I just conatcted my credit card company & canceled my card. They said that no one will be able to charge my card again. They will send me a new card with a new account number.

I also have been charged $19.95 at least twice that I noticed. I called my credit card Company & they credited my account & then the charge showed up again. I have tried to call the phone number listed & it will not connect. The Living Lean is from the Wu-Yi Weight L0ss Tea. I refused the 2nd box of tea of received an email from Wu-Yi saying that they had received the tea & the cancellation, but had to charge me a portion since it is a food item & they cannot reuse it.

I am glad for this board because i would not have known about how to go about getting a refund. I had to be persistent though. First - I packed up the tea and sent it back to them. I had to pay for the postal charges though. I made sure to send it so that i received the green card from the post office once it had been received. Shortly thereafter, i was refunded the full amount of the tea. I then had to contend with the 2 charges of $19.95 on my card.
I called and spoke with Frances at the [protected] number and she gave me a "complementary" refund of one charge of $19.95 and said that i would have to speak with a supervisor to get the second. She gave me a confirmation number. She then came back on the line and said that the supervisors were busy but that she would take my name and put me on a call back list - i told her no, and that i would wait on the phone for as long as it took. She did not hang up on me - after 10 minutes, she transfered me to a supervisor (who sounded like a little girl) her name was Taleah. Taleah tried to see if i wanted access to the website - I told her no i did not and that i had never accessed the site since Wu-Yi signed me up for it. I told her that all i wanted was a refund of the second $19.95 charge. She issued the charge and gave me a second confirmation number. Additionally, I made sure that she CANCEL the membership.
They were very nice on the phone - I was persistant, but not rude. Hope this helps. I will see if they will follow through on their word to credit my account.
Additionally, the living lean website does have a place where you can cancel your account. The URL is http://www.selfhelpworks.com/cancel/

I have NOT ordered the product "Living Lean." I have been charged for three months directly to my credit card. I have phoned my bank...and they are issuing another credit.
I too ordered a one time shippment of tea from "WuYi." "Living Lean" was never mentioned...what is the product?
Other than that one time order I do not order online unless it is directly with a dept store and then that is rare.
Thank you.

So, I have found there web site and have email them - to cancel the membership which i never asked for...

FYI web link: http://www.selfhelpworks.com/

If all of you would have read the agreement before you signed up (like I took the time to do) it tells you that the free trial for the wu-yi tea DOES INCLUDE ONE MONTH FREE ENROLLMENT IN LIVING LEAN, AND TO VISIT THEIR WEBSITE TO TAKE ADVANTAGE OF IT, AND CANCEL BEFORE THE MONTH OR YOU WILL BE CHARGED $19.95 EVERY MONTH AFTER THAT. It's right there in all the fine print that everyone convieniently ignores. This is why they refuse to refund your money. Because you choose to ignore the "please read the agreement details" doesn't mean you get to claim innocence and get all your money back. That's not called "a scam" it's called a CONTRACT that YOU TOLD THEM YOU AGREED WITH. Next time, CHOOSE to read it!

And for the record, I dont' know how well the tea works yet, but the actual "Living Lean" program works, and it only takes 6 weeks, so you only would have to pay $19.95 for the whole thing, total, even if you followed the program. I'm currently taking it (but then, I knew to go to the site because I read the agreement unlike the rest of you, obviously) and it has completely changed the way I look at food. I don't even care about the tea anymore.

I wish all of you luck, and hope you are able to learn from your mistakes and learn to read agreements before clicking the "I agree" things to continue from now on in order to avoid problems like this.

Yes this company is in a way scamming people because when you order the Wu Yi tea off of the Wu Yi tea source website you are automatically subscribed to Living Lean. It says this in small print when you are giving your info for the tea. Thats why this is sort of a scam. They do not make it clear that you are being subscribed and your info is being given to them. Anyways if you call [protected] and give them your info they will not have a problem cancelled. I recieved good customer service and for now all seems well. Hopefully i will not get any unauthorized payments.

Hope this helps
:)

I have exact same problem like others. I received on order and it was not helpful to me and I mailed it back for credit. I never received credit. When I call they tell me to e-mail. I had live chat with customer services and he said that I did receive the credit. When I asked for date he told me that sorry, it didn't happen and I will see the credit in two days in my account and never happned. When I asked for confirmation that I will get credit, he told me to print the chat conversation. It is not helping me and I have been being charged 19.95 for two months now. I haven't received anything for the 19.95. I want to stop being charged to my debit account. How do I go about handling this situation... Plz advise !

I CALLED IN APRIL AND CANCELLED THIS MEMBERSHIP. TWO $19.95 AMOUNTS HAVE BEEN SINCE TAKEN FROM MY BANKING ACCOUNT THROUGH MY CREDIT CARD ON 4/14 AND 5/14. SINCE THIS ACCOUNT HAS BEEN CANCELLED AND NO PRODUCTS (TEA), YOU SHOULD NOT BE CHARGING MY CHECKING ACCOUNT. I WOULD LIKE THIS ALL STOPPED IMMEDIATELY. OF COURSE, I WOULD LIKE TWO REFUNDS OF $19.95, BUT MORE IMPORTANT TO ME IS THAT YOU STOP WITHDRAWING MONEY FROM MY ACCOUNT. THANK YOU.

I live in the UK and had received one months supply of the tea you are referring to. I only used it for a short time and then cancelled any future orders. I received an e-mail acknowledging the cancellation but I too have had funds taken from my account every month since from living lean. I have now emailed living lean and have contacted my bank to try to get this rectified.

yeah i guess it's happening to everyone, i got charged too. I noticed because i had just bought something and wanted to make sure i had enough to cover and i saw a living lean charge from Las Vegas, i was like ok i live close but have not been there recently... called the bank CS rep said to get a new debit card if i didn't know who it was, i checked the internet right away but nothing till today, it's been a month since i got charge. I'll be making a call soon and requesting new debit and reporting them to my bank to get a refund, since banks can collect those charges unauthorized. THanks to everyone.

frightening how this company has scammed us all. for starters we have to call the credit company to put a stop charges from this wu yi tea. next we have to figure out how to inform the BBB to put the word out to folks to not fall for this like we did. together we can do put an end to this.

I ordered the Wu Yi tea for one month and then cancelled. I noticed an extra 19.95 on my last two bank statements for Living Lean. I couldn't think of anything I ordered under this name, until I looked it up just now. I will be calling my bank and the BBB.

Update... I was just on the 866# trying to obtain a stop and a refund to these charges. When I was first put on hold I was caller #3 with a 5 minute est. hold time. I hung up after 15 minutes when I was informed that I was caller #2 with a 30 minute est. hold time. I am going to see what my bank can do.

It sounds like this company is going to have a class action law suit against them if the right lawyer gets this information.
I am currently on the 866# waiting to demand a refund for the Living Lean Program that they have charged me for the past 2 months. I received the initial refund for the tea and was not vigilant enough about my accounts last month when they decided to go back to charging me without my consent. Good Luck to all who deal with this company and remember to keep copies of all correspondance as proof against them.

I just ordered the tea because one of my friends had great success loosing weight with it. Several times before you put in your CC info there is information about the Living Lean free 30 day subscription and then $19.95 thereafter if you do not cancel it. Almost anything that you purchase online/ tv infomercial will have these extra subsriptions tacked on. Couple tips that I have learned over the years: 1. READ EVERYTHING! Big print and fine print. In our society we are always warned about the fine print but not the big print. 2. Cancel the extra subscriptions ASAP before the free trial is up. 3. The banks are usually pretty good about working with you to get you money back. Good luck, all, in getting your money back.

They told me that living lean was a subsidiary of WuYi Tea and that when you agreed to try the tea you agreed to taking living lean although no one seems to know where this company came from nor have received anything from them. After I raised hell with WuYI, and I do mean hell, (no more nice guy) so far I have not had another deduction from them, I notified better business bureau, notify your bank, and change your bank card number, it may be an inconvenience, but it will stop them from deducting money from your card acccount. I also notified Oprah Winfrey, that they were using her as advertising for their company. Also, complain to your bank and put in a dispute of payment, the bank will tire of you calling and also stop charges. If Everyone, keep calling and complaining to them, they will leave old customers alone and move on to someone new.

Their telephone number is [protected], everyone should call them and complain like hell, after several times of raising hell with them, they agreed to give me back the two payments. however, you have to keep insisting on getting your money back. Another way to stop them is to get another bank card from your bank. good luck!

I found out via the phone# posted [protected] that they are associated with yu tea. I had ordered the tea and cancelled it I did not know and they didn't tell me you have to cancel the website living lean as well. He said it will be cancelled and my last 19.95 will be credited to my account. We will see.

I 've been trying to figure out for the past 4 months what the IW leaving lean charge was and finally Ive got some answers! I just called the number and got it cancelled and a confirmation number. They refused to refund for the other 3 months though and kept on hanging up on me when i tried to argue with them about this. I am going to go ahead and dispute those charges with my bank and also file a complaint with the BBB, the sooner we get businesses like this off the market the better! And by the way i was overcharged for the tea, they took out 54.95 instead of 29.95. I have actually GAINED Weight since drinking the tea. It increased my metabolism rather than decreasing it. And I have been trying to watch what I eat. I know it was not what I ate because Ive actually been eating healthier. But I noticed I've been getting hungrier ever since I started drinking the tea so I stopped.

I have been thru the EXACT same thing as all of you here have and I am extremely ticked off and upset.

I just called this company for the third time and got my third confirmation number to cancel this order again.

When I asked the man what the product was, as I never received it, I was informed that it was a 12 step weight loss program. I laughed and said I never received it, what was it supposed to come as? Pills, paper documents, what? He had NO ANSWER for me. But he then suddenly saw that I had called twice before and then saw the confirmation numbers that I was given previously.

THIS COMPANY IS A 100% SCAM!

You have to call your credit card company as soon as you see the charge on your statement and dispute it! You then need to wait on the line with "Living Lean" for about 20 minutes to dispute the charges and get a confirmation code. KEEP THIS CONFIRMATION CODE, as you WILL NEED IT AGAIN AND AGAIN!

I am game to start a class action law suit against this company, they need to be reported and stopped!

I just got off the phone with bank...obviously having the same problems. They deactivated my card right away and filed a claim to get my money back. The bank is refunding the 2 charges as a fraudulent claim. Protect your account from further charges. Do not believe they will stop or credit your account just because they say they will! Don't be so trusting

hi. I have the same problem. One day, they charged me with 29.95, when I return the package, also days later they charged me AGAIN, with 19.95 when they said to me an a email: "You have been removed from the autoship program and you will not be receiving any further shipments." I totally disappointed and just now I sent a email to them to give my money back. I call the 1-866 # number and is like disconnected. :@ Anyone could tell me what can I do ?

Same problem as all others have had... unauthorized charges by this so-called "Living Lean" of $19.95. Wu Yi and living Lean are ripoff outfits. Called my Credit card and they cancelled it. Will send a new number and it seems like it's the only way to stop them immediately. A phone call for the refund is in order...

I was sent two boxes of the tea, I sent them both back and called the number and i too cancelled my account, they even asked me why i was canceling, I told them that i had a open heart surgery after a heart attack and that my doctors order was to stop the tea. they assured me that my account was cancelled and that i would not receive any more deductions from my bank, but once agin the bank statement said they again charged the 19.95.
what we all need to do is sign a pettition and send it to the better business burea, they will help us get a refund
