Lockerz / Internet Scam

The site works through points which a user accumulates and then uses to supposedly redeem a prize the site promises prizes to their members but what it does not say is that almost all members never get a single item. They have redemption's each month which promise lots of prizes but yet every month less than 1% of their members get anything. They scam kids into logging in and answering daily survey like questions which they sell to third parties and make a fortune. The site also sells every users address to different companies which makes them even more money. many users have accumulated over thousand ptz if not thousands logging in daily and using up all their time just to be able to get a prize but they never are able to get a single thing also the ptz that a user accumulates will eventually expire whether or not. When a person does redeem the company sends them an email telling them they will not receive the prize because their was a problem with the site or that the person cheated they have not sent thousands and thousands of users the prizes they redeemed due to a false accusations which the company can not prove. People especially kids are using up all their time on this site with no gain they are staying up daily wasting hours just for a chance to redeem a prize. lastly the company only gives a very few people prizes in order to seem legit and so that other users can think the site is real and other new users can think that the site is amazing. Do not join this site it is a very smart big SCAM!

Lockerz is not a scam. I've gotten several prizes from them, including an ipod touch, a Nintendo Wii, and a PSP. This kid most likely got caught cheating by making fake emails to get more points, so now he has to ### about it.

This site is a total scam. It sells expensive access to time slots that supposedly give kids an opportunity to redeem prizes. The time slot tends to sell out within the first couple of minutes and the kids are left without the prizes and much poorer for the effort.

Where I lost it was when my 13-year-old son bought an ipod sleeve for $25 (including $8 for shipping and handling!) in order to get more access. Needless to say his access didn't gain him anything, and he now has a very expensive ipod sleeve.

My concern that this is a scam was cemented when I called to complain and got an answering machine that doesn't take messages and a "support center" that didn't answer a single one of my three emails.

This site takes advantage of unsophisticated kids by making promises of getting something for nothing. As the saying goes, if it sounds too good to be true it is.
