Lordshopping.com review: SCAM!!!!! Rude!!! Poor business practice!!!! RIP OFF!!! 5

We ordered a kaito 800 weather radio from this company and received a kaito 801 radio. The radio we ordered was more expensive and had a lot more features. We specifically ordered the ka800 for the weather radio. We emailed Evan at the email given to us by Paypal and on the website ([protected]@aol.com) and placed numerous calls to the company
[protected]) and left messages on the number provided on the website. The website states 24/7 customer service monday through friday which is funny because no one ever picks up or returns any calls or emails. This item was for a gift that we were never able to give because the owner never got back to us to help us with the return. The website states easy returns. This is not true! The website also states that if the company provides a customer with the wrong product, they will send a prepaid shipping label to the customer to return the product at no charge. This is not true at all! Luckily, we payed through Paypal and were able to get reimbursed our money. This was after Paypal requested that I drove 20 minutes to the post office and payed my own shipping rates to mail the wrong radio back. I also had to pay for a tracking number to give to Paypal so they could track when the seller got the item. I was so angry, I tried calling the Lord Shopping number again that day. Finally Even picked up. He was very rude when I told him the situation and he had awful customer service. He told me" the ka800 is no longer being made, so I sent you the next best product. I told him "you cannot send a customer a wrong product because you no longer have the one they ordered in stock, and a cheaper one at that." and on top of it, he did it all without even contacting me. He argued with me on the phone, which any good business practice knows...the customer is always right. We just don't want to see other customers fall for this scam that we fell for. It is a real headache and places like this company should not be online selling to good people and ripping them off! Hope this helps others online, and I would always recommend paying through Paypal just to be safe. You never know what screw balls are out there!
