Long John Silver's the wait time

I placed an order at 11:50am at the Kimball Tn Long john silvers and didnt get my food until 12:10pm and the assintant manager wouldnt let me talk to the Manager I told her fine that i would put my complant in on line or call. Then she said hold on I will go get her. I told her that was okay that im going to take care of it myself... She was very rude and I take my clients or should i say i use to take my clients there 2 times a week. But after today we will be going to KFC more. And i will get on Facebook to let the world know how they are treating people.. The cashier on the other hand was very nice and polite .

Long John Silver's very nasty restroom facilities..

I eat 3 to 4 times a month at store 31776 in Toledo Ohio... I went to wash my hands after ordering my food and it was just disgusting... Smell like a dog kennel urinal broken debris everywhere paper towel rack broken off the wall incredibly nasty... I completely lost my appetite when I walked out of there for the meal I just ordered... Me and a good friend meet there it's our Rendezvous spot and I'd like to continue are routine there but if I return and the conditions are the same you've lost two good customers and probably a few more cuz I'm going to share it... I have a video of the conditions... I hope you're able to address the issue cuz we really like your food a lot thank you for your time and good luck...

Long John Silver's the entire meal on 6/13/2017

I was very upset after visiting the restaurant on 529 and Fry road around 3pm yesterday. The meal was very old and I didn't go back due do to the drive after I had gotten home. We ordered fish and shrimp that was dried up. My husband did eat some of it and got really sick. I am very disappointed. I don't eat there but he does and he stated will not be returning.

Long John Silver's customer service

On 6/2/17 I went into Store E791035 in Torrance we ordered a Reel Deal Box and a Chicken Share of popcorn chicken. The person we were with ordered before us and when his order was ready I went and waited at the counter assuming mine was coming. I was then told it would be five more mins as the fish was cooking. I waited another 10 and had seen fish come out of the fryer and at then I was told it would be another 7 mins because fish was not ready yet. I explained I had been waiting a while to which the mgr said there was nothing he could do and another co worker was telling him we had already been waiting 22 mins for our food. He didn't care what so ever, he was a hispanic man and I can't recall his name, it was a hispanic lady who was trying to explain to him how long we waited. A black young man took our order but, the receipt says Kimberly took the order. I had to argue with him to give me back a copy of the receipt after he refunded my money and he was very rude. Two diff customers came up to me telling me I was correct and they sided with me. I can't read all the numbers on the receipt but, the time was 1:51pm and ticket number was 4226. There are very few LJS left in our area and we make a purposeful drive to eat here when we want this food and I was very irritated, we had a visitor from out of town with us and it made us upset. The food is always very good at this location and this was a big disappointment.

Long John Silver's supervisor needs customer service training!

On 06/07/2017 at 1:30pm the Long John Silver's on Karl Rd and 161. I order two number 10 meals ask for 1 of those meals to have Cole slaw and the other to have French fries because you get to choose a side. Well when I pulled off I get to my job just around the corner from Long Johns (thank God it was close by) and notice one of the meals did not have fries just fish and hush puppies so get back in car and drive back to the place and at the Window the lady that gave the meal in the first place "Chasity" looks at me and I say "I did not get any fries with one meal but the other had Cole slaw." Now I have both meals still with me ready to hand to her. Her response was that "I asked for extra hush puppies" I said " No I ask for French fries" she then turns from the window rolling her eyes and went to get fries. when she returns I say "was there a problem with me asking for my order and she said "I just went to get your fries" and I said " yes but there was no Just one minute or I'm sorry or anything." she begin to rush me away and I ask for her name and she said "Chasity and its on your receipt." I pulled around and went in ask another person for the supervisor and he said "that her Chasity"..Chasity needs customer service training and needs to learn how to treat her customers. And not be so rude it was not my fault that she misunderstood me.

Long John Silver's food/drink

LoveL JS! But can't eat it alot because of health issues. So, when I give in to my cravings, it is a big deal to me! Sunday evening, Memorial Day Weekend was the day. Went to Effingham, il LJS. What a disappointment! Fries were cold.Fish was lukewarm.Sweet ice tea container was empty. The serving of coleslaw was, maybe, a small ice cream dip. That was the best thing on the plate. It was not busy when we were there, and there was at least 3 people behind the counter. Ice tea came out when we were ready to leave.My husband both agreed it SUCKED! We are in our 50's & 60's, we are not regular
complainers, but did think this was warranted. time was 6/28/17 @ 6:15pm. 188#0078 01A was on our ticket. If that helps. thanks.

Long John Silver's food and service

My family ordered a 16pc, (8 chicken, 8 fish, 3 Family fries, 1 family cole slaw) and 4 orders of clams on May 26, 2017. We had to wait for our food; which wasn't a problem. The staff provided us with two complimentary drinks for the wait. The order was brought out and handed to us. (They said it was completed)-and we drove the 15 miles back to our house with our dinner, expecting it to be correct; (especially whenever they told us they had to make our order because they didn't have the food ready, since they had been "dead".) We got home, only to discover we did not have our completed order. We were missing our 8 pieces of chicken. I called the restaurant, and spoke to the manager, Diane. I told her the situation, and she said she was waiting on the chicken to come up but a different employee handed out the rest of the order. Without checking to make sure it was complete. The employee that did bring the bag out to us the first time looked to have friends hanging out at the cash register and in the restaurant, and they were joking around; which is why I believe our order was left unchecked and why we even had the problem in the first place. Either way, It should have been double checked. I spoke to the manager, told her the situation-and I requested the entire order be remade, because we were already upset about the forgotten chicken, and we shouldn't have to eat our meal in two separate sections, or have part of it get cold while we had to drive the 30mile round trip to get the order back home again. My mom took the receipt back to the restaurant; along with the entire order of food, that we expected to be completely REMADE. The receipt has been signed by what I assume would be a manager and employee who remade the order. Which means they should have read the receipt that stated along with the 16pc Family meal, there were 4 orders of clams that should have been remade as well. My mom, again, drives home with the (supposed to be correct) order, expecting it to be especially right this time-only to find that now, we are missing the 4 orders of clams, and the part of the order that had came home with us the first time-HAS BEEN REFRIED, NOT REMADE. I have worked in fast food, I know what recooked food looks like. I also know it is a complete blatant violation of the health code. I called back, for a girl named Lexi who is not a manager, to inform me with a very snide attitude when I told her my order was yet again, wrong- that they didn't forget our clams; we forgot them there so they threw them away. I am beyond frustrated with this restaurant right now. My father spent $40 on what was supposed to be a nice family night dinner, and all we got was a fiasco, unnecessary attitude from an employee, wasted gas, time, and re-fried food. They have given us 3 $5 vouchers, but my father and I are so upset with the quality of food and service we are appalled. My aunt and mother both used to work at the very same restaurant; and I am extremely disappointed in the decline the restaurant has taken. I would most definitely like someone to be in contact with me very soon about this. There is absolutely no reason why this should have been allowed.

Long John Silver's fish and fries.

For years, My husband and I had been Long John Silver's fans! Because of dietary changes, we had been avoiding fried foods. We hadn't tried fish in a long time. We got hungrey for Long John Silver's fish. My husband and I decided to try the 2 piece fish dinner. To our dismay, it was terrible. Fish and fries were exstremely salted. I removed the batter from my fish and the fish was extra salted like, it had been soaked in salt water. What happened to the old Long John's fish, that was delicious and not salty? You could actually add hot sauce ( which is actually salted it self and not have too salty fish). We used to eat there about 5 or 6 times a month. I used to go pick up orders for all The girls in the office, where I worked. Remember, if peopke want more salt, they can always add salt. You used to have the best fish in town, but not any more. It was so salty, we could not eat it?

Long John Silver's not receiving a receipt

The workers inside the sw 29th st okc, oklahoma location refused to give me my receipt because, " their systems were down". The employees there treated me like this as an act of discrimination since they live in our neighborhood and they do not like me our my family. I expect this to be taken care of before I take this story to the news channel so that everyone can see how long john silvers treats its customers.

Long John Silver's horrible customer service!

I absolutely love Long John Silvers! I wish there was another location close to me. But unfortunately the only one is the following:

My husband and I frequently went to this store in the past, at least once a week, sometimes more. I will not ever go back.

We went there today around 6:45 pm. The store was not overly busy. I went in and walked to the counter where the employee "Alexus" was standing behind the register. No greeting, no nothing but a glare from her. I waked up and stated that I had 2 orders. She said, "what DO YOU WANT".
I began to give her my order when she stopped me and told me I have to speak louder she can't hear me. So I spoke loudly and ordered the 8 piece family meal and specified that I wanted the Long John Silvers with all fish and macaroni and cheese and French fries as the sides. I also ordered the 2 pc chicken plank meal, in not sure of the number it was on the menu. She told me the total of $28.23. I gave her 2 twenty dollar bills. She became upset when she had to give me change back because there were no $1 bills in the drawer, nor were there enough quarters. She began cursing under her breath but managed to come up with enough change.

Then she started to walk away and I said "excuse me, I have 2 orders ". She turned around and said "that was 2 orders, you ordered the 8 piece fill up and the L5"

I then said that I did not order the KFC fill up, I ordered the 8 piece long John silvers family meal. She then told me that I did not order that. Then she left to go get the manager.
When the manager came up, she asked what the problem was. I then told her that I ordered the ljs meal not the kfc meal that was rang up. She attempted to correct the order in the register and then said "nevermind ill just give you what you ordered and not change the price".

Alexus came back to the counter and with an extremely nasty attitude said, "you got what you wanted you can move over and wait for it now".

I was kind of stunned with her and her attitude. I then said that I still had a second order. She rolled her eyes and once again said"you got what you wanted, the manager is giving you what you wanted ". This girl was so nasty to me that I then told her nevermind the order, cancel it and just give my money back. After being treated that way there was no way I was going to stick around.

Alexus then walked away and went to the other side of where they were preparing the food and said " now she wants her money back". I heard her tell another employee "I had enough of her attitude and I'm not going to wait on that ###".
The store manager didn't even come back up, this time the assistant manager came up and did not say a word, just picked up my receipt from the counter and the change I was given and voided the sale and gave my original $40 back.
No more words were exchanged.

This was unacceptable. I have worked as a District Manager for 17 years and never have I received such horrible customer service.
What upsets me is as I stated at the beginning, I love Long John Silvers and this is the only one near where I live.

I will not ever go back there. I do not deserve to be treated that way. I only went there to get take out dinner for my family. She kept stressing that I got what I wanted...isn't that the whole point of ordering your food and paying for it? It should not be considered a privilege to get what you order!

I just wanted to tell her that if you hate your job so bad, you should find another one and not take it out on your customer. Your customers are the only reason you have a job here in the first place.

I apologize for the lengthy complaint. I just wanted to paint the picture for you of what I went through and how terribly I was treated by your employee in your restaurant.

I wish I would have thought to ask for the district manager's phone number before I left. I was just so upset I wanted to get out of there.

Long John Silver's allowing kids to stand on counter

I was in New Castle, IN when a customer that seemed to be a relative of an employee came in with a small child that was allowed to walk on the counter and stand there for several minutes while the employee played with the child. I got up and threw my food away and walked out. This was more than I could take and I wondered how clean my food could be.

Long John Silver's their overall customer service, especially with coupons

Store #2220 in Lakewood Colorado has the WORST customer service I have ever seen, and this has been going on for several months. We have gone there to use coupons (both digital and printed) many times over the last several months, and the store always has an excuse as to why they cannot honor the coupon. When we have a digital coupon, they say the coupon must be printed. If we have a printed coupon, they say their manager doesn't take coupons, or that because their store is also a Taco Bell that they do not have what the coupon states, and they won't substitute anything. Also, the LJS website says they have a store in Denver at 38th and Wadsworth Blvd., but we drove all the way there and there is no store. Between that and not being served at the Lakewood store, we wasted an hour of our time. Their manager should be fired or the franchise closed, they are a waste of time.

Long John Silver's chicken meals. l9

I ordered 2 chicken meals. L9. Along with 2 other things. My order came to 20.61. I was so excited because I don't have a Long John Silver's near my house. I had to take my mom to the hospital that day so I figured I would stop. The order came like complete crap. I couldn't eat the chicken. It was all Gummy and crispy, no meat! Not like I remember it at all! I was deeply disappointed. I also didn't get fries with any of my orders. When I asked the lady she said it was the way I ordered. That's not the way I remember it. I just remember your chicken being a lot better and a lot bigger.

Long John Silver's very unhappy with food on may 7, 2017

I ordered two 2-piece chicken/ 2 boxes of crumbs + 2 extra chicken. This always comes with fries and a hush puppy. My order consisted of one box with 6 pieces of chicken that was soggy and not at all like long john silvers chicken always has been. There were no fries or anything else. Just chicken and crumbs.

Long John Silver's over cook food

I ordered a simple L4 fish and more meal. I asked the cashier to have it cooked fresh. She then stated it would take appropriately 3 minutes so I agreed and waited. She then asked me what two sides did I want? I replied Cole slaw and potatoes. I was under the impression that if I order from the long john silver menu I would receive long john silver food. I was given KFC Cole slaw and potatoes. My food eventually came back overcooked and looked nothing like what I've ever ordered from long john silver.

Long John Silver's no natural cut fries

Everett, Washington, this location has "gotten rid of" the natural cut fries advertised on the LJS coupon ads, and on the menu at the location. Since this is also a KFC restaurant, they have stated this as the reason for giving out Jo Jo potatoes instead of the NC fries. This should be corrected, they should have both. This is very disappointing!

Long John Silver's beer battered cod

Fish was dark brown "overcooked at too high a temperature, I took one bite and could not eat any more, I tried calling store#32101 @ 8:03 pm and tried again @ 8:07pm and again @ 8:11 pm and every time I tried to call the phone went to a busy signal after 3 minutes @4 seconds and then I tried to go to long john silvers web site to make a formal complaint and two different times it said they could not complete the complaint and claimed both times to have had an error .I am very unhappy with the beer battered cod in particular, I took one bite as I previously stated, This was store # 32101 the ticket number from my Mothers purchase is #3205, I can and will bring the portion with one bite taken from it, and the other overcooked portion of beer battered cod that I could not eat and return it to the store in person in the morning so they can not refuse to answer the phone and not take responsibility for improperly cooked food, and then to further the insult by not answering the phone, it's not acceptable for even fast food, Long John Silvers trys to claim they have a higher standard than other fast food Establishments

Long John Silver's customer service

Went to our local ljs and the customer service first off was very rude and unprofessional. The so called manager didn't have her badge on and was talking on her cell phone when we came up to the counter. And rudely looked at us as if we was bothering her, rolled her eyes and was going to ask what we wanted while still on her cell phone (personal call because she referred to the person in the other end as babe). Another associate decided to take our order. We sat down and 30 minutes later still did not have our food. It was not busy by any means in the store however cars in the drive thru that pulled up even 15 minutes after us was getting their orders. Finally went up to the counter and again was looked at if I was a bother. Informed them that it was ridiculous that we have been waiting 30 minutes and still haven't received our food. The lady just said well would you like a refund. No apologies were given for our wait time or how incredibly rude they were being. I am extremely disappointed in this establishment and encounter we had today. Will never eat here again!

Long John Silver's quality and service

Today way 1PM I went to the drive thru window at LJS in Fort Smith Arkansas. when I placed my order the employee responded "wait wait wait let me catch up with you" he repeated my order incorrectly and said what drink, I attempted to correct him and he cut me off and said "what drink" rather aggressively. This is the 4th bad experience that I have had at this location. I am very disappointed with the lack of customer service and lack of food quality at this location. I have been a loyal customer of LJS for 30 years and go out of my way to get to the restaurant which is 10 miles from my work. But I think this is my last visit. my husband and I have repeatedly received poor quality food and deplorable customer service. I suppose this location is a franchise they do not in anyway meet my expectations for a Long John Silvers. if this is the acceptable product and service for the company then you as a company no longer deserve my business

Long John Silver's employees & service

I have been at this location 5 times and each time have had issues. Food wrong, food over cooked, employees not caring and this time it toon an hour ro get my food while waiting in the drive thru. I got out of the car after 15 mins and they told me they "gave my order away" ok thats fine. I understand mistakes happen. BUT they never came to tell me OR started recooking my order till I went inside. So it took me an hour to get my food. Again, I understand mistakes but I do not understand unconcerned employees. There were 4 employees I saw and not one showed they cared. When I went in one of the many times to check my order all the employees were gone. Its during lunch rush (not that there were a lot of customers) but no emoyees in back cooking, putting together food, or even helping anyone up front that was standing there. They were all gone. After about 5 minutes they all came walking around the corner. Its a shame. Lindale, Tx is a very small town and y husband and I like to get Longjohns and KFC. But you lost our business. Thats for sure. Until you hire employees that care this location will soon be shut down due to lack of business and thats a shame.
