I am student of London School of Business and Finance (LSBF), i started my MBA in 2009 October, it supposed to be finished in October 2010. i got through all the subjects at first time, but unfortunately still i am waiting for my final results. now college saying that they were offering postgraduate diploma not a postgraduate degree. (MBA) we enrolled for a MBA programme which is awarded by University of wales. CAS letter and every documents issued on that basis, every details are included in the letters provided by the college and the university.

the worst thing would be the university don't issue our postgraduate diploma certificate either. i got the exemption for some subjects as i am qualified chartered accountant (CIMA). that is the only result confirmation i got from the university of wales so far. if i suppose to register with another university i need my past results to get exemption, otherwise i have to start from the beginning and have to follow all the subjects again. it is waste of time and money as well.

i have already spent huge amount of money for my studies, i spent more than two year of my life for this, but college and university are silent in this regarding. i no need to spend another one year and huge amount of money for a another MBA any more. therefore at lest now i need result confirmation for the subjects that i have completed with UoW. i have requested my result confirmation from several times, but i didn't get even any reply from the university yet. this would be my last and final request. it is my right to get result for the subjects i have completed. i know that the UoW has faced critical issue as the awarding body of some Bogus colleges. but we are genuine students, we paid huge amount of pounds to college, LSBF is a highly trusted college according to the UKBA. therefore i will never ever give up this case until i get satisfactory response from the university. i don't want to lose my money and time as well spent for this course. therefore i am fighting until get my final result from the UoW. further as i got to know from my friends, universities and colleges are dragging the students issues without giving any clear response until students' visa is expired, but it is not applicable to me because i am no longer international student. there is no any visa problem any more.i talked with my solicitor regarding this matter. now i am left with no choice other than take legal action against university and college.

My visa WAS expiring n 22nd April 2013. I already have submiited all the documents (educational documents - MSc Physics - Diploma in Business Studies, CIMA Registration Reciept, Language course, visa documents and reference letters ) to LSBF . LSBF issued me an offer letter for CIMA Course from Glyndwr University. My advisor Miss Ashu Mogla from London campus asked me to submit the 3000 pounds to LSBF account in order to issue me a Glyndwr university CAS after. she told me that I will get the CAS NEXT morning.3rd April 2013 as I submiited 3000 pounds on 2nd April 2013. but 3rd April not any CAS was issued to me. I contacted the admission department they emailed me to appear in english exam in Lsbf. I also passed internal english exam of LSBF with 76% marks. I waited till last day of my visa to get the CAS letter but unfortunately I did not recieve any from LSBF. i mean why THEY HAVE GIVEN ME OFFER LETTER AND MY 3000 POUNDS IF THEY WERE NOT ABLE TO ISSUE ME MY CAS. UKBA IS DOING NOTHING. I NOW HAVE APPLEID FOR REFUND but I am very worried . they are playing with laws and future of students they are robbing students on the name of education. they playing dogy things. i dono what to donow and how now they can refund all of our fees. im very down becuase of this. the advisors sitting there, they all are misguiding and cheating students just taking money and ruining students lives :(

LSBF IS A COMPLETELY USELESS SCHOOL. THEY ARE PAINFULLY USELESS! IF U LIKE YOURSELF DO NOT HAVE ANYTHING TO DO WITH THIS COLLEGE. GO TO KAPLAN OR BPP OR LCA. LSBF IS JUST A MONEY MAKING VENTURE. THEY DONT KNOW WHAT THEY ARE DOING.

Hello guys,

To everyone that is not getting answers from LSBF, I suggest you try what I did: send an e-mail copied to everyone in LSBF (teaches, secretaries, administration, etc - you can have a full list in their website) and someone will answer you (for good or for worst). Here is a list of some addresses I sent my e-mail and got an answer:
admissions@lsbf.org.uk
bramsamy@studyinteractive.org
dmason@lsbf.org.uk
neiltailor@lsbf.org.uk
parttimestudents@lsbf.org.uk
pghelpdesk@LSBF.org.uk
pstewart@lsbf.org.uk
rsowerby@lsbf.org.uk
Unfortunately, only if you piss them of they will get to answer you...
Does anyone has got a refund? Cause all I am reading is people complaining and I don't see a single history from someone that acctualy has had a refund application accepted.

Hi all. I am also a victim of LSBF. I got enrolled for full time CIMA in 2009. I had an offer to pay my fees in installments. But when I reached FBT Birmingham, they refused to accept any installment offer. After about 3 months discussion, I found that they have made miss-commitments. I have provided all the proofs but LSBF does not cooperate. I do not any international student to join LSBF or FBT.

I completely agree LSBF is the meanest and greediest college in the UK. I also did MBA last year and still awaiting my results and worst thing is they are not bothering to reply. I am going to make a formal complain about them with high authorities. This college should be banned as all my class mates hate LSBF and I which I never had to talk to this meanest institute ever again - I WOULDNOT RECOMMEND THIS COLLEGE TO ANY STUDENT FOR ANY COURSE - ESPECIALLY OVERSEAS STUDENTS SHOULD NEVER COME HERE. THEY SHOULD GO TO KAPLAN OR BPP WHICH IS MUCH BETTER. LSBF should be ashamed of their attitude towards student and I wish UKBA ban this college...! I just need my results..Can you please let me know if you are interested in taking this matter further and want to make a formal complain about LSBF in that case please contact me. Thanks

Hello

I have also applied for a refund, I applied early January and received all the automated confirmations and ticket number. It has now been over the already very high 45 day period for a refund to be processed.
I have sent numerous emails to numerous members of the team and have still not received a reply with the basic necessary information you would expect.
I have received no updates, nor have i received any news about the refund amount, when and how it will be refunded.

I have tried to raise an official complaint and again have not received any response from anyone.
Could someone please suggest a name: someone who I could contact to get some sort of answers?

Kind Regards,
Hiren Pancholi

I paid all my outstanding payments on July 28, 2011 and I have an email confirmation from the adviser of LSBF clearly confirming and thanking me for my last payment settlement.

A few days ago, I received an email from LSBF saying that their system does not show my payments. I forwarded the confirmation email sent by their advisor clearly stating that I have settled all my outstanding payment, but LSBF insist that they have not received my payment. This is really weird. Is LSBF an educational institution?

my name is dean jenkinson and i paid for a CIMA course tuition and within 7 working days I decided to apply for a refund due to a change in personal circumstances on the 2nd January. The university sent me a gineric message on the 7th January. I have since called and called left messages with a promised reply and no one has come back to me since that date as well as leaving ticket messages requesting an update. I have been advised the university does have a 7 days cooling off period and their terms and conditions states 45 days max. This is a disgrace. Why has no one replied? What is my next step do I have to take legal action to get this matter resolved? Can someone please contact me within the next 3 working days or I see no alternative but to take this matter further.

I am a student from LSBF college 9 Holborn London. Group (MBA top up 8 FM). I had been failed in my dissertation after which I made an appeal showing genuine reasons that show how my supervisor 'Sahar Ata' guided me wrongly in my dissertation. The college informed me through an email that they can't do anything in appeals relating to academic judgement. And that they have emailed this appeal to the University of Wales for further consideration. This has been told to me 2 months ago. And I haven't heard any updates from them in this relation. I doubt if they have really sent my appeal to the University for consideration. I have faced tremendous mental pressure by taking admission in LSBF. And I blame their admissions staff, their help desk services and telephone attendant's attitude over the phone, and mostly the academic staff or the teaching faculty who teach but fail the students in the exams to generate more revenue through resit fees. I went through these resit stage for two subjects in my MBA top up course after which they failed me in my dissertation asking me to resubmit by paying £129 and they have given me time till 2013. But I did everything as guided by the supervisor and after confirming each and every fact with my supervisor so that I never make any mistake in my dissertation. I was expecting more than 70% in my dissertation, but it was a shock for me when I saw 34% with a long list of faults pointed by the first marker in the assessment sheet. Dr. Steve Priddy gave me two options which are either I must accept Post Graduate Diploma or I must resubmit till the deadline given with the fees.

If LSBF is reading this, I request you to let me know the facts. I want to know if University of Wales has really received my appeal from the LSBF. My student id in LSBF is A4039085.

I humbly request the readers to please check this matter because I feel that some injustice is done to me and if this can happen to one student it can happen to anyone. I feel cheated right since I went for admission in LSBF for MBA top up. Its been a horrible experience of going through the admission process, visa process, repeated visa applications, resits, and very very careless attitude of the management staff towards the students like me who came to UK from India for a good qualification.

I don't even know if you are the right people I am discussing this issue with. But, I request you to cooperate as much as you can and help bring justice to me / your self and mostly Indians because we Indians are the most vulnerable and common victims of this corrupt education system all over UK.

Rajkiran.

I had enrolled myself in LSBF canada on sept, 2011. As soon as I got my Letter of Acceptance after paying a deposit of CAD $ 4, 475, I had applied for my visa for Canada. Unfortunately I was rejected the visa twice which forced me to apply for refund. I created a ticket with number 6703 on 12th Feb, 2012. After being approved the refund, I provided my bank details as per asked. Due to delay I started inquiring more often and I would get replies that my refund would be processed by July, than mid of November and lastly end of January. It has now been more than a year since I have applied for my refund and I am still waiting.

LSBF, you contacted me via my personal email and since then I haven't received any other form of reply from your team even after I provided you with my details. It is indeed sad that educated people would act like this. Why would anyone in this present age deprive someone of a refund? Are you guys in some kind of bankruptcy? Why would it take three months to get a response from people? I suggest that the management team at LSBF be restructured for better and efficient services because right now, it sucks. That being said, I would stop at nothing to ensure that my money gets back to me. You people should take note of that.

Hello, I have been calling LSBF everyday to check the status of my refund application. For the past month I have never once received the 'promised' callback. I am currently over-running my visa in order to stay and get my refund before leaving. I have explained this in several emails to the refund c'ttee and have never once received a response past confirmation of receipt of my application. What is happening?

Dear all,

I am an online student of Master's degree at Finance at London School of Business and Finance. Please note the followings:-

1- On June 20, 2012, I sent an email to the Msc advisor asking about the opportunity to enroll in the module of the Financial Reporting Analysis in September 2012 and the Corporate Finance in October 2012.

2- On June 26, 2012, she replied with the followings:
“You have been included in the enrolment system for FRA and CFM modules. Just to clarify, the FRA module starts 13th of August, and therefore you will be able to access the platform when the self-study session starts which is the 2nd of July. And CFM module starts on the 1st of October, the self-study session start date is on the 20th of August. Please, confirm once you are able to access the platforms”
3- On the same day I replied with : “please advise on the next possible enrolment for the FRA module”
4- On July 6, 2012, she replied with : “Please, note that the FRA module is already available for the self-study session, and you can access it now”
5- After checking the date of the test, I found that the test will be in September 2012 which does not match my request. Consequently, I have not confirmed my enrollment to the module as asked by the Msc-advisor.

Thereafter, I have been enrolled in December Module, but I was informed by another the Msc advisor that the December test is considered my second attempt .If I will not pass, I will be rejected from the whole programme and even if I pass my score is limited to 40%.
A month now, I am trying to explain and asking for a feedback regarding my status but there is no any response positive from London School of Business and Finance.

Thank you
