Allergan - Juvederm injections

On 10/19/2023 I paid $1,400 to Dr Antoine Hannah of la nouvelle spa in Oxnard, CA for Juvaderm. He used the product to disfigure my face. I made an appointment with him on 10/24/23 to get the injections fixed and to get my money back. The 5 days in between I have been depressed and anxious and could not even leave my home because of how hideous he made me...

Allergan Allergan patient assistant ptogram administration

8/6/2020 Called today asking where my RX Armour Thyroid was which I get every 3 months for the past 5 years...( I pick up from Dr. office last delivery June 2020) I called [protected] (call service got Mabel then Mandy/supervisor) nobody could explain, kept putting me on hold gave me another # to call. Then I called [protected] "customer service" another call center (Colleen) no help. Allergan changed the program Aug. 1 2020, nobody was informed, not me not my doctor. Had I been on a life sustaining RX I would be DEAD, in addition it takes 7 days to "put it in a box to ship" then 7-10 in addition for mail which may be longer. I have had problem befoe w/the way this program is administrated...VERY BADLY ! also too many numbers, I have a customer PO #, NDC # on my invoice, customer relations # just got today, w/another order #... The Allergan auto phone response asks for all you info. name, DOB, zip & customer relations # I just got today over the phone after 5 years? This is the MOST SCREWD UP system & it raises my BP every time I have too call! My last call was in Dec. 2019 advising of new doctor/change, new application had to be made over again & this has to be done every year +perscription . The doctor perscription is good for 1 year, why does Allergan make your doctor call every 3 months to "re-order" the same RX? please advise this needs improvement...pb

Allergan skin care product

They use an affordable priced and 30 day trial to attract customer to try, they will charged US$189 for 2 times if customers do not return the product. Obviously is a scam. Firstly, we have paid the money for trying this product, they have no right to request us to return it. Secondly, we only purchase the product through an online paying method, it's only one time payment, they have no right to deduct our money through our visa card without any authorization. Thirdly, this company cannot regularly deduct our visa card, we just agree 30 day trial of lifecell sending to our address, have not signed or clicked that we understand and agree with their terms(see the attached).

Allergan cheating, fraud, vague response-lifecell

After paying the annual fee for about 17 years (Rs 3, 500 / annum), Lifecell suddenly came out and started asking for additional money to continue preserve the blood for lifetime. which was never discussed or agreed. On asking for clarification, there was no clear response from lifecell customer care. Theire responses were vague. Since June 2018 we have been asking for clarification and there was no clear response. There were 10-15 emails and several phone calls but no clear response. We then clearly informed them that we donot want to pay any more money as our queries are not clarified. After about a year in May 2019 suddenly they started sending payment link asking for payment as if nothing has happened. This is pathetic and completely UNPROFESSIONAL.

We even sent emails to the there senior managers in charge of collection Mr Venkatesh at Venkatesh.tATifecellDOTin and at gowthami.rATlifecellDOTin and to Mr Jagannathan at jagannathan.vATlifecellDOTin. There was no response from these people. But they kept on directing the customer care to send payment links and harrass the customer.

After paying for about 17 years and an amount of Rs 70, 000+ we felt like we did a biggest mistake in enrolling with LIFECELL. It is a lifetime blunder for us. Lifecell has not suspended out agreement unilaterally and continued sending payment links.

We have now decided to complain about this company at prime minister level and will file police complain.

Allergan medication

I contacted this company to purchase hormone medication on April 23 2019 via email and WhatsApp after posting a request on Indiamart. After several days of negotiation we agreed on a price of $300 U.S. I paid for this order via Moneygram on April 30 2019 to a Mr Raj Kumar and the funds were collected on May 4 2019. I was told that my order had been shipped and I would receive a tracking number shortly but received no correspondence from Allergan. I sent several WhatsApp messages and emails to them over the next few weeks and received sporadic replies stating that my goods had been sent but there were delays due to the courier service they used. I would send many messages to them for the next two weeks and again I got a few messages back saying the package had been dispatched and not to worry, it was a problem on the courier companies side. At this time I have still not received any tracking information or any indication that Allergan has or will send me the goods I have paid for. I have emailed Allergan India, Allergan Global, sent messages on Indiamart and WhatsApp telling them that I intend to make formal complaints and contact the police over this matter unless I am fully refunded or sent tracking information and Allergan refuse to answer. Below I have added screenshots of my WhatsApp, email and Indiamart message history with Allergan.

No the scumbags refused to answer my emails, texts and phone calls. The number I have which I was contacting them via WhatsApp was +[protected]. They are rip off merchants, don't ever trust them. If I had the time I would go to the slums they operate from, find the thieving [censored] and rip their throats out, but as I have no wish to visit that [censored]ehole of a country hopefully they will all contract cancer and die a slow painful death.

Allergan scam product

In Australia, I acknowledged an ad for a trial of this product at a vulnerable time. I had to pay shipping costs to and from Australia. This product is not effective...and over priced. You can much higher concentrated of genuine Vitamin A and C easily and very cheaply. I accepted this at a vulnerable time and now face exploitation...and read many comments about how people have not been refunded their money.
I learn, later, that it is US180! This sales pitch is illegal in Australia. I have been out of pocket for shipping ..both ways ...to the value of $50...much more than the product is worth!
I am very nervous, now, that the will not honour a refund. Dop not fall victim to this scam!

Allergan life cell

Dear Sir / Madam,

I purchases the LifeCell All In One Anti Ageing Treatment. The advertisement and Order Confirmation only stated a cost of USD 14.50 for shipping - I subsequently received a charge on my credit card for USD 189. Plus an email indicating another shipment was been made. Their advertisements are misleading and contravene the UK Trade Descriptions act, in addition to the European Data Protection act.

The company is perpetrating a scam and embezzling many customers.

I have been seeking a refund from the company

Please can you help.

Allergan South beach skincare

After the company received the trial back within the allotted time, this is the email I received from them:

This email is to confirm that we have cancelled your order and your account will be reconciled accordingly.
Please allow 5-7 business days for the process to be complete.
For international customers - it may take 7-14 business days for settlement.
-If you returned your trial of LifeCell within 30 days, then you have not been charged anything other than the original cost of postage.

This very day they went ahead and charged me anyway!. When I noticed the debit on my bank statement, I called their customer service to complain. Their representative state that a refund was issued. HUH? and that now I must wait 2-5 days to see it on my account. As I was speaking to the rep about all the deception, she hung up on me. I proceeded to write an email back:

To whom it may concern: [please note the subject of your email- LifeCell Refund was processed]

Pursuant to your email confirming your receipt of my trial, I am quite disappointed that you charged me.
The instructions given to me was to have the trial back to you by the thirteenth of April of which was complied. The email attached from you strongly states that if it was received within the 30 day trial, there would be NO CHARGE!, and yet, you did charge me! Now I'm told by your representative, Jennifer, that I need to wait 2-5 business days to see a refund. Why on earth would I be charged at all is beyond me. Putting that charge on my account will now put me in a difficult predicament with my bank.

This whole issue, from "only pay S&H..." to "returning trial..." has been one after the other deceitful venture.
At this point, as I stated to Jennifer, I wouldn't pay a dime for this product even if I did like the results, due to one representative's rudeness, and the verbal and non-verbal lies and deceptions.

Kindly have the refund issued this HOUR so I can see it on my bank account.

Thank you.
I don't trust these people. I cancelled my card and now, inconveniently, need to change all my accounts. Thanks LifeCell :(

How can we stop these people?

THIS IS A TOTAL SCAM. They advertised on Apple News targeting men about their “free trial”. Then when I text chatted with them on their “Free Trial” link, I was told that if I kept the product after 30 days, my card would be charged $189. Whoever I spoke with said that AND their posted “Guarantee” says: " If you keep LifeCell beyond the 30 days “free trial period”, your original form of payment will be billed $189." After that the payments would be $149.00. HOW is there any free trial period when the first payment is even more than the following payments? They said I would also be charged $20 for shipping overnight with delivery on Saturday (and that this was a 50% discount). The cost for overnight is $99.94 so you know it would be sent ground (3-5 days) which is $10.96. I didn't trust this trial period billing promise and purposely used a credit card that I recently maxed out leaving $50.00 available credit. Sure enough, they just tried to charge my card the full $189 before I even started or received their product. THIS IS A TOTAL SCAM

Allergan Unauthorized subscription to a product touted as a free trial, with only shipping costs to be applied.

I am still waiting forfor r a company iNvoice and original order number. The company name is LifeCell, South Beach Skincare. LifeCellAntiAging.com [protected]. I did receive an e-mail acknowledging the cancellation. However, after paying the initial shipping costs for the allegedly "fREE" trial item, the company debited the account again for $189.95. I had no way of knowing they would charge me. It caused a great debacle at the bank and overdraft charges as I am going through a divorce, I now bank elsewhere and the account from which I paid original shipping charges is now defunct. Again, they waited nearly a month to charge they're outrageous and totally unexpected fee, did not inform me of my pseudo subscription, leaving me with an overdraft charge.

Buy a Visa Cash Gift card for the amount you want to buy. Use that number and not YOUR credit card or debit card number. They can't get any more than is on your cash gift card. Someone told me to alway try this way when asked for a credit card number because the scammers will bill you full price and do it in some cases every month and it is a nightmare to get the bank to stop honoring their removal of funds, even after you've notified the bank of the scam. ALWAYS go on the Internet and google in s uch terms as critics of the product. Do not be fooled with scams put on the Internet by the actual company with nothing but great comments about the product. You can tell who wrote them because of the way the site is worded.
Never give them you actual credit or debit card. Buy a Visa card that is worth only worth so much. It may work and they cannot get more money of out you than is on that gift card.

If life Cell is that great why are the famous people not using it and why are no positive results shown?

When I hear bla bla bla in a jar all you need is this product and you will look young again
Well if that were possible I still cannot understand why the rich and famous are not using it and we do not see magic results because let's face it there is one way to look younger and that's with the facial treatments which cost about 2500.00 as a start up cost and the same amount every 4 to 5 months to maintain, I got the face injections and what it did was fill that sagging space on my face to bring my cheeks back like when I was 30 and it did cost me nearly 4, 000 that afternoon and yes I liked the results but I could not spend close to 8 or 10 thousand dollars a year and during my treatment another woman was called in and they agreed I needed Botox here and there, I was just so excited to see a younger me but, I did see fewer wrinkled but not worth 3 or 4 thousand dollars a visit, I get an email saying come in and get your face rejuvenated for the upcoming holidays, sure does have a nice ring to it but again it's all about research do your research about any product, or buyer beware.

Allergan Free trial is a scam

I ordered Lifecell cream through a "free" trail - just paid shipping. I failed to get any results and called to stop any shipments. Then Surprise! I had a $189 charge on my credit card. When I disputed it, I was told that not returning the free sample within 30 days meant I would be charged. I had no resolution on this. Quite the expensive free trail.

Hi, I felt for the scam also. Just received my bank statement and US $189 charge on it. I was too late to stop the payment and not sure they will ship anything even though they ship the product is not effective at all, guess will not even get back the refund either. Well we had learned a good lesson of buying things from internet.

My wife and I are only into our second month, we have seen a minimal change. However, they were very upfront in saying if we did not return it within 30 days they would charge the full amount for the product. You have the option to order on demand or have your order sent at specified intervals. I don't know yet how effective the product will be, but it is not fair to slam them because you did not read the offer.

Allergan Scam

Received Lifecell product from (Hollywood Florida) in mail and found charge on my credit card. I did not order the product. Called the company and Jessica kept insisting that someone in the house ordered it--I said that no one here ordered it or ever heard of it before it arrived. Jessica kept insisting that if I had not ordered it then my wife had ordered it. Then she insinuated a number of times that my wife was lying to me about this.

Allergan Cheater and scam

I saw the ad on LifeCell online and went on to purchase the Trial package for the Lifecell skincare in US. It was courier to me to Singapore. Subsequently in the next 2 months, there are 2 unathorised transactions from LifeCELL! This company is a total scam and should be reported to the respective authorities in US. I am lodging to a complaint board in Singapore and has stopped the credit card transaction. There are 4 key problems with this company which I will be disputing against on laws of tort and misrepresentation:
1) The terms and conditions was ambiguous at the point before we order the trial package. This resulted in misrepresentation.
2) The pop-up window for us to key in details on so that the transaction can be made quickly unknowing the consequences.
3) The 2nd transaction was not even notified prior to making the purchase and it is not stated in the terms and conditions to the purchase.
4) Clearly, the product is not as effective as shown with celebrities report and all. These celebrities should sue against this company whether they indeed purchase and use the product with proven effectiveness.

DO NOT BE CHEATED FROM THE COMPANY - LIFECELL SOUTHBEACH SKINCARE

I will proceed to file a complaint against this company through our Singapore authorities.

OK, not sure if you are just one of those people that want free things or something BUT the first 2 parts of the TERMS AND CONDITIONS from the website are VERY CLEAR. I think you just decided not to read them. It is very clear that the triel is free for 30 days and then you must pay for it if you decide to keep it AND you then have to pay for the next sample up front.

PLEASE READ FIRST in the future.

1. TRIAL ORDER TERMS AND CONDITIONS
Your 30 Day Trial Period will start when the order is placed. You will be responsible to pay Shipping and Handling charges for your first shipment of LifeCell. If you wish to cancel your order within your Trial Period, simply call [protected] and return your tube (even if it's empty!) within 30 days from shipping date and you will not be charged anything other than the shipping and handling fee. If you enjoy LifeCell, do nothing and at the end of your Trial Period your credit card provided today will be charged $189.00 and you will automatically be enrolled in the LifeCell VIP Discount Club. This means that in approximately 30 days from the end of your Trial Period and every 60 days thereafter, you will be shipped a new 2 months supply of LifeCell for the low VIP price of $149.00 per tube with FREE shipping for domestic customers. This is a reoccurring order which is more fully described below in section
2. Remember, you can cancel at any time by contacting our Customer Care Department at [protected] or visit us online at www.lifecellskin.com. Today's charges and future charges will appear on your credit card as South Beach Skincare/Lifecell or Life cream.
Note: When using a debit/credit card, your bank will pre-authorize your card for $189.00 thereby creating a pending transaction on your account. If you see this on your account, it's only a temporary authorization and will disappear in a few days. It is NOT a charge. We do not charge your card (besides S/H) for 30 days. Keep in mind all transactions on this website are in USD. If your financial institution operates with a currency other than USD, they may assess an international currency exchange fee.
2. RECURRING ORDERS
PLEASE READ THE FOLLOWING SECTION CAREFULLY. THE FOLLOWING SECTION DISCUSSES A NEGATIVE BILLING OPTION INVOLVING THE PRODUCT(S) YOU ORDER FROM THE COMPANY. AS DISCUSSED IN GREATER DETAIL BELOW, YOU WILL BE LIABLE FOR PAYMENT OF PRODUCT THAT WAS SHIPPED TO YOU, AND PAYMENT FOR FUTURE SHIPMENTS OF PRODUCT, UNLESS YOU NOTIFY US TO STOP SUPPLYING THE PRODUCT TO YOU.

If you do not cancel your order within the 30 Day Trial Period and return the Product to us within 30 days from shipping date, your credit card on file will be charged $189.00. If after your 30 Day Trial Period you wish to continue to receive LifeCell, simply do nothing, and in approximately 30 days and continuing every 60 days thereafter (a Recurring Order), you'll be shipped out a fresh new 60 day supply of LifeCell for the low VIP price of $149.00 per tube with FREE shipping. For your convenience, we will bill the credit card you provided us for your initial order.

Allergan taking money without concent on trial

I'm from England and saw this add for a trial product. I paid the shipping fee but read your concerns and cancelled it the next day. I received an email to confirm this and they then sent me a duplicate. I emailed them several times a day sorting this out but they have WITHELD RETURNS AND CHARGED ME FULL PRICE WITHOUT MY KNOWLEDGE OR AGREEMENT. I am due in hospital next week and they have taken no STOLEN as it was with without my knowledge 189 dollars. And they are demanding I send them the product back and pay for returns. I am contacting the consumer complaints England for this scam but hope you read this before you make yourself stressed. I wish I had seen these reports before they conned me.

Life Cell skin is a fraudulent company on so many levels. The ' free trial' offer is written so badly even an attorney couldnt make sense of it. Done on purpose. Second its not a free trial as they have your credit card information and they WILL bill you even if you return the product! Only way to stop them is to change your card info and start investigation with BBB and your banking institution as I am now. Secondly this product is nothing. The ingredients are bogus, the people who claim they use and love it are fictional. It does nothing more than put a heavy layer of creme on the skin as coco butter would. The most money they put in their company is the bad customer service people and the fancy card board boxes they ship out to distract from a cheap product. It IS a scam people, and they WILL bill your card fraudulently as they have hundreds others. They are NOT counting on repeat business. Dont be dumb! By pass this hole in the wall who will go under due to all this.

Thats my point... THEY ARE UPFRONT... The FIRST part of the terms have EVERYTHING you need to know... You people are just too STUPID TO READ IT...

Your right...think before you act..we humans can so easily miss the details which is exactly what they are hoping for. You can read this information before. I had to go back through the order processing before I found where I had gone wrong. Just wish companies would be more upfront. Buyer beware...If it sounds too good to be true then it probably is. Also FREE TRIAL is different than FREE SAMPLE

You are correct, you can read it before you order, But why are they not more upfront? Why put it after the submit button. I had to go back and go through the motions of ordering to find where I had missed this critical information. You are right Think before you act because companies DO USE very clever marketing practices. They are hoping that we don't think before we act!

sa2014... What are you talking about?
It is not hidden anyplace... You are asked if you agree to the terms and you can click on it to read it. If you do not agree then they will not process the order.
But that does not matter either because you can read it BEFORE you do the order.

THINK BEFORE YOU ACT PEOPLE

They hide the above information AFTER the submit button for the free trial. I had no idea they were charging me $189.00 after 30 days and would automatically send me another shipment in 60 days once again charging my account. If this product is so great why do they have to be so deceptive. I am ashamed of myself for falling for this marketing scam.

I do not understand people... Even if you did NOT want to read the entire terms and condition, the first parttells you ALL that you need to know. It reads:
This is a reoccurring order which is more fully described below in section 2.

Allergan product does not work

Product not effective. I did not place a second order but received a call from my credit card bank and managed to stop payment on time. Emailed them to say that I am not interested in the product same day that I received an email that they are preparing to send product. However, 3 days later received email from DHL to say that product is shipped and is on its way. Fortunately for me no damages thanks to quick thinking of my bank to stop and cancel the card.

Allergan Fraud

Lifecell is a beauty product designed to make wrinkles disappear. They advertise on their website for a free trial. In the instructions and terms it states that you will not be charges the $189. 00 until after you have had the product for 30 days. I, too, like all of the other statements, was charges the $189. 00 plus the shipping and handling. I cannot testify to the whether the product works or not because i could not get past their shady business practices to use the product. I have had to close my debit card account so they could not charge any more charges to my account. I did not trust them to cancel my account, even though i have spoken to a representative and i have sent an email cancelling any further transactions. My advice to any one who has given them your bank info to cancel that card or take action to dispute this companies charges in the future. I will putting a claim in to get my money back from these crooks and i hope to put them out of business in the near future.

I am a victim of the LifeCell underhand marketing practices as the other people have been in wanting a trial sample of a cream and ending up being charged an exorbitant sum for a wonder product that cannot be or it would have been marketed honestly in the first place. Simple deduction!
These worms will have their comeuppance. It is already written into their karma!

Hello Angela,
I have taken action against these worms for the same reason as everybody else.
I would greatly appreciate your confirmation, with proof to me that you are acting against this company and that you are not part of the scam and thus in cahoots with them. No offence meant, but for a woman to use Esq. after her name rings warning bells as it is authorized and suitable only for men as part of English cultural tradition. A Lawyer would normally know this!
With my regards
Nicholas

I just paid for the shipping of the free sample this morning of an amount of $14.00 and got $200.00 deducted from my account AT THE EXACT SAME MOMENT! I had to call my bank to cancel my card! What a fraud! They deducted the money even though I didn't ask for the whole thing and before I receieved anything!

I fell for the scam too. I then researched the net how I could complain about the merchant when repeated emails rendered
unanswered. Eventually I lodged a complain to Better Business Bureau and Internet Crime Complaint Center. I even wanted to complain to Federal Communication Commission and Federal Trade Commission. I wanted them to pay. Even if I don't get a cent back, I wanted to teach them a lesson. I wanted them to be blacklisted for scamming people. Within 2 days, the merchant replied asking me to return the product and giving excuses that my mails went into spam. I replied saying since there was no make mention that you must return with the box in the website, I will just return my tube and still expect to get a full refund.Yes I also complained to my credit card company and they are in the midst of investigation. I will forward the email to my credit card company and BBB.
Some of my friends esp males said to let it go. Why should I let such people go? I want them to learn a lesson and not mess around with anyone. You want to do a decent business do it properly. If not you pay for the consequences. Most people let it go so they get bolder and scammed more people.Apparently, they are getting such good traffic they are in yahoo websites. I will do what I can to complain to google and yahoo and cause them to decrease their traffic.

I just ordered the product and was only supposed to pay for the shipping and when I tried to use my credit card for another purchase, it was declined. Checked my on-line bank statement and have already been charged the $189.00 for the product even before it was shipped. What kind of scam are they running?

Allergan Lifecell Anti Aging Cream

This company South Beach Skin Care took $189.00 from my bank account without my authorization. They were offering a free 30 day trial of their anti-aging face cream emphasizing that you only had to pay $2 and change for Shipping and Handling. A few hours later I went to withdraw cash and saw that I had none because $189.00 was withdrawn. I was stunned. I am unemployed and never would have consented to $189 per month being withdrawn from my account. When I called South Beach, they claimed they couldn't cancel (even though I never consented) because they had already shipped the product (we were speaking less than 24 hrs later). I told them I didn't want it but they said I had to wait till I received it then ship it back at my own expense. Then my so called account could be canceled and I could get my money back. I think this company should be investigated for shady business practices. Nowhere did it say that one would have to pay $189. Nowhere, if anything it stressed the opposite. This is unfair to the public to allow this company to perpetuate this scam. I can't tell you the problem I am now having with my bank to straighten this nightmare out.

this is a 30 day trial meaning if you've gone over that 30 days you are no longer a trial and get charged full price of the product. i would say you thought you could cancel on or after that 30 day mark and didn't realize that's not how 30 day trials work. You have to cancel within an x amount of days.

Allergan deducted credit card after cancelation of product

I placed an order for a trial of Stemcell which advertised an amount of approx $14.00, however I immediately found many complaints in regard to Lifecell and how they automatically bill after a month. I sent an email cancelling the order however the order arrived at my address in Australia. I sent the package back to Lifecell unopened and emailed to LifeCell notifying them of this. I also said that I did not want any amounts deducted from my credit card.
Today I noticed an amount of $211.00 taken from my credit card.
This is incredibly upsetting as I cancelled the product and returned it to them to avoid this.
I have copied all the email correspondence below

I fell for the scam too. I then researched the net how I could complain about the merchant when repeated emails rendered unanswered. Within 2 days, the merchant
replied asking me to return the product and giving excuses that my mails went into spam. I replied saying since there was no
make mention that you must return with the box in the website, I will just return my tube and still expect to get a full refund.Yes I also
complained to my credit card company and they are in the midst of investigation.
