We purchases a bulldog from Ms. Cleary December of 2012 as we thought she was a trusted breeder because we found her on the AKC website. The puppy was approximately 12 weeks old, we named him Barney. Turns out that when we took him to our vet for a new puppy check up we were told that Barney would need surgery for an elongated soft palate and pinched nostrils. Both affect how well he can breath. These problems were clearly apparent when Ms. Cleary sold us Barney. Ms. Cleary had had Barney under her vets care for shots and puppy care. My husband spoke w Ms. Cleary about the needed surgery immediately and we had asked her if there was anything she could help with (financially) as this was a problem when we purchased him and it was not disclosed. She had advised us to call her back when we knew more and received an estimate for the surgery. I took Barney for a consult and emailed the diagnosis and estimate to Linda Cleary, twice. I also followed up with phone calls and messages via two different phone numbers for Linda. To this day she has not returned any of our correspondences. Barney had his surgery this past Saturday and is recovering nicely. Shame on Ms. Cleary for her total disregard for the health of this puppy. Thankfully he is in a home now with people that care enough to make financial sacrifice for the health of a beloved pup.

Having the EXACT problem now with Linda Cleary and the very sick bulldog puppy she sold my My young Son and I in January of this year. Our puppy has a hole in his heart with fluids building. I have tried to reach her both at home/Facebook and also the real estate company she works for. Will not acknowledge or return calls and emails. Paid thousands for our sick puppy and wasn’t asking for anything more than advice as of yet. Stay away from Linda Cleary Bulldogs.
