Lous Police Supply / lousy customer service

Be careful when you purchase anything from this business. If you get a product that is defective, they will not exchange it. They will treat you like ### and tell you to contact the manufacturer. Very poor customer service.

    I have been buying product fron Lou's for over a decade and they have been around since 1954.
    Never had an issue. Maybe this guy is mad because the warantee for guns is that of the manufacturer and not the shop selling the firearm. Most cases service for new guns with issues has to be done by the maker or the warantee is voided.

    There are over a dozen customer service people in this store on any given day and they have all been helpful to me.

    Finally can you not express yourself without vulgarity?

    I disagree with MiamiAl, I too have been dealing with them for over a decade. Even if you think Lou's has bad customer service, I guarantee you will not find a better gun shop in miami. They have the best prices, and have a pretty good inventory on stock. If they don't have what you are looking for, they will order it for you.

    As far as warranties go, you should deal with the manufacturer. I know that many people are accustomed with their local store to deal with warranty issues, but the reality today is that you must deal with the manufacturer, which is why I make sure to buy products made by companies that are reputable in terms of quality and service.

    The only other gun shop that I've found to be decent is Florida Armory, I tend to think they are worse in every respect... and Ace's would be third in the Miami area.

    I totally agree with ALMiami, yes they have some rude ### reps. Who think they know it all and treat you like ###. I also have purchase a few firearms form them and the last time I went I was in the market for a SW 629, I saw one and this kid got mad cause I told him the gun was defective and I wanted to see another one. Personally I feel like I have to inspect the gun before I go ahead and pay for it because if its defective they will be the first to say, oooohhhppppsss no we cant take it back, u gotta deal with the manufacturer. Ohhh and never place a special order with them cause u wont see the gun till about two months thats how long their special orders take to arrive. Is only a few people there that are polite like the old spanish fellow at gun sales, other than that they are a bunch of rude tards...Never ever catchin my butt up there again...

    I had the same negative experience. I'd rather pay more and get treated with decency and respect. I need gear and ammo. As soon as my gun arrives I am out of there. They will never see another penny from me. PS don't expect a smile or thank you "Ray".
