I don't normally complain but when I do it's for a good reason.

On 5th Feb 2013 I applied for a TRIAL version of Lift and Glow Pro for £1.99 pp. I didn't receive anything until 20th April 2013 when I received a rather large tube through the post, sent by them. Why did I not call earlier? Sometimes, depending upon demand, the product is sent out later than what you anticipate (e.g. I requested a 6 in 1 steam mop last November via Wowcher for just the postage price. I only received it at the end of February). I thought it seemed a bit big for a Trial product and didn't touch it. I had to wait until the following Monday to contact them as their site said they were not open over the weekend. On the same Saturday I had some of my Direct Debits returned to me as there was no money in my bank account. Now I always leave money in to cover my bills so I took a look at my statement but was unable to see anything. When I looked on the Monday it stated that £81+ had been removed to pay for the Lift and Glow Pro product. I took a look through the internet and found that if you requested a Trial version of their product you had so many days to ring them to say that you didn't want any more to be sent out and if you missed the deadline you then received a full version of the product and would continue to receive the product until you cancelled the subscription. Now 1) I hadn't received the Trial so had no idea that it worked this way and 2) There was nothing on the actual Trial Application page that told you this. I called the company and got through to a foreign lady who could barely speak English. She told me that I was outside of the trial period so didn't qualify for my money back. Well 1) I hadn't received the Trial product, 2) I knew nothing about being put on a subscription which she said I was now on and 3) I would never pay that much for a cream, no matter how good / bad it was and the reason for the request in the first place was to see if it would be beneficial to my skin as it's very sensitive. At the end of our conversation I managed to persuade her to cancel my unknown subscription, even though she kept saying she could do it cheaper if I stayer with them, and told her that I would be reporting the company to you and sending in a letter detailing what had happened and requesting my money back.

I just want my money reimbursing and to lt other know not to touch this company until they know all the facts.

I too got caught up in this scam - FACEBOOK need to take a close look at companies advertising with them - did put a complaint in to facebook got the general - we do not comment on individual e mails but can assure you all a read !
I ordered what I thought was a free trial product around the 23/26th Nov - needed card details to pay for postage - did not see anything stating that this was a contract that if I wanted to opt out I needed to cancel within 14 days or that they would send other items and take any money from my account using details intended to only pay for postage - the advert is very miss leading I and now it would transpire many others ordered and paid postage for a trial product and have now had money taken from their accounts that they did not agree to pay for or request delivery of.
I ordered the trial giving card details to pay for postage. However a day or so latter saw post claiming this was a scam and that they would continue to send products while deducting large payments from your account. I had no contact details for this company and as I did not receive a confirmation e mail no way of contacting them as the advert seemed to have disappeared off facebook. I went to the bank and explained to them what I thought could potentially happen - they set a dispute and I was told that any payments requested by them may be taken out of my account but would be refunded within a couple of hours, Must say I left the bank feeling one foolish lady for falling for it but one thankful lady knowing the bank were sorting it. However it does not end there - just after Christmas decided to pay off my credit card - on line banking - balance came up and I automatically thought wow must have spent more than I thought over xmas period - but got statement up only to find they had changed name and had taken £348-74 in total out of my account over December. I went back to the bank and as a dispute had already been set up they were able to refund me the full amount. The gentleman I spoke to advised me not to accept any product they try to send and gave me trading standards number to inform them. This morning (3rd Jan) a package through the door - so immediately phoned trading standards who took down all details and advised me to return package, However I now have and address and phone number to contact them so eventually after waiting aged to get through managed to speak to a foreign lady who agreed to cancel the agreement - one I was not aware I had made - when asked if she wanted me to return the package she did not know and said that another department would be in touch within 48 hrs to let me know - reading through other comment I feel I have had a lucky escape - and that the bank is being more than fair with me refunding payments made to this company BUT I doubt this will be the end of it - watch this space will keep you informed of what goes on - if anyone needs the number to contact them please let me know - THIS IS A SCAM it reads as though your ordering just a free sample but end up receiving creams you do not want/need or have ordered and they take money from your account - did not think I would ever get caught up in anything like this - I have it can happen to anyone.

I have also been charged £84.17 pence when I ordered this free! product, I have since read the terms and conditions via website, I have asked my bank not to pay any further payments to them and also tried to send the product back as it was causing my face to come up in red blotches and my GP told me to discontinue, I have also tried phoning them, there is an answer it rings for a short while then cuts off, I cannot find an email address, I sent the products back to an address on their web page but it was returned to me reason was that addressee had moved away, I am disgusted with this scam

Seems l'm not the only one to fall victim to this SCAM. I too had the pop-up on FACE BOOK while looking for something else. The £1.99 trial product seemed a bargain for a Christmas present for my sister who lost her husband to Cancer a few months ago & needed cheering up. I expected small tubes not 2 bottles. They arrived after 2 weeks. No invoice or anything to notify me that l could be entering into a membership with them. I put the package away & thought no more about it till l checked my bank statement 2 days ago. £84.76 had been taken twice. I immediately found the package & searched for a contact number. There was a card at the bottom with several countries listed. I rang the UK number 3 times before l spoke to some-one & the voice was so quiet & muffled l could hardly hear. The foreign person after listening said l hadn't returned the product before 14 days so l had been charged full membership, however after my rant he said he would contact the mailing department & l would receive an e-mail. I felt sick at the thought of losing so much money. l have recently finished my job due to health problems our my money has to stretch to pay the bills. l immediately went into my bank & told them the situation. The advised me to wait for the e-mail in case the company refunded my money. No such luck. The e-mail stated no refunds after 14 days but the would give me products worth £9 0 if l went to their website. No chance. I e-mailed them back insisting on a refund as the stated TRIAL products not full size & no where did l see anything about membership. l took the e-mails to the bank & they are now taking it up with visa. l 'm hoping l'll get my money back but reading all the letters, unless these people are caught & fraud can be proved l don't hold out much hope. FACEBOOK must look into this & quickly before more unsuspecting people are scammed.

This has also happened to me, offered free trial of creams pro glow serum and lift product for the cost of £1.99 . Did receive the products quite quickly in the post. Then to my surprise received a second batch two weeks later. When checking my credit card statement to my horror realised that the company had taken two amounts of £89 and done the same again two weeks later. A total of. £340 was taken out of my account. The second batch of cream was empty. My credit card company have stopped any more payments being made. When I tried to contact the company on the telephone number they supplied with the product, I was put through to a call centre out sourced to Prague. She said there was nothing she could do to reimburse my money but would stop the product being sent. There was no small print or any thing that indicated they would continue to send me the product or charge me the amount they did. Additionally they charged me for everything they sent and no free trial was ever received. This is a scam and the people who are running this are dishonest and criminal.

Like all of the above I to have fallen victim, my products arrived well after 14days. Also I could not locate their website. So imagine my shock when I checked my bank account and over £80.00 had gone out. I rang my bank and there is nothing I can do. I have also now managed to locate a telephone number, but I work [protected] and cannot make calls in work hours ! Fortunately the bank have cancelled all further payments.

I fell victim to this offer - nothing on the offer page to suggest further payments would be taken. Offer was worded as though they were looking for people to test the product. I thought I would be asked some research questions after using it….. Fortunately I was alerted to this scam and phoned my credit card company to discuss. Their fraud dept. confirmed they knew of this company and its underhand tactics. Thankfully credit card co agreed to put a block on further transactions which they will keep on for 40 months. Their experience is that once three or four attempts at taking money have been blocked then the fraudsters back off. Cancelling the card is no good - terms of the so called "agreement" mean that the agreement is ongoing regardless of card status. I've also tried to email company that shipped products to me telling them I wished to cancel the "agreement" but I've had no reply. No surprise there then!
if you use Facebook alert all your contacts to this scam! I saw it on Facebook as a pop up offer. Facebook may refuse to carry these adverts if enough people complain about them!

Like the last person who made a comment about this company, I placed an order for a trail lift and glow pro product and found myself in more or less exactly the same position. This is a scam and I had to troll the net to find out more about this company, I managed to find the 'so called contract' where this company automatically sign people up to, after they apply for a trial.

The contract states it will take dollars but takes GB pounds, using the same account details you’ve given them to pay for the £1.99 trail offer. I cancelled my product on the day I had an email from the company saying "they'd already sent the product..." only to discover from my bank statements that they'd taken the trial period, a further payment for £87.71 and another payment for £89.66. My bank had to reissue my cards because it’s clear the company could go on using my card to unofficially withdraw funds from my account.

I contacted the company customer service after I’d sent email after email asking how much they’d withdrawn from my account, and they’d ignored this question. On the advise of my bank etc I made contact and couldn't believe when a Asian chap responded to my cancellation request that my cancellation was ‘so many minutes too late to cancel’! Furthermore he tried to negotiate with me, saying if I didn't pursue or insist on the return of my third payment he would reimburse me my second payment but only if I agreed to forfeit the other payments? Was he kidding, that’s my money his company had taken without permission and he was trying to make a deal with me! I told him “no way”…

He also got very fearful when I told him the conversation I was having was being recorded and said he couldn’t talk to me anymore unless I turned off the recording... Very dubious and suspicious way of customer service, don’t you think?
I could go on but my advice to anyone using this company is ACT WITH CAUTION, I contacted a variety of agencies including the police fraud squad where an investigation is being undertaken...

Be careful people and don’t be taken in by this…..No skin product is worth the amount of anguish and problems I’ve had to go through…..Watch this space.
