I also received a sales call and made the poor decision to give Local Splash my credit card information to "hold my one and only" advertising spot they had available for my business. Before I had time to check my email, Local Splash website, and reviews, my credit card was already charged $268 same day of call. After notice of my card being charged and finding poor reviews on line the next day, I called to make sure my account would be closed and wanted my $268 back on my account. I talked to several different people who all tried to persuade me into not cancelling. After finally getting someone to tell me they would cancel my account, I still was receiving emails and called back, yet again, and a new person told me my account was still active. They refuse refund of a service I never used and continued to pass me around on the phone from one "manager" to the next. DO NOT USE LOCAL SPASH.

I to gave local splash a chance after several calls from a persisting salesman. He called every other day for over a week. I'm a seasonal business so I wasn't that enthusiastic due to the fact the end of the season was upon us [June 28] only 2 good months left and I didn't want the added expense during the winter, and it would take up to 2 months to set up everything. The sales person gave me a deal to where I paid $299 now and the balance later around March. That way everything would be ready to go. As soon as I gave them my card number they started automatic drafts on the 28 for the next 2 months. July 28, Aug 28 then Sept 1 and Nov. 1 Dec.1. I very seldom check that account and keep it for the toll way drafts. The bank sent me a statement it was over drawn. I never got one call off what ever they were doing so I didn't realize things were in play already. very costly mistake trusting these people. When I complained they told me they never guarantee anything that I was at the mercy of the caller. During the 6 months of service with them I should of gotten at least one call even if I didn't make a sale something is better than nothing. I have several other services try to sell me the same product during this time, they informed me that Splash had me on page 7 of their advertising list. When I had arbitration with the bank they moved me to the top of page one for the arbitration. Very shady people. Your rite, I didn't get a penny back.
