Hi,

This complaint is regarding the severe ill-effect I have been facing by using L'Oreal Pearl Perfect Day Cream.
Immediately after applying the L'Oreal Pearl Perfect Day cream on my face I experienced severe burning sensation on my face; as the same was unbearable, I washed my face with water within 1 minute but the itching and burning persisted till the next day. But to my utter disgust, I was shocked to look at my face next morning. My face skin was completely burnt, and was left with Water bobbles & dark patches all around the face. I washed my face with water, but there was no relief. The face continues to remain dark, with burnt patches on many parts on my face. I have been consulting a dermatologist and am under medication, but the physical and mental trauma is still continuing. I called up the local customer care of L'oreal to lodge a complaint(Ref No:190368, Contacted person: Laxmi & Manpreet Aroda); however was grossly disappointed with their response. It was shocking to hear them say that they would refund the cost of the face cream; How can a company like Loreal, which claims to be global brand, be so irresponsible with its consumers? My objective is to raise this issue in this forum, so that other customers are
aware of such irresponsible brands and their harmful products, and also to make a note to the company (Loreal India Pvt Ltd) to take below mentioned actions.
- accept the blame of the faulty product
- bear my medicale expense
- compensate for the physical & mental pain that I been going through.

If no such actions are taken by the company, then i would not be left with any option other than going for legal proceedings.

Regards,
SN

After using Loreal Voluminous Original mascara, my eyelids started itching, burning, turning red to my brows, then crusting over. This lasted for over a week! I finally went to Dr who gave me steroid shot, antibiotic eye drops and antibiotic cream. Wondering if I am the only one this has happened to. Never before with any other mascara.

I purchased the Perfecting Base on 12/23/12 and when I opened the jar the next day I noticed that the contents is solidified. I tried to use it but it leaves a chalky residue on the face. I had purchased, used and loved this product before and it is more of an emulsion or serum. Last night 1/18/13, I went to Walmart to get me a new jar but when I opened it the contents was also solidified. This is a costly product and I want full reimbursement or replacement.

I purchased Loreal 9 1/2NB LIGHTEST NATURAL BLONDE. for my gray hair which was just as shown on the box..(& I thought finally a L'Oreal color for me !

WHAT A SHOCK WHEN---it came out yellow blond. NOT ANYTHING as shown the color shown on the box..._any suggestions on how I can take it off ! This is the first dissapointed with L'OREAL ! please look at the color on the box, , (it was just what I had been looking for --NO BLOND IN IT ) Thank you for the past products that I have purchased.

I have bought the l'oreal bronzing spray twice now and both tops have clogged up and come off after using only a few times. They were from my local asda costing £12 pounds each, they would not give me cedit and told me to sent them back to you. I thought by buying a more expensive make, it would be better quality, obviously not.

I have used Loreal Paris- Color Casting hair colors twice... They are just useless and wastage on money and time.
I got the effect for first day, 2nd day till 10th day.. the the color is gone...
Its so sad to see grey hairs within 15 days after application done...
Earlier i thought may be its first time so i might have washed my hairs more...
But the truth is this is 2nd time happening the same.
I applied this colur on 25th Jan 2012... And on 10the Feb 2012 i say color gone with grey hairs on top...
I tried Plum Color twice... Really i regret using it and wasting money & application time.

I have tried Casting Creme Gloss for the first time, and although the colour is good the process of mixing the tube and bottle proved difficult. I have coloured my hair for the past 15 years and never experienced any difficulty with any other product before. The tube wouldn’t squeeze in the bottle hence the dye all over my sleeve and bathroom cupboard. I found it too much like hard work. Though, the result of the colour when final done is very good. Please can you make this process simpler. Try using plastic bottles for both liquids instead of tube. Thanks youa9736

Maybe it's me, but I can't seem to figure out how to advance the stub of my Extra Intense liquid pencil eyeliner. I'm twisting and turning and pushing, but I can't get any more pencil, and it's brand new!

Hi,
This is with regard to complaint against Loreal White Perfect Fairness Control moisturizer.
I bought combo pack of Loreal White Perfect day cream and night cream. After 2-3 days of usage of Day cream, I started experiencing itchiness on my skin from 4th day onwards. By the way my skin is not very sensitive, I have combination skin type.
I was wondering that Loreal being one of the biggest brands in the world will definitely have good products with benefits. But after using White Perfect Fairness Control day cream, I am not sure if I will buy any other product of Loreal.

I too am very displeased that the entence pencil eyeliner is one trick pony. It would been proper for L'Oreal to at least say on the package that this product cannot be sharpened. Once it is used up just throw it away and spend another $8.00 to $10.00 on this stuff. No worry, I will never buy it again. I'll simply goback to Avon, they have a twist cap so you can use it all up over several months. But te Bare Naturale face powder is great. You got that right. See you at Wal-mart soon.

I purchased Revitalift Laser Renew las week. After only two applications the skin on my face and neck also broke into hives, my face feels as if burning from fever, very itchy, dry and tense. If this ismthing that has happened before, how comes the product is still on the market. What are they waiting for to recall it?

I also had a horrendous reaction to Castings, after using it for 5 years or
I had the most horrible, dangerous and painful reaction, The pain I went through was unbearable, like my head was dipped in acid and it was burning me with ferocious depth...for hours after I rinsed it off, (and I only had it on for 10 minutes) it was so intense and unbearable that according to my sister that was here with me, I was holding my head and screaming and crying. I was in such a shock that I can hardly remember what i was doing.
I put ice all over my head and soaked it with rose water to calm it ... and keep the acid feeling down.
I could not open my eyes as they were so bloodshot that there was no white on them, only blood, the colour was mixed with the read almost disappearing into the red, it was horrific and terrifying... they were like two balls of blood, and burning and hurting me really badly.
My hair has been falling off a lot after that and still is a bit.
It is possible that that has caused the damage to my cornea .THIS IS NOT JOKE.
There is no excuse for this.
I have been using this product for over 5 years.
This lead me to investigate the product further, finding that the PPD which is in almost all hair dyes, and more so in dark colours, has very detrimental effects to health, there has been at least two cases of young girls dying in UK.
L'oreal is a huge multinational, they are pretty ruthless and they simply dont take responsibility for their products that cause so much damage.
I had damage in the
of my eyes, plus suffer excruciating pain as if my head was dipped in acid.
I am in dubai visiting family.
And as you, loreal has taken no responsibility and trying to blame me also .

Loreal is multi billion dollar company, that's let's face it,
Does not care one bit about its consumer or consumer safety.
I've been doing much research since my allergic reaction to down town brown hair color and received severe chemical burns and permanent hair loss,
Loreal has the most, of all leading beauty companies, when it comes to reactions and ill effects related to product use.
Loreal also has the most customer complaints.
Il never use another product made by loreal and I'm in price OF TRYING TO START A CLASS ACTION LAW SUIT FOR ANYONE WHO ELSE who has suffered from loreal feria hair color.
Regardless if a lame little warning sign on the side of the box, it is not warning enough.
Loreal needs to make safer products and stand behind them when something unfortunate does happen.
I was treated coldly by Carmela a total b customer service rep for loreal and basically blamed and made to feel stupid for having such a horrible reaction to a product her company makes.
loreal sucks!

Hello,

I got my hair rebonding done from Blonde N Bliss (L'oreal Professional) from The Great India Place _ Noida on 7th august 2013. They Charged me Rs.7865 for the service. Now the problem is:-
1- Though they charged me Rs 7000 + 865(12.36 service tax), they didn't give me the proper bill. When I went again on 9th August 2013-for hair wash I asked them about the bill n they said its your fault, You didn't take the bill .
2-My hair rebonding was not done effectively n the result is not at all satisfactory. Before Starting the process I specifically told the guy my problem areas(as its not the first time I was getting it done).Still he was so casual in his approach.I told him that i want the result in first time as i don't want to go through the tedious process again(as it happened earlier also with my local parlor) . So I spent this much just to assure that its a l'oreal professional parlor and I'll get the best of the services.
Now, though owner himself offered me to get the rebonding done. But I don't want it as it will spoil my hair and also i don't want to go through the process again as i already wasted my 4 hours there. Also, i could have gone for this option with my local parlor in lesser amount

Now, I am continuously trying to contact the owner Mr. Karan Dhupar, and he is ignoring my calls I am facing the major hair fall problem because of the chemicals, and Iseriously don’t trust them so I Just want the refund of the amount as no service was provided to me. Request you to please help me in this.

I too have had a very bad reaction and been hospitalised after using L'oreal cream. Where is the warning on the jar that this may happen, it has happened to lots of people so there should be warning and a recommendation to do a patch test. This is just irresponsible of L'oreal.

^^ I seriously distrust brands claiming herbal contents in their products. Be it EverYuth(the worst), Dabur, Himalaya, Biotique, Blossom Kocchar, Shehnaz Hussain, Avon Naturals, Oriflame or others, I've tried the whitening/lightening/fairness ranges of all. I've been doing this since 2003.
Needless to say, I've had exteme reactions (tiny red bumps) and burning/tingling sensation either immediately or after some days of using the product.
The only kind of skincare I now trust is the NON-Herbal kind. And Loreal tops the charts..

I've been using LOreal White Perfect (Now white Perfect) range (particularly the night cream) since 2005. Since I buy every 6-8 months, I seem to have used their product from a number of different batches. And had no reaction with the normal usage of their products-- with only 1 exception-- when I used too much of the product. Only in that case I get red bumps.

Strong products should be used regularly but in small pea-sized quantity. Its not the regular Fair&lovely stuff that you could apply handfuls of.

So, moderation, and regular usage is what works for me. And yes, it really, really removes tan, and whitens the skin over time. I have not seen any good or fast results with any other product in the Indian market.

I should say that if any product could whiten your skin, that is L'oreal's white Perfect range (particularly night cream-- it does 80% of the work). I trust no others-- not even the expensive ones like Chanel or Elizabeth Arden.

Of course, my review may give indications of being written off by someone hired by L'Oreal but if that would be the case, we should have had this post on this page 2 years back.. not now.. ! Rest, its upto our indian consumers to trust a global brand... Loreal.. After all... You're worth it!

Did they offer to exchange them for you? Wil the tops fit back on if so try washing them under a hot tap and putting them back on. If not go back to Asda stating the items are not fit for purpose and are defective as the sales of goods act state you are entitled to either a refund or an exhange, you do not need to contact Loreal as your contract of sale is with Asda.

Use organic natural brands like derma e, eminence etc. Global chemical cosmetics are designed to use cheap products and make money on you! the worst is Estee Lauder. I am a former skin care specialist. do not buy anything with parabens. use your critical thinking. most chemical cosmetic lines (all the big ones) would not help you in case of any problems. they would only refund your product.

I had bad results too. A severe allergic reaction and I was hospitalised. I complained to L'Oreal Paris in London and they paid for examination by a dermatologist, he upheld my complaint, but they refused compensation and said "case closed"! So much for Revitalift Day the MANY wrinkle cream!

Yes i too faced the same problem. Bought that cream by seeing the brand name. But not at all worth for money. It spoiled my skin, got lots of small boils all over my neck and cheeks. I consulted with dermatologist. Still didnt recover fully, so kindly requesting everyone not to buy "LOREAL PEARL PERFECT DAY CREAM". I never tried any other products in Loreal. Dont even have second thought to Try.
