LG Electronics delay in repair

I bought 49ub700t model hud smart tv from dubai on 03rd june 2015 with international waranty. While using in my home townn tv stopped working. We called the customer care and a technician attended this issue and was informed that a system board to be replaced and needs to wait for a 10 days. But now is already 40 days passed and still not repaired. They now also saying we need to arrange to bring this part from dubai. I am quite disappointed with this and I request an immediate soultion. LG Electronics faulty tv 55ub850t piece and no response from customer care

Hi,

I have bought a 4K ultra HD TV 55UB850T, 2 months ago from Chroma, a reputed seller in Bangalore.

Suddenly few days back, I saw few lines in upper portion a small area on right upper portion became white.

I raised multiple complaints on the issues and one customer executive came and said due to cleaning the screen got damaged. I shown the document given by the LG itself how to clean the screen and I mentioned I followed it. Then he kept quite for some time and later he examined TV again and told the right side the panel got broken. So he told it wont come under warranty and I have to pay 42000/- to get it replaced.

I couldn't see any scratch on the top level panel and I asked them to provide the written report. They are not even bother to provide written report.

Apart from that LG website has so many flaws.

1) I can not register the product
2) They simply close the ticket and no way to open the ticket again
3) the email sent them by them is just an outbound email id and we can not reach them through email.
4) Customer care phone number picks the call with lesser wait time, but they are just saying that they forwarded the issue to local service center.

Do you know how to get the issue solved and I will get the service from LG?

It seems I do not have other options left apart from taking a legal action.
Should I go to Consumer court ? What is the procedure?

Pls advise.

LG Electronics rip off

I bought the most expensive LG washer dryer there is (US$ 1200) with a sign on it saying its guaranteed for 10 years. My issues with it started few months ago when the drum in my washing machine broke and I was told I need to replace it. After many phone calls and a couple of missed appointments by LG staff, they took it and told me it needed a new drum for US$214. They said the guarantee doesnt cover it. I paid and waited for 2 weeks because they had no spare parts in the entire country and must be ordered from outside. When they finally fixed it and brought it back I was shocked that it had no guarantee except for one month. Had I known that, I wouldn't have fixed it with them! Sure enough few months later and the machine broke down again. This time the glass door broke. I called LG and went again through the nightmare of missed appointments, when they finally came they said the door needs replacement for US$ 91 and I must wait again for 2 weeks. I kept asking why did it break but the guy was annoyed with my questions only saying "it happens, maybe because of the hot water" I told him that doesn't make sense because the machine heats the water on its own, but no, he insisted that "it happens". And when I flipped and complained to the company's head, they came to put a temporary door until my new door arrives. The guy said now you can use your machine until we fix the new one. Only two hours after the guy left my place, the glass door broke again and now it shredded my new expensive custom jeans. When I called they came again they said oh its because the drum was hitting the glass door it broke it.

1- the drum was new and fixed by LG few months ago so its their fault for not fixing it properly.

2- the guy said " it happens" the first time the glass door borke and didn't bother to check causing it to happen again and shred my clothes.

Now instead of being compensated for that, I received another call telling me the cost is now going to be US$ 265 for a new drum.

Meaning in total I would have paid US$ 570++ in just few months (almost 50% of the original price) and again with no guarantees.

Im shocked at the level of service and the quality of it. Instead of fixing it for free AND compensating me for the damages, I am asked to pay again.

I contacted the company head, as well as the staff but no response. I then texted them and they read it and never responded either. Its terrible the worst experience with an electronics company of my life. A complete rip off.

LG Electronics repairing services

Dear Sir/Madam, On the 06/07/2015 I took my TV LG 47 inch LED to LG Service(ET 15 Electronics PTY Ltd) in Montague Gardens, 10 Stella Rd, Cape town .My TV is still working, but unfortunately from the Eskom Load Shedding, the TV have no picture, but sound for about 10 minutes, and then the picture comes on. And the TV works perfectly after this. I paid R.200 for quotation and I wait 4 Days for answer from them.Today I went fisically there to have answer for the quotation.I am sending you the attachment with the quot I have from them.Please can you respond to me to Whom I need to take my TV to be fix and according to the quotation I think that this is a Scam. I saw in there premisses they are selling second hand TVs and I presume are the TVs from the civil people who believe that there TVs are not wort the money to be fixed and they leave them there. Unfortunately I'm not one of them and I want assistance from You competitors to resolve this problem for not repairing my TV for the real service and price.My quotation from them is for new panel, that cost R.9200 excluding the labour, because they say is no power to the unit . I'm watching it at the moment . After I start the tv the picture starts in approximately 15 minutes, but we have sound. For me LG is good its just the services they provide are all not for the real price, as we expected. So the people who repairs the appliances must take a note from that. And we had to pay R.200 for there quotation. And I'm sure it is something small, because after it gets warm up it's working perfectly. Please find the attached quot from them.

LG Electronics pathetic service

I purchased 49 inch television in Dubai Jan 2015, suddenly I noticed lines appearing on the screen, when I reported the issue to LG service Centre, it took almost 3 weeks for them to get the spares parts after replacing the screen still the lines are appearing and LG service Centre doesn’t have any answers to the issue, the television is still under warranty and I expect my television to be repair or replace immediately, the services LG UAE is providing to customers is absolutely pathetic and not acceptable, they are completely reactive and don’t have any values to customer requirement. I would request higher management to intervene and resolve my issue.

LG Electronics compressor cannot be replaced within warranty period.

We purchased an LG refrigerator (side by side doors) in July 2012 with the company claiming 10 year warranty on the compressor. 3 years hence, the fridge suddenly stopped cooling. A visit by LG Service Engineer diagnosed the problem to be with the compressor.

Ideally the compressor should get replaced, but the service station advised that compressor procurement will take lot of time so we are better off buying another fridge for 45% of cost paid for the existing one. We flatly refused since we do not wish to replace our big fridge with a small one. The initial duration promised for compressor replacement was 20 days which yesterday got extended to 47 days. Strangely, the compressor expected date is 17th July; 1 day after our fridge completes 3 years and it's exchange value reduces from 45% to 25% as per LG policy.

Calls to LG Service lead in Gurgaon to accelerate the replacement are going unanswered and the terrible heat is compounding our woes without a fridge. Will appreciate any ideas and help to resolve this situation and end our predicament.

LG Electronics installation service

I have always thought Lowe's was a good company to deal with until recently. We bought a four piece kitchen set. The fridge and stove was to be delivered on 6/2. At 8:30pm after I had called and asked where my appliances where they informed me that It would not be there till 6/3 No problem. The fridge has a water line and I forgot to turn the water off. The turn off for the water in in the house in a cupboard. This is where the situation turned ugly. The delivery person informed us that turning a hand down(which would shut the water off) was not his job. He the proceeded to argue with my 70yr old mother about what is not his job and he wouldn't leave the house. Before all of this I decided to install the fridge myself as I looked at the how to video, so we had no problem with this, but he wanted us to sign that he had installed the fridge and he didn't. He proceeded to tell us that police had been called before for him so he didn't care if we called the police he wouldn't leave. The only good thing with this is that his partner realized that this was wrong and he quickly called his manager to help us have another person come in and finish the install. The whole issue is the arrogance that was displayed and the inconvenience of this whole situation. My husband had bought the set for me as a gift and I was extremely happy, now I am left with anxiety and disgust of having to deal with this company. You think I would have learned from my first large purchase and delivery of a riding lawnmower when they delivered the wrong on and I walked into the store only to find my information on the one I purchased and registered still on the floor for sale. Silly me for believing the customers satisfaction comes first.

I buy in Lake Alfred. In the fist month my house had 4" of water for a 10 min rain. 3 Month later with 10 min rain I have 6" water in my garage. Almost go into my living room. The house Level is too low, They never prevent the issues with the water until is happen, Is not flooding area but the water is 6" in my garage and is the second time.Hopefully the rain stop. If hurricane or storm coming, I need to wait until the water go inside because the never prevent this issue, because bad planning, because they never think in raise the house? I cannot teach common sense. They need to accept his mistakes.

And When I call Pablo Sevetman He just say, I'm off today I cannot do nothing. Did you think this is the correct answer for a Manager? He is had bad attitude when you have a serious issues like this one. He don't know ho to deal with some situation. I think is his first time as a manager.

John Pickarski Manager of construction, He don't have any sense of urgency. Hard to contact when you need it. Bad Planning in the construction. They cannot explain why they don't make more to prevent future issues and disaster in the house.

Now My Family peace is over do this flooding Problems. Every time is rain, my family are nervous do the issue. Do the Slow action of the managers. Unacceptable this behavior. LGI Home is the total responsible for the damage in my home now and in the future do the horrible actions, planning, hidden defect and behavior of the managers. I will let know my complain to the different agency. To advice future costumers.

I bought LED LG TV 42 inches from 3 years and half, from one month ago a line appear in the middle of the screen I called the maintenance, someone came and told me I need to change a part very expensive and he didn't know the reason, the director of the factory called me and told me that he will make it less cheaper and after that they told me they will give me another one which may be default l told him l need to know why this happened for something should last years and years and no answer from them till now

LG Electronics pathetic service

Very bad after sales service. Knowing the refrigerator is one of the most important appliance of any household the after sales service is pathetic and time wasting along with articles of use.
Buy lg if you are going for a secondary refrigerator or if you have excess money to throw.
No cooling in the appliance with complaint no. Rna [protected] dated16. 02. 2015 and 10 days down without any improvement in the refrigerator. To add on no change in the ref no. Rna [protected] / rna150221050194 / rna150224029904
Repeated reminders given for urgent repair but in vain.
Down the drain the amount of new
Refrigerator rs. 50000 plus. . Model gl m 522. Is this not a model of their company?
New piece purchased just 6 months back. . . Enough of technical support need replacement.
Asked for replacement but no reply.
Any unhappy customer will tell 10 friends about their experience and i i will tell everyone please don’t buy lg products. Please pass this to other people too.

LG Electronics tech determination of damage

Purchased an LG Volt phone in July. In December it randomly started turning itself on and off. Mailed it in to LG in February (bad timing before that so had to wait to send). LG tech determined that the phone was liquid damaged. I have no way to dispute that even though I know it wasn't damaged. Their tech determination is final. They sent the attached photo purporting to show the damage, but the resolution of the photo is so low that you can't actually see any of the alleged damage. Customer service at LG is useless. They simply repeat over and over "I understand but..."

LG Electronics replacement electrodes - mini tens/ems unit

I ordered mini tens unit replacement electrodes from their website. I was assured by an e-mail from "Brett" that they were the correct ones for my tens unit. He further stated he would refund my purchase price if they were not the correct ones.
Instead, when they arrived, they were completely different, white, generic pads that required forcing to fit my unit. (See attached photo)
When I asked for a refund, I was refused. Instead they sent ANOTHER tens unit, the same as the one I had as if that would remedy the problem. I now have TWO units with electrode pads that DO NOT FIT PROPERLY so I can't use them and I lost $36.
This is classic "Bait and Switch". Nothing on their web site states that the item might differ from the one displayed.
They have a well deserved F rating from BBB IMO. I wish I had checked for complaints BEFORE ordering from them.

LG Electronics defective product and terrible customer service

Ordered Bluetooth LG 900 headset from Esurebuy.com on 14 Dec and received defective product (right ear bud did not work) on 22 Dec. Requested RMA number on 23 Dec, to return, and only after two emails did I receive RMA # ex24927 on 29 Dec. I shipped defective product via USPS on approx 30 Dec and USPS showed it arriving on 2 Jan. On 11 Jan, queried if esurebuy had received my RMA shipment and only after two more emails did i finally receive the following response "replacement shipped via usps. your tracking number is XXXXXXXXXXXX6255." That was it! Well my replacement product was not shipped as stated, as my tracking number remained a shipping label "only" until 30 Jan when apparently something was finally shipped. No notification of back order or anything. Received what I thought was a replacement product on 2 Feb and discovered what was apparently the exact same defective headset (right ear bud still not working) I had ordered and received in the first place! The battery had a near full charge just as I had returned it. It surely was not new as advertised.

LG Electronics no heat while running

From day one of purchase I had troubles with the "heat" in the dryer. When calling LG for diagnosis, I was told to unplug dryer to "reset" it... Which did work but was unfortunately only a band aid for the problem. It has been 2 years and my warranty is now expired and I am left with a dryer that now still does not run with heat. LG does not stand behind their products or their costumers, So I will not be buying another product from them again and suggest that you also take this into consideration. Shame on you LG

LG Electronics worthless junk

Thankfully I didn't pay for them! I won a kitchen of LG appliances - refrigerator, electric range, microwave and dishwasher about 3 years ago. We have had one problem after another. The icemaker would freeze up, the dispenser would clog, the water dispenser just quit after having it worked on a few times we just stopped using any of this. The oven is supposed to self clean but it does a very shoddy job. The stovetop is very difficult to control the heat on. The dishwasher just stopped working today - only 3 yrs old. I would never buy an LG appliance and tell everyone I know to stay away from them.

You are so right! LG appliances are junk. Just look at the number of complaints on this site and elsewhere. Once a choice for energy efficiency, nowadays most other brands are just as energy efficient, so just skip over LG. . Most importantly, never buy an appliance on a day when your natal Mercury is afflicted (just an observation of mine). Look it up before you sign your name. Just sayin.'

LG Electronics snapdeal most unprofessional and dishonest

I purchased an LG LED TV from snapdeal in month of Oct'2014. Unfortunately I didnt open the package for a long time. My biggest mistake. But to my shock when I opened up the package I found the LED screen totally smashed and on requesting the snapdeal team so many times they have acted very unprofessionally and always give same answer that they cant do anything now since it has crossed the return intimation period of 7 days. But is this what we should expect from a big ecommerce company like snapdeal, that they gonna sit silently when their customers are getting cheated left right center. A big wake up call for them.

LG Electronics air conditioning

We have had multiple repairs done to our LG Air Conditioner B55AWYU361 replacing genuine LG inverter circuit boards, The unit itself sat unused for several years simply because the same fault reoccurred. We reinstalled and repaired unit again ten months ago, but when it failed again last month, we though we may as well try and ascertain the design fault. We have written to LG several times to obtain an answer, but they won't reply. Latter when we telephoned LG, they quoted an alternative number which had a recording conveying "number disconnected". We simply don't know why LG won't be honest enough to answer.

LG Electronics parts replacement

Purchased fridge in 2005 model no. Lg 366dlq suddenly stoped working on 10. 1. 15 and a complain lodged to service center no :rna - [protected] and was attended by technician on same day.
I was told that company is not is position to supply the defective part as it has been discontinued.
I am surprise that how a such reputed company can discontinue the parts within such short time where as product must have a minimum life of 15 years if maintained nicely.
The remarks for condition of fridge by attended technician was that he has seen such well maintained fridge for 9 years old.

We bought a brand new refrigerator from l, g. back in july of this year and we have had nothing but trouble we have had 3 technicians from a&e come out but still we are having trouble with it freezing up and now the ice maker has quit i have asked l.g. for another refrigerator and they refuse to do so. the repairs are not working and its under warranty. why cant we be awarded another one.

I recently purchased an LG eXpo and I am very computer savvy. This is the most terrible product I have ever owned. Battery life is not what they claim, no one in the At&T stores is helpful, zero accessories available for it, never syncs on my brand new computer. I am returning it in favor of a new iPhone. Windows is terrible, windows mobile is far worse. Stay away, stay far away from the LG eXpo.

I have an LG dishwasher that has been clogging with water from the time it was bought. Had it repaired numerous times, and the water still does not drain during a wash.

It is the latest in their silver range.

My sister has the same problem with her dishwasher.

I BOUGHT A LG LCD TV FOR $1, 700.00. IN 2 1/2 YEARS, THE TV JUST BROKE. LG REFUSE TO OFFER ANY HELP (PARTS OR LABOR). A TV FOR THAT PRICE SHOULD VERY WELL LAST FOR YEARS, BUT NOT LG TVS. STAY WAY FROM LG ELECTRONICS, PLEASE!

LG Electronics parts replacement

Purchased refrigerator in 2005 model no. LG-366 DLQ was running perfect suddenly got stop working . Complain made on 10.1.2015 and very same day attended by technicians and I was told that company has discontinued the part.. How a parts can be discontinued within such short time, Complain no is RNA-[protected]. None of the person attending the call made by me to local service center in Kolkata.

I can't imagine that such a reputed company can harm the customer in such a way.
I am a retired person of 59 yrs old not in position to replace it with new one immediately.
