London Properties Managment
We have dealt with fishy property managments many times bfore. This one just took the cake. London properties owner decided to take off with everyones security depsoits and a month or 2 of rent. The managment went under quickly after. i was at least lucky to have a receipt cause the next management was unaware of the incident and went around asking for peoples rents and why they were late.

On top of that. London properties, like so many management agencies, never took care of their buildings or took actions to tenant complaints.

I know of other consultants on assignment in UK. The best services are those with corporate support. Too often, individuals go off on their own to find a flat and have issues with re-leasing by current tenant(s). In one such case, an individual signed a lease for 12 months and paid deposit plus extra security due to artwork in the residence.

However, the renter goes on family vacation. The house was robbed of various bits and related to property. The renter attempts to contact "supposedly" the owner. No avail for a couple of months. Continues to pay rent to "supposedly" owner.

Then, one day a knock on the door is from a property management firm enquiring why tenants were there. The supposedly owner was actually a previous tenant with a 3 year arrangement. At the end of the term, they property was to be listed for sale. However, on offer was accepted before property was listed.

total outlay missing/funds disappeared: over 90, 000 quid.

Always learn who you are dealing with and attempt to understand ownership status. Where possible.
