LongHorn Steakhouse poor service

Last night 4/17, my husband and I went to Longhorns Rest in Farmingdale NY. I was our 53rd wedding anniversary. Arrived at 5:00 PM was seated right away. The waitress showed up at 5:15 to take our drink orders, they came at 5:30. She finally took our dinner order at almost 5:45? After that she NEVER showed her face to us, never asked if we needed anything which I did need sour cream and never got, Never asked if we needed a refill on our drinks, which my husband would have liked!
Dinner was good as usual but the service sucked. No manager came by to see if everything was good which most restaurants do. I was a little turned off last night with the service at this restaurant. Waitress was frazzled she had to many tables to serve and she couldn't keep up with the flow. Very disappointed to say the least.

LongHorn Steakhouse bad service and order was inaccurate

My name is Rykeith Cain and I am very unhappy with the service that I received at your Westhore / Tampa Florida location. I have reach out to have someone contact me but have gotten no response back . I would like to be refunded all the money I spent dining at your location or at the very least a gift certificate that I can use at another location. My anniversary was completely ruined by the service and food received at your establishment. My bill was 70.00 for barely touched food and the management was not considerate at all of my complaints. LongHorn Steakhouse 9111 east 71st st. tulsa ok 74133

Yesterday was my daughters birthday. We had a part of 5, for dinner at Longhorn Steakhouse. Weve never eaten there before. So, i am the mother of the birthday girl about our experience. First i call 39 min before leaving to get an address. A man answered and instead of giving me an address he had an attitude and told me to look it up on google sarcastically. So i hung up.
The waitress was excellent. She did no wrong doing. I first noticed my silverware was dirty. Then the rest of the family noticed a fork, knife, or spoon had food stuck on theirs.
So we get our salads, and the lettuce was old. Their was a lot of water (from my guess, being washed(?) in my salad bowl and on my lettuce. My son, he had his salad flooded with ranch. I noticed my daughter picking at our appetizer dish. There was old dry piece of food stuck on it🤮
So, were all pretty grossed out at this point. We didnt say anything because we didnt want to make a big deal on my daughters birthday...
so my daughters steak looked like a hamburger patty. She didnt touch it. My steak was bloody🤮i like very well done. Blood disgusts me. And as you can imagine how every one elses plates were😩 all of our drinks had no ice because it was melted soon as we got our drinks😳 yuck! The bread brought to us was hard😳my daughters birthday sunday was mainly whipped cream!😂😂😂
So, my husband and i paid OVER $200... Over $200!😳
So, i just wanted to say something... We will never go to Longhorn ever again.

LongHorn Steakhouse food served

My wife and I ordered 2 ribeye dinners, when we got the dinners they weren't rib
Eye at all seemed to be poor quality sirloin. Due to circumstances we ate what we got without complaints, sorry to complain now but this shouldn't happen. This was april 2nd, garner nc store. Ate at this same store several times in past year, working here, and numerous times at the local store where we live. Always got what I ordered and quality food.

Why didn't you complain at the time? They could have done something to remedy the situation. Whining about it on some random website after the fact will solve nothing.

LongHorn Steakhouse product and service

This makes the 2nd time coming to Longhorn and being very unsatisfied with food and service. 20 minute wait that's wasn't bad for a Sunday. Got our table waitress comes no silverware was 1 thing because we didn't get silverware until our food was brought out and was told they are low on dishes. 2. My appetizer was Bang Bang shrimp with no peppers cooked well not burnt had to send them back. 3rd My husband lamb chops was not medium well my steak wasn't hot sent them back had to ask waitress for bread. My husband was upset because he didn't get fresh food and steak and lamb chops was dried out from reheat the waitress took forever to come and check on us.. It will be a longtime before we go back we love Long horn eat there once or twice a month and Long horn started serving lamb chops we was very disappointing. We spend a lot money with Long horn including birthdays. Not a satisfied customers.

LongHorn Steakhouse greasy odor throughout room inferior food, messy and sloppy dining area, loud noise level,.

Spoke to a rep two to three weeks ago. He informed me that I should be receiving some compensation in the mail for the terrible experience I had at this particular venue. My time was wasted, filling our the form, and then speaking to him. I would appreciate an acknowledgement of this email.in addition to the above description, the clothing I wore reeked of the greasy smell and I had to launder them silverware and glasses seemed to have a film on them. He told me that he spoke to the manager of that particular restaurant and that the carpets had not been shampooed in a while and that might have been the reason for the odor. I would appreciate a response asap. Following is information on receipt.
Longhorn 5137 check # 38014 table 44 03/09/2019. The waitress was not to blame for any of the above.

LongHorn Steakhouse rude and aggressive bartender

I actually enjoy this restaurant and is my first option to choose in most places … Except this time, I have never been treat so rude by a bartender or server till this particular occasion.
Went to International Drive location (Orlando FL) day before and we had a great time, decide to try another one next day, LongHorn 5347 located at 8150 W. Irlo Bronson Memorial Hwy, Kissimmee, FL 32747.04/01/2019 check #43508. I would never go back again and ill make sure no one get treat like this ever again, now I understand why the bar was empty and people asking to move to a table so no one has to deal with Jordan R horrible attitude, none attended and to busy talking to other servers about last night great time and the plans for tonight as soon everyone is gone.. She literally toes the menus at us, water took 20 minutes to arrive, no eye contact, more like order taker than a polity educated server, every time my friend ask for recommendation she reply "honestly I don't like this or that"
the steaks we ask to recommend she said were not good either … So she obviously cost revenue and sales, I wonder how many more people didn't order more because of her,. She was more busy counting tips on the bar counter. drinks were never refills, we eat an appetizers, paid and went to Bahama Breese for main Corse because we still hungry.
Jordan really need customer service training all over again and food handler training again since she keep touching her nose and hair before making drinks.
hope some one can fix this with your staff soon.

LongHorn Steakhouse service and food

I am a regular customer I come there at least once a week on an average. my family and I went to St Petersburg store5576 2400 Tyrone blvd 3/23/19 at 7 or so PM. ordered drinks. drinks came and were very watery so told waitress and she said I can exchange them but they will come back to same. not a good answer. they were watermelon margaritas. then ordered food. food came and ordered steak and shrimp. shrimp was very hard and chewy like overcooked. steak was very tough could not eat the second meal was Napa chicken. the chicken was very thin and dry. tough. the sweat potato was hard inside. the third meal was also Napa chicken and about the same . the four meal was pretty good. all in all was not a good longhorn night. first the waitress said that the drinks would come back the same so we complained and a male waiter came by to complete are stay he also changed are drinks. better but still not ok. we ordered and got food we complained like I said in my complaint. he really did his best to make it right but just could not be done. I am not putting the blame on the waiter but on longhorn all together. I should have asked for a refund but we just paid and left un happy. no manager ever came out

LongHorn Steakhouse rude and terrible dismissive service

I have sent two emails to longhorn corporate office with no response. First email on Feb 22nd and 2nd email on Feb 28th. I had planned a birthday dinner for my daughter at Longhorn Steakhouse located on 95th Street in Oak lawn, IL with my family. My daughter, mother and I walked into the restaurant at 4:47pm. I was promptly greeted by a gentleman named Todd who asked me how many people were in my party, to which I replied seven. He asked if we wanted to sit towards the back of the restaurant and to which I stated was fine and then he asked us to follow him to the table. I informed him that the rest of my party was en route and that I would prefer to wait until everyone arrives to be seated. Todd then stated that was not a problem and to let him know when the rest of my party arrives so that he could seat us. We sat down in the waiting area for approximately three minutes before deciding that we would like to be seated and to place an order for appetizers and beverages order while waiting for the rest of our party.

As we approached the desk, a young man by the name of Nick appeared and asked how he could help. I simply greeted him and told him we were a party of seven and wanted to sit down so that we could start ordering our appetizers and drinks before the rest of our party arrived. He replied in a disagreeable manner that I couldn't be seated because my entire party was not present. I informed him that no one, including Todd whom I had spoken with minutes before had mentioned that to me. He repeated himself again in a very condescending tone. I refused to be spoken to in that disrespectful and unprovoked manner, so I asked to speak to his manager. Nick's response was "okay, I will do that" in an extremely hostile manner. As he started to walk away, he flung a piece of paper that he was holding towards me which actually fell to the floor. I continued to remain calm and polite despite Nick's appalling behavior.

I could hear Nick speaking with his manager and explaining his version of the story. The manager then came over and it was Todd. I was unaware that Todd was the manager. I explained to Todd that Nick was extremely rude when I asked to be seated. Todd then changed his entire demeanor and not once even acknowledged my concerns, let alone addressed the young man's unprofessional behavior. Todd then proceeded to tell me that it is Longhorn's policy not to seat guests in advance if it is a party greater than four and the entire party is not present. I explained to Todd that he had never referenced this policy when I initially arrived at the restaurant and requested a table. In fact, he was ready to have me promptly seated until I told him that I would prefer to wait for the remaining members of my party. Todd's response to me was that he never told me that and my daughter and mother whom were present reminded Todd that he had never stated this policy.

During our conversation, a waitress walked by and nicely stated to Todd "I'll seat them. I can take them, " to which he turned to her and sternly replied "no!" Todd proceeded to tell me that they had guests come in requesting large seatings only to have two or three people sit for half an hour or more without placing an order. I again explained to Todd that he never initially mentioned this policy beginning and that, we simply wanted to be seated so that we could begin ordering appetizers and not take up space in an relatively empty restaurant.

During the six minutes of this exchange, my remainder of my party arrived. I asked Todd for his manager's name to which he replied that his manager was on vacation all week. I told him that I still wanted the information along with the name of the unpleasant young man. I also informed him that I would never dine in that establishment again. My entire party was disappointed and not to mention this displeasing occurrence put a damper on what should have been a nice family celebration for my daughter's birthday.

Todd walked away and returned with his direct report's information and left. Not once did he ever apologize, offer us a different option, or seemed concerned in trying to remedy the situation. He walked over by the bar and essentially ignored us to chat with the bartenders. I would have been understanding had he explained this policy upfront when I first walked in and spoke with him. I could also understand if the restaurant was packed, was busy which it was not. This incident occurred on February 20th, a Wednesday evening at 5pm where there were about 6 tables of customers.
I am extremely disappointed that a manager would treat a potential patron in such a dismissive manner -never offering an apology, an acknowledgment of the lack of communication of the company policy, or a solution to the situation. The extreme level of disrespect that I received from both Nick and then Todd while I continued to be calm, reasonable and professional is unacceptable. This is the worst dining experience that I have ever had to deal with during what should have been a very happy occasion. As someone who is part of the service industry, it is unimaginable to me that this is the standard set by The Longhorn corporation.

LongHorn Steakhouse waiter would not take 3.00 lunch coupon

on Feb 28th I went with 3 guests to Longhorn Steakhouse on US 19, Palm Harbor Fl. We ordered Lunch Combos. I gave the waiter a male with beard 1 3.00 off Lunch entrees. He said they would not accept coupons against lunch combos. I said I have always used them. He said they were going to change things and maybe down the road they would accept them. I said don't worry about it. 3 out of 4 guests received the wrong soup. We told him and he exchanged them. My bill was $37.98 and we left a $10.00 tip. A manager came over but I was too embarrassed to tell her about the coupon. My coupon code was LH127. Its only 3.00 but its the principle of it. What do you think. I never have problems at Red LObster or Outback.

On yesh the coupon did expire on February 24th. But other times they let it slide and adjusted the bill. Why are they not this time? That was their excuse for not accepting the coupon.

LongHorn Steakhouse refund not received after being promised by manager

I dined at a longhorn steakhouse in cold spring ky on 1/30/19.
My service was terrible; very slow and incorrect meal delivered to table. No refills on drinks when asked, no sour cream when asked, etc...
Then I placed a to-go order and waited 35 additional minutes; asking our waitress twice about the delay
I was told they were "short in the kitchen", one of the cooks was in a mva.
As I continued to wait, the waitress stated that she spoke with the manager and she was going to take care of the bill.
Since this time, I have called twice, once speaking directly with the manager who stated yes she remembered and it should come off my cc bill. It has not. Second time I called, the person stated she would have the mgr call me back. No call back.
I want the credit to my account, and I will never dine there again.

LongHorn Steakhouse coupons

I bought $250.00 worth of Gift cards (for Christmas Gifts) and received $10.00 in coupons for each of the Gifts Cards bought.

First I was told you can't use them before January 3, 2019 ok fine.
I was told then that I could use them all at one time, that there wasn't a limit to using them.

Then when I tried, I was given a hard time and shown the fine print. I was getting conflicting answers has to how to use them by the staff, I and my wife use to eat lunch there daily.

I thought one more try. I took my brother and his wife, my wife and myself out to celebrate his birthday. (This was above the $250.00 I spent on gift cards.)

I gave them my coupons and they said I had to buy 2 dinners and not together.

Well I was buying 4 dinners...

I got rather upset, as I have been told so many different stories. The manager came over and was arguing with me about it, (some birthday outing) totally embarrassing.)

Food wise great, service wise a big minus. Very disappointing for such a Restaurant.

LongHorn Steakhouse carry out order

Hello,
My name is Alisa McCann and submitting a complaint because I ordered a carryout order on 2/17/2019 at Longhorn in Lexington, Kentucky in which I paid $83.24. When I got home, all the toppings for the baked potato I ordered was there. However, the baked potato was missing. Also, the broccoli I ordered for the Salmon dinner was missing. I was very disappointed and couldn't enjoy my meal especially after paying $83.24. I called the restaurant when I realized the baked potato was missing and they are going to send me a coupon. But I didn't know the broccoli was missing until after I called. I understand that mistakes can happen but this is unacceptable. Not pleased at all!

LongHorn Steakhouse wait time, and customer service and returning the correct change.

02/14/2019 I called my order in at 2:30 pm to pick up at 5 pm CST
The Lady that took my order was very polite and courteous, but the redhead behind the counter was rude, I arrived early 4:15 because in the past my order has been sitting on the counter for 10 to fifteen minutes before I arrived. I let the cashier know I had ordered on the phone and my name, so after sitting there until 4:45 I asked again if my order was ready at this time the Mgr came out and told another guest who was there when I arrived that she apologize for his wait, His food had been sitting there for 45 minutes and was cold so she comp him his food which I thought was the right thing to do. so again I asked about my food and was told it was being prepared The redhead rolled her eyes at me and said something under her breath Good for her I didn't hear what she said but a customer who was sitting near her said I guess you heard her and smiled, at this time I'm really pissed off for lack of a better word, I continued to wait at 5:43 I received my food check it and found it to be cold too but rather than make a scene I asked for an Mgr card which I did receive and here we are now. Then when I paid she didn't give me all my change back only.82 cents but it's my money. Speak to the Redhead, one day she will meet the right customer who will counteract with something she's not ready for. That whole situation could have gone so Left by the way they had to refund a customer who was there waiting since 5 and her order was coming out with mine.

LongHorn Steakhouse paying with longhorn gift card

Issue happened last night 02/09/19.
We have dinner at this longhorn almost every weekend. Last night after dinner we gave the waitress a $50 gift card towards our bill, that my daughter gave us for Christmas, after several minutes the waitress comes back to our table and says this gift card was used an hour ago and it was a $100 gift card. I told her the gift card I gave you was for $50 not $100. She then went and got the manager, name Eric. Eric came over to our table and said the gift card was used an hour ago at the next table to us for $100. Again we told him our gift card was only for $50. The manager also said that this $100 gift card wasn't bought at this restaurant. I had the receipt from the gift card which was bought at this restaurant before Christmas. The gift receipt showed the card was still active and the amount was $50. This went on and on for at least 30 minutes, embarrassing us and making us feel like thieves in which many of the patrons were looking at us. Last night it was my husband, grandson and myself that went out for dinner. We had the receipt and the sleeve that the gift card came in. I gave the waitress the $50 gift card, what she did with it or where it went after she took it from our table is beyond me, but very very embarrassing. To say that the gift card I gave her was used an hour ago for $100, was diffently someone's else is card, no ours, the big question is where did ours go? So then after all the discussion and embarrassment the manager used the receipt that we had for $50 gift card credit towards the bill. Wouldn't a waitress that used a gift card a customer gave her to use the total amount of $100 an hour earlier that had no balance after processing it just throw it away? How did it get involved with my bill an hour later. This total experience was embarrassing to me, my husband and my grandson. Like I said at the beginning of this complaint, we are regulars at this restaurant almost every weekend and last night your staff made us feel like we were thieves. The manager at the end then kept saying it must be a computer clitch? We also if needed have a photo of our gift card receipt.

LongHorn Steakhouse management

This location has issues they need to address. Tonight was our second try eating here. Didn't think it could be worse but they were. We have eaten at many long horns in other states and they were great. Tonight my food came out 10 minutes before my husbands. Mine was cold. When husbands came out the steak was cooked wrong and lobster came five minutes later. The manager did not care and had an attitude. The waitress was very good and tried her best. Emily was a terrific waitress

This place needs a real manager. Her excuse was that the cook was new. Same excuse 3 months ago. Sorry we gave it a second chance. Was the last chance.

LongHorn Steakhouse manager

My husband and I ate lunch not long after opening. It took 20 minutes for our order to be placed because our waitress was in the phone by the bathrooms. There were 5 tables full around us, 3 were complaining that they had been waiting 15+ minutes for their checks. Finally our waitress apologized stating that she was a bartender and didn't know what she was doing. After we ate some of our Stone cold food we talked to the manager and he said he would send a 50$ card by email.. Of course never got it.. As he was writing our info down on his pad we noticed there were about 6 more names on it for complaints.. The couple behind us also complained and he took their info... All in short the manager is a liar and does not care about getting customers back.

LongHorn Steakhouse poor service and management

To Whom It May Concern:

I visited Longhorn in Hinesville, GA on Jan. 28, 2019 and was very displease with the food and the service. My party of 4 arrived at 7:15 PM and didn't receive our food until 8:47 pm. Before the food arrived I asked to speak to the Manager on duty. I was told her name was Julia- ( name was given by the waitress - Nina) the manager came to the table - with a very bad attitude. She never apologized for the wait and the time it was taking for the food to come out. I explained that 2 tables that was seated after my party had received their food before my party. Once again on apology she stated that they might have ordered something that didn't require as much time. Nevertheless... Julia ( the manager ) was very nonchalant -she gave the impression - almost leave if you don't want to wait. Once the food arrived it was cold. I asked for her to return to the table... it took Julia another 10 min. to return... at that point she said she would recook the children meals which consist of Chicken Tenders... she never asked to recook or replace to adult meals. The waitress was fine( Nina) I witness Julia apologizing to another table across from where we were sitting but she never express any apologized or discounts for our inconvenience. I am very disappointed in the actions of your management (Julia) and I am putting it in writing because that position customer is key. My receipt information is as follows : Table 23 - LongHorn - 5564 1/28/19 Transaction # [protected] - My total bill was $47.44 I am requesting a full refund for my service and troubles. LongHorn Steakhouse longhorn steakhouse sugarland texas

On 1/26/2019 my family and I went to celebrate my fiancé's birthday. While my fiancé is holding our child who is under 1 the bartender goes up to my fiancé and without permission tries to grab the child from his arms. Politely I asked her not to because of germs. So she rolls her eyes and goes behind the bar and talks about me to another customer. I was so bothered that she was that offended by the incident that I moved to the hostess stand. I called the manager and he did not understand how I felt about the situation and said "well she has kids so she's being personable". When someone is offended the last thing they want to hear is a manager trying to shut you up instead of understanding that it's not okay for her to grab our child from my fiancé arms. LongHorn Steakhouse too much seasoning and salt used to cook the steak

I always ask for light seasoning and no salt please. The waiter/waitress always writes it down but it is seldom honored. I find it necessary to ask for a couple of paper napkins then I proceed to wipe down my steak top, bottom and sides. I love the flavor but can not tolerate salt. All I am asking is for the cook to read what the wait person wrote down and honor the request, that simple.
