Loan Zoo Refund

I would like to warn people NOT to use this loan company they took £59.99 out of my account I asked for a refund which I had to print a form out and send back to them on the email they sent they also mentioned them keeping £5 for the admin fees but when they put the money back into my account I was £27 short! This may not seem a lot but to me at this time is a lot as I have ha over £400 taken out my account which is my rent money, when I finally got hold of customer services they told me they only refund half the money even though I still have the email to say they would keep £5 for admin charges! I don't no how these people sleep at night preying on people that obviously need help with money but then they think it's ok to take money out of there accounts I could understand if I had a loan of them but I did not! Got me into more of a mess than I was in! They are scammers n places like these need to be closed down!

On the 2nd and 20th June 2014 charges were made on my account from loan zoo who I have never dealt with. The charges come to a total of £9.98. Since I am not currently working I need this money refunded to me and stop charging my account when I have not authorized this.

Loan Zoo non authourized fee taken from my bank.

On the 11/03/14 www.loanzoo.co.uk took £44.99 out of my account. This was not authorized, I have not been looking for any financial help of any kind, so I know this was not my doing. Apparently they can get your details from other companies, which still baffles me as how the hell did they get my details when I hadn't been after a loan. I have called them countless times on [protected], I did get through to an adviser once and was told Id get a refund form sent to me ( this was 4 weeks ago), I still have no form. I then sent a recorder delivery letter asking for my money back, explaining I did not authorise this fee ( this was sent 03/04/14). We are now at 16/04/14 and I have not heard back. I've been in contact with C&A also and asked for charge back from the bank but seem to be running up blind alleys. Has any one had any joy with this scam of a company.?.?

Loan Zoo Taking money when i had know idea who they are

This company took money from account of 44.99 never heard of them and requested a refund which was promised that they would return my money minus 5 admin fee, they date came and went that they said they would return the money, and now no one will answer the phone or the many many emails that I have sent, I think its disgusting that they have the right to take my money without permission and then basically refuse to return it. Does anyone know what I can do to get my money that they took.

I had £44.99 taken from my bank without my consent from these idiots I telephoned the same day after being put on hold for 43 mins to get through I got told to fill out a form which was emailed to me within 30 days I would get my money back the 30 days were up I was told my refund was sent 2/05/14 and will take 1-5 days but it never appeared in my bank I called again to be told because of the bank holiday I would receive it the following Monday I spoke to someone called Ben who guaranteed the money would be in by midnight it wasn't so I called back on Tuesday to be told there was a banking error and I would be refunded the same day by fast track bank transfer and I would have the money by 5.30 I called back at 5.15 and said I know they are talking rubbish and it wouldn't be there and try only told me 5.15 as that's when they close so I couldn't contact them again today, I have sent very long emails copy and pasted it and let my computer go wild I have sent 400 emails on one day the previous day I sent 320 emails and each other day sent between 50 and 100 emails I have printed them out and got copies of the 72 telephone calls I've made, they made me go £17.00 overdrawn which I've been charged for I am taking this further as this isn't just about the money anymore it's the principle of it I want to close my bank account as now they have have my details to several other company's and I don't want to get scammed again but I can't close it as then I can't get a refund if I ever even will get one! I am thinking of driving to the offices tomor and refuse to leave I will handcuff myself to something so they will have to call the police to which I will have all evidence ready to show them that they have fobbed me off for over a month am hopefully I will then get somewhere I have opened a fraud case on this and have got a crime ref from the police but they don't seem to care as people like this don't care they think they are above the law and will just re open in another name there's to many loopholes in this ! I am extremely annoyed right now

i have had the same problem with them taken money out of my account hadn't even heard of them until it had cleared out of my account. no refund either as promised by them so gonna try the small claims court for refunds under £100 cant hurt especially as when you do get through to someone its like they know everything about everything but really know nothing and its your fault. you try looking for loan zoo on the internet yes it comes up with a phone number but it really is difficult to find the website most legitimate companies if you google their name come up at the top of the page. these companies in insight prey on people they know are skint even if only for a couple of days with the promise of a small loan you put your card details in you dont get a small loan only to find out in a couple of days loan zoo (they are not the only ones that do this) have taken money out of your account. when people complain to trading standard or financial ombudsmen its often investigated these companies sometimes shut down only to be re - opened by same people under a different name pathetic really but frightening in the sense they can get away with it

If you don't have an account with them, dispute it with your bank. If you have an account with them, perhaps you should cancel it.

My name is Alex. I needed some money as I have friends from America staying with me for a week so I applied for a loan on the 28th February. I wasn't charged finders fees or broker fees. I checked my account to transfer the last of my funds for safe keeping only to find I have none. I didn't know what happened to my money until the 3rd of March on my account. Loan zoo came up. They took £44.99 from my account. I have never heard of them. They are not in my web browser. I did not go onto their website. I have no idea how they got my money. I have had to sell personal possessions for money in a result to them taking mine. I want my money back. When I found out the name, I looked online for them toda for the first time and they have no contact details. What can I do?

These took £44.99 from my bank back in march, the bank disputed this for me and then wrote to the company after the bank had refunded me. Then 4 weeks ago the bank repaid them as they sent details if my alledged application, the Info they sent was a mismatch of Information for me, old work phone numbers etc. I havent been employed since last June. I have never heard of this company and never used them for anything. They said they would send me a cheque today, cant now get hold of them to find out if its been sent, apparently you can only now contact the customer service team by phone not email, but you cant get through on the phone, this is fraud and they need to be stopped.

I have seen many many complaints on here about Loan Zoo. After £54.99 was debited from my account without my permission and I found out who it was I googled it and my eye was drawn to this complaints website! Thankfully, useful posts on here have enabled me to contact them by phone, completed a 'cancellation form' and I have been given a set date for refund (a month away!) However, I then realised I should cancel my card for security reasons so I have had to resend - them different details to refund to - I have told them on the same day and before the refund to enable them to make payment which is stipulated on their form - now wondering if they will attempt to send to the cancelled bank card?! Anyway, this is clearly a SCAM and they are used to people ringing them and asking for refunds. "Jamie" was vague and my advice to anyone this affects would be to ask them direct questions, get specific answers, get them to confirm you will get a FULL REFUND, get their name, take details of the when you called, back everything up with emails. Does anyone know the name under which this trading name is authorised with the FCA? I will make a complaint and would encourage others to do so

I had £44.99 taken from my debit card in march by these scammers. I was then promised a full refund by 2/4/2014. I still have the email to prove it. Needless to say, no sign of the money being returned. I now have bank charges as I was depending on the money being there. Don't know how they got my details in the first place. They do not reply to emails and phone goes onto automated voice every time I phone.
I think the police should be looking into company's like this as this is theft as far as I'm concerned . I don't have a spare £44.99 floating around and depend on every penny I work for . Totally gutted by these scammers!

Hi, I have now had a few payments go out of my account made to loan zoo, i have not authorised for this payment to go out and the only way I can stop it is by cancelling my card, which then messes up payments that I do have attached to my card, I have tried to email them and contact them but have not managed to get through to them, I want them to stop taking my money. But I don't know what more I can do

If they deny your refund request, phone the Financial Ombudsman, you don't have to attend any office, all done over phone, just have transaction date and company handy. Loanzoo denied my refund at first, but after contacting the Financial Ombudsman, loanzoo emailed me 3 days later to confirm receipt of my refund which took 3 days to reach my account, similar thing happened with MyQuid aka MyLoan.

Contact your Bank advise them a fraud has taken place and they will refund you. Also ask for a new debit card so your card number will change. I have reported Loan Zoo to Metro Fraud Department and also the Financial Ombudsman. They trade under a number of different names and also they do not respond to emails anymore. Do not phone them as they will charge you for any calls and will say they are busy and phone back later. So do the following as this scam company will be closed down soon and the individuals prosecuted.
1. Phone bank report a fraud
2. Ask for a new debit card so debit card number will change,
3. Send a report to the Financial Ombudsman
4. Make the public aware of these ###
