Lowe's cheating company

I bought a refrigerator at Lowe's and wasn't told until I got to the register that I had to pay for the delivery fee (it was supposed to be free). I was told if I sent the receipt to Lowe's Rebates, Dept. 5768-112, 751211, El Paso, TX [protected] I would receive the delivery charge back $79.00. I copied the receipt and sent it certified mail. I got the card back with Lowe's signature dated 1/9/09. I just got on line to check the status because I was supposed to receive it in 6 weeks. The site said there was something wrong with the receipt and I should resubmit it. There was NOTHING wrong with the receipt and I have been through these rebates scams before (Dell) and had to fight to get paid. I am going to send it again certified mail and that will make me out about $10 for mailing and the delivery charge with no guarantee they won't find problems again.

Lowe's awful quality products

Being environmentally conscious I have begun buying the compact fluorescent bulbs to use in our home. I bought a couple of 6 packs of the Bright Effects 13 watt CFLs sometime last summer, (2008). Unfortunately I did not retain the receipts, nor the packaging. Tonight I just replaced the the fourth bulb to fail. Meanwhile most of the incandescent bulbs that were in my house when I bought it in 2001 are still working. Clearly, these bulbs are not living up to their claim of outlasting incandescent bulbs by years. They do not even last as long as ordinary incandescents. I'm replacing them with GE CFLs. I hope they will perform as advertised.

Lowe's lied to me

My wife and I purchased a house and needed new appliances. We had gone to Lowes and picked out a fridge, microwave, and stove- all matching in stainless steel on the Monday before the house closing, that was on Friday. I asked the salesman if I could pay for the items and leave them there for pickup on Friday, after closing. I was told that I would have to take them with if I paid for them, but he promised me that when I came back on Friday, I could buy them then, and he would have all three waiting for me. I told him that the house I was buying didn't have any appliances, and, with my luck, they would be sold out when I returned to pick them up. He stated "we have a surplus of all three in stock, I assure you they will be here". Friday after the closing, I went back to Lowes and found they had the microwave and stove, but were sold out of the matching fridge. I gave the salesman working then, the card of the other salesman who made me the promise, and asked him to check in back. He returned and told me that they were out, but would call the store manager and asked of they would give me a discount on the damaged floor model fridge. I then stood by the counter as he called the manager and asked about the discount. I could hear the manager tell him to give a $100 discount on the $1200 fridge. The salesman hung up and advised the manager approved a $25 discount. As pissed as I was, I needed the fridge. They then loaded the fridge onto a service cart and scratched the stainless steel front, telling me to buy polish, and buff it out. I ended up going off, yelling, in front of the store. I'm sure my brother-in-law, who was there to help pick up the items, was probably counting his money to see if he had enough to post my bond. The manager then came to the front of the store and asked me what the problem was. When I told him the whole story, he did give me a more expensive fridge at the same price as the one I had picked out- it didn't match the microwave and stove exactly, but was close, and I was thankful. 1 year later, I needed to replace my dryer and wash machine. After checking with the Sears and Menards in my town, and being unable to find an electric dryer on sale, I went back to Lowes after being talked into it by my father. I picked out a washer and dryer and took them home. After bring them into the basement, I found the dryer was not working and returned it. I had picked out a different brand that was about $30 more, and was told to go to the service desk for a refund on my debit card for the first dryer and then pay for the second one. I did, and then loaded the new dryer into my dad's pickup and started to pull out of the parking space when I saw two Lowes employee's running after me. Thinking I forgot something I stopped and got out of the truck. They then told me that they called the police, and that I hadn't paid for the dryer. I then showed them my refunded receipt along with the new receipt. I said they were sorry and would call the police back. Based on my experience with Lowes, I stopped at the DeKalb Police station on my way home and made sure. I would like to thing of my Lowe's experience as bad luck, but I refuse to buy anything there ever again.

Lowe's notification of decreased credit/poor customer service

I have been a regular customer of Lowes since I bought my house in 2006. When we bought our washer/dryer there, we opened this account to take advantage of a discount and zero percent interest offer. Recently, I have finished graduate school and in the process of moving and waiting for my new paychecks, I fell behind, although probably not by many days. Apparently, the late fees piled up into a large $123 bill. I requested a return on the late fee, which they did. My bill which is usually a minimum payment of around 35 dollars was still about $90, which did not seem fair. I told the associate about my situation and like most of the people answering telepones for companies these days, she did not seem to care. I now recently received a statement saying that my credit limit was being decreased even after paying my bill. I am just letting people know that Lowe's consumer credit cards does not care about people and its association with the store makes it worse because I liked shopping there. I will never shop at Lowe's again, nor recommend it. Luckily, there is always Home Depot. I feel bad for them in these poor economic times. If they continue to treat people this way, they will be lucky to make it through.

Its impotant to distinguish the credit issuer from the retailer in this scenario. I think you will find that the card is from GE Capital. This is the company that is reported to have a shrinking capital and is decreasing available credit lines across its more riskier card holders. Since you are behind occassionally that means YOU.

Lowe's lowes subcontractor

I've worked as a subtractor for jason charelle (charelle flooring) (whom works for lowes as a subcontractor) , now for about 5 years, I got fired from jason charelle (charelle flooring) because jason charelle (charelle frooring) lied to lowes by telling lowes that my name was (allen philps) and all along it was me! (i myself was never told this, nor did I know that I was to be cleared and to fill out paper work to even do any work for lowes even thou I worked as a subcontractor for jason charelle (charelle flooring). now when I was asked by a manager from lowes who I was, I simply told them my name and then I was told that I was not in there system, (so what does that mean ? I didn't know) so I tried to contact jason charelle (charelle flooring) to let him know that the manager told me that I was not in the system that could not work for lowes, of coarse he never answered his phone for several hours later telling me that I was to lie and say that my name was (allen philps) so he wouldn't get fierd from lowes, so he fierd me because I didn't lie for him,

What a scam jason charelle (charelle flooring) had pulled on not just me but also lowes. I have proof from 1099s to bank statements that jason charelle used me as a sub to do work for jason charelle (charelle flooring) it will show up on workmans comp and insurance also ! I also watch jason charelle return items to lowes that I know that a customer had paid for that was orderd extra to make more of a profit on some jobs and so far has got away with it. can't get intouch with the right corp; #s to file the proper complaint's

Personaly I think lowes should fire charelle flooring for lieing unlike fireing me for not lieing !

Lowes by your contract must give you first chance to make it right. I agree the bs about sending you competition out with a blank check book full of your checks. I was a contractor for 4 years and have been cheated out of many of thousands of dollars. They are the big guy a don't give 2 [censored]s about you because another person is waiting to get your contract. I had lowes actually try to take $5000 from me and not pay me 3800 for a job that they say they had to refund a customer money for water damage in their basement. Surprise the customer was a former lowes manager and friend of management. After inspecting the property, the house didn't even have a basement.
I could go on and on but F*#$ Lowes. They will only screw you and their customers. If you need work done, pay a contractor instead of giving lowes additional money above what the contractor is making, up to 35 percent i believe.

Does anyone know what the protocol for back charges is with Lowes? Can they just back charge you without ever telling you that it might happen or telling you they would be sending another contractor to your job to finish it? And never allowing you to go out and be there when the other installer goes to inspect? How is it fair that you are not there to witness what the other installer says needs to be done? That other installer is trying to make money so whats to say he didn't exaggerate ? Please if there are any Lowes Installers that DEFINITLY KNOW the protocol for back charging installers. Please respond.

Well to all you legitimate installers . .. Look out for Lowes they are in it for themselves. DO NOT SIGNE LEIN WAIVERS UNTILL YOU ARE PAID! You have no recourse if Lowes DOESNT PAY YOU We got let go because some bogus costumer complaint. Customer insisted over 3 -*4 times that we take her pull out section of her couch, she did not want it - so we came off hours to pick up and take away for her at no charge when there was room in van - she complained to Lowes. Go figure do someone a favor and get fired over it and not charge customer to take away their garbage (ie dump fee that's chargeable to customer). So anyway out of 5 stores we worked for in NY we are still owed over three thousand dollars. About 3 are completed jobs and the rest are measurements. Now Lowes collects monies from customers for all work prior to an installer going to measure or complete a job. Lowes has over $3, 000.00 OF CUSTOMERS MONEIS that they have not paid to installer who has measured job customer paid for and for jobs - Lowes fires installers keeps installer money and does not refund that to customer - Lowes is bank rolling on Customers . And funny part customers have NO idea that their installer got let go and did not get paid. And Lowes makes you sign a Lien Waiver B4 you as installer can get paid which waives ALL installer rights to get paid - CUSTOMERS NEED TO KNOW THEY HAVE MONEY COMMING TO THEM IF LOWES WONT PAY INSTALLER!

Don't really know what is going on with this situation, but I can say personally that this did happen to me and my installer, we were working for a subcontractor for lowes since 2007, just to find out this year, when we wanted to go out on our own with lowes, that our boss ran background checks then that didn't go through but he worked us anyway. I gotta sat he is still working and we have been unemployeed since May this year.We are fighters not quitters, and I must say Lowes Corporate is really squirming now

What a liar? You make me laugh! I know who you are! Why don't you tell everyone the real reason you got fired? Can you man up? No because you were never a man! We all laugh at you! Why would a manager ever even see you to ask you your name! Your expertise is hiding in dark corners?Huh? Why is that boy? My neighbor told me that you threw a little puppy under a vehicle so someone could kill it! A little more investigation just might land you in jail--then what would you do with your entertainment! One reason you probably got fired also is because you act and look and speak like an idiot! Look up the word ignorant and idiot--you might be enlightened! You are an obvious liar----ask your wife, she will verigy that

Lowe's poor install experience with bali blinds

We bought our new home in June 2007 and needed blinds...then we made a huge mistake. We went to LOWES! Since then we have been working to complete our blind order. After 5 visits to our home and multiple installs due to poor performance from BALI the manufacture we still are not finished. Four of the blinds are the wrong size and now BALI and LOWES are dragging their feet to make right the order. Now we are caught in a fingerpointing extravaganza and our blinds look terrible! The install dept LOST all our information pertaining to measurements, etc. We had to provide it back to them. The LOWES install dept and the installer (contracted out) are incompetent. The installer put the blinds in and didnt even mention it was the wrong size by about a foot and a half at the bottom. It was completely obvious this one blind was too big because it was stacked up at the bottom of the window. They have measured 4 times and still cant get their act together. Now BALI does not want to replace the blinds that dont fit even thought WE PAID a $35 measuring fee at the beginning to make sure we wouldnt have this problem. According to our contract they are under warranty still. We filed a complaint with corporate and submitted a poor rating on their company survey via mail but it still didnt do any good. If they dont fix this situation soon we with have no choice but to do a total tear out (if the scammers will allow it) with refund or hire an attorney. Please dont use this company for your home improvement needs especially if they try to seduce you with 15% off sales and a two week install. The money is not worth the stress and its now 8 months later. Cant say much better for BALI. Their product is inferior compared to Hunter Douglas. You definitely get what you pay for. Theres a special place in Hades for LOWES!

We've just had a similar experience. Although I liked our installer, it was the order service person named Beth at the Lowes-Hamilton Place Mall in Chattanooga, TN, that has ordered our blinds wrong twice now. She was very rude and impatient from the beginning and that was my 'clue' that should have made me stop to begin with. I continued because my experience 9 months before in another state with Lowes and bali blinds was great. We can all make mistakes, even big costly ones, but my problem is with the integrity of Beth and her boss Angel who called me when the problem started. She and her boss tried to blame me! I knew what I wanted, told her in person and over the phone a couple times and so did the installer/measurer who 'I also paid' and he came to measure and order exactly what I told him I wanted. The ways they tried to manipulate me into admitting I was somehow at fault was appalling. When they had to 'eat' their problem and reorder at their own expense, Beth again ordered wrong. She ordered the wrong color this time...how do you change the color, when that never was the problem to begin with. Beth has proven incompetent in numerous ways at this point. We are still working to resolve this issue. I will never shop Lowes again and will tell everyone my story of not only their incompetence but their unwillingness to even compensate us or help us in any way with the headache they have caused!

Lowe's lowe's refusal to honor warranty plan

Another "do not use lowe's extended warranty plan" because lowe' refuses to honor it. I have been trying to have my samsung front load washer repaired since last july. La mesa, ca appliance has been to my house numerous times and cannot repair it. La mesa appliance told me more than once to "bolt the washer to the floor", which voids the warranty. I am still in the process of getting this resolved. Lowe's must not pay fair market appliance repair because their vendors (La mesa appliance) treat the customers/consumers horribly. I am just beginning my process of the paper trail. I will be contacting the bbb, lowe's corp. Office, etc.

If you read Lowe's extended protection plan it says at their discretion they will replace it or repair it. So if they are repairing it then they are doing what they said. As for the vacuum cleaner it does say that the extended protection plan protects from manufacturer defects and normal wear and tear, not stupidity and accidents from not paying attention. As for the washer repair men Lowe's is not who sends out the repair men they are solely the responsibility of the company who made the washing machine. Honestly I work for Lowe's and they piss me off and I am very willing to say when they are wrong but I am also willing to say when they are following their policies and unfortunately in this case as much as it sucks they are doing what the plan said they would do.

I have a vacuum cleaner that I purchased an extended warranty on. They told me I could bring the vacuum back to the store when I purchased the warranty if something should go wrong. I got one of the dog's toys caught in the brush and the belt broke. Now they will not take it back but want to send a "technician" to my house. My husband and I both work. Making sure someone would be home for the technician could create a definite hardship -- the vacuum is portable. It doesn't make rational sense for me to have a company send a person more than a half-hour's drive to my home to repair a small portable appliance when they told me in the first place that they'd take it back. I will never buy another appliance from Lowe's -- large or small. They've lost me as a customer.

Lowe's call/lemon law

Bought a Samsung Fridge 10-09-06 and on 01-07-08 the ice maker went out for the 4th time. I called the Lowes Service Center and they wanted to make a service appointment. I bought the 4 year EPP cost $200.00 they said there was nothing they could do, I would have to call the store to talk to the manager. So I call the store get put on hold for 26 minutes and the lady answers says who are you holding for and then puts me on hold again. I stayed on hold another 7 minutes before some picked up and I told them I didn't want to be put on hold NO more. So the girl takes my name and number and said she would get a manager to call me back. Now thats what I call $#!tty service. Still waiting on the call.

Lowe's poor roof installation

I contracted with Lowe's to have a roof installed in 2005. They in turn contracted the work to a roof installer (failing to adequately check his credentials). The roof installer hired by Lowe's in turn hired another contractor to install my roof ("Subcontractor"). The Subcontractor slapped new shingles (in an uneven fashion) over my old roof shingles and failed to replace any of the original flashing. As a result of the shoddy workmanship performed, my roof developed leaks that had never been there before. As a result of all this, I've incurred extensive interior and exterior damages and living in my house has been challenging. At no point did Lowe's check the quality of the work being performed (or the persons actually performing the work) during my roof installation. To date (12/08) Lowe's hasn't made any serious attempts at making us whole and has failed to stand by the work performed by the installers they contracted to perform the work.

I paid Lowes to install a thirty year 130 mph art. shingle on my home July 2010. The job was contracted out. A Van of Mexican day workers showed out at 7am on August 10th to do the installation. They finished around 4pm. The sub contractor showed up around 9 am introduced himself then left he returned an hour later with a piece of drip edge and asked one of the day worker to install it. I was asked to sign a piece of paper stating that it looked ok it said nothing about being installed correctly. The sub contracted left again to pickup more drip edge strips. It tooks another couple of hours. He return with ton of strips. He then returned to his pickup truck and and slept the afteroon away with the air conditioner and motor running. He left about 3pm. He said the guys will be here cleaning up for a while. The front roof looks ok. The back roof looks shoddy. The overall job looks shoddy. I have asked someone at Lowes to come out and take a look. i don't know if they will.

I had a nightmare installation of flooring by Lowe's contractors/subcontractors...the only thing that worked for me was searching the internet for tons of complaints regarding Lowes and their contractors shoddy jobs. I compiled a list of everyone I could find and threatened Lowes with a class-action lawsuit. My money was refunded the next day. BUT...I had to sign an avidavit that I would not pursue any legal action against Lowes by cashing their check

Lowe's didn't stand behind their word

We went into Lowe's Home Improvement Store to buy a washer and dryer and decided to take advantage of the on-line coupon of buying a $100.00 and receiving an on-line coupon for $10.00. We were told we could receive a $10.00 coupon for as many $100.00 coupons as we wanted to purchase. We asked if we needed seperate receipts or if there was a limit on how many coupons we could get and were told no that there were no limits and we didn't need seperate receipts. So we bought 25 $100.00 coupons and paid for our washer and dryer with them. We came home and tried to to go on-line to get our coupons and there indeed was a limit of three per receipt and per family or household. We returned to Lowe's with our dilema and they told us it was our loss and there was nothing they could or would do about it. We asked them if they would at least issue a store credit for the coupons we could not collect and they told us no. We told them we would be returning the washer and dryer because we could get them cheaper somewhere else and they said they would be charging us $80.00 to pick them up. We said we would be returning them ourselves and they said that they would have to be returned in mint condition or we would not get our money back. They said that they have a 30 day money back guarantee if we were not satisfied and mentioned nothing about charging us $80.00 to have the washer and dryer returned at the time of purchase. We are extremely dissatisfied with how Lowe's handled this situation and felt we have been totally misinformed about our purchase. We also have stock in the company(Lowe's) and are considering selling that as well and going back to supporting Home Depot. This will probably fall on deaf ears but we feel we have been scammed. Lowe's - firing

Formality is not needed to respond to firing practice of your company employee over a pin promoting christmas. You sell and promote christmas for profit. The fact that one persons complaint can cause this woman to lose her job disgust me to the point that I and my company will no longer purchase thousands of dollars from your business. I and many other...

Lowe's closed account

I recently checked my credit info with trans Union and disputed a balance on my Lowes Visa which should have been O balance. I thought everthing would be taken care of, but to my suprise Lowes visa closed my account without contacting me. When i called them they said that i had a dispute about the balance and wrote a letter to them and requested that my account be closed. I told them i never wrote such a letter and wanted it reopened and was told they could not. Another phone call i was told that i had called in and requested the account be closed this is another lie from Lowes visa i was told if i wanted to write a letter to them and apply again that this is all they could do.

It's amazing that all i was trying to do was correct a mistake that Trans Union had made and Lowes Visa took it upon themselves to just close my account without notice or regard to their customers. I will never buy anything from LOWES again or do business with GE Capital as long as i'm alive and will do my best to let everyone know how they treat their so called customers.

Lowe's backed by ge money bank

If you have any credit cards that are backed by GE Money Bank be forewarned that they are supposedly reviewing ALL credit card accounts and determining by their own methods whose cards they are cancelling. I went to use my Lowe's Visa Credit Card today, that as of two days ago had a $4, 000+ available credit limit, just to be embarrassed when the card was declined at a local JcPenney's. When I contacted Lowe's to find out what was going on, they informed me that GE Money, that backs the Lowes Visa Credit Card, did a large sweep of all accounts and closed them without any prior notification to their customers. I have heard that business is business, but in today's economy when patrons are barely surviving, how in the world could a company pull what may be the only life line that people have - their credit cards? It is basic morals and ethics, we are talking about a time when people should be reaching out to help one another, not throw them under the bus. I am disgusted, embarrassed, and down-right mad! If I can find a legal loop hole, or if anyone knows of one, I sure would like to return the favor to GE Money Bank after what they have put me through. Not just for me, but for all of the unsuspecting people that are planning on using their credit cards to buy Christmas purchases this last weekend before the Holiday. Shame on you GE - you absolutely disgust me! I hope this action of yours turns around and hits you where it hurts the most, because that is what you have done to me and my family this holiday season! MERRY FREAKIN' CHRISTMAS TO YOU TOO! Lowes should have done more to protect their customers, but in the least should have shown enough respect to contact the customers before cancellation to spare them the embarrassment of being declined, in addition to allowing them to figure out another way to finance their Christmas spending. Very bad business practices!

Holders of any Lowes card or other card back by Synchrony Bank who bought GE accounts beware. I have had any card they hold reduced limit wise and then within a span of a couple months close the accounts - even though they had zero balances. They state low credit score from 2 months prior. The accounts when they had balances were always paid on time. They state too high of revolving balances even though all cards I have are 0 except one. This is a very unsavory practice - shame on them. I am so irate that they can get away with this!

I have had several issues using this low'e visa card in Europe. It has been declined and I have spoken to Dan Steinmets that is a manager over the supervisors and he told me to contact him directly before I fly over and he will make sure that I do not have any decline issues anymore... guess what it happened again. I work for a large company and I will be getting the word out with the issues with GE Lowe's visa in my company and hope my fellow co workers understand that you cannot use this card over seas with out costing you money in long distance phone calls to this company to try to get charges to go threw. When I did call in from Europe Dan was not working that day but I got another so called sup. and told them I only had several minutes left on my phone to get this resolved but they made sure they stretched it out so I got disconnected. I will email CEO about the blow off but I am sure that she will do the same. Capital one Venture card is one of the best as they have no exchange fee for international travel and have no issues with card transactions going threw. You do need to have a excellent credit ratting I did get the card with a 795 credit rate.

I got a Lowe's Visa card about 6 years ago with at $5000 credit limit. Over the following 3 years, I maxed it out then paid it off. Next thing I hear, is that they have reduced by credit limit to $1000 telling me that my history was not good; I had too many revolving accounts (I had one other VISA and 2 gas cards); I had a history of delinquency (I always paid my accounts on time); and that I was not considered a good credit risk. 2 years later, they did the same thing again dropping my credit limit to $500 for all the same reasons. Then just this week, they did it once more for all the same reasons to $250.00. They said in their letter my credit score was too low and that it was not likely to increase significantly. In the last 5 months, my score has actually increased by 50 points.

What is with these ###s? This is what they call Lowes VISA Rewards. The reward you by giving you the shaft.

Never never never get a VISA card that is backed by GE Money. You will be sorry.

I have had the same thing happen with my credit card! I called to ask why it said that when I logged on and that she needs to open it back up - she said, I am sorry I cannot do that - you will have to apply again - I said - I am no longer going to use the credit card because of all of the problems i have had with you - i just want you to open it back up because its affecting my credit having it closed. Keep in mind - the card is paid off. She was no help...I also never recieved the $20 certificates that we were supposed to recieve, .
I will NEVER shop Lowes again... Home Depot is the way to go from now on!

I have had my lowes visa credit card for years. I went on a trip to Dallas, TX. Well I got scammed and on my lowes visa they state that they will put a dispute against the company and get your money back. Well they sure did put a dispute in and took the money off of my bill...until the scam company sent a letter to GE stating that i knew about the scam and wasn't fooled by them at all. They claimed i didn't bother to call them to settle my claim. I did and i proved it to GE by sending them my phone bill. GE then, without even telling me, put the charge back on my account. I called them about it and they said they would continue with the dispute. Well i got fooled again because they didn't keep up with the dispute. when i called them again they told me that they sent me a letter explaining that they can't prove anything. They didnt' send me anything! I am canceling my card and i will never have a card owned by GE ever again. Their mistake. I just this card for EVERYTHING...not anymore!

I had mine declined over the summer at a pharmacy for a much needed rx. I called them when I got home and they said they didn't know why! I have been receiving bills in the mail and when I call the automated system to pay it says my account was closed in July and I had a 0 balance, no they are calling me and harrassing me. If it continutes as this is the 1st time it happened I shall call the ATTORNEY GENERAL they are always helpful and on the consumers side. Look them up on line in your state and they will send you a letter to fill out and they will get down to business.

I totally agree with everyone on this blog. I had a CareCredit Account through GE bank, never missed one payment and have not been late on any other cards they closed my account after 3 years of timely payments. Guess we are all just a credit score # anymore, even though most of our money went to bailout the banks who totally did unethical practices. Must be nice to get a bailout and start over...Just wait until the 800 credit score citizens do not need credit, eventually they will have to stasrt taking risks to get more business...SO Much for being a loyal customer...This is a slaa in the face for all of us, better to go bankrupt I guess, lets stop paying GE and then see what happens..;)

Lowe's ripp-off

Complaint
Lowe’s home improvement, orchard park store on transit road.

I was at the register to check out a small item. The charge came to $4.00 and I handed the check out young man a $20.00 (No doubt it was a $20 because it was all that I had with me) he gave me change for a $10.00. I informed him that I gave him a $20 dollar bill and he stated that "I don't think so!" he was rude to start with, as he was talking to an associate while doing a cash transition. The manager told me that he checked the till and it was only off $.39. I told him that what this means to me is that the till was $10.00 short before my transaction. While I was speaking with him he just decided to walk away from me while I was still speaking. This really infuriated me. I told him that I was still speaking to him and to please not to walk away while I was still talking. He stated that he was going to get my $6 dollars change and the receipt. I said fine, right after I am done talking to you. He became very, very rude! Not only did they short change me $10 dollars but I was very insulted by the treatment I received. There is no customer service there. I have spent a few thousand dollars in this store in the past two years and to be treated like this is not the way to keep customers. Besides the fact that they stole $10 dollars from me too!

yes i couldnt agree more, i actually work at lowes and let me tell you LOWES, is all about getting your money and then ### you basicaly
they want you to get the credit cards, and this is the reason why, for one it causes people to come in and buy ### regardless of the fact you dont need these things, and further more the interest, now lowes only approves people with the best credit because they know people will pay these fines and surcharges, thats for the people who actually catch it and not like the honest people that just pay the bill
anyway i could go on all day about the shady ### this company does if your interested in more info email me at kibbekkk@yahoo.com i will tell you all about it, even how to totally rip them off lol

Lowe's - car damage

Yesterday I returned from to my car after buying a few items at Lowes Hardware. I found that one of their huge carts (the type for hauling lumber, not the shopping cart type) had been pushed into the back of my car. I spoke with the assistant manager, the only "authority" on duty about the problem and he suggested I turn it into my insurance company and let...

Lowe's order time

Had to special order a two piece american standard champion4 series toilet be4cause the color was silver on sept. 27. Lead time was supposed to be 6 days as stated on invoice, with delivery 10 / 03. Set was delivered to store, picked up and discovered that the tank was the wrong color. Take tank back and was reordered 10 / 18. Wait&wait. 10 / 31 i'm told on back order and delivery not until 11 / 21. 11 / 21 i'm told projected shipping will be 12 / 1. Ask for any update on 11 / 26 and told no change. Asked plumbing assoc. If they would be willing to deliver and install tank because of pending back surgery (Have now been without 2nd bathroom 2 months) and was told we'll get back to you. Called local supply house and got same tank in 2days. Went back to lowes for credit on my card and they wanted to give it to me in the form of a gift card - that can only be used at lowes. Like i want to shop at lowes again! And the tank was $24 cheaper from the supply house! Buyers beware

Lowe's - space ship ceiling fan

I bought a Harbor Breeze space ship ceiling fan for my 4yr old. He had been wanting it for some time. He was so excited, but when it was installed ( which i had to pay an electrician to do) it did not give any more light than a night light. Very cute in the room but gave NO light, so I now am having to pay to have it taken down drive the 15 miles to town to...

Lowe's specific delivery driver

Today, my wife was leaving from our apartment complex to pick her son (my stepson) from basketball practice. Lowe's happened to be delivering a washer or dryer to a neighbor across from my apartment. One of the two delivery drivers from Lowe's said "Hey" to my wife. My wife, being a nice person, said "Hi" and waved back. The driver then asked my wife to come over there to him and to ask her something. She was hesistant since she didn't know him, but thought he might need directions to get back out of the neighborhood (having never ordered from Lowe's, she didn't know if they were store or a distant warehouse employee). The guy proceeds to try and flirt with my wife. She quickly told him that she was married and walked away. A few minutes later, she calls me and tells me what happened. Instead of going outside and confronting the guy, I kept my cool and waited for my wife to come back and see what she wanted to do. We are currently filing a complaint with Lowe's about this delivery man. My wife and I are both retail managers and found this behavior very unprofessional.

Lowe's bad customer service

I have been waiting for a month for my washer to be fixed. I purchased the lowes extended warranty and they said it is covered. Hoever, I was informed today it will be another week. This plan is useless. Also, no one will return calls from lowes extended warranty even though they said they will. But no one ever does. Poor service. I am not even sure this will ever be fixed.

Our Whirpool Duet broke after less than a year and a half. I thought we were so clever to buy Lowe's Extended Warranty, even though it was a fair amount of money. Clearly, Lowe's has no intention of helping us. They have sent parts, the wrong parts and it has already been more than a month. One person said we could trade in for a new washing machine, but then the latest call they said we need to wait another week. There's no accountability and we are experiencing the same, they don't call back when they say they will. Anyone have any suggestions? This STINKS, and without clean clothes, so do we!
