LG Electronics Service deficiency

NOT GIVING SERVICES AS PER SCHEME

Mr. Rakesh Kumar of Sudhir Sweets, Central Town, Phagwara had purchased a 2 G A.C. Split Unit 1.5 Ton as mentioned in Tax Invoice No. 23596 dated 29th June 2005 from M/S. Singapore Raio Corporation, Banga Road, Phagwara Ph [protected] under the Scheme of 3 free services with in one year of the date of purchase. As from the date of installation he got trouble & reported the matter to the dealer & concerned Service Engineer. On the first visit by the Service Engineer at my shop at Central Town, Phagwara, the said Engineer could not rectify the fault in A.C. On my number of telephone calls & visits no service engineer visited my shop to do the free service afterwards. Then Mr. Rakesh Kumar personally went to Singapore Singapore Radio Corporation & inquired about the service procedure. The owner told him that for getting first service you have to go through us and rest of the services will be made by company’s service engineer when it is due. As it is in their record. Hence he requested him to immediately send the Service Engineer to rectify the problem. The owner promised to send the Service Engineer tomorrow. But the Service Engineer reported once and could not rectify the fault. From that date nothing has happened so far except getting false assurance every time. So, it is a Case of Very poor service.

Now I request the concerned authorities to replace the defective A.C. as the set has not been working from the day one. From the first date Mr. Rakesh Kumar of Sudhir Sweets is saying that the set is defective so its better if this be replaced by new one. As he had been facing the problem and hundreds of visits and telephone calls to the dealer had been of no use.

Customer engineers are not used to give call slip while they are coming to the customer site, they used to charge the service charge without any receipt. I recently changed my Spin Door in my Semi Automatic Washing Machine through your customer service center at Udaipur (Rajasthan) - India. The CE who attended my call told that he forgot to get the bill book to give bill for the item for which I paid and committed to give the bill later. But so far he didn't given the bill. He used to charge less amount without making call slip or bill.

LG Electronics Disgusting after sales service

I had purchased front loading washing machine WD-15265 from Vijay Sales Santacruz (W) vide their bill No. 19964 dated 1st March 2007. The cover of the soap dispenser was found damaged while delivering the piece. I was assured that the cover will be replaced in a couple of days. I therefore accepted the delivery of the machine. Thereafter, despite my calling half a dozen times to LG customer care centre, Shree Ganesh Electronics as well as Vijay Sales the need ful is yet to be done. Every time, i am assured of the action without any results. I am extremely disappointed with the LG / Vijay Sales service. In case the company is not able to replace the cover they should replace the machine . In case no action is taken within 2-4 days, i shall be constrained to move to the Consumer Redressal Forum.

This is the first time i bought LG product as well as my first purchase through Vijay Sales. I really regret for going in for this .

LG Electronics Not giving services as per scheme

Dear sir,

I have purchased lg window with remote 1 ton ac 12g2rde1 item as mentioned in the tax invoice no. 401055 dated 6 oct 2006 from m/s kohinoor tele video, jn-3/39, sector 9a, vashi, new mumbai, telefax: [protected]/22/21 under the scheme of 3 free services within one year of the date of purchased. I was waiting lg service engineer to come my house to do the services as per the scheme till 5th april'06. then I personally went on 6th april'07 to kohinoor showroom and inquired about the services procedure. they told me that for getting first service I have to go through them. hence I have requested the same immediately to the lady at first floor counter and she promised me to send the service engineer tomorrow. I am calling daily to kohinoor shoppe and requesting to send the service engineer but nothing is happening so far except getting false assurance every time. very poor service

We have had a part sitting on the washer for 2 months now. Still not installed. This was after spending nearly $300 on an electric board we did not need! So much for the quality of work the LG tech has. Another tech found that the motor was bad. Getting it installed has been one nightmare. And I am in the Tampa FL area.

The paint is peeling off my black stainless LG fridge ... this is extremely upsetting! This should not be happening at all! I had no idea there were so many problems with the black stainless line, and I had complete faith in the quality of LG appliances ... would never have expected this from this company!

Bought $3000 fridge to have compressor fail after 2 yrs..lost $300 of food.had to wait 2 wks for replacement..less than 1 month COMPRESSOR FAILED AGAIN! REALLY?! Again lost food. Tech installed incorrectly! Working for now but lg reimbursed me only $200.for lost food when I am out $400, plus lost work and having no fridge for weeks! Never buy LG!

Lucky I was home could smell horrible burning smell. Tracked it down to the LG dishwasher. I took the door apart and found burnt wires.

"Your TV does not support this program's content protection." Everyday this appears . Complaints to the company get a response to replace the hdmi with component cables...back to the past and impossible now the the tv is attached to the wall. Always buy American!

It is a couple of months that we purchased a LG TV and sadly, its leg has broken. I am very surprised and never expect to see such things with LG products. I attached a picture of the broken leg.

LG Electronics Ignorance of service after taking money

The Service dealer in Secunderabad is not taking any interest in changing the parts of my TV's Woofer system since last 1 year. When we make call to the people they will slip from the subject with one or the other reason. They were much interested in put us in trap in the name of AMC with that we will be benefited with free service whenever required and once in 6 months they suppose to come and do regular service but no use and till now they did not do any of them. Till today they have not changed the parts or they respond properly.

LG Tv's are garbage and even worse is their customer service. I will never buy another LG product as long as I live and I will encourage others to so so as well. CAVEAT EMPTOR (Buyer Beware!)

I bought LG TV just 9 months before, now it is not working, when we asked the service people they say some IC has gone, but taking time to repair, as they have to obtain approval from the lg office, then only they can repair, so after paying money (for purchase of TV) we have to wait for one week to get repaired, when we asked the service people they say it is the procedure. really a good procedure, now I have decided not to buy any LG Products because of their worst service procedures. my mobile number [protected].

My complain No.N9C10200938 date 2 January 2008. LG provide Jr. Engineer for repairing. Actually T.V. was in working condition before the reparing work T.V. problem is same. I again complain about T. V function then Engineer said T.V. will go th work shop in Okhala. New Delhi.for Auto Off problem. After 15 days workshop people said we have not available the part of T.V. The workshop people send the T.V. back to me without repairing work . Pl. foward my complain for needful action as soon as possible. further detail pl see my complain NoN [protected]

I BOUGHT A LG 29FRGE TV IN FEB 2007. A FEW DAYS AGO THE SCREEN WENT DARK AND THE PICTURE WAS UNVIEWABLE. I CALLED THE LG TV REPAIR PERSON AND HE SAYS THE PICURE TUBE IS DEFECTIVE. HE SAYS THERE IS NO POINT IN REPLACING THE TUBE AS IT COSTS 7, 000 AND THE NEW TV IS ONLY 13000/- WARRANTEE IS ONLY FOR ONE YEAR AND IT IS 15 MONTHS SINCE I BOUGHT IT.
I AM A DEFENCE SERVICE PERSON AND DONT HAVE ANY WAY TO GENERATE MONEY FOR A NEW TV EVERY YEAR.
WHAT DO I DO?

This is not a complaint -- far from it ..Very pleased with our new LG26 TV . It is running satisfactorily from our FS-4200 D/S receiver which switches polarity with 13/18 V.
I was expecting to remove the STB and run the LNB directly from your built-in digital tuner but the latter only supplies 6V for the antenna ! Obviously I am missing the point !
Library books and the web have not helped ...please put me straight ! Thanks, Jerry.

Yes even I agree that LG TV service is not good as I purchased a brand new TV in month of November8th.
And my complais started. I complained them that in that TV the dark green colour patches are displaying. But in vain.
4 -5 times technician came and said that" TV is Flat screen thats the reason Patches are coming","There is metalic coupboard near your TV that is the reason patches are coming"
Now I m fed up and dont know what to do?...

I purchased an LG tv from Bangalore, BRigade Road, Radio Shack. No delivery on time, no service, no warranty card given plus the damn people there are like either goons from the third grade areas or just plain idiotic! Was surprised to see a company like LG associating themselves with folks like these...?

LG Electronics Various machine problems

I purchased my washing machine in 21/04/06 which is still running in warranty period. But now i am repenting over the purchase of this machine as it has been trouble shooting. From the day one LG Technicians has been attending to various problems in the machines and lastly one of the technicians came to change the outlet pipe which was licking. Adding to my problems and made the matter bad to worse by dismantling my whole machine, which inturn had a short circuit resulting in the burst of drain motor.

But, the very next day he got back to replace the drain motor with a new one,as it is the warranty period i did not pay him any service charges or the motor cost and only paid him the cost of the outlet pipe which is mentioned in warranty card. Well, now i discovered that my machine is not working at all,even the basic programme of washing is not done. i called up the L.G Customer care service and i was assured that one of the senior technicians will be attending the same. But who shall be responsible for my loss? Within one year of my purchase, so much of problems with the machines.

LG Electronics Poor quality products and customer service

December 2005 I purchased a front loading LG washer/dryer combo from a local Best Buy. The washer has given fair performance, but the dryer is pure junk. I have the second dryer now after three service calls, with time off from work for these calls, and wrangling with the inept, don't care about the customer, customer service rep;s who work for LG. The first dryer had defective rollers right out of the box. No amount of new rollers in the previous, or the present dryer will remedy this problem. LG will give you the same old song and dance every time you call, " it's a warranty issue". Believe me this is my first and LAST LG purchase. Poorest quality products exceeded only by poorer customer service. Stir clear of LG.

The washer there is no way to pause the machine while someone has a shower. The pause button only works for a short short period of time. There is now way to determine what cycle the machine is in, so when you need to switch it off, then you need to restart the load. The bleach compartment is questionable.

The dryer it produces wrinkled clothing. There is no automatic cool down on the machine. This means that the user must manually adjust the temp or remove clothes when they are damp to hang to dry. I would expect more from such an expensive machine.

Purchased a LG dishwasher less than 1 year ago. Machine stopped working. Three weeks later, continuous phone calls/messages to LG and 4 SERVICE CALLS dishwasher still inoperable! However, since techs came to "fix" machine, it is now worse! VERY DANGEROUS since the first tech broke the brackets that hold the machine to the cabinet so now machine FALLS OUT when door is opened! If I try to use it, the initial problem of leaving soap residue- not water spots (I wish) and also now LOUD, I mean EXTREMELY LOUD, awful noise when it "operates".

Now, it is still under LG warranty but they refuse to replace it with a new one until they determine they can't fix it!?
Motor replaced twice, new wiring harness, new control panel... WHAT IS LEFT?

Spoke to supervisor after supervisor til I reached head supervisor, Daniel Harwell. After three consecutive days of calling, he still has not returned any calls. Today I was again told he was "out of the office but you can email.." and was given a GENERIC MAILBOX!?!
I have completely wasted my time and energy with this problem for over 3 WEEKS! Not to mention, 5 teenagers and a lot of dirty dishes that has had to be hand washed!

The worst customer service on any product I have ever owned! I agree with LGTERRIBLE- STAY AWAY FROM LG CRAP!
To make matters worse, they don't give a crap about their customers.

Stay away from LG products at all cost. I purchased a LG electric dryer DLE5955G and it has never worked. IT does not dry at all. I contacted LG and they sent D & D appliances out to fix it. D & D replaced the "heat pak, " the dryer then worked for about three minutes. By time it stopped working D & D was long gone and had no concern whatsoever. I contacted both LG and Best Buy (original purchase, ) neither was helpful. I spoke at length to Keith Jones at LG, what a turkey! I am shocked that people buy from this company. I hope we get the word out and get them to either sell better products, fix their broken products or go out of business.

STAY AWAY FROM LG CRAP!

I DO NOT RECOMMEND LG WASHER OR DRYERS
Just bought an LG washer and dryer June, 2009. The dryer doesn't dry well at all, even with one pair of jeans and time added. The washer broke down after 4 days (used correctly). I am haggling with returning the product to store. I am not sure if any new washer and dryer will be of good quality.

I purchased an LG washer and dryer in Dec 2003 with a service agreement. The dryer was installed by best buy incorrectly and we had to wait weeks to get the correct part for the gas hook up. In the fall of 2005 my washer broke. The repairman was from a company best buy subcontracted to because they didn't have anyone in their employment at the time. He didn't show up the first day, came the next day, didn't know how to fix it, was going to have to research it and get back to me. He did not. Many phone calls later to best buy finally put me in contact with the company they had subcontracted with. Ultimately it was fixed over 6 weeks after it broke. (By the way, it broke because it was delivered to us brand new with a piece missing.

In Nov. 2007 by dryer broke. Again, the same subcontracting company came out, fixed one problem and ordered a part for another problem. . The part never came. I was told to call back in a few days several times, its on back order, etc... By January I called Best Buy because there the intermittent heating problem was worsening as were the dials to set the type of drying and time etc. . They now had their own technician assigned to my area so they weren't using the subcontracted company) who came and said he could not find a problem with intermittent heating, (hence the word intermittent) but was ordering two boards now as there was intermittent problems with starting and stopping the machine and getting the correct settings to stay after programmed.

To make a very long story short, the first subcontracting company had a credit hold on them by LG because they did not pay their bills per Best Buy. For over two months the company did not tell me this. Now Best Buy Service itself, to this date - 8 days later has no record of the parts being ordered from last Tuesday , does not know why they weren't ordered, is unable to contact the service man who was at my house last week and is unable to put me in touch with supervisors I have spoken with unless I have their extension because "this is a big place and there are lots of supervisors here". I cannot speak to the supervisors bosses, they will contact me with-in 48 hours, (Yeah right) and lastly they can send the service man back to my house tomorrow. He will call me between 7-9 am to tell me what time he is coming, but they can't actually ask him if he ordered the part.

Is this insane.

Lesson - don't buy LG products, don't' buy from Best Buy and don't bother with service contract from Best Buy - they're a rip.

I bought a LG frontal washing and drying machine with steam option on September 2006 and the selling point of the machine was that it's quiet, but rater then being quiet it's making loud noise and the water is leeking from the front door. Call 3 times for a service repair from a repair company affiliate with LG, keep saying the same thing, it's because of the house for the loud noises and because I didn't clean the door each time I use it... even one little hair can cause the liking problem. Come on...REALLY POOR costumer services and poor quality machine. When we bought the machine they say after 3 time of service repair they will change a brand new, not true ,they try to say that the problem is not the machine but it's because of you.

LG Electronics Poor customer care department, poor repairing services

I have a LG 29 inches TV , which had some problems so after 3 complaints the authorized service centre (Bionic --Tel : [protected]/111 )at Greater Noida , UP sent the Engineer for repairing the TV . He had no parts to be rreplaced,as during the complaint launched I had already inform LG call centre about the fault . Then i took next 2 days for him to get the parts -- me & my husband both are working , I had to take leave for 4 days& keep on waiting for the person to come & repair my TV . After repairing the TV he said that if the TV again gets conged off with in a months time we will repair it free of cost . It was 2nd of Dec 2006. within 15 days the TV stopped working I again launched a complaint at the LG centralized call centre , & requested them that the engineer should come at my place on Saturday as I am working & cannot take a leave now . They agreed for that ,but nobody turned up on the given day & date . After continuously calling at the call centre & Bionic LG authorized service the engineer turned up on the fifth day during the day time when we where not at home . Our maid asked him to come in the evening , but now its 1 week , no response . Daily I all the call centre & the service centre , they assure us that the engineer will reach today evening , I rush home & nobody visits us . This is position of authorized service cenres of LG electronics in our country , The call centres have no data listed with them, every time u call at the call centre , u get a new executive on line & u have to explain the whole history & geography of the case , they take your contact numbers & assure that they will get get back to you with the solutions -- after that - no reply, no response. Do not buy LG products!

LG Electronics Poor customer service!

I purchased a DVD player in February 2006 from LG electronics in Chennai. I started having problems in the month of September and lodged a complaint on the 28th of September 2006 with LG call center. I was told that my complaint would be acted upon within 24 hours. After the expiry of 24 hours I again called the call center and was told again that it would be acted upon immediately. The next day I got a call from a Technician asking me the nature of the problem. When I explained it to him, he said that it was a problem with the lens and that they did not have stock at the moment but would receive stock in 4 days time and that he would come and rectify the fault. That was on the 30th of September. Till date I have made 15 calls to the call center and 10 calls to the Authorized Service center and still get the same reply - Parts not available. I even wrote 2 mails to LG but have not received any reply. What should I do? What should a customer do to get service which is rightly due to him? My DVD is still under warranty. I asked the call center person to give the number of anyone else I could speak to but could not go any further. These big Multi-Nationals hide behind their call center personal and come out only to receive awards and such but dont have the decency or the guts to face/answer a genuine grievance. The service center I spoke to was HIFI Solutions in Chennai.

Somebody Help me.

We purchased this product and had to send it back for service as it would not read dvd's -- now a year or so later it is doing the same thing and is out of warranty -- worst $300.00 ever spent -- very disappointed in LG and will now look to other manufacturers for replacing our electronics-- thought LG was a good product but found out different

I just bought a DVD writer from LG and it was working beautifully, in college one of my friends had a LG writer and it stood him in good steed for 4 years, so on that premise i bought the writer, but 2 months into using it it started giving me trouble, i cannot get the damn thing to write a DVD now, it just does not work, i am so frustrated and i don't think i will ever use LG again, infact i just bought a godrej AC, works a lot better than an LG one ever would!

Dear LG Care,

I bought LG front loading Washing Machine on last month 31/03/09 on the day I got replacement for that product because which has manufacturing on 2007 3rd month and also that product with lot of damages and buttons are not working fine, white color paint had damaged on left a side. I have raised the complaint to customer care they told please contact Chennai manager Mr.Vijay.Ph:[protected].Last 15 days I am keep on trying this phone but phone was always ringing no body pick that phone. Still I didn't get any call or message from LG services. I never see this king of services and Product in my life. Very worst services LG provide into Chennai. The entire customer suffered on that. Nobody take responsibility to clear this problem. They are focusing only on selling the product which had manufactured on 2 years before.LG India please stop these kind of service and Product distributing to your customer and please give very good solution for my complaint. Please take immediate action against your service center

LG products are terrible and their customer service is worse. My son's cell phone has broken 3 times in the last 11 months; every time we have to send it in, he loses all his contacts, etc. The last time, they refused to fix it! It's still within the warranty timeframe.

We purchased an LG Plasma TV and after a year the screen cracked on the inside. They do offer a 2 yr in home warranty on the item, but only if you have the original reciept. Who keeps the receipt for over a year when it was paid for with cash? I registered the product after purchase, on the LG website, and that doesn't matter at all. They told me point blank without a receipt it's your baby, sorry. This has to be the worst customer service and warranty requirements I have ever seen. What's the point in registering your Products if it doesn't matter anyways? Stay clear of LG Products unless you want a headache and broken equipment!

I agree with many posters above!..LG dvd players are junk!, I got mine in Dec 2006 and now I'm having major playing problems with it just like another poster said, it won't load certain dvds at certain times!..saying no disc in player!, or 'can't read disc!'..STAY AWAY FROM LG PRODUCTS!.

LG Products SUCK! I bought a HDD DVD recorder and it packed in after a couple of months. It was fixed but packed in again a few weeks later. It was fixed four more times and packed in within a day or two. It was clearly a LEMON but they wouldn't replace it. The repair shop told me that LG's policy is that they just keep repairing things until they run out of warranty and then basically tell you to get lost.
I'll never buy an LG product again and nor will many of my friends after they saw what I went through.
Expensive rubbish is dead right!

LG Electronics Incomplete consignment recd.

J.P. Electronics Dahisar East Mumbai has delivered us incomplete consignment of the grill type microwave oven;19 litre capacity( model 369)even after making him full payment; in the last week of Oct.2006.There was no glass plate on the turn tableafter opening the sealed package. The fact is immediately reported in writting to the dealer as well as to LG electronics India. There is no response so far after 10 days of purchase & the unit is lying idle without the glass turn table. None of the agencies have attended to this officially lodged complaint. We are forced to run to the consumer redressal forum. We are suffering for NO fault of ours.

company is not supported with the spares for their models
i got a micro wave model No MG-605AP and the problem is of membrain, company is not supporting as well responding for the same, lodge the complaint 15 days back.
Company man simply say model is old.

Hi,

I purchased one LG TV on Oct, 15, 2006 I registered complaint : 4250 1565 on April,23, 2007

Problem is:

1. No one is attending this TV inspite of about 10 calls.
2. If I ring Toll free no : [protected] they give me some more numbers such as 5202988, [protected], [protected]. I rang to these numbers several times, but it was no use.

IS THIS THE AFTER SALES SERVICE PROVIDED TO CUSTOMERS?

LG Electronics Non-existent service backup

In August 2005 i renewed my cellphone contract and upgraded my phone with an new advertised model - LG M4410. Within two or so month of having the phone the battery started giving problems.

Ok, this one can expect could happen. So i try to replace the battery. To my amazement i cannot find a replacement battery for this model of phone anywhere. I even went directly to LG South Africa Head offices in Capetown and Jo'burg. They don't have it.

Can you get it, I ask? To date no feedback from any of LG's Service branches, nothing!

I've written letters, faxes and even posted notices on their website without any luck.

It is totally ridiculous! I mean, i'm willing to pay to replace the battery. There is no backup service

Please help!

Please include singtel and starhub tv go apps in your tv apps. Android tv have but LG don't have. Very useful apps, many customers are aspecting this apps as it is very important.

Fridge and freezer out on 27 of February. Under warranty and lg cannot find a repairman. Stalled, lied, empty promises. Horrible company. Have called seven times. I. Get read the same script each time. How can you sell a product that can be serviced or repaired?

There is only 1 thing i can say there service department stinks will never purchase a LG product AGAIN in my life. My microwave has been in and out for the same probleem they we're unable to repair it now they want to tell me it is out of guarantee. But they never repaired it as it came back with the same problem over and over

Purchased washtower in November 2022 and still do not have the item after repeated promises to do so! LG has continually lied and given a false narrative throughout!

Here we are w no resolution while they hold tightly to the payment they received immediately! They should be penalized so they don’t continue to treat customers this way!

My fridge failed last June. LG failed to find a repairman. LG promised to refund money. I've called dozens of times and spent hours on the phone. I still haven't received the check. It's been 6 months.

LG ignores emails, fails to call back when they say they will.

LG is an untrustworthy company.

LG Electronics Anyone who bought an lg refrigerator has run into this problem

Last September, I thought I was buying the most expensive appliance in my lifetime and that I would love it. Sorry to say, that was not a reality. The freezer which is supposed to be frost-free has not been working as a frost-free. I had made calls to the dealer TOM'S APPLIANCE, Grand Ave., Chatham, Ontario and in March one of their employees came and took a look at the problem. He said he will tell the owner of the shop and the repairman, and then he left. One month later still heard nothing from them so I called the store and left a message with the owner's wife. She said she would speak with Mike who had come and seen the problem. Three or four days later, still had not heard from anyone. I stopped by the store and spoke with the owner's wife, personally, and she told me she had left Mike a note, which she showed me, and it had a note on it that they were going to do something about it the next day. Eventually, Paul, a serviceman, came and supposedly adjusted some hose and said that that might fix it. He chopped away at the ice in and around the bottom and helped me clean all the broken ice. Two months later I call them again to let them know that the problem is not solved. This is now July and I don't know what to do. I am wondering if I should ask them to replace the refrigerator as I obviously got a lemon, but I just can't make lemonade with it.

I am wondering if anyone who bought an LG Refrigerator has run into this problem. I know of someone who had bought another brand and had a similar problem with a brand new item. They did change the thermostat for them and it was fixed.

The dealer told me they had never heard of my problem before, so they don't know how to repair it. I can't even open the ice cube drawer because of the ice forming around it. It's frustrating on a hot day when I can't get an ice cube from my fridge freezer. An item I paid over $1,600.00 for.

We purchased all new LG appliances plus washer and dryer just over a year ago and I wish I would have known all of this before hand. We got the black stainless steel and it looks like crap. They all have scratches on them that are deep and they dent at the drop of a hat. Now it's just my husband and I and it's not like we have kids or a big family so this is bad. My problem seems small after reading what others have experienced. I've sent photos but I'm sure nothing will be done.

I bought a refregarator 3 years ago. The warranty was 2 years but compressor warranty 10 years?!
10 days ago It stopped andservice could send a technical staff in two days .He said "compressor is failed, if you want to make it repaired, you'll have to pay Money. Where is waranty?But I accepted and they sent another staff to pick up the refregarator.
There is no news about my refregarator during 10 days.
No contact number, no contact personnal.
You can write your problem to whatsapp number only and will take standard answer: Your equippment will be repaired.
LG has to control the authorazid services.If customer is happy, Lg will happy.Otherwise ever lost customer means loosing one brick from the Wall.

LG= Lousy Garbage ! Bought my LG refrigerator 2years and 1 month age, During the first year the compressor went out, took 5 days to replace it. LG was going to send me money for the food loss. NOT! Last month the latch on my door in a door Broke! Called service, told them I know it's out of warranty but I would like to pay to have it repaired, LG service center called back in two days, There is no replacement part for the latch! would need a new door*!@%@#*! . I said OK let's do this. Service guy called back two days later, YOU CANT GET A DOOR FOR MY MODEL! WTF ? So now I have a $2899.99 (Costco price) piece of [censored] setting in my kitchen! Model #

Sent the following info to both Sears and LG. Not even a response! I can remember a time when Sears actually stood behind their products.

Product: Kenmore Elite (LG) Model #[protected], Serial #501KR00012
Delivered 4/14/2015.
Our refrigerator was working fine until 12/19/2017 then the interior temperature started to rise. The Service Technician determined the system was low in freon. Installed access ports, evacuated and recharged with new freon with a dye to determine where the leak was ($345.00). Unit worked ok again until 7/22/2019, I called for service again. Technician again determined the unit was low on refrigerant. Tech was unable to determine where the leak was with his UV light, said the leak could be within the panels and not repairable ($105.00). Suggested replacing all low side components, compressor, two evaporators and a new control board. Another $765.00 and would not guarantee it would fix the problem. I am not going to sink another $765.00 into this four year old $3, 000.00 refrigerator. It's too bad, I like the design of your product. What are my options? Will you stand behind your product? Since it is obvious that this unit was faulty from new, I am requesting credit towards a new refrigerator. I have been without a functioning refrigerator since 7/22/19.

Time for LG Consumers and their complaints to unite and share experiences especially the Lithium Compressor problems and collectively pursue reaching the media to announce public warning similar to California, Utah and Illinois and ultimately pursue additional respective Class Action lawsuits!
Send complaint issue to mikek8244@gmail.com include model number, date of defect, issue, and current status! If You haven't contact your local TV stations requesting a public announcement of current LG issues and status too. Strength through Numbers! Enough is Enough...

The problem started since two month ago my refrigerator New LG inveter linear compressor stopped working so i called the customer service in Egypt, they said that they'll call me and send me some one to check for maintenance I mean, so that person came and said that he'll try to solve the problem and call us again but since then I've been calling but nothing happened they sent the same person again he said that the refrigerator must be changed as the spare parts of this refrigerator isn't available so we will change for you the refrigerator as it's still in the warranty period and since then no one called or came, at first when I bought this LG Brand is a well known one I thought that I'm buying a good one according to reputation for years so I thought of sending LG corporation in South Korea as this is my last hope before going back to them here in Egypt n returning it back and take my money or sharing on social media this incident as I've been for 2 month or more without placing food in a refrigerator n this isn't acceptable at all so plz if you can contact or help me by calling them and reply me back through my e_mail [protected] (rony_moe@hotmail.com)

We purchased lg suite 9/6/18 we do have a crack in panel on bottom of fridge. Since it's a cosmetic/ appearance problem our expensive warranty won't cover it, we are very upset and want this complaint to be forwarded to corporate or I will go to attorney general for our warranty. And I will go to BBB as well .

From 2 days the installer is changing the date of installation as per his convenience.
He is filling that I have asked to install it after 2 days .
I cant understand what ull do with ac packed in cartoon for 2 days .
