I ordered case for iPhone from the website www.lifeproof.com. It was total rip off, ‘coz after the seller got my payment, and he sent me fake tracking number. I checked it on the next day, but it fault and showed completely nothing. I haven’t found any contact info, so I have no idea how to reach the seller and solve my problem. Maybe someone can help me. Please, post comments.

I bought a lifeproof case with the understanding it was waterproof. I'm a volunteer firefighter and we had a call that 3 teenage girls had been swept down a flooded creek. I jumped in and pulled the girls out not thinking my phone was in my pocket. My phone did get wet and quit working. I notified lifeproof but they refused to cover my phone saying I did not buy the extra water policy. That option was not given to me when I bought the case. The case does not do what they claim and they do not stand behind their product. It was a big waste of $100.

The first 8 months of owning the LifeProof case were great. Lifeproof and I were best friends.

After that, I began to have problems with the rubber on the front of the case. It began to peel off, and I made a call to LifeProof to have it replaced per the warranty agreement. They agreed to replace the front case, but only after verifying that the serial numbers on the case were legitimate. I also had to send in the front of the case before they would replace it, leaving my phone defenseless for about a week. The new front works well even now.

However, the hinged cover for the charging port cracked recently, about 14 months after my purchase, and two months after the warranty period. Of course, I figured I wouldn't even ask LifeProof customer service to replace the back - with their track record, I was bound to hear rejection anyway. So I purchased one online through their website. That was a mistake. I waited 14 days thinking there was no problem with my order. However, after speaking with customer service (after a 30 minute hold), apparently my order didn't get past PayPal, and so was never shipped out.

I got my money back through PayPal - I submitted a dispute to protect myself, and the refund was processed the same day. But then LifeProof shipped me a back cover the next day. It gets more confusing from there. I received an e-mail with an RMA number 4 days later. Being a guy with scruples, I called them, waited the requisite 25-30 minutes, and talked with them. Seems LifeProof finally got the PayPal payment in their system, shipped out the case without realizing they had processed a refund, and then decided they wanted their case part back. I asked if I could pay them for the case, with a discount for the trouble I went through. They said that I had to send back the case part they already sent but I could buy another one at a 10% discount. All this trouble for $3.00 and to wait another 5-7 days for a functional case? Not a chance. I'll send them their part, but I will never recommend them again. Not ever.

I bought a Lifeproof iphone4S case from this website. When I put it on my phone, it appeared warped so I contacted the Lifeproof folks as they have a warranty. Once I gave them the serial numbers and told them where I bought it, they said, "Unfortunately, the website where this case was purchased is not an authorized retailer of our products. These serial numbers have actually been confirmed that this case is a counterfeit LifeProof case." I have contacted everbuying but they have yet to respond.

I ordered a headphone adapter ($20) for my daughter on Nov 17th. Received an email on the 20th stating the order was fulfilled. The email included a tracking number but no link to whatever carrier service they use. It's almost 3 weeks later and the item has not been received. The website scrolls a continuous message about "high call volume and technical phone difficulties". If you call the support number it rings "busy". The website directs you to send an email, which triggers a return email stating "your concern has been assigned to a customer care team and someone will contact you asap". Guess what? No one ever contacts you and if you send another email it triggers a new "case" number and promise to contact you. At this point, if I ever receive the item I will consider myself lucky. Either way, I will never order from this website again. This site has worse than poor customer service, they offer no customer service.
