Love Beal and Nixon started garnishment on my wages then several weeks later I received the notice of garnishment. I asked them to verify 2 credit card debts and they only verified one but are now billing me for 2 differenct cards. The original balance on one was $2500 and the other $5000. They are now garnsihing my wages for almost $600 a month for what they say I owe $17, 000 for the $5000 and over $4000 on the other. I was paying $200 a month but apparently that wasn't good enough.

Love Beal and Nixon are violating title 12 of the oklahoma statue. I have been wanting to get a group of people who are experiencing issues with LBN and see if we can put some type of class action together. One of the reasons I think they are reluctant to provide backup data is that they are padding balances and adding dollars fradulently to increase their revenue. Those SOB's are purchasing old CC debt and I am not sure that most of it is past the statue of limitations for Oklahoma debt. I am willing to go along with going to the media for assistance. I have also filed complaints with the OBA against Shandra McKinney one of the attorney's as well as William Nixon.

I think we need to put all of this together for class action against LBN for undue stress, financial hardship as well as their continued violation of the "Fair Debt Collection Act" and actions within Title 12. I think they are padding balances by thousands of dollars to keep that business open. That is why they refuse to provide documentation of the balance from day one. I am filing a notice of hearing to bring them back into court regarding my issue with this group of thieves. Anyone interested in trying to do something collectively against LBN - please email me at bbmokc@yahoo.com. I am just now starting to work on this - but I think we have some issues that could cost LBN some money.

I have been dealing LBN for quite sometime i had been sendingthem payments of $50.00 monthly at first then i got a divorce and could only send $25.00 the took the payments for over two years and NEVER said anything differently then all of a sudden one day my payroll dept was contacting me with garnishment papers from LBN. For one LBN does not like to provide accurate backup this was from a cc in the early 90's that had a total of $200.00 and they stated I owed $9, 000.00 for this debt...WHAT? Even though i had been making payments and showing i was attempting to pay they sent garnishment papers BUT they were out dated 2006 (were sent in 2009) and they had the wrong employer on paperwork it was a company i had never worked before and when i questioned them and my company I got NO response from LBN and my company stated they had to comply if it is not this company shouldnt they have gone back and corrected it before? I have sent numerous certified letters/faxes to this company as i couldnt correspond any longer via phone b/c they try to intimidate me and all that does is make me more angry and cause me to get loud and they start out hateful and only get worse. They never respond to my leters i have begged and pleaded for them to stop or at least lower the garnishment as this 25% they have been taking has put me in a financial hardship I had even got a second job and it didnt help. I have lost my car and on the verge of losing my house. They do not care! So when I received my first paycheck this year (2011) i added up how much they had taken in 2009/2010/2011 and they had taken well over the $9, 000.00 I contacted them in writing and asked that the garnishment be stopped as they have taken more than what THEY say was owed and three days later I received a new "continued" garnishment for almost $2, 600 which will take all year to pay off andi am sure they will tack on more cost to just keep it going and going and going! I can not afford a lawyer and i have tried legal aid BUT i make too much money they say and will not take into account all that is garnished each month i was told it is USABLE income...HUH it is not usable by me! So every 180 days they go back to court (which i am never notified of the court date) get a continued garnishment and tack on court costs and lawyer fees. I am looking to anyone that can help me with this total nightmare of a company. I am to the point of taking it to the tv stations for exposure and possibly get some help that way.
