LG Electronics refrigerator

I purchased an expensive ($3, 200) LG refrigerator and the freezer light has now burned out. I contacted LG to request a replacement part and was told, after three phone calls and one live chat, they don't offer the part any longer. While I haven't had this expensive refrigerator for 10 years, I'm now in the position of having to use a refrigerator which doesn't work as it should. Yes, it keeps food cold but it's very difficult to find food in a dark compartment. Most US-based companies offer replacement parts long after the initial launch of the product. They also use OEM companies to sell replacement parts. Perhaps business and customer support is different in South Korea. This point should be made clear to potential future purchasers of LG Electronics products.

LG Electronics washing machine

Our Washing Machine is not working since 10th of May.
It look like water supply problem.
we have cleaned the out side pipes.
We assume that there is dust inside the machine.
Please make arrengements to rectify the machine as soon as possible
we are in Taminadu, Cuddalore District, Veppur tk, Sirupakkam Village.

LG Electronics hecto projector

Hi firstly I would like to say that I have bought many of your products including a Hecto projection home system which I paid $9000 from Harvey Norman's & when I purchased 5 yrs ago was guaranteed the laser system would last minimum of 25000 hrs equal to ten yrs use & the system is amazing now to the not so good the system failed a few weeks back & I rang customers service which where very understanding & advice of s service centre to have it checked to which they found the digital laser had failed & after another call to customer service was asked I said proof of purchase & the repair quote to have it looked at then I get a return call to say LG are not prepared to help or repair as it's 5 years old ! Remembering the unit is advertised as a life of 25000 hrs & our unit has done half the hours of around 12500 hrs so this is my problem you guys were happy to advertise & sell the unit with 25000 hrs but when it fails before the hrs you don't want to help! So where is the customer service or good will for a good customer? So leads to why I have decided to message you here before I go future with the fact your product did not due as quoted & LG where not prepared to help as you know good advertising is much better than someone giving bad advertising so I hope I get some customer service here to keep a loyal customer happy

LG Electronics washing machine front load 5kg f8066lp

Our client purchased a Front Loading washing machine from Croma, EVA Mall, Brigade Road, Bengaluru in 2009. The machine since then has been giving minor issues which were required promptly by the clients prompt action in informing LG. However recently on calling LG customer care in 2017, one person visited and changed the Drain Pump and charged Rs.8000 which he collected in cash when our client was alone at home and she being not literate in English just took the cash bill (kachcha bill) and when she showed it to her family members later she found that she was cheated. LG did nothing to help the client inspite of being informed in writing by post and email. The person who visited was one Raju who works for Wajid Pasha from Sai Service in Dr. Rajkumar Road, Rajajinagar, Bangalore who on googling turns out to be a fraud deceiving customers across Bangalore and posting all over the internet that he is from the authorised service centre for LG and many other brands. He has several names by which he operates in Bengaluru and also spends on Google ads to trap customers.

Again a month ago the motor stopped showing sparks coming from beneath while spinning and on contacting LG they sent one person named Zameer Pasha and he charged for inspection and promised to get back with the motor part and said it will cost 5000 with 6 months warranty, but he never came back.

On contacting LG customer care again through phone and email they replied saying that the part is not available and cannot be replaced or repaired hence asked client to try any local technician or repair centre.

However while selling they promised 10 years motor warranty. But now they are not replying to clients emails at all and have gone mute.

This is the way LG is fleecing customers by promising the moon while selling and not even honouring warranty nor repairing the machine.

Sparks under the machine is dangerous and cause severe damage to life and property in case of fire.

Croma also is of no help now. They only help you buy, rest nothing happens.

We have lost trust in LG India as well as Croma for selling such faulty products. We have spent almost the machine cost itself on repairs.

We suggest customers beware, Caveat Emptor, and be away from LG Washing Machines or products iN India. Also please don't go by whatever they say while selling and waste your money. Croma also won't help. They couldn't even locate the invoice of the product in their own database though our client bought the washing machine from Croma.

LG has also removed the washing machine manual from its website showing an error page.

Model: LG Washing Machine Front Load F8076LP 5kG - never buy it's a cheating company.

LG Electronics maintenance / repairs

I bought 3 LG Aircondition units 3 HP on September 2012.in October 2017 one of the units has a compressor break out and needed to be replaced. I called the LG call center in Egypt on February 2018, they sent a technician for survey, he recommended to replace the broken compressor at an estimated cost of L.E. 2000 and requested to replace the electrical wires by my own means. My electrician recommended instead to change the place of the internal fan to be back to back with the compressor to avoid negative impact of changing electrical wires built inside the walls. I called LG call center early April to do the job, also informed them with the recommendation of my electrician. They informed that they can do the whole job: replacing the internal fan + changing the damaged compressor and so another survey took place. I was informed that the cost to replace the fan location is about L.E. 500 while the whole cost including spare parts will cost L.E. 5500. I was shocked and told him that this not acceptable and that I have to review the matter with the call center because the spare parts costs are much expensive than what I was advised earlier. The call center checked the system and informed that the spare parts costs are L.E. 1500, they were also surprised for total cost figures quoted. So I asked them to submit an official complain as it is not realistic to have the labor costs L.E. 4000 while it is at the most won't exceed L.E. 500. They filed a complaint and promised to get back within 24 hours with feedback. I called many times since then and submitted a complain on WhatsApp application, every time I get a message that they are taking care of the matter that is being attended by the responsible department and that they will revert with feedback within 24 hours. Unfortunately, I never received an answer till today for my complain neither being contacted by any body from the company to clarify the matter which is very strange. I took the liberty therefore to contact LG headquarters directly when I felt that the time is only passing, and all my attempts will go in vain. Appreciate your attention and prompt action. LG Electronics lg tv - no sound

We purchased a LG-49" Smart-4k Ultra HD TV on Nov 25 2017 from BestBuy in Columbia SC. I live on the outskirts of Newberry SC. It had a warranty plus we purchased an additional 5 yr warranty from Geek Squad. The sound started going out and in on it a couple times beginning in April and we just thought maybe we had something hooked up wrong. Then April 26th 2018 it went out completely and didn't come back on. We called the Geek Squad about the issue on April 30.They did some troubleshooting and found out that the sound board was bad and had went out. We were told they would have to replace the sound board. Then we were told they did not service our area and we would have to speak to LG directly. He gave us the part # for the sound board and transferred us to LG( a 45 min call so far). We was transfer to call center overseas. We told him the issue and advised him we had the part # the previous rep gave us. He wanted to redo all the steps again and I told him we have already did that and we need to just get the TV fixed. We advised him again we had a part # for the item but he never took it. He said someone would call us and we would receive a email within 24 hrs to setup a time to fix the TV and he will also do a follow up within that timeframe (that call was about 50 min). No one called or emailed us so I called on May 2. Got connected to a oversea center and was told someone would give us a call and no one called (that call about 7 min). I called back on May 3 was connected to an oversea center, gave the rep the reference # that was given to me and asked to speak with a supervisor. Rep said he could help me and I did not need to speak with a supervisor. I told him I just need to talk with a supervisor and I already knew what the issue was. He put me on a mute hold-no music or anything for almost 30 min. When I made the comment that I hope this call is being recorded so they will be able to see how long you have had me on this mute hold hoping I would hang up he put me on a proper hold. He kept checking the line to see if I was still there. After being on hold for over a hour the phone hung up on me. I called back and got connected overseas again. I asked the rep to speak to a supervisor and she said she could help me. I told her I just wanted to talk to a supervisor and gave her my reference #. She said she could not find any information with that number. I asked for a supervisor again. She put me on hold for about 20 min. She came back and said the supervisor refused to take the call because there was no information for the call. I gave here the ref # again and told her there was information. She still said the ref # was not valid. I gave her the email and she said nothing came up. I gave her the phone # and she still said same thing. I gave her the name it was under and she still could not find anything. I asked her again to just get me to a supervisor. She placed me on hold again(call is now over 45 min, just trying to get a supervisor). Finally got a supervisor and the first thing I said was : "This is the worst customer service I have ever had! It should not have taken me over 2 hrs just to get a supervisor." She did apologize and was able to find my information with my ref #. She looked over my case and said it was cancel and they had to reschedule it. I said how can they reschedule something when nothing was scheduled in the first place. I told her no one has called or emailed us. She apologized and she asked for a minute to see what happened. She came back and said it was canceled because they did not service our area. I explained to her when we bought this TV we were told if anything went wrong it would be fixed plus we bought an additional warranty with Geek Squad to make sure everything was covered. Now we have a TV that is not even 6 months old we can not watch so there is a problem. Sherry they supervisor was very understanding and tried her best to help. She told me she would find someone to service our TV or we could take it back and get another one. She made sure she had all my information and said she would email and give us a call back. She even took the part # that as given to us the 1st day we called. Sherry did give us a call back and sent a email with the information on May 4. She found a company called Windor Electronics out of Virginia who would do the repairs. She said they had to order the parts and they would get back with us. I waited till May 8th and no one called or emailed us about getting the part and coming to fix our TV. I tried calling Windor Electronics several times but never got anyone. I sent a email to Sherry about the issue and advised will give her a call if no one calls us by the next day. Sherry had gave me her direct number. I gave her a call on May 4. Once again I let her know this is the worst customer service I have ever had. I told her it should not take this long to get a TV that is not even 6 months old fixed. Then on May 9 after having to call the people from Windor Electronics because they did not call us we were told 2 of the 3 parts were in and the 3rd one would be in in about 6-8 days. He said once they get the part they will call to setup an appointment to fix the TV. I told him as well as LG that was unacceptable and that it was crazy to have to wait almost a month to get an almost brand new TV fixed. I have never had service like this and I was a big fan of LG products. Me and my families have at least 4 LG products in our homes. But I have told them and everyone I know not to waste their money on a LG product because if something ever goes wrong they do not stand behind what they say and they have the worst service in the world. It is May 20 2018 and till this day our TV has not been fixed and no one has called us.

LG Electronics lg g4

: phone always broken .. it is defective :: LG repaired it once already within 3 months and it has continued to have problems :: they've dilly dallied with me for months until now I am past the 12 month warranty .. this phone is a lemon .. we've all wasted too much time on this matter : LG should honour their product quality and service .. I've had many LG phones without issue - ever .. even my 8 yr old LG Google phone - their first 'smart phone' still works fine - same battery - 8 years ! but the G4 was a dud from the start .. a replacement motherboard, a new battery, many service tech calls, a couple of factory resets .. lost time, lost data, increased furstration and yada yada yada .. LG is still having their call center people tell me its my problem not theirs and IF I give them $149.99 (they cant even say $150 .. they actually think they're selling me something! haha) they'll fix it .. so I contact their service center and they say they've never heard of the $149 deal and wouldnt ever fix a G$ - heck the MB is worth $350 and they have to bill out LG's OEM pricing (>$350 for G4 MB) .. this is a classic RECALL issue .. they should have just recalled ALL G4s from the start - would have saved money and loss of market and definte decrease in customer confidence ! ... just saying eh! BTW - just google LG G4 problems or crash or bootloop or dead or whatever - see what comes up in your search! not a good legacy for Life's Good

LG Electronics washing machine service

Purchased an LG washer in December. Last weekend it broke. I immediately called for service and was set up for an appointment on the following Thursday between 1 and 5. Thursday morning I arrive at work at 630am and my phone is ringing. It is the tech who is scheduled to repair my washer. He says that the 1-5 time frame does not work for him and he needs to come that morning. I explain to him that I work an hour away and that I took the afternoon off to accommodate the appointment. He has a really bad attitude and I decide to go ahead and see if I can leave work to help him out. I explained to him that my boss would be in at 730 and I would call him back. AT 730 I got permission to leave work. I called him and let him know that I could go ahead and meet him at my house that morning. He then stated that he would have to call me back. He called back 5 minutes later and stated that it would take me too long to get there and that wouldn't work for him...He would just "fit me in" to the time already scheduled. OK. Whatever. I get home at 1pm. By 530 he hasn't showed up. So I call LG Service and cancel the appointment and request another one. The set it for Saturday with a different tech. At 545 he shows up. My husband goes ahead and lets him see the washer. He looks at it for about 5 minutes and then walks into the Kitchen and confronts my husband. He said the appointment has been cancelled and I am leaving. The he proceeds to start screaming at my husband, stating that '""I told you wife I would be late""". No he didn't, he told me he would go ahead and "fit me in" to my already scheduled time. And what does late mean anyway when you have a freaking 5 hour window! He is continuing to get more and more hostile with my husband and in front of my children and my husband keeps telling him to get out of our house. Finally telling him that if he doesn't leave he will be removed. He leaves, but sits in his truck out front. I get on the phone, again, with LG service and try to complain about what has happened and they tell me they don't have a complaint department. WTF? They keep stating they can make me another appointment, but we had already done that. I finally told them that he was still sitting in his van in front of my house and if they did not take my complaint I would just call the police on the guy. They finally said they would "look into it". Fast forward. Saturday 8 am to 12 pm. No one shows up. I call LG Service and they just transfer me to the repair shop that was supposed to be at my house. I get voice mail. I leave a message. 330pm. No call back and no service person. 430 I call LG service back. They say there is nothing they can do because all of the contracted service centers are closed for the day. I demand that they make me yet another appointment and they refuse. They freaking refuse! Why? """"I'm sorry ma'am you already had an appointment"""" WTF? Seriously! WTF! OMG. I will never in my life own another LG appliance. First with it breaking after being 6 months old and then this freaking disaster with getting service. I called Home Depot, where I got the washer and they tried to get me an appointment but not for over a week away. I am beyond angry and cannot even find a number for Corporate LG.

LG Electronics delivery problems

I bought a washing machine. I was told by the salesman that the delivery would be 2 days later on a Saturday at 1100. He said they would call first. No call. No delivery. At 12noon on Saturday I called the store and told them about the problem. Language was a small challenge but they remembered me and understood. They kept putting me on hold or hanging up on me. I called back five times. On the 5th time I spoke with the Salesman who sold it to me. We were getting nowhere. I waited all morning and had a busy day. I then demanded that the washing machine be delivered now. I sent my son to the store while I was still on the phone. My son found out that the delivery team made a mistake. Apparently, technicians were supposed to come to the apartment first and then the machine was to be delivered. Neither of those things were scheduled. They admitted their mistake and made arrangements for the technician and machine to come another 3 days later! This type of service is not acceptable. My family and I have been without a washing machine for 3 weeks. I recommend you begin a quality assurance program where schedules are checked and rechecked for accuracy. I have experienced too many industries in South Korea that do not practice Quality Systems Management. I also expect to receive a message and a partial refund for this error. I would also like to say that the salesman (Mr. Kong) was very professional, patient and nice with us in the store and on the phone. The staff at the store were very professional. There is obviously a breakdown in communication after the sale takes place. Please tell Mr. Kong that I enjoyed working with him during this mishap. He's a wonderful employee.

LG Electronics lfxs29626s /01

I bought this refrigerator brand new approximately 2 year ago. It has recently broke down and I was advised by a certified LG repairman that the compressor was bad and needed to be replaced. I was advised by the same repairman that it was going to be 3-5 weeks to get the new compressor after LG authorizes the repair, furthermore it is going to be 600-800 dollars for labor which is not covered. A refrigerator, brought brand new at RC Wiley's, should not be going bad in 2 years - not for the cost that I paid for it. In addition, I see that this is a common problem with LG refrigerators. 3-5 weeks is unacceptable for repairs - people don't rent refrigerators for me to use until this one is fixed. All of our food has gone to waste, and I'm having to use a mini fridge to store my infants milk for his bottles. I am not satisfied with a product that costs as much as this one did and fails in 2 years then takes over a month to "potentially" get fixed.

LG Electronics air conditioner

I had purchased LG split a/c inverter V model 1.5 tons in 2013. I had replaced all the parts in this a/c and still I am facing complaints.

I have a serious complaint on the services provided in Chennai, Tamil Nadu, India.
1. I raised a complaint on the 7th of May 2018 and till date it is open. The service centre looked into this complaint after 9 long days. I need to know the reason for this delay.
2. They visited on the 16th of May and said the outdoor coil has a block and it has to be replaced and the part will be available only after a week's time. Normally the parts are available the very next day once the order is placed. I am not sure if this is a deliberate attempt to delay the service.
3. I tried calling the below people in responsible positions but none have bothered to answer or return the call
* LG Direct service lead, Mr. Ilango ([protected])
* LG Area Service Manager, Mr. Srinivasan ([protected])
*Mr. Selvam ([protected])
*LG Branch Manager, Mr. Gopalakrishnan ([protected])
4. I had requested for the contact number of the reporting manager of Mr. Gopala Krishnan (the branch manager), which your customer care denied.

I really doubt if LG company is on the brink of closure and that has been the reason for not providing proper services to its customers who had trusted them. The way these managers talk to their customers is like they don't belong to LG and they work for some other brand. They laugh at us when we report a problem in the product which they have delivered to us or on the delay in providing a service. They are not serious enough in handling the customers and they are not professionals. The customer complaints forum from Central Government of India shows huge complaints on the services provided by LG, not sure if any of the managers from LG read them. We are mistreated in many ways.

LG Electronics lg v10 cell phone

LG V10 phone has a locked screen. It shows the LG logo, but will not boot up. We have been to the Verizon store and spoke to some repair technicians and they all said the phone is "fried". Since my wife did not have backup made, we are looking into sending phone away to have data recovered (photos, etc).

This happened on Saturday evening, an I already purchased a new phone today. What should we do with the existing phone to recover data?

LG Electronics washing machine

Hi there,

I am complaining about your reseller in United Arab Emirates. I bought LG 19/11 Twin wash and LG 3.5 Kg washing Machine (models: F0K1CHK2T2 and F70E1UDNK12) 5 months ago (see Invoice attached). We noticed water leakage in the very first week and your reseller told us its from the wall and had it fixed. However the leakage never stopped and recently became very strong. We reported it again and the reseller sent technician a week ago who claimed it is from the detergent! I had to complain again asking for replacement so they sent another technician today promising they will replace it based on his report. The technician saw the heavy leakage (attached video and photos). The technician confirmed it is not a problem from detergent but rather from Dryer Blower. Now the reseller is asking to take the washing machine to service center to repair it and offered to send me a temporary used washing machine. I have the following notes:
1- This leakage issue was there since the first week (we were eligible for immediate replacement ) but instead they had wrong diagnoses and now they say it should be repaired.
2- I paid for the most advance technology (most expensive machine) and I expect nothing less than top service.
3- How can I use used machine..I do not trust this for my kids health

Kindly solve this issue asap. I expect LG to be keen on customer satisfaction and I request immediate replacement for the faulty device.

LG Electronics hoover

I bought a Hoover 2.5 years ago but I didn't use it after a year and half I used it twice and I was exposed to a problem in it, I went to the main office for lg to fix it they took the Hoover and told me we will get back to u, I followed up with them for A YEAR with no solution to my issue they provided me with another Hoover and told me it is the only absolve Hoover with a discount, the offered Hoover is very small with a very limited capacity to the one I have and then they gave me my original Hoover taking from it a spare part without getting back to me and told me they have sent it to Korea based on their request, they returned it back to me in a bad condition while when I have it firstly to them it was brand new. I think if LG cannot offer me a solution to my problem or a spare part they would do like any reputable company and give me another Hoover like mine and not a very poor one and paying it ! You can refer in the is case to Mr. Mohamed Saad from LG cairo as he was handling my case.

I purchased lg led 3d smart tv in 2012, Now led in good condition but you tube application is not available in LED, LG technician visited at my place but he told me due to 2012 model you tube contract is over for this model,
So tell me who is responsible for this contract customer or LG or YouTube?
Because customers already paid amount for smart function so why customer suffering in that type of reasons?

LG Electronics g5

I bought my phone less than a year ago. It is already defective. My phone turns off by itself with a fresh battery, apps don't work correctly, speakers distort and some calls and texts never appear on my phone. I spoke with customer service and even upper management isn't willing to send me a replacement refurbished phone to keep me happy as a customer. I spoke with a friend who has had the same issue with the G5. I know this is a manufacturer defect. I'm extremely disappointed with your customer service. This is my second LG phone and was happy with your product until this out issue. I'll never buy anything LG again unless your willing to send me a replacement phone. Your replacement phones are refurbished anyways and I don't see why it's such a big issue to try and keep your loyal customer happy and just refurbish my phone to give to another customer.

LG Electronics I am complaining from my lg refrigerator model gn-b392rqcl that I bought since almost one year only

I have faced through one year the same defect in my LG refrigerator that I bough from the LG Egypt Agent and I contacted the customer services more that three times and every time send me a technician that didn't repair the problem and finally I called them in Apr 29th and they send me the a technician and he confirmed that it needs heater and another Spare parts but he promised to contact me on Saturday to fix the problem but no one call me and when I called the customer service yesterday they were very tough and very aggressive and they claimed that they have the right to fix any maintenance problem in 45 days ! I really shouted and said how come you treat your clients in this bad attitude please assist me in solving my problem as no one can live in summer without fridge

I brought a LG LED smart TV from Abans branch of Warakapola.After 5 month I had a electric shock from LG TV.Then I found a electric leakage on TV. LG Electronics mobile phone model: m250dsf

The phone exploded in my hand just two days ago and I did not understand what had happened, but when I opened the back of the phone to take out the SIM CARD to put in another phone to use I noticed that the battery had exploded and that is what caused the screen to explode.

I have been trying to get reply from my emails to the company and no response.

LG Electronics sj9 soundbar

I have done everything the call center has asked me to do as they read off a piece of paper just to make sure i am doing my part. I am sending this soundbar back for the 3rd time as soon as i get the return label from LG. The original problem was the audio was interrupted here and there like it was deleting random parts randomly. The 1st time the service center said no problem and sent it back but the problem remains, the 2nd time i sent it back i included a letter explaining the problem with my phone number and they called me and now they understand what the issue is. The service center sent it back and the audio issue seems to be working just fine but they didn't send back my remote so i thought i would just use the function keys to adjust the settings but now they don't work so i am send this back a 3rd time. The call center is aware of this and they are horrible, they cannot relay the issues properly and they to me are not doing anything to get this done correctly in a reasonable amount of time. The supervisor is just as bad about getting this done, we cannot doing anything unless the service department deem's this repairable. This is how the customers are handeled, wow not impressed. The sad part is all i want is the product to work normal like it should nothing more or less. I am probably sending this into space but here you have it. Terry Henrich
