Long John Silver's service complaint

On February 27, 2019, at 8:17 p.m. I placed an order at the drive-thru. I was told to drive up to the window. There was a mini-van in front of me, also waiting. After 12 minutes with no movement, I decided to leave. However, at that point another car pulled up behind me. Since the drive-thru is only one lane, I was effectively boxed in. After waiting another 8 minutes, the mini-van received their food and left. I pulled up to the window but was ignored. Not once did anyone acknowledge me, apologize for the wait, or even take my money! After 3 more minutes of being ignored, I drove off -- still hungry, disappointed, and angry.

It is impossible for me to understand this restaurant's lack of customer service! How do they expect to remain in business? This was my first time stopping at this location, and I can guarantee I will never go there again!

Long John Silver's disabled veteran/tax, exempt coupon

I went to Long john Silver store number 31180 at 11:48 AM and placed a to-go order. I presented a $2off coupon for any platter and my valid tax exempt. After I paid and sat down waiting for my order, I noticed on my receipt I did not get the $2 off. When I asked the manager informed me that I could not get both the coupon and the tax exempt. I informed him under Oklahoma Law I most get the tax exempt. I said because I am a disabled veteran if I use my tax exempt, I can never use a coupon here? He stated I could not get both and walked away.
Additionally, the store was out of ice. The floors were very slippery. I did not get any cocktail sauce and had to wait 10 minutes for the thick-cut fish to cook. (The fish was good.)

I have explained this to people over and over. You absolutely CAN use a tax exempt and a coupon/discount. Because the tax exempt is not a discount. They just dont seem to understand that part. No matter how big the letters are when things like this would go out in emails to restaurants... it doesnt seem to register to them that .. not paying taxes .. exempt from tax lol
( and thank you for those who served Our Country!) isnt considered a discount or coupon. Because the meal price was not reduced. ~ banging my head on wall

Long John Silver's Bad customer service/messed up order

My husband and I went to this LJS tonight and while putting in our order at the drive through my husband said he wanted 6 shrimp and 3 pieces of fish and hushpuppies, the lady at the drive through had a attitude from the begining and in a nasty way told us the number of hushpuppies we could get. When we got to the window she said our total was 7.28 and my husband stated that there is no way that you could get 3 pieces of fish the shrimp and 2 hushpuppies for that price, when we got our food it was of course all in one box there was only one piece of fish the shrimp was fine but i am not sure if i will back to this LJS again with her attitude she did not ask if we wanted any condiments and to me she should not even be working the drive-thru. I have always had good experiences with LJS but this was absolutely horrific the person that weighted on us her name was Wilhelmina she is definately not customer service worthy. The date of the incident is 03/09/2019 and the time was 6:51:01PM i would appreciate either a gift card or a full refund of my 7.28 and i would like her to have training in customer service. I do appreciate your time and look forward to hearing from you.

I just got home from going through the drive thru at long john silvers on Crawfordsville toad Indianapolis Indiana. I ordered the baked cod meal with 2 sides and 2 Hush puppies. When I opened my food box at home I did not have baked fish rather your traditional fish and o did not receive a revolt. I have now tried to get someone e to sneer the restaurant phone 3 times and no response. We can only eat baked or grilled. I repeated my order twice and was charged for the baked meal. What can you do to help me get a refund?

Long John Silver's Service complaint

I'm Shelly Burnett ([protected]@gmail.com Pulled into drive throu approximately 9:30 pm Sunday March 3rd after sitting at speaker for nearly fifteen minutes waiting for a response I pulled to window it took me another 5 minutes to get someones attention I was told I couldn't order any food because they were closing in 10 minutes after waiting for 20 minutes

Long John Silver's I got chicken coleslaw that your employees

There was one car ahead of me it took 20 minutes for them to take my order, I could hear through the speaker them cussing and talking about customer's. And when I finally got my food they forgot my coleslaw, and my crumbs, the chicken planks was full of fat. I used to love your food but been very disappointed lately. I couldn't eat it this time cuz it had some weird chemical taste.

Long John Silver's alonzo who worked the drive thru at this location 2/22/19

I was in line and waited over 10 min and only 1 person was in line in front of me. They were not busy at all. When I said I had been waiting a long time he said it was 10 min 12 sec to be exact get it right and that is not long. I asked for the CS phone number he said google it he did not have time to help me with that and he was very rude. I don't know if his name was Alonzo because that did not look like what was on his name tag. My receipt has store # 31592 Ticket 2770 2.22.19 2:43 pm # [protected]. I will never go back to this Long Johns Silvers after how I was treated. I was shocked they were allowed to treat customers this way.

Long John Silver's nasty stuff found in crunchies of a piece of fish side

Nasty orange substance soft to touch. Almost jiggly. The other tiny piece looks like a deep fried booger... I have kept this. I have also put it on my face book profile. T says I need to put so many words to this, but the more I think about it and write about it the sicker I get.
The last time I ate there, I think it was deep fried plastic I found in the crunchies. I had forgotten about it until I found this unidentifiable substance in it today. Please if you need this it is in my fridge and I'll be glad to share it with you. Just let me know.

Long John Silver's carry out dinner

To Whom This Concerns:
I wish I did not have to write this letter. My husband and I frequently eat at Long John Silver's, usually every other week. We go the restaurant in Cheviot, Ohio on Harrison Avenue, 45211. We really do enjoy the food. We generally order variety platters. My husband comes into the restaurant to order and does not use the drive thru. Not on one, but on numerous occasions our order has been incorrect. He usually does not look to see if it's correct. He shouldn't have to. Once in awhile we could see an order not being exactly what was ordered, but every time? The last three times we have ordered it has been wrong! And that doesn't count all the other times we are missing part of our order. Once it was the cole slaw, the next time it was the chicken and this time it was the shrimp. This last time the restaurant wasn't even crowded and the order was repeated. Two people even were at the register listening (or supposedly) while my husband gave his order. We are tired of paying for a meal we don't receive. Very disappointed in the quality of service from this establishment. This is not acceptable. Long John Silver's the facility and employees

I went to the LJS in Lawton Oklahoma today. The roof was leaking from rain. The inside of the restaurant needs to be updated really bad, i.e. new paint, new floors, new counter, new parking lot, new cash register, new credit card machine, and a good cleaning.

While the food was good, there were only 2 employees there, one cooking and one taking orders and cleaning up. The drive thru was closed since there was no employee to operate it. There should be 4 employees to run this place. Customers were not happy having to wait a while to place their order and then having to wait 20 for food orders. Two cash registers and two employees to take orders would help. I don't know who the franchisee is but they are losing money fast and giving LJS a bad name because of the sorry shape this place is in. It's been in Lawton for years and I hope you get it fixed up ASAP.

Long John Silver's management/customer service

This accrued at my local family Long John Silvers location I have enjoyed for many years (meaning growing up as a child and currently bringing my kids now one currently 18yrs old). On January 5, 2019 it was around 2pm meaning it's still happy hr time and I usually get a good size order for leftovers. My cashier was Alisha and she was calling out how many shrimp pieces in the order as I go and a lady walks up and very rude looks at me and says do you know the number of shrimp pieces your ordering and I had to figure it out while she stood looking at me. All together it was 23 shrimp pieces in my order. It wasn't busy at all inside and drive thru had a car but it still took over 1/2 hr for my to go order. I have been shorted many times from this location in the past so before I walk out the doors I check everything over and this order I was shorted a piece of fish $1.50 so like normal I just let my cashier know and show her my order spread out and opened on the table. She apologised and said she would be right back with it. 5 min later my cashier walked up with 2 other ladies and the same lady who was rude about the shrimp pieces grabbed my receipt out of my hand and said let me see. At first I was very upset with this lady and she turned to the other lady and spoke in a different language waving the recipe in her hand. She didn't say anything too me and slammed my receipt on the table next to my food and stormed away. I didn't want to cause a scene so I asked Alisha to get her name for me and Alisha didn't give it to me when she handed me the missing piece of fish. I walked up to the counter and asked for the manager and it was the same lady who was rude this whole visit named Ambreen. This all made my family's food cold by the time everything was over. I don't think guest should have to go thru this experience and I'm very disappointed with the guest service and the food because I waited so long. Usually it takes them 1 or 2 min to correct the mistake. I think it would be in the company's best interest to have Ambreen attend a guest service class on how to treat customers and staff. As you can see with my pictures I do come to this location 3 to 4 times a week at times but as of today I haven't returned.

Long John Silver's management / food

I had order the 8 piece meal with 2 sides. When nephews and myself sat down to eat inside the restaurant my nephew was getting ready to eat a hush puppy when he notice it was a hair cooked inside the hush puppy and half the hair hanging out. Then I goes to feed my other nephew a piece of chicken and when I broke it in half it was also a piece of hair in the food. I talked to one of the manager and he just apologized but by them our appetite was messed up so I throw the rest of the food away and went and ask could I get a refund and the other manager told me they couldn't if I didnt have the food. So I had to go into the trash can at yall restaurant I just gave her the bag it was in. She then walked away getting smart and saying stuff. The other manager gave me my refund but I dont appreciate having to go into the trash can and that the fact I had hairs in my food and how it was handled.

Long John Silver's cleanliness and employees

There is a few workers on first shift 1030-4 that use meth one workers name is shawna wilson she comes to work so bad... There's two guys who drink all the time alcohol in the business while on the clock.. The manager jessica she knows and allows this to go on she allows the employee smoke inside the business and also has given a few employees permission to smoke weed on the premises this is uncalled for and unacceptable behavior.. This needs taken a close look into and drug screens need to be submitted at this store.. No I am not a former employee I and family of a employee that just quit due to the drug use there...

Long John Silver's food

I got food poisoning from a restaurant in Pittsburg Ks. I have been severely ill since the night of Dec 2 to Dec 4th (so far), I am in fear of loosing my job because of being off for 2 days ill..

I left a very detailed message on the phone number [protected]..Please listen to it and someone please reach out to me before I contact the health dept to turn in this restaurant.

I want to be reimbursed for my meals, my income that I am loosing and maybe a phone call to my employer to save my job. The hotel I am currently staying at knows how seriously ill I currently am because of the food poisoning!

Long John Silver's drive thru cashier

She was quite rude on the intercom at the menu where you order in the drive thru but I tried to look past that, her voice is very raspy so I thought she might be sick. When I got to the window she took my card, not a word. I got my food and asked her if I could have tartar sauce please, she said its in the bag. When I got back to work it was not. I called and asked for her manager, she said "she busy".

She was absolutely stoned out of her head, and this isn't the first time I've had the experience. The store is awful! There are enough people needing jobs that she should not be able to continue working there.

Long John Silver's management

I was having dinner with my family at the Ljs on 51st st in Tulsa Oklahoma on Sunday 12/02/18. We encountered a form of blatant racism, and prejudice at this location. We ordered the 8.99 all you can eat there was (6) six adults. We were informed that we could not share the meals as if to say that we were buying one meal for six people. The so called manager (who incidentally was on her phone texting as we ordered) proceeded to continue to be in a prejudice mood our entire visit, even to the point of watching our vehicles leaving the parking lot, the fish was cold as were the fries and the corn, when we asked for the manager was told that the woman working was the only one available. Needless to say you have lost at least 6 customers and many more of family and friends. I didn't know LJS tolerated this kind of racism.

Long John Silver's assistant manager threatening an employee

Date of incident is November 24, 2018. I had told my General Manager that my assistant manager, Danny Overbay, at the long john silver's in Yukon, Oklahoma at address 1109 S Garth Brooks Blvd, had brought a handgun to the store. Later that evening when I came into work at 5:00 PM Central time, he started mouthing off to me, trying to pin the blame on me. He pulled me back and started being disrespectful whining about how I told on him and such. I told him there is many other things the store can do to protect us from a robbery since there was a string of them going around the area than to take matters into your own hands, more or less after showing said gun say you hope the store gets robbed so you can SHOOT SOMEONE, and such other ways being notifying local police so they can patrol the area at 15 minute intervals, hire security, that sort of stuff. He thought when I said this I was referring to the pocket knives we have for cutting open boxes and such, which wasn't the case. He chose to assume. He then finished with "You think a knife will stop a bullet? Why don't you pull out your knife and I will shoot you and we'll see if that knife stops a bullet." If Danny is reading this, I do not CARE if you meant it as a "scenario, " That is still considered a threat to many law officials and is NOT professional in the work place to say to your employees, EVER. More or less when you are a MANAGER. I hope to press criminal charges for threatening assault with a deadly weapon at the most and Termination without pay with no chance of getting rehired at the least. This is unacceptable no matter what the conditions are to say this to people who work for YOU. I am not the only one to quit this store within one week's time. Last Tuesday, another employee and another Assistant Manager, or shift leader, quit because of his arrogant behavior. No disrespect to the General Manager but the failure to realize this sooner is the real cause behind the fall of that store. This should not be overlooked. Everyone needs to know.

Long John Silver's business hours

I visited a Long Johns location located in Houston at Old Spanish Trail and I'm standing here reading the sign of the business hours which says it close at 10 and it was 9:40 and it was lock ..This will be the second time I've inquired about this when I had no choice but to go to drive and was not giving a proper explanation.. I expected to run in and out for food but wasn't able to do so ..Can someone please let the public know if operation hours have changed

Long John Silver's I am complaining about outrageous customer service.

Long John Silver's food customer service and nasty store

I ate at LJS Iin Monticello yesterday. Had to wait to order 10 minutes as there was no one taking orders. I was the only one in the store. Upon a girl coming from outside (I suppose a smoke break) she said " you been waited on". My reply NO. The fish was so over cooked it was all crust. Don't know where the fish was coleslaw sour tasting and fries Cold! Bathroom was filthy no toilet paper, nasty floor, nasty!

Long John Silver's long johns and a&w pikeville ky

Tonight I went through the drive thru and was greeted by one of the rudest people I've ever met. She rushed me while ordering and cut me off mid sentence. When I got to the window I only received half my order and had to knock on the window and ask for the other half. I also got a fish and chicken plater and only received the meat. When I asked what happened to the cole slaw, fries, and hush puppies she responded with that isn't included anymore. So I spent 28 dollars tonight to pretty much not even get full meals and a reminder to never come back.
