and an email from THEIR PROGRAM ADVISER confirming the receipt of the entire tuition fees. Finally, they understood that there is no hope to abuse me, they stopped their emails even without apologizing.

LondonSchool of Business and Finance - Poor service and study material that is not up to standard

I am now at the stage where I want to cancel my course with LSBF. On the one hand, the service I have received has been shocking, the response time is slow and I have not been properly informed from day one. I don't feel that I have enough support. Even with regards to my C03 tutor. I emailed him weeks ago and have still not received a response. On the other side, I am not happy with the standard of LSBF study material. I initially applied to study CIMA+MBA at the London School of Business and Finance Manchester campus in February 2015. I was pushed to make the payment of £9744 and once I did then suddenly the course was not available for me anymore. I was deferred to the course in August. I was not happy to wait about 6 months and then was encouraged to start the online course at a cost of £4200 and I was assured I would get the rest of my money back. I was told to apply for a refund using the online refund portal to apply for the refund of £5544. I applied for the refund and proceeded to wait. Over a month later a refund of £3946 was approved. I queried the outstanding amount of £1598 and was told that it was for the MBA exam and dissertation fees. I was not informed of this prior to applying for my refund. I explained that I did not want to pay these fees now as I was not sure that I would even do the MBA anymore. I was told to apply for another refund of £1598 separately. This refund was refused as I did not do it within the necessary time frame. This was not my fault though as I was waiting for a response to the refund application in which I requested the full refund of £5544 and I was not informed of the fees in a timely matter. I have still not received my refund of £3946 and it has been 3 months since it was approved. I have phoned and e-mailed countless times and the only response I receive is that they are waiting for payment dates from the finance team. After studying the 18 chapters for C02 and watching all the online lectures with LSBF. I felt I was prepared for the C02 exam - I tried some mock exams and there was a lot I did not know. I complained to my LSBF C02 tutor and was told it was impossible to cover the whole syllabus, which I think is ridiculous. I was then advised to buy the study text from BPP - which was another 400 and something pages and that meant I had to lay out more money. I went through the study text from BPP and found that it had all the information that I needed. I have now moved onto C03 with LSBF and once again I am very disappointed with the information in the LSBF study guide and on the lectures. I feel it is not up to standard. I again bought the C03 study text from BPP and there is no doubt about it that this study text will equip me for the exams and I do not feel that LSBF study material will. I cannot afford to continue to buy extra study text over the next few years after I have already laid out £5544. I have paid so much money to study with LSBF and yet I have to spend more money to buy separate study text to learn everything needed – that does not make sense to me. I therefore have decided that I would not like to complete the CIMA+MBA through LSBF. I would like to cancel the course. I explained this an employee of LSBF and he said it shouldn’t be a problem – I would simply have to pay for the 2 modules I have used and an administration fee but the rest of my money should be able to be refunded. He told me that I would again need to apply for a refund using the refund portal and that is where I can apply to cancel my course. I did so and that refund has been refused because again it was not done within the necessary time frame and that my opinion that the material is not up to standard is not a valid one. The have not kept me up to date on any of my refunds. They have not given me any other options and I feel like I am in the dark here. I want to make everyone aware of how one can be trapped by LSBF.

Hi,
All students who have been waiting for their degree results please contact me on businexuk@gmail.com. I have started a legal claim process against LSBF and any of you with similar 'pending results' issue can help a lot by providing your details.
I suspect that LSBF has never forwarded any dissertations to University of Wales.
Good luck.

Dear all.e
I am also one of victim of LSBF. I have paid almost 6000 pound back in 2009, ones I asked for refund and they started playing with me and I was asking from one person to another. Last week they told me that I wan't get my refund due to I have attained 1 month class,
surprisingly now they dont have any accreditation with government body, even they are not authorised. so if you guys have any problem related refund with LSBF please contact me as I have already applied for legal action.
also please find regional office or Agent in your country inform them not to send any student in LSBF.

Hi, I'm a student of the LSBF and this year completed my CIMA course. Since, May this year I'm waiting for the place in MBA. Unfortunately, not only your student support team is unprofessional but the complaints department as well. It has been 3 weeks since I submitted my complaint and I'm still waiting for the reply. What a shame!

I am student of Msc in Finance from London School of Business and Finance. It has been almost a year I have submitted my dissertation with no response. Every time I send email or call they claim to send the dissertation for final marking to University of Wales. When I directly check with the University they say that they never received the dissertation.

I am contemplating for taking full refund of my course fees and if the ignore I will take the legal route.

London School of Business and finance offered myself and a couple of my friends admission to study ACCA or CIMA, pass all our exams and get the opportunity for a discounted MBA being offered by University of Whales,
Now, without informing us, we are being told that the MBA is going to be awarded by an Italian University which is no where near the size of University of Whales.
If we wanted an MBA that was going to be awarded by an Italian University, we would have paid Euros and not that much to study in Italy and definitely would have had a far less living and accommodation cost than that which we have had in London for the past 2 years.Gettinag an MBA from a UK institution, I thought, was worth the cost of being in London for all these years and the cost associated with it

And with all these, they rely on their terms and conditions to refuse any refunds with one does not want an MBA from that Italian University.Like they just put it on the phone to me 'I am sorry but if you refuse to take this Italian University offer that we have, then you get to lose all the amount that have been paid towards your MBA fees.

Ok, here's the deal. I went to LSBF after I read their offer of free top-up MBA. Before any payment, my exchange with LSBF was super friendly. As soon as they got my money, they turned their backs. My recruiter got sent to Canada. I completed my ACCA component and was eligible for masters. It has been a year they kept turning me down and delaying. Then, they finally gave me a place in an Italian degree, which I checked online as well as with my friends in Italy, and the university, is well, not any good at all.
I am right now taking my time, and then going to slap a big law-suit on them.
Cheers.

Word of advise,

Stay away from this school as it seems like they are running a scam. I was enrolled with them initially part time which my company prepaid for the whole course. As the situation changed and I needed to get a refund back from them they started sounding very shifty.

See below their response in a chronological order

1. My case was being reviewed by someone in Mauritius – after 2 months.
2. Once I confronted them that the person in Mauritius have no idea and it’s been 2 months since I lodged my application then a person in their London office reviewed my case in 2 hours and they ended up declining my refund application.
3. I had to appeal against their decision – Writing email and trying to contact their refund department. Such a time wasting process let alone going through all the un-necessary aggregation
4. As soon as I appealed against their decision, after 2 hours I got a response back saying it has been approved.According to their refund process it usually takes 45 days and my application was reviewed in 2 hours –very unprofessional.
5. They deducted 300 Pounds in total as an admin fee…. Such a joke.
And now they are still asking for more back up letters or documents which have nothing to do with my refund application. Which makes one wonder what they are really up to?
My conclusion is that if they cannot train their own staff members on financial matters and being professional how on earth they can train general public people like you and me.
London School of Business Finance needs to be changed to London Scam of Peoples Money. It has been well over 2 months and I am yet to see the money that I am fully entitled to. To avoid any disappointment I would stay away from this school. They are such a night mare to deal with.
They bring the whole the new meaning to the word Unprofessional and Scamming.
Day light robbery - Unbelievable.

Hello,
I am writing this mail with reference to petition against LSBF.
I am stuck like the any other person, the LSBF person did not let me know that I am not suppose to pay the deposit before validation of the course, and now I am not able to raise a ticket for refund as they are not providing me the password required to log in for MyLSBF.
The course is still not valid, so they made me change the university and the course, now it has been 3 months I have not received any confirmed news regarding my application status.
I have also heard news that they are having some trouble with their operations and might shut any time soon.
Do have a possible way out for this? Please guide me through.
Thank you

LSBF has been ripping off students for years, and getting away with it. However, the tide has now turned, and they will soon be prosecuted, and deservedly so.

You can find a blog about them here:-

Hi All, after having had a dispute over a refund of a small sum of money paid to LSBF in error, sadly I discovered that there are hundreds of students experiencing the same issue albeit for larger sums of money . It seems that individually, no single student has the resources to get their voice heard or take any legal action. The way I see it, the only way forward is for everyone to unite against LSBF. I find that the most effective way would be through social media. I urge you all to use Facebook and Twitter to spread the word and encourage people to watch the following documentary regarding LSBF aired on 23/10/2013 by ITV. The Exposure team sent members of staff to work undercover in LSBF and found a plethora of problems filtering through every single department within the institution - if one can even call them that! This documentary will not be on the ITV iplayer indefinitely so PLEASE DO YOUR BEST. https://www.itv.com/itvplayer/exposure/series-21/episode-1-exposure-undercover-colleges. Sincerely, frustratedAndDisappointed ex-LSBF student.

If you are owed money, you can take legal action to get your money back. The best way to do is to go for a class action as a group. You need a good lawyer to help you.
You can also get the legal fees and other costs, if you are successful in your claim.
If you need help, reply to my message. I can give you advice on the best approach.

LSBF external degrees and masters programmes such as MBA and MSc have little or no value. They are simply useless titles sold to mostly foreign students.
Anyone who wants to do a degree or masters programme should check the following:

I am a current student in Lsbf who came to uk for the first time in 2011. I never knew anything about the rules or anything. I started with my ACCA course but realized that it is not my cup of tea, so i decided to quit. I emailed my advisor to change my course towards master but he replied :-
I am currently working away from the office so can not check our database.
Which intake are you due to start your MBA? Unless you are eligible for the MBA and have at least attempted all of your ACCA papers, you will be unable to start your MBA.
In the above message it is clearly mentioned that i can start once my mba intake is due which was june 2013 and atleast attempted all acca papers. He didnt even advised me to start on fresh application .I was new so never knew myself and was dependend on my advisor. So i decided to wait till 2013 and atleast attempt all the papers. Now i finished all my credits and june 2013 is here, now he is telling me i have to pass my papers. I applied for fresh application for masters no dual programme. I got managerial experience for 2 years. I submitted m, y reference but now they say i cant get as in eyes of UKBA i dont have any progress. I agree i passed only 1 paper in 2 years but for one semester i took deferment and another semester i was in india due to my health issues. so my 1 year out of it was already wasted due to my illness. No one has control towards illness but still i tried attempting all the papers. Everybody can try but results are not in your hands you can either pASS or fail but atleast i tried. Y is lsbf not ready to take fresh application. this is ridiculous. Moreover i went to the manager of my advisor he said send me all documents i will fight your case but he took almost one month to tell me that unfortunately he cant do anything. I emailed him almost everyday but i get his reply once or twice after week. so now i dont know where do i go and how do i get justice towards my studies.
All i want to say that is i agree i did mistake by taking acca but now i want to rectify my mistake and study but no one is helping me. I want to study and go back thats all i need. My advisor is telling me for refund but i dont need any refund all i need is compensation towards my studies as i missed all my lesson.
I am very frustated because of LSBF. I am almost moving towards depression because of it and if something happens to me because of all the mess created by LSBF me and my family will take serious action towards it. Even now i am looking for some solution if any one knows please let me know. I am
fed up to the extent that i am ready to report UKBA about my case. I dont care if i end up going back but i really need some action . Either Lsbf takes me seriously or I need someone who can help to fight my case.
thank you

I agree my experience at Lsbf has also been a nightmare staff are not professional, rude unsympathetic and advantage takers of vulnerable people. It is important all students band together and fight for our rights our money and education is at stake and only through us uniting and taking action will things change maybe we need to report Lsbf to watchdog as it breaks my heart hearing all these real sad cases.

I am a current student of LSBF although not been to class since I have been blocked the school website. I got the contact of a representative of the institution from my sister who was applying for ACCA . I also contacted the same guy to as about the requirement s to study . I did explain to him that I wanted to take three courses or six as those were the courses I could Afford however he mentioned that to get a visa renewal I will need to take up 12 courses. I went ahead with registration with ACCA global and got one exemption so I notified the adviser . To my surprise he registered me for 12 courses instead of 11 and not acknowledging my exemption. He however claimed that the reason were because the amount for 11 papers were more than 12 which found very difficult to believe. Because of this error he decided to downgrade my courses to 9 .My problem is that they are hardly trained as course advisers and more of sales representatives. This guy has put me through a payment plan without explanations of how it works .I only knew that I would have to pay £50 monthly to service the payment plan when went there. He also unilaterally declined me for discounts which could have allowed me to settle in full posibly because he was biased or discriminatory .I have stated my case to the school in the last two weeks to his boss and the complaint department .Although the only person trying to help me who is Angela Foo has no jurisdiction but the person who has is directing me back to the same adviser to sort how a resolution .What else do you think the result will be . He has basically stated to me that he didn't mis inform me and he knows how to do his job so I dont have a choice than to go on the payment plan. As of today he is threatening me with the UKBA possibly to have me deported . I know the UK is trying to reduce number of immigrants but I don't think this should be done by swindling genuine students. I am at home now after paying £2740 I am been forced to sign the payment plan or they report me to UKBA . Its a lose lose situation with LSBF. I wished I never went there and I will never advise anyone to try the school. Kaplan is quite better .

I have just found out that Ministry of Education, Canada has shut down the operation of LSBF Canada due to non compliance of law and failure to pay a total penalty amount of CAD $64000. I called the LSBF London office and continuously asked then if their office in Canada was still operational and they had no answer for that. They kept spinning the conversation around. I know several students who are expecting refund amounts of close to CAD 9000... please everyone... listen closely... they are doing some big fraud with everyone. I am proceeding with legal action against them and i do think it would be a good idea for everyone to keep calling up their regional and head office and pestering them for a certain answer on when the refund amount will be issued... if we work together we might be able to get out money back!
Find this information at the following link: Find LSBF under unregistered institutions...there are 2 notices issued against them.

I too have been taken for a ride. My course consists of 6 modules I passed the first 5 and the final one I failed by 2%. I do not believe this as I know I should've got over 65-70%. Surprisingly both internal markers derived the same score which I can not believe as this is not a mathsl paper but a theoretical one. I'm not having any joy with any members of staff and will be taking legal action.

I have also been victim of LSBF jaws. Never never never never never never never never go to LSBF or FBT Global for any course. They offer so much but all their offers lapse after you get admission. Never...never...never go to LSBF or FBT

Anyone thinking to join their CIMA+MBA ACCA +MBA or International MBA program should think it twice. I have graduated with their MBA program affiliated with University of Wales in January 2013, but still not received any MBA certificate, transcripts at all, there is the same situation with my every batch mate, most of us are not in UK anymore and have tirelessly wrote to LSBF about MBA certification but once in month we receive e: mail from them that its been getting prepared and it is from last six months.. I have wrote to UOW and they are unable to help. We are now at no where. LSBF is a fishy institute which rely heavily on its marketing to play around with the future of developing countries students, and their paid agent will mislead you in every step, so be very cautious and avoid them at every cost otherwise you will be wasting your time and money like us

i had applied for the same course cima glyndwr. They gave me offer letter on 26th march. My visa was expiring on 12th.They didnt gave me cas letter for that course they told me that glyndwr is not satisfied with my application so they are not going to me give cas from glyndwr but however they said they can offer me lsbf cas letter.I told them i need my £3000 deposit back.My advisor told me as it will take 3/4 weeks but i will definetly get it coz it wasnt my fault they coudnt manage to get me cas from glyndwr university.they did issued me offer letter than what was the problem.i have seen hundreds of students who didnt got cas letter like me and offered lsbf cas.some of them took lsbf cas and some of them went to some other uni. Then they told me, for refund u have to apply for ticket and i did. After waiting 3 weeks they canceled my refund saying all the deposit paid is non refundable as it is metioned in their terms and conditions.so u r not going get even a single penny back but however u can take online course.
So right now i am planing to go for legal fight. Our money is our blood and they are sucking our blood. Our parents work really hard to pay for our education and this kind professional thiefs are stealing our money like that.its not gonna happen.

I enrolled with LSB to do my ACCA course i was made an offer, paid for the package and was told after making the payment that the special was no longer available to me even though i called on the said day before making the payment and was told that it was available to me. I keep getting promises about a decision is to be made by a committee and i am yet to receive that decision. I only made the payment because i was told the offer was still available to me. I do not even know why it has to go to a committee for a decision when i acted on information LSB provided. Now i am making a formal complaint to the Office of the Independent Adjudicator and also having dialogue with my lawyer to sue LSB for stealing my money of 825 pounds equivalent to $123, 750 Jamaican dollars plus for the inconvenience caused. It is obvious that especially with international students LSB has no regards for us. i will not rest until i receive my money back also LSB will pay me for the high inconvenience caused. Also the rep i spoke to in the refunds dept does not know anything about customer service. For a so-called professional institution i am now thinking how much of a scammer LSB is!
