London School Of Business & Finance [LSBF] - Study materials

I recommend all ACCA students find some other university which will take them more seriously as the London School of Business and Finance is just about lying and deceiving students with their money. I paid for my tuition and hard-copy materials on 18th July 2023 and was told that I would receive them shortly. It has been TWO MONTHS! still, no books. I have...

London School Of Business & Finance [LSBF] Global MBA - International Business

I have been attending the class since Oct 2021, with Student ID I1070295

But when i just undergoing my 3rd class - Strategic Management and Leadership, suddenly i got kicked out of the class, they renew the student login system and i cant reached the student support.

I have been sending all of them including :

1)Student Support on Student platform and send them emails to 3 people.

2)[protected]@lsbf

3) All the admission team

Suddenly when i send email to your team with all @lsbf.org.uk workers, i got blocked from the email.

So im not sure what is happening in here, since i already paid you almost full for the whole 2 years course, and suddenly got kicked out like this without reasons or notification from the student support or any chat.

I saw your system getting renewed, and im not sure why i cant accessed my class this semester, and i cant even contact the student support and the blue button chat. All my conversation with student support are all missing, unable to refresh. I send emails to all the student support team, but none even reply to my messages.

AND ALSO WHY I GOT BLOCKED FOR FOLLOWING UP WITH MY QUERIES BY YOUR TEAMS (attached below the receipt for this)

Hope to hear more from your side, since im looking to continue my study but if this goes on, im gonna take further action to complaint with the related authority.

Please reply to this message asap, i just want to continue my study or get my money refunded for the remaining classes unable to attend. Thanks

Desired outcome: Enter my classes again while got some additional 3 months to 3 yrs school timeline, since i got deleted from the class unknowingly without any notice or info

London School Of Business & Finance [LSBF] Refund of fees lsbf

My name is Laura Buschbacher, and I have enrolled in ACCA (13 papers) + MA in Finance and investment with LSBF in September 2020, student ID with LSBF is I1067722. I have considered it long before taking the decision to do this course as I already had a bookkeeper qualification from AAT! I was rushed to make the decision to enroll and to pay the deposit for the course by their sales agent Tanzim Chowdhury.

A bit of background, when I enrolled I was not aware of how the COVID 19 pandemic is going to affect me personally. I was very wrong to think that I was able to cope considering that I was already suffering with depression at the time of enrolment. I found the course hard to follow and manage. I fell sick severely a few times and have informed lsbf of the same. At the time they agreed to keep my course on hold until I can get back to normal and be able to study again! However by this time a few members of my family and family friends have already passed away with Covid and I was getting more and more mentally sick. I have reached out several times but there was no support from LSBF!

I decided late last year that as they are not willing to refund me the money paid for the ACCA course I had no choice but to try and find a different course to try and take! I have had an anthropology degree from my college years, that is when I was 18-19 years old so I researched and enrolled in Masters of Public Health after moving my credits from ACCA towards this degree. Ithe course was meant to start on 23rd of January 2023, I paid the deposit of £500 and waited for the course to start. Unbeknown to me that unfortunately life had a different purpose for me, my elderly mother who lives with me has COPD and she has been getting worse this I had to become her caregiver. Between my work, family and my mother’s incurable illness I do not have the time to sit and study! I immediately informed the customer service agent that helped me enroll, Ahmed Al-Refae has also contacted their refunds team and asked me to submit a refund request through the refund portal @https://refunds.lsbf.org.uk/ which I did on the 24th January 2023 meaning the masters course started only by 1 day however until now I have still not received any response from the refunds team! I was told I will get an email with my refund confirmation reference number within 24 hours which I have not received yet. My main concern is that I am now more than £6000 out of pocket and nobody is answering my emails and calls.

I need an answer as soon as possible as it’s getting worse and my anxiety is getting worse and my mental health has become so bad that it’s unbearable and I’m in no way able to care for my sick mother in the state that I am. Please if at all possible can someone help me with this issue as I can’t phantom that much money amounting to nothing! Can someone advise me if it’s worth making a letter before claim and going to the court or maybe contacting Ombudsman for a legal action against LSBF?

Hope I get a response soon.
Kind Regards
Laura

Desired outcome: Refund of my Fees

London School Of Business & Finance [LSBF] university

I started studying ACCA with the London School of Business and Finance. I was completely pressured into it by the sales rep and was told that if I did not pay soon then my place on the course would go and be given to someone else. Naturally I paid the fees as I was eager to progress my career. It turns out that ACCA was completely the wrong choice for me and being in industry I was much more suited to CIMA and this is what I should have been doing all along.
I enquired about switching to the CIMA course which was not a problem, however they informed me that they had still not updated their study courses to be under the new syllabus. This is utterly ridiculous as the course changed around 2 years ago and every other provider now has updated materials. I was told that they didn't know when this would be updated and that it "might" be this year. I was told that I could have a refund and 3 months on I am still waiting for the money to be returned. I have now wasted so much time with this company fighting to get money back which is rightfully mine. I will now take legal action and take it to all forms of social media. The service received from this place is a complete joke.

Hi Steph,

I am in a similar position where LSBF is not refunding the tuition fee. Can you please provide your email address for us to get in touch. I think this college needs to be taken to task as there are too many stories of this happening over and over again.

Thanks
Khalid

London School Of Business & Finance [LSBF] MSc in Finance - 14+ months waiting for my final grade!!

My name is Pedro Armenio Lopes, and I am enrolled in the Master of Science in Finance course (Student nr: I092053) at the London School of Business & Finance (LSBF). I started the course in January, 2012; I decided to take the “blended” course, where I would be able to study in London for the first semester of 2012, and continue it online, since I needed to return home so I could go back to work.

The in-campus experience was great, and I would leave nothing but very positive reviews for LSBF from the time I spent there. However, I had many problems when I decided to transfer my studies online. The problems were mostly about the time it took for me to receive my grades, in order to move on to the next subject, and also the lack of support and information from the student liaison team.

Despite the delays, I was able to submit the final dissertation paper on January 15th, 2015, and I have been expecting my grade so I can finally graduate from the course since then. It has been 1 year and 2 months already since I submitted the final paper, and so far I haven’t received my grade and I do not even have an estimate of when I should receive it.

I have been in contact with many people from LSBF on this issue. I expressed my concerns and asked an estimate on my grade to Ms. Shirin Vakhidova, Mr. Colin Sablack, and more recently to Mr. Filip Leibl, all from the student support department. I have been receiving estimates from them when I should receive the grade as far as April of last year. To make matters worse, in one of my last contacts with Mr. Leibl, he explained me that the University of Wales was “reviewing my student status” because I was taking too long to graduate. This information made me very concerned, as the delay has been coming from the school, and not from myself!

Since January 2016, Filip Leibl, my only contact at student support at the moment, completely stopped responding my messages. He does not provide me any information and does not reply anything. I have many unanswered messages in the student support page.

For this reason, I started contacting the University of Wales (UoW) directly, which is the school that accredits my course. I talked to Mr. Andrew Warner, from the University’s academic office team. He replied to me that he has been trying to get a response on my student from LSBF for more than two weeks already, without any response.

I even tried contacting Mr. Maldwyin Buckland, Director of Quality at LSBF, to no avail. I asked the school to provide me his direct contact but, of course, I received no response.

This extreme delay is harming my academic and professional life substantially. I was currently looking for career opportunities where I live (Miami, Florida), and I was having a hard time finding positions I desired, since they usually demanded a graduate degree, which I still do not have.

I would simply like to know when should I expect to receive my grade and finally my graduate diploma.

I have all the conversation with LSBF and UoW personnel registered in my computer, and at this point I am being left with no options but to seek legal representation against the school. Because of this delay, I had financial losses because of being unable to access high positions, I am unable to proceed in my academic career and I am STILL with no clue when I will get out of this awful wait.

If any student had a similar problem and was able to solve it, please contact me and tell me how I should proceed. I am really desperate to solve my situation.

On the other hand, if you are a student experiencing the same problem as myself, please contact me as well. We might be able to seek legal representation together.

My e-mail is [protected]@hotmail.com

Thank you.

London School Of Business & Finance [LSBF] Refunds on tuition fees

I applied to study a postgrad in finance at the institution in 2014 and received a place for the 2015 year (March intake). As an international student, I am obliged to pay my full fees for the course, which I did. Thereafter, the university kept dragging the process along over months;
- In Feb 2015 they deferred my March intake to June because they said that not enough people had applied for the March intake so they were not having a course in March anymore.
- in June 2015 they deferred my June intake because they failed to provide me with all the information of what documents I needed to prepare, and yet I still met the timeline on which days I could arrive in the UK for studies (even though I had limited time to collect my documents)
-in Sep 2015 (the last intake for the year) the UKVI withdrew their VISA sponsorship, of which I had to find out from doing countless research and with no word or warning from the university. They wanted to defer my course again to March 2016, of which I was sick and tired of running around after the institution.

I made sure to immediately decline the deferral and requested a refund. After over a month, the refund was approved (Oct/Nov). The refund was approved with no mention of what timeframe the refund will be provided in. I have been questioning the date for the refund since November 2015 and it is now approaching Feb 2016 and the only response I keep receiving is a copy and paste email stating that I have not been short listed for the refunds in that specific month and I may be rolled over to the next month.

LSBF is not acting like a trusted institution and I would like to receive word on when I can expect this refund, and then receive the refund.

London School Of Business & Finance [LSBF] Fee Refund required from the LSBF

Writing this on behalf of an applicant based overseas. He enrolled for a course at the LSBF, payment was made and then it was brought to light that the applicant had not met the requirements for English Language tests.

Grounds of complaint
1. The LSBF deliberately misguided the applicant into paying the full fees without checking whether all the documents were sufficient to enrol the applicant as a candidate (and provide a candidate number);
2. If the applicants English Language proficiency did not meet the required standards, how is it that the LSBF if righfully allowed to keep the fees?
3. Since August 2014, all complaints, emails, telephone calls have been unreasonably delayed. To that effect that the applicant received an email from the LSBF from a Student Relations Officer called Karen Lee on 16 Jan 2015 stating that she would be in touch shortly, yet 7 months later we have yet to hear from the LSBF.

Resolution
The LSBF is unreasonably and illegally holding the applicants money. We request the LSBF to pay back what is righfully ours.

As a representative of the applicant, a British citizen, I feel disgraced and disgusted at the treatment that LSBF have put us through.

Unfortunately, unless we hear from the LSBF within the next 7 days, we will take legal action. Enough is enough.

If the LSBF do get in touch, I am happy to send across all relevant correspondence and documentation.

London School Of Business & Finance [LSBF] Dishonest + deceitful + fraudulent

LSBF (The London School of Business and Finance) Also St. Patricks College. We believe are the biggest fraudsters in UK EDUCATION today 2015. The owes us thousands of pounds and refuse to pay. It is out opinion that the owners GUS are 100% criminals that lie cheat and steal from students and business partners alike. We have found today over 200 hundred online complaints about LSBF + St. Patrick's College. We believe they have had a bad reputation for many years and yet the UK government continues to fund them. It is our opinion that they have bribed someone of influence in the government or there is a huge financial partnership with people in government as they have maintained a disgraceful reputation for over 4 years and still the government continues to pore public funds into this institution. We have been cheated ourselves out of thousands and thousands of pounds. What we state is FACT + OPIINION based on our dealings with LSBF which we are entiltled. We are mounting a court case against them. If you have been cheated or lied to or defrauded by LSBF or St. Patricks College please email us [protected]@gmail.com

London School Of Business & Finance [LSBF] Misselling of product and refund

London School of Business and Finance is clearly mis-selling it's CIMA Last Minute Tuition online course. It clearly states on their website that it "Recaps and summarises the entire course syllabus to confidently pass your exams" However after I had purchased the lectures and contacted LSBF to confirm when the courses would be available in my online account they advised me that the lectures are exactly the same as the lecture for the CIMA Tuition course and not a revision course as stated on their website. It's sold at a cheaper price and called Last Minute as you only have 1 month before the exam to study.

On applying for a refund as I had already purchased the CIMA Tuition course in July I got the following automated message
"Your refund application will be processed by our refunds supervisors, but please be advised that an initial decision may take up to 45 working days. The above time frame is applicable once we have received all the relevant documentation in support of your refund application." This is absolutely ridiculous as why should a refund as simple and straight forward as me not receiving the lectures I purchased as I'd already purchased them in July and was a clear case of mis-selling on LSBF's side take 45 days to resolve. In the meantime I'm out of pocket by £450 and being charged interest.

London School Of Business & Finance [LSBF] LSBF Fee refund

I enrolled for a course in Foundation in business programme and paid a deposit of £3, 250 for issuing CAS letter. Just 1 day before the issue of the CAS letter only on enquiry I was told that UKBA has cancelled LSBF licence as a result no CAS letter can be issued for VISA. I was advised to open up a refund ticket which i did. Its been 45 days now and I am still waiting for the money. Throughout this period I called them many times and every time I was told that someone is going to be in touch with me. However, no one has bothered to contact me nor I received the refund. I am now thinking about other options such has hiring lawyers in the UK. They are fraudsters keep away from them.

Hello again,

Last week, the Home Office lifted the temporary suspension of LSBF’s Tier 4 sponsor licence. London School of Business and Finance (LSBF) has now been reinstated on the sponsor register as a Highly Trusted Sponsor, which means that we can continue to recruit and sponsor overseas students with immediate effect. For more details, visit: http://www.lsbf.org.uk/news-and-medi...or-Status.html

If you have any questions, we would be more than happy to help.

Best regards,

London School Of Business & Finance [LSBF] Refund

I applied for MSc Finance and Investments programme in September 2012. Their current partner was the London Metropolitan University. I was accepted and offered a "scholarship" for £5, 000, so I paid £3, 000 to secure my place.
I arrived London in March 2013 to do the Pre-Masters course and when it was almost over I was informed that the partnership with LMU was over but that I shouldn't worry. I was supposed to start my MSc In June so I they ask me to pay the pending fees, which I did.
Then I never heard from them until I went to their office in Holborn to know what was going on with my MSc, the receptionist told me that there was no intake date for the period. I had to chase my recruiter to get an explanation, they told me that the Masters was postponed, he offered to enrol me in a course in order to fix my visa situation and they will transfer me when the MSc started.
They were pushing it more and more, they were promising partners like Gwydr University and the University of Lincoln, then for some reason it wasn't happening, until they finally wanted to enrol me in a MA, already begun, sponsored by an Italian Long Distance University, UNINETTUNO, which is nothing like what I signed up for.
During the whole time, they were hiding information, lying and avoiding confrontation, so I refused to take their offer and asked for a refund. It has been almost 2 months since I asked for it and I still have no "initial response". They only say that they are reviewing my case and they will let me know. Dealing with LSBF has been the most exhausting experience of my life. They just took my money, wasted my time and damaged my professional career enormously. Now, I'm only looking to get my refund and move on. I share my story in this website http://lsbf-london-school.com/, if you would like to share yours or have any tips please contact me.

I was an MBA student of LSBF and resubmitted my dissertation in July 2015, and up till now I have not received my results. I have sent several emails all to no avail.
This has really affected me because it has put my life on hold.
I would like LSBF to release my results immediately and also release the transcripts of all the modules I have passed so I can move on with my life.

London School Of Business & Finance [LSBF] Fees Refund issue

Hi initially i was registered for ACCA for September 2013 and wasn't able to go for September intake so I decided to choose the next intake I.E. March 2014. I have paid $4490 CAD for 6 papers. Unfortunately, when i made payment admissions weren't opened for 2014 intake, so Ms.Galya Nikulin suggested me to proceed with the payment for language gallery and said she will transfer the fees to Acca and revise the offer letter once the admission for ACCA is opened for 2014 march intake. Unfortunately due to personal circumstances I won't be able to go and study in Toronto this year. So I kindly request you to provide me refund of $4490 CAD please.
It has been one month since I have filed my refund request. I have noticed that this kind of situation happened to many students. I need help to get back my money. I have worked 12hours per day and saved the money just to pay my course fees.
I am really worried about this situation LSBF has put me in. Do I have to go back to UK just to fight for my money? If I do that will I get back my money.
Please help me guys.

London School Of Business & Finance [LSBF] Campus transfer

I'm a student at London School of Business & Finance, student I.D A4030648... I am so frustrated with this school. I'm an international student and the family i live with moved from London to Chester. I requested for a campus transfer and then i was advised to pay some fees with the assurance that my transfer from London campus to Manchester would be done swiftly. It's been almost three weeks now with no response, the semester already started and I'm missing lectures that i paid for with my parents' hard earned money. When i call for my student adviser, they are always making excuses why she can't come to the phone.
It feels like i'm wasting away, my account has been deactivated for no reason.
These people are very very very inconsiderate. They don't care about the massive costs i have to incur commuting from Chester to London, and yet Manchester is only 40 minutes away from Chester.
This is not the first time LSBF is frustrating me, two years back, they didn't issue my CAS on time which led to my visa refusal, i returned to my home country and was begging them for over a year, then they issued the CAS.
Lesson learned, not all that glitters is gold !

I have a similar problem. I have been trying to transfer to Manchester from London since Mar 2013. After 12months of using their online ticketing system, and 6months since I paid them the transfer fee I believed I was due to start a course tomorrow. I have had to fight to get communication from the ticketing team all the time - I believed that on 24th Feb my registration had finally been sent to Manchester and I would be registered, however after receiving no official documents I started to get very concerned and unsurprisingly no help was offered by the person supposedly dealing with me online. After numerous attempts I finally got someone to talk to me in Manchester admissions and according to them, they have received no transfer form for me. I feel disgusted that I have paid them money and been chasing for weeks, and yet they still have not organised me registering for a part time course! What annoys me the most is that this course starts later than all the other ACCA providers so I have missed my chance to move to a reputable college such as Kaplan or BPP, as well as losing my money and the opportunity to continue studying this term. I will certainly ensure that no other student I know registers with them.

London School Of Business & Finance [LSBF] LSBF worst college ever and very tricky on taking money out students pockets

Guys before you study at LSBF (London school of Business and Finance)...THINK MORE THAN TWICE. ('Everything what you see and have in front of you, not the real TRUTH)

Make sure, you must talk to current students there or make some research on it without having any problem further with your hard working money. They have made forged and doggy documents to CIMA and other students to get admission at Glyndwr University Campus and pretending that students are eligible for 20 hours work right once they get the CAS letter from the Glyndwr campus in Elephant and Castle.
As we know some students have taken an action against the LSBF for the forged documents that they have made for the students who were looking forward to study at. THE MOST IMPORTANT AND IMPRESS THING WAS, EVEN THE GLYNDWR CAMPUS DIDN'T KNOW ANYTHING ABOUT THOSE DOCUMENTS AND CAS LETTERS WHICH HAVE MADE BY LSBF.

Therefore please be aware of your money and other things with LSBF when you are dealing with.
Please share with us for other students who wants to know some new and information about LSBF

Regards

London School Of Business & Finance [LSBF] Still waiting for refund

I submitted my refund application 3 months ago, and according to LSBF website it takes 45 days to process. It has been way over that time period and i have still not heard from you. I have emailed repeatedly, called regularly, left messages daily. But no response.
I would like to know why is the delay in the processing of the application refund. I have received no updates, nor have i received any news about the refund amount, when and how it will be refunded.

Dear Sarah Sory to hear about your incident with LSBF and as still I'm studying at LSBF I have faced the same situation there.
I can highly advise you to go to the UK CITIZEN ADVISE BUREAU to take a legal action against LSBF.

http://www.lawcentres.org.uk/

THIS LINK WILL HELP YOU TO FIND YOUR NEAREST LAW CENTRE, just follow your home post code.
This is not the link for the citizen advise bureau but for the lawcentres where you can tell them your complaint and take a legal action.
Let me know your decision, what action have you taken so far? or Is there anything else that we can help you with?

Kind Regards

Dulana

London School Of Business & Finance [LSBF] Fraud

I have just found out that Ministry of Education, Canada has shut down the operation of LSBF Canada due to non compliance of law and failure to pay a total penalty amount of CAD $64000. I called the LSBF London office and continuously asked then if their office in Canada was still operational and they had no answer for that. They kept spinning the conversation around. I know several students who are expecting refund amounts of close to CAD 9000... please everyone... listen closely... they are doing some big fraud with everyone. I am proceeding with legal action against them and i do think it would be a good idea for everyone to keep calling up their regional and head office and pestering them for a certain answer on when the refund amount will be issued... if we work together we might be able to get out money back!
Find this information at the following link: Find LSBF under unregistered institutions...there are 2 notices issued against them.
