LongHorn Steakhouse waitress

Good evening my name is Nina Davis. I am writing you in regards to the customer service me and my family received on Saturday Aug. 11, 2018. My family from out of town came down to visit us and I offered to take them out to eat with my family so we decided to go to longhorns steakhouse because that is my family's favorite eating place! Well as we sat down to eat the waitress started off rude. We just kinda brushed it off but as we got our food the waitress had an attitude and continued to be very rude! I was so embarrassed because we had bragged so much about longhorn to our family. I tried to tell the manager in charged but they both acted like it was no big deal. I can't believe how awful they was and didn't even apologise at all I it was a uncomfortable situation on day day me and my family was suppose to having a nice evening outting and they ruined it! And not to mention the bill was over $150 dollars For us to eat. If I new we were going to be disrespected I would have went to mcdonalds! We are all so upset! If you can please contact me back on this matter I would be so greatful. My email is [protected]@yahoo.com Thanks in advance!

LongHorn Steakhouse service

On Sunday August 12, 2018, I posted a review on YELP about the poor and unacceptable service my family and I received. I was hoping I would get a reply from management about my experience at their location, however, I still have not received any contact. This matter is still very much bothering me. I would hope that the corporate office of this establishment would at the very least, acknowledge my dissatisfaction.

The following is the YELP review I left the night of my visit.

SO disappointed and upset! Tonight 9/13/18, I brought my family to celebrate my son and daughter's birthday. I arrived at 8:09. I was told by the hostess she would clean off a booth and get us seated promptly. I told her that would be great. At 8:30 when my family arrived we were STILL WAITING. I think the hostess sensed that I was getting upset so she told me my server stepped out for just a second and we would be seated. After about 5 minutes we FINALLY get seated. Everything was fine until we ordered. We waited and waited then I noticed everyone around us getting their food but us. Some of who were seated well AFTER us. NOW, I'm getting angry! This was suppose to be a special night! The food comes and that was a mess too! They didn't bring out my side. I had to ask for mine. My son did NOT get his side. I had to ask TWICE but by then he was practically done with his meal. He ended up NOT eating it. I lost my appetite because of the poor service from beginning to end! Our bill was $117.38. I am so disappointed. There was absolutely no apologies for the wait, the poor service and forgetting of the food. By the way, when the sides did come, they tried to give it to another table. REALLY? This place wasn't even that busy! This is unacceptable! I refused to leave a tip, however, my son my have. I will say, if he did leave a tip it was because even AFTER this joke of a meal he believes the server did something. For the service we received, I would NOT have a left a nickle! If I EVER go to Longhorns again, I will take my family to another location!

LongHorn Steakhouse manager issue

First let me say that this is my favorite restaurant and my family choose her to eat for any celebration dinner that we may have, which is why i was shocked at the treatment my family and i received on yesterday, 8/14/18. We were seated in a booth, the waiter took our order(nice guy), service was great from him, but as we sat there, the manager went to the family seated in front of us, asked if everything was okay, if the food was okay, and introduced himself as the new manager, Alan Stirewalt. He then turned and walk right passed our booth. A second family of whom was white as well, like the other family, was seated next to us at a table and after they received their food he again walked over to them asked was everything okay and again walked right passed us, never even acknowledged us at all. So we paid our ticket which was over 80.00 dollars, and proceeded to leave. The other waiter's and waitress'es along with the manager were standing by the door as we left the restaurant, they all said thank you and have a nice night except the manager, really, i have never been treated like that, my family and i were very unhappy with how we were treated.and probably will rethink about eating there again!

LongHorn Steakhouse service

Last night while dining at the Longhorn steakhouse with my friend. I witnessed a manager yell and belittle the server who was serving us . I asked my server Denise what the managers name was she said Megan. We had terrific service and a nice meal but that display probably will send us elsewhere next time. It made us feel very uncomfortable. Surely a more professional way was available for her to speak to this woman.

LongHorn Steakhouse service of manager kyle drake

Called for takeout on Friday, August 3rd at around 20 after 5. Placed my order and was told 30 minutes. I ordered 2 Parmesan crusted chicken dinners with extra cheese, 1 with dry broccoli and the other with rice. I added an additional side of rice on the side. When I arrived, the bartender went through my order and I saw the extra cheese was placed on the side. I explained to her that I wanted it on the chicken and didn't want to have to take this home to now microwave my protein to melt the extra cheese. She was friendly and had no problem fixing the issue. However when I watched it be taken to the back the manager gave it to the line and they put the boxes in the microwave. I asked to speak to the manager and said to him I didn't want my food just placed in the microwave n reheated like that as I could have done that myself at home. I paid over $40 for the two meals and after having waited the time for my food, I was now waiting additional time for the mistake to be fixed which is fine, but not to have my food not be fresh now. When I told him I didn't want it microwaved he was like fine and went in the back I guess to fix it. I ended up waiting over an hour from the time I called for the order to be corrected and when I got home the broccoli was completely raw and inedible. When the bartender brought the food back out I asked to speak to the manager again as he never even came back out to assure everything was correct or even offer an apology for the mistake. I said to him I'm disappointed my food was going to be microwaved and sent back out like that was good enough, especially being that when I ordered I expected fresh food. He then tried to tell me that never happened and they were microwaving something else in my takeout boxes, but everything was wrapped separately as the broccoli and rice were in smaller Togo boxes. He walked away without offering as little as an apology, let alone anything else. It was such a disappointing meal and experience even once I got the food home because we waited all that time for it to be corrected just for the sides to be cold and undercooked. I was shocked by the fact he didn't seem to care either.

LongHorn Steakhouse Service/ Wrong Order

On Friday 7/27/18 @ 6pm I took two out of town family members and my husband and I to our local Longhorn steakhouse (2400 N Monroe Street Tallahassee, Florida 32303) The waitress we had was just unbelievably incompetant she never once brought us a drink refill (we had to ask another waitress) neither did she take away any dirty dishes, menus ect. We were in a smaller booth do it was really overwhelming trying to eat. When she finally brought our salads she forgot to leave off onions which we requested and one person's salad dressing. Snyder was so long bringing the salads that poor meal came shortly after. Then I noticed my steak was a sirloin and not the ribery I had requested. I was so frustrated at this point and didn't want to ruin the time with my family I just ate some of it. I did call a manager but he seemed to not have time for us because so many things were going wrong this night, our waitress had just dropped a whole tray of drinks on someone. I personally think she was stoned and my family agrees. I spent over $150.00 this night for lousy lousy food and worse service!

LongHorn Steakhouse the host

Hello on tonight me and my husband went to Longhorn Steakhouse in Madison, Ms. We had been seating for a while to be seated. It was 2 different set of people who came right on in and got seated before me and my husband. I asked the host what was going on and she stated the people called and reserved a table before hand. I found that very strange being that I placed a called earlier today to reserve a table and they told me they don't do that. We were highly upset with what had just happened so me and my husband left and took our business else where. We will never go back to Longhorn in Madison again because they have awful service.

LongHorn Steakhouse lunch

I order every week and the last couple of times I had to wait past my scheduled time. On an average I spend $30+ dollars on 2 lunches a couple times a week. Yesterday my time was 1:20. I did not receive my steak which was medium rare until 1:33. That may not seem like much time difference but by the time I drover back to the office (this was take out) my steak was well done! Barely could cut it. I also did not get any plastic ware to which I selected on the online order. We had to search for plastic ware to eat our lunch. The couple of times before I would have to go and find wait staff to get someone to bring out my order and to ring me up. They are very polite but the service needs work. Last week I ordered for dinner which I do often and they did not even have bread cooked. I order the spinach parm with cheese because my daughter eats it on the bread. I will still go back but they really need some management.

LongHorn Steakhouse cleanliness

My boyfriend and I frequent this establishment almost every Sunday. It is so dusty in here. Its so dusty that the horses and cowboys look white! I'm all for making the place look like it has a western theme, but cringe at the fact that the air ducts haven't been cleaned since this place opened. Now, we pay good money here, I feel that I shouldn't have to eat in a dust mite environment. Thanks for your concern in this matter and I look forward to hearing from you. See attached receipts and pictures.

LongHorn Steakhouse customer service

on 7/28/18 at your Largo MD location my family from Cleveland Ohio decided they want to dine at your establishment upon our arrival we were informed by management that they could not accommodate us now we were a party of 18 but it was not crowded as a matter of fact there was 4 tables with 4 chairs at each table now because this is not an establishment that requires a reservation we did not think it was necessary to call a head further more we pass several places we could but they wanted this. We came all the way from Queens Chapel RD Hyattsville MD in horrific traffic due to the Beyonce & Jay Z concert. To be fair he did eventually say he could seat us but he would have to spread us out that was not an option we had kids and elderly people in our party so in closing I would add how terribly disappointed I was to have to go all the way back and eat right next to my home at Atlantic Seafood where they excepted us with open arms I am so certain if the Carters would have showed up with there potsie your establishment would have gladly seated them

Thank You

Veronica Morris

LongHorn Steakhouse bill

I ordered two take out dinners on July 25, 2018. My bill was $62.++. I gave the cashier my debit card, as she gave me the receipt to sign, I requested a second loaf of bread. I was charged an addition $1.12. If I had eaten in Longhorn I would have been able to get an extra 1 or 2 loaf upon request at no extra charge. I found the charge to be inappropriate.
Thank you for your time.

LongHorn Steakhouse service

What i didn't appreciate is
that we were being questioned about our order.
The mushrooms are really good so we ordered two servings and the waitress said are you Sure you want mushrooms you ordered two porterhouse steaks meals

Are you kidding me i looked at my husband as we were being questioned.
We were made to feel as if we weren't able to afford the order and she made us feel like she thought we were going to run. I ordered the Longhorn and got something different upon complaining the Longhorn was received.
And to add insult to injury we waited at the bar No service, and the bartender turned out to be our waitress .We spent close to two hundred dollars.
Service was poor and waitress unattendative.

LongHorn Steakhouse cleanliness/food

Today we went to have lunch at the Longhorn location in Homestead, Florida and there was a bug in the Caesar salad. The bug was alive and moving. Immediately we called the waitress and decided to leave. What should have been an enjoyable meal became a nightmare because it caused me to regurgitate. As a consumer, I trust that a restaurant will provide excellent service, a clean environment, and good tasting food. Today I got none of that. Please see attached picture.

LongHorn Steakhouse service

I cant believe how poor the service and hospitality is at the tuscaloosa al location. I waited 25 min at the bar to place a order to go and I watched the bartender wait on two different couples that came after me . Nobody never offered me a menu or anything. I guess because I'm a African American I guess that I'm suppose to wait for everybody else to get their food or orders first I'm gonna make sure I put this situation so people can know what type of service they may receive based on skin tone. So unprofessional.

LongHorn Steakhouse food - florence, s.c.

I went to celebrate yesterday, Sunday @ a beautiful staffed restaurant that I haven't gone to in over a year. Only reason was my father's health grew to the last stages of Alzheimer's disease. He died last September. I was finally able to go back for a new celebration.
The ONLY issue I had was the FOOD (photo included). The bread of course was still delicious but not as hot. The salad came out and instead of Caesar salad it was HUGE wedges of lettuce with too much cheese. Ugh. I barely ate it and yes I was starving. Time for my entree a rib-eye steak with baked potato very simple order. First I noticed it was SO MUCH juice on the steak I assumed it wasn't done. It was done but the juice ran off into my potato. The bake potato did not appeared to be fully cooked. I then took 3-4 small bites of my steak since the potato wasn't edible. What a nasty seasoned taste. It wasn't like the past thousands of times I've been there. The season changed and tasted like someone poured a pound of peppery substance that over powered the flavor.
I went home hungry and took my food home. I didn't complain because the actually service of Tre (Luther) and the fact we seen a FAVORITE server Johnny made our celebration worth not enjoying our food.
The service, the hostess and even the manager was excellent. Question did we go out to eat and leave hungry? BUy the way, I mentioned to daughter did she enjoy the her food and she also said her parmesan chicken didn't taste good either but the service was OUTSTANDING.

LongHorn Steakhouse service we received

On July -6-18 Friday night around 9pm. First it took 30 mins to get drinks & we only got someone because we stop her as she was walking by our table. She brought one water & a tea but it was four people in our group. We finally just went to the bar ourselves & got our drinks. 20 mins later our server who name is John came to our table & ask if we wanted another server because we stopped someone else to get our drinks! very rude in the way he talked to us & his attitude was very poor to be a server! Finally we order our food & we asked for a refilled on tea & he told us when he gets time! We request to speck with him manager but it took another 30 mins for him to come to our table his name was Wilson! It's now 10 clock pm & we still haven't got our food! After speaking with Wilson things didn't get any better! We ended up leaving & never eating food because it never came to our table! Me & my husband was in town visiting friends & family & the service we got from longhorn steakhouse in Roanoke Va was very upsetting! & wrong on so many different levels! This type of service need to be stopped !

LongHorn Steakhouse from a distressed mom - asked to sit baby down

Last night on July 06, 2018 around 7:40 p.m. we were seated at table 43 at Longhorn Steak House in Mobile Alabama store 5588. I welcomed this anticipated opportunity to eat at Longhorn because I had been craving a Flo's Filet since Longhorn reopened in February. Yes I could have ordered to go, but I enjoy the dining experience and so it was settled. On this particular Friday night, we had to bring our children to dine with us (which they are comfortable with dining out) and we usually have them with us because it is a family and that is what families do. Our kids are 2 and 5.
After we were seated, we ordered a glass of wine followed by an appetizer and then our main courses. Tyler P, our waiter was awesome and everything was going great. My husband noticed that our child had become uncomfortable sitting in the high chair and we agreed to move her beside him in the seat. Again she just turned 2. I noticed a family with a similar set up as ours and we began to talk about how brave we were to be out with our two year olds. While I was speaking with them a hostess came over to my husband after she sat guests behind him and said "Will you sit your child down". This was unbeknownst to me as I was wrapping up my conversation with the other guests. After my conversation, my husband informed me of the incident. I was so livid I asked for a manager. Mr. Chad Allsup came over and tried his best show he cared and apologize but honestly I was not impressed. I think he was nervous or maybe he thought his hostess was right. He gave me his card and asked that I ask for him when we returned... I thinking for what? I felt more comfort from my waiter Tyler P than this Manager. Nothing the Manager said was reassuring. Actually I left the restaurant feeling like I had to leave. My dining experience was ruined. My child was not being disruptive. It was not in what Mr. Allsup said but maybe what he did not say or do. My toddler was being a toddler. Maybe the host shouldn't have sat the guest behind us. Maybe we should have been sat in chairs oppose to a booth, but our child was being two and sometimes they will stand in a booth. She shouLd not have said anything. I felt like the hostess she have been made to apologize. It was not the fact that I was looking for a discount on $98.46 meal which was $113.46 after we provided a gratuity to our wonderful waiter but I need it some extra comfort and to be honest I don't know what that would have been being that the event had already happened. Mr Chad Allsup indicated that maybe the hostess could have been more friendly when she asked us to sit our child, I replied maybe she may not have said anything at all. I am a guest. I am a customer. I did not appreciate this encounter. I am dissatisfied with Longhorn. What type of people are we cultivating? Could this interaction been avoid? Is training required? I am a Manager and managing can be hard but I expect more from my dining experience and where I choose to spend my money. I can move past bad food but I can not move past the feeling that Longhorn does not accommodate or take in consideration parents with small children who are brave enough to want to have a great dining experience and introduce their children to one as well. Maybe we can discuss ideas in how to make Darden restaurants more kid friendly ([protected]@yahoo.com).

LongHorn Steakhouse terrible service not enough servers, bad experience overall

We went in this 4th of July. Now, to credit the bartender, she had the bar and tables in the dining room ( I worked as a server in college, I get it) they should have put a wait vs kept on seating, there was only her and another server, maybe 1 more, but not sure. due to how busy she was, the service was terrible. drinks were empty for extended amounts of time, and everything took forever. not entirely her fault, management should have stepped in, but they were non-existent until the end. My salad wasn't the right size for the upcharge, and when I said something to the waitress, she said, " I can get you a plate to spread it out on, and I bet its the same amount" ? ummm no, not the right answer and the salad was almost soup with all of the dressing.
after waiting a log time, our lunch finally came out, it was incorrect, but at this point, we just asked for boxes and to leave. it didn't even phase her to notice that our food wasn't even touched, we were unhappy, our drinks were empty and the salad was already spoken about, but nothing had been done.
then we had to wait another 15 minutes or so just for our boxes and ticket. I saw some woman at that point, whom I thought might be a manager, but she was just bussing tables, not even trying to go to the tables and see if everyone was ok...with the obviously slammed employees and entirely too many tables open for anyone to even possibly be able to handle them with the care that they need...especially with the menu prices, its not a upscale steakhouse, but a steakhouse, and I can get better service at Logan's.
I asked the "manager" if I could just get our ticket and boxes so that I can leave. instead of getting them herself...she goes to the bartender/server and tells her that we're waiting on them. that was terrible service, didn't ask why our meals were untouched, if she could do anything...nothing...just came back to the table to tell us that she was working on it.
On top of all of this, I am 9 months pregnant, this was the worst experience I have ever had and will not be going back to a LongHorn and I happen to like eating there, we frequent there at lest once a month...or we did...not after this.
I feel like we were ripped off of our $50 meal, and didn't even get to enjoy it.
management is whom I put mostly at fault. you can't let your servers have that many tables and properly serve the guests. ...they should be patrolling the restaurant instead of staying hidden when there is a rush like that and there isn't enough help.
the bartender/server has partially at fault for not making sure that the customer was happy. we are paying for a service, and we didn't get service at all. she did say at the end, I'm sorry that you were neglected. if it was known that we were neglected, there should have been something done about it...not letting customers leave with their food that they don't want in a box and the incorrect salad that was charged extra for on the table. it was a terrible experience.
