LG Electronics service in lg egypt

I have lg Nexus 5x which I bought from UAE around 9/2016 and the device has stopped working suddenly and I don't know what happened especially I didn't face any problems with this device, today I went to lg Egypt for maintenance but the representative told me that this device can't be maintained in Egypt. I don't understand how could I buy a device from lg and the company isn't responsible for doing its job (diagnose the problem and solve it) this a thing that makes me rethink about this company and for sure that I won't recommend you to anyone else.

LG Electronics lg dryer

Model DLEX337DW had an electrical fire at the top of the interior of the dryer.
It was burning after being unplugged. LG had a repairman come three times and the wiring still produced a fire from a different location in the dryer. Oct. 6 2017 to December 12, 2017 and still no resolution. The dryer was under the one year warranty. The LG scam is that only "executives" can authorize a replacement or money return and that division puts a 30 minute hold without answering. They give an automated, "Your time is valuable..." However, they do not respond to calls. It is the worst executive scam in the United States.

While I can certainly see how it's inconvenient, I don't see any examples that show it to be a scam. Have you reached someone by phone yet?

So can they service it, whereas it's under warranty? Contact the retailer you purchased the unit through. They should be able to get a Return Authorization on your behalf.

Dear Mr President,

I am writing today to complain of the poor service I received from your company support service in Slovakia on December 8, 2017. I was in contact via chat and also by phone with LG support team in Slovakia, I explained a problem with my TV but I was very dissapointed with communication. For my questions I have not received any answers, he refused to deal with my questions. Moreover your representative promised me that I will be contacted by service within 2 days, now it is 3 days and no phone call from the technician or somebody who could help me. My TV is not functioning at all and Christmas is coming ...

I repeatedly tried to ask your representative about the problem, but without any response. I think you will agree that a communication problem exists in Slovakia support team.

I trust this is not the way that LG Company wishes to conduct business with valued customers. I look forward to hearing from you.

LG Electronics customer service

Please assist me with lg mmr electronics situated in 64a pickering street, newton park port elizabeth. We took our flatscreen lg tv (Model: 50pt350r) that had a damaged/broken screen to lg to fix about two weeks ago and maybe I should mention that before we took it to them we phoned them and asked for a quotation (Which was given to us as r2500 - r3000) and when we got there wayne (Who I assume is the manager now sang a different tune and told us that we were not supposed to be given a quote over the phone and that it was just an estimate (Forgetting that it was his and his employee's duty not to give us such information if they were not sure) and he had the nerve to blame it all on us saying that he can give us a figure once they have looked at the tv and whatever damage they found. Fine, we ended up leaving the tv and we all agreed that they will just check whether there was any other damage other than the crack on the screen. After I tried to follow up with him on numerous occasions, he eventually told me on friday last week (1 dec 2017) that there was nothing else wrong with the tv and they will fix the screen for r 3000. The tv will be fixed by tuesday. I had to phone him once again to follow up because they do not even bother phoning to let you know what is happening. Yesterday, he told me that he would phone me before the end of the day but guess what, nothing. This morning I phoned him, he said we can come and collect it this afternoon after 3pm. At 15h22 this afternoon, I received a call from their office (Same lady who quoted us r3000 before), asked by wayne to phone and tell us that when the tv fell it was on and so there was a board that got damaged, they managed to fix the screen but now they are trying to get a second hand board in order to fix the tv. All in all the tv is not fixed and judging by all this he lied when he said we could fetch the tv this afternoon. I have reason to believe that he is used to treating customers like this or he is just a chance taker all in the name of lg. He phoned me on saturday at 11h55, when I saw the missed call at about 12h05, no one answered the phone and the agreement was that he was going to find another board for us but this morning he is telling me that he could not find one and that is it. I cannot accept that he expects us to pay for a new board when he was the one who said nothing else was damaged. If he found nothing else wrong before, when and how did this "board" become an issue? He has a stinking attitude to top it all, when all he has shown all this time is incompetence. Please I urgently need assistance

LG Electronics stainless steel dishwasher

I just installed a brand new LG dishwasher, and it has a " 10 year Direct Drive Warranty" label pasted to the front. Is it meant to be removed, and if so, how? It appears to be stuck on fairly well, and I don't want to damage the front door by blindly trying to pick it off. I have no problem with the LG logo atop my dishwasher, but this warranty label affixed to the top right of the door is "not appealing" at all.

Customer Service response was excellent, clear, and concise - but I did not like the answer.
'...I understand that you're having issues with the warranty label on the door and I am more than happy to assist you. Apparently, it was not intended to be removed, so doing so will damage it. A replacement door may not have the label on it, but you would have to purchase it.

Meanwhile, what we can do on our end is we will submit this as VOC (Voice of Customer) so the department in charge will be able to look into this for vast improvements or further actions...'

Now I guess I just have to live with a warranty label right smack in the middle of my remodeled kitchen. Quite honestly, if I thought the label would come of (ie. just marketing / sales info), I never would have purchased this unit. If you really needed to keep this label on for marketing purposes, you could have made it smaller and stock it on the bottom of the door - not right at the top.

LG Electronics unethical behavior

So here is my long story about lg and their customer service. We bought a washer/dryer and a refrigerator when we moved to or. Got delivery on 11/22. Refrigerator freezer handle broken, and the dryer-knob broken. Well we can use the refrigerator as a loner but dryer we refused due to being unable to use it. The delivery drivers told us they will get in touch with lg to re-order. A while goes by no phone call from lg. Husband calls gets a new delivery date. 12/8. I get a call from lg saying now delivery will have to be 12/27. Husband calls back about 30 min after I get this call and talks to another service rep (Brian vaughn) and says we got you a date for the 8th. No worries. Husband calls 12/7 to make sure the delivery is going to happen. Same customer service rep that he talked too before said yes definitely delivery tomorrow between 12-4. I get a call on 12/8 11:30 from that same customer service rep that no delivery will be on the 27th. I asked to speak to his supervisor. He gets on and says actually no delivery will be jan 10! He said we can either cancel the whole order or wait. Husband said if we want to cancel we will call back. Now, the dryer is in stock. We haven't had a dryer and I had to either dry on a rack or go into town and dry my clothes. It's not their policy to split the order if one item is back ordered. So we have to wait. Meanwhile I went to home depot to see if I could get a loaner or something and he proceeds to tell me our order was canceled! That customer service rep cancelled our order and even placed in his notes we called back to cancel! Why the heck would I go to home depot to see about a loaner if I cancelled? Called customer service back and said there is nothing they could do since it was canceled. I got on the phone with corporate office of lg and a service agent said the order on her end was pending cancellation and yes they could have reversed it. So rtoday 12/9 I called customer service again and after talking to one rep I asked to speak to a supervisor, another person got on the phone and was rude so yes I was rude back because he was not listening to me and hung up on me. No I didn't get this persons name. I called back, got the same person and he hung upon me again. I called back got someone else and then I was transferred to the manager named amber. She said she will look into the matter. We never gave permission to cancel our replacement order nor asked for a refund. We were lied too by mr. Vaughn from the beginning and we called him out on it and he canceled our order. We just want our replacement order. Now we are in limbo not knowing about appliances we already paid for and not having. Plus when I was at home depot the customer service person said we were never on the schedule to have delivery the 12/8. So the lg rep lied to us on several occasions. We understand that the refrigerator was on backorder, we've been in our new house since 11/6 and not have had a dryer. We live in the country so it is not easy for us to go to a laundromat just to dry our clothes.

LG Electronics plasma tvs, surround sound, bluray

Just a warning for Holiday Shoppers considering buying LG products:

Over the last few years, I've purchased 2 60" Plasma TVs, 2 Surround Sound Systems and a BlueRay Player from LG and now none of them work. Both Plasma TVs show only a blank screen with no sound, (one has been repaired three times already at my own expense and is now broken again), both surround sound systems have failed, (one shows only artifacts on the screen and the other doesn't work at all and the BlueRay player won't turn on at all either.

I contacted LG to see if they were willing to assist and was given a flat "No" because they are all out of warranty (One of the TVs is only one month past warranty). I pleaded with a manager to understand my plight considering the fact that ALL of my LG products have failed within a few years and was simply asking for assistance with part numbers, etc. so I could perhaps fix them myself and they wouldn't even assist with that stating that they do not assist with self repair in any way at all.

I understand that sometimes things break and do not last as long as we'd all like, but EVERYTHING I own made by LG is a lemon and their customer service is not only unhelpful but uncaring. Please don't make the same mistake I did and just stay away from LG Products unless you've got money to burn.

I don't normally take time to bash brands or services but I just wanted to share my experience with LG Products in case anyone else is considering purchasing one this holiday season.

I've had and seen just the opposite experience with LG. They've been wonderful to work with and I wouldn't hesitate to own merchandise produced by them.

I can state very clearly that plasma television technology hasn't been produced by anyone for many years. If you don't mind, how old are the TVs we're taking about?

Have you checked with the retailer you've purchased the merchandise through? Many offer extended service agreements that would repair or replace the products for you.

LG Electronics lg pro tone headset

I bought this headset several months ago but did not use them until 11/06/17. I bought a new iphone so instead of using my old headset I set up my new ones. I was having problems with the sound so I took my phone by to Apple and its not the phone its the headset. I called your customer service and the man didn't have time to talk to me I asked for a supervisor he said they don't talk to people. This is my second paid do the LG. The first I got about 4 yrs ago so that's why I bought these. All I want is to see if they can be fixed maybe reset. But if this is the way you treat your customer I will never buy any more LG product and will advised my friends and also post it on social media

LG Electronics 55lv550y 55" led smart tv

Bought >4 years ago. Worked perfectly. Recently while attempting to view my cellular (LG4) on the TV screen by using "LG CAST" application, a software fault occurred. From this moment and on the menu and the picture are distorted. The menu is therefor unreadable thus further setting is impossible. All the rest function properly. The Israeli sole importer service recognized that this is indeed a software fault but he cannot fix it unless by replacing the entire main electronic board for a cost of about 750$. Is this acceptable ? (Guarantee period expired a year ago). Thanks for your prompt answer.

LG Electronics refrigerator.

I purchased an LG refrigerator with Best Buy in June 2017. The ice maker stopped producing ice in less than a month. I called Best Buy and LG company immediately. It took them a few months to send a tech to my house. Then the tech finally came and processed his paperwork incorrectly according to LG. So I had to send LG an attachment receipt of the purchase and picture of serial no. through an email link LG provided to me. So They promised about send out another tech 2 months ago. I call them every week and they continue to promise that a tech will call me to schedule an appointment and I have not heard anything from them. I am very upset because the claim has been on for over 5 months. They have not fixed my ice maker and continue to ignore it. It needs to be taken care of before the warranty expires.

LG Electronics lg promise for a refund

LG promised us a refund as the fridge we purchased was under warranty and was unrepairable so we were promised a $1, 200 refund cheque back in September 2017. We were told it would take 6 weeks to process. It's November 29th and we still have not received one cent. I have called every day for two weeks and still received nothing. Each time I called, I have received difference excuses. I warn everyone whoever purchased a crappy appliance from LG, be prepared for poor customer service. HORRID, TERRIBLE

LG Electronics refrigerator

My LG refrigerator is 19 months old, and the compressor has gone out. The repairman is charging me 375.00 for labor. I am upset.
I bought the appliance on March 25 2016 at Lowe's.
It broke the Sunday after thanksgiving, and I've had to wait three day for a repairman. I lost over 150.00 worth of food and meats.
I cant afford this. I am retired and on a fixed income. Your appliance should have lasted much longer than it did.

When you purchased the fridge, did you purchase any additional warranty coverage through the retailer? I like LG appliances, but as you've learned, even good appliances can break. There are those who prefer not taking the risk, so they add additional warranty coverage on their purchase. It might be worth checking with the retailer to see what they can do for you. They can really be a life saver.

LG Electronics lg home electronics

My parents are seniors (80s) and LG fridge, and within 4 years the fridge broke down, service repair person deemed the fridge "unrepairable". We started working with LG on how much money they would give my parents for a new fridge. That was in early September, we agreed to $1, 200. They indicated it would take 6 weeks to process and they would receive the cheque. It is now November 27th and we have received NOTHING. We have been calling LG customer service daily for one week now seeking when they would receive payment. We have been receiving the run around: we will call you back in 5 minutes or we will have an answer for you within 48 hours and we have yet to receive an answer. Christmas is coming and my parents are without their money. They needed to purchase a new fridge without any funds from LG. They truly have terrible customer service and I would not wish anyone the hell my parents have gone through. DO NOT PURCHASE LG PRODUCTS, AS THEY DO NOT STAND BEHIND THEIR PRODUCTS.

LG Electronics mobile phone g4-lgh818p

BOOTLOOP- LG G4
I bought my G4 the 26/01/2016 from LG electronics Algeria (Hassi messaoud), purchace N° ASDZB00180-16010115S.
the 14/11/2017 my phone had the famous (bootloop) problem which is that the phone get stuck on logo and don't run.
I contacted LG algeria for support, because the problem what officialy recignized by LG, and there response was to buy a new motherboard (150$) which is half the price of the phone... whereas in other countries they take care of the phone repair/replace. the only explanation is that because no one will see; it's in africa.
Here is LG's statment

LG Electronics washing dressing machine

I have one washing dressing machine made in thialand since july 2015, i have some problems in all white or light clothes by oil or rust from washing machine clothes LG, i had call them over 6 months they told me by cleaning salt and lemon and vinegar but result too bad and problems increase after calling by call center and technical support along 6 months they agree to send a technician to see washing dress machine after came he told me the best way to make cleaning around now, i wait to tested it today ...
My question if it work why call center or technical support didnot say this way from 6 months ago or send this technician to me, and what i will do by all cloths soaked by rust it over 700$

And on another side if it still have same problems why they not exchange by another one if it has problems and my washing machine in grantee.

Finally i like LG. I have many Tvs, washing machine and although i just by another washing machine in this month as cadeau for my mother can you check it .
I afraid on name of LG. So i trying to give you feedback on this problem if solved or not

LG Electronics french 4-door refrigerator

I purchased a French 4-Door Refrigerator (Valued at $4000) from LG in March 2016 and 18 months later it has died. My 10yo Samsung in the garage is still going strong. LG sends a tech to replace the Compressor and another part and it dies 2 weeks later. Tech came back out and says it may be a leak within the walls of the fridge and leaves. I call LG to request to have replaced because I don't want a pieced together product when I thought I was getting a good fridge and they said NO that my fridge doesnt qualify to be replaced and they want to send a Tech out a 3rd time. Meanwhile I missed Thanksgiving without a fridge and I'm not guaranteed I'll have one for Christmas. I purchased this fridge because it was supposed to be one of the best. Now they want to take it apart and replace parts again. They never returned my calls I would have to chase them down. Absolutely the worst customer service EVER! and the I would NEVER purchase another LG product again. DO YOURSELF A FAVOR A BUY SAMSUNG!

Appreciated reading your complaint.

Actually I prefer LG to any other consumer level refrigerator within the market. I'm quite heavily involved within the industry and recommend LG very highly.

It is true that there is a process which needs to take place in order for a product to be serviced. Generally the warranty on most appliances is a one year-limited coverage. With LG, they also guarantee the compressor for 10 years, but on a pro-rated bases.

When you purchased the refrigerator, most retailers offer additional warranty coverage. Although it can be offered as a benefit to simply buying from a particular retailer, it usually comes at a nominal cost. Was this something you elected to purchase?

Knowing this, I may be able to provide some additional information to get the issue taken care of more easily. If it isn't already remedied, please drop me another note.

LG Electronics dishwasher delivery

I ordered a dishwasher from home depo on November 11th 2017. the delivery of the dishwasher to my home was scheduled for November 15th 2017. I had a class to attend that day so I had someone come to my house to wait for the dishwasher while i was in my class for aprox 2 and 1/2 hours. I then waited the rest of the day for the dishwasher to arrive. When it didnt arrive by 4pm I called home depo and spoke to them who assured me that it was still scheduled to be delivered today. They provided me with a # to call the delivery company to see where it was at. I called the company and was informed that the dishwasher was never delivered to them from LG and that LG was supposed to call me to inform me of this information (neither me or the other person on the account received any call from LG). they then informed me that they would not be able to deliver it until the following week once it arrives to them. I then called LG the next morning and was on the phone with a customer service rep for about 1 and ½ hours only to be told that GE failed to put the dishwasher on the truck to deliver to the 3rd party delivery company so it could be delivered to me. He said there was nothing they could do as it was GE's fault and that I have to wait untill sometime next week for my dishwasher to be delivered. I informed him that it was the fault of their company and that i was assured i would receive the dishwasher before the weekend so i wanted it before the weekend. He said that he called GE and spoke to them because they are the ones who "dropped the ball" and that there is nothing they could do. I then called GE and to discuss this situation with them and they told me that they just received the dishwasher from LG today (Nov 16th) and that there is nothing they can do to get me the dishwasher any earlier than next week even if i was assured it would be to me before the weekend. I would like for my dishwasher to be delivered to me before the weekend as I was assured it would be so I do not have to go and pick it up myself.

LG Electronics lg tv service

I have several LG products & have always been satisfied.I purchased a 49" smart tv, from day 1 it had a pink tint. I bought it at Best Buy & also bought the Geek Squad protection. Since it was only 1 month olds when I called I had to use the LG service. When the serviceman (Dexter) arrived he was rude & in a hurry. He stood & pushed buttons on his control so fast I wasn't able to see if he was changing anything. He took 3 personal calls in the short time he was here. He was annoyed & when I asked him to slow down he got nasty & raised his voice. I had to tell him to leave. Thank goodness when I called the Geek Squad they agreed to come out & look at the tv. If it can't be fixed I will return it & after the service call from LG I will no longer buy LG products.

LG Electronics lg trom dryer fire

Last night our LG from dryer caught fire with our clothes in it. We were able to put out the fire and save the majority of our belongings (including our house) before there was too much damage.
Obviously we went out and bought a new dryer right after removing the old one from our home.
Today we called LG customer support and they were just awful. They were not at all concerned about the fact that their dryer was on fire. They told us that there would be a $190 service fee to come inspect the dryer but since the dryer as on fire they suggested we just buy a new dryer. They didn't even ask us which dryer it was - which you'd think would be important if they have a habit of catching fire.
We had a professional in to check our venting and everything was fine, the problem was with the dryer it's self. LG is not interested in hearing what we have to say.
Needless to say we will NEVER buy LG again, and we will also be telling everyone we know who has LG not to buy them because they set on fire, and we will be telling everyone who is looking about their customer service.

Hi Megan.

I'm heavily involved within the appliance industry and I think I can shed some light on the issue. LG "TROM" washers and dryers haven't been produced within the industry for nearly a decade - if not longer. So we're talking about a fairly old appliance in the best case scenario. TROM dryers haven't had any particular issue with combustion, so it's by no means any concern with such an old appliance; it is just as likely that a component failed upon one of the circuit boards just because of age. Ironically, I really like LG washer and dryers. They're considered some of the best within the industry. I wouldn't necessarily hesitate to replace it with another LG dryer.

LG Electronics washing machine service duration 90 days

Good evening,

This is for your kind attention that I bought mostly all household LG products and have been using the products more than 15 years in Abu Dhabi, United Arab Emirates.

I bought a Washing Machine Model No. F10B8NDP2 one and half years back and it was working fine. On 19th October 2017, my washing machine was not running, so i raised a complaint to the Service Centre to find the problem and fix it. A Technician reported after 4 days and told that a spare part is to be fixed. He collected UAE Dirhams 150 as service charge. He will come fix it soon. Even if there was no reply from them, I called customer care number, so i got a message that an order is placed to get the spare parts from Korea. They will receive within a week time and resolve the problem. It is now completed 3 weeks, I did not receive any reply from service centre. I contacted customer care about the update, I was informed that the spare parts will receive after 60 days only. Once they receive, then will come and fix it.

Since washing machine is very important one and we used to operate 3 times in a week to wash my family and children cloths. Further, it is very long time to sort out such issues by a Company like LG. I do not know with my children how can I manage further minimum 2 months without using washing machine.

I have attached receipt given for payment made for initially to check my washing machine where job number is also mentioned for reference.

You are requested to involve in my matter and try to solve the issue by getting the spare parts at the earliest.
