LG Electronics refrigerator

I purchased a fridge with water and ice. The water line is leaking.
I called the LG customer support. I was told that I have to replace the whole freezer door to repair a $2.00 hose. Really?
I owned a similar fridge by another company for 20 years. When there was a leak, it was a $5.00 fix.
This is unacceptable! I will be staying away from LG products.

Bought my daughter an LG refrigerator in 2015. It stopped cooling this weekend - they lost over $300 worth of food. I should have done my due diligence - i thought LG was a good brand. We had a Sears Cold Spot refrigerator for 27 years. i cannot believe this one only lasted 3 years. Do not buy their product.

LG Electronics lsxs26386d - ice maker works fine, but the ice bin pops away at the bottom

Ice bin keeps popping out at the bottom, after ice maker fills the bin then it usually happens- bought frig on August 2, 2018. I would say within a week or two this started happening. When you are getting ice it suddenly stops dispencing ice, then when you try to open freezer door, you notice you can not open it correctly, you then see the bottom of the bin has popped out. You have to reach in with your fingers and hold the bin in so you can open the door. The bin then can be put back in place, I noticed that you don't feel anything clicking in place when you put the bin back in. Repairman suppose to be here on 09/25/2018. LG called and said if it is broke they might not cover it under warranty, had us take icemaker out while they were on phone, but they could help in fixing it over phone. If it is a defect, not sure why warranty would not cover. Poor customer service

LG Electronics lg air conditioner

Unprofessional installation of split units air conditioners they just put the units on the ground, condensed water was leaking from up to the ground like water pipe ( as the humidity is very high in Qatar, also the water is leaking inside the room, the AC which I bought recently not working well some times cold and sometimes humid without cooling, the worst ever post sale service which is managed by Jumbo electronics in qatar, I called them many times to solve these problems they responded by sending unprofessional people taking some photos without doing anything and still I'm suffering since last July when I bought these two units ... the last time I do this mistake...

LG Electronics lg uae, abu dhabi

Dear Sir Dear Lady,

I hope you have a nice Day,

I have a complain regarding my LG W/DRYER FH4U2TDHP5N (Price AED 2, 899.00) that I have bought on 14/04/2017, Invoice Nr. [protected] by Carrefour Al Ain.
I did extension of the warranty for one year more. Meanwhile the rubber got brocken as you see in the attachment. As I asked the LG servise here in the United Arab Emirates they have replied to me that the repair of the rubber is not in the warranty included.
1. How is it possible that this rubber got brocken after this short time period?
2. Why it's comming that this is not in the warranty included ?
I have also other equipment from LG (2 TVs, Home Cinema) with that I was untill now happy.
Please I need your opinion regarding such unacceptable management.

LG Electronics oled tv

Hi, Myself Rajendra Deshmukh, from Pune City, (situated in Maharashtra State of India).
I had purchased LG OLED 55' TV from Authorized LG Dealer in Kothrud, Pune, on 30/12/2015, vide Invoice No. KHS/15-16/00924, at the cost of Rs. 2, 40, 000/- (including taxes), in the name of my wife. This product was promoted by the company as its premium product and was said to have the latest technology at that time. I was seeking to buy SAMSUNG TV which is well known brand and I had used it earlier, but just to check on LG products I visited the above mentioned LG store, where I met the dealer Mr. Sanjeev Gholap. He showed me the latest product of LG which was a 55' OLED TV and convinced me that the ‘OLED' was the best in its category as well as durable. It will go on for long years without any complaints. He also assured me that the said products working life is more than 10 years and nothing will happen to product as it was of the best quality. He also told me that the product had a two years warranty from the Company. He did all the sweet talk to convince me in believing that LG is a reputed Company with best consumer backup worldwide and is known for its Consumer friendly policies. Mr. Gholap assured that if anything happens to the product the Company would immediately replace with a new piece. Believing on his words I was convinced to buy and thereby extended my budget for the TV, three times and purchased the suggested OLED TV. Along with that I also bought two 32' TVs, two AC's and DIOS refridgerator which were also presented to me as premium products of LG Company. However within two years from the purchase of the OLED TV, the product gave off and went Kaputt... After my online complaint to the authorized service station of LG, a service engineer visited my place where I insisted with him to replace the faulty product as it was much within the warranty period. To my surprise he just changed the faulty panel of the TV and assured me that the product will run smoothly without any hassle. The company failed to Honour its commitment of replacement of faulty product within the stipulated warranty period and replaced the faulty panel with an old panel. So much for the big claim's of the company about its product and its services. Now within a span of one year of the repairs the TV has again stopped working.
It is surprising that within a span of three years such a premium product has failed to perform twice. I have lodged complaint online with their consumer cell but now the Company is demanding amount of Rs. 92, 000/- + GST and taxes for repairs. The present price of their new OLED TV is Rs. 1, 60, 000/-. The Company is claiming repair charges to the tune of Rs. 1, 15, 000/-.
To my strong belief LG gave me a faulty product, didn't replace the product on the first Complaint which was lodged within the warranty period. They replaced faulty parts with old parts which gave off within a short span and thereby they have cheated me. I have lost faith in such a reputed company. I had invested my hard earned money to buy the said products.
I fail to understand how such a premium product can just stop working within just two years from the date of purchase. I am sure that I would have been happier if I would have bought some other brand. I fail to understand that if a reputed brand like LG treats its customers of premium products in this way what is the remedy for the consumer other than to either to keep on complaining or else to go to the consumer court to get the desired relief. I am not ready to spend my hard earned money again on the repairs as I think as a consumer I have all the right to ask the company to do the needful FOC. I hope that cognizance of my complaint would be taken up at the highest possible level and the necessary steps would be taken and I will be accorded the desired relief.

LG Electronics tv

I purchased a 55" LG TV from Best Buy on 3/28/18 for $850 plus tax. Best Buy installed it in my home for an additional $200.

Three months later the TV volume went bad and the screen started flicking all over it. I called Best Buy and they said I needed to call LG as it was on a 1 year Warranty. I called LG on June 24, 2018 and since then they have sent a company out to our home to look at the TV. The company then left and didn't call back. I waited two weeks and finally called the company and they said the TV was not fixable and LG had taken the ticket over.

I contacted LG and for the next two months they have given me the run around - telling me they need certain information from the TV and a reciept of purchase and to upload the documents. I uploaded them and waited, no-one called and nothing happened. I called back and was told they got the documents and it would be 10 days till I hear back on "their decision". 14 days go - no call from LG. I call again and find out my receipt was rejected as it was my online reciept and I needed to go into best buy and request a copy of a printed reciept - even though I never got one as it was an online order.

I went to Best Buy and got a copy of the receipt after getting a manager invovled. I uploaded photos of the reciept and LG said they didn't get them. I called them again and had their person stay on the phone while I uploaded to ensure they go them. I was then told it would be 10 more days till they "make a decision" on my TV.

What decision they are looking to make and why they can't fix my TV is beyond me. I will never ever buy and LG TV. They are garbage and LG does not stand by their warranty. They just try and make everything so difficult that you just give up trying.

The main pc board no.6871JB1109J blowed and now the fridge does not want to work and its still in a very good condition.The agents say this main pc board is discontinued and there is no alternative.I have spent so much time and money on getting it fix or lg south-africa givving me a solution but it seems no luck.LG south-africa gave a number off a teqnition in johannesburg and it just rings when you callit and then go on vopicemail.The client(a old german lady)is very upset and really like her fridge and wants it badly to work and cant afford to replace it.

LG Electronics led tv 47lb5900

Lemon! My tv Started flickering black after 1.5 years. I estimate that is only 5% of the expected lifespan of the screen. I have treated the tv to nothing stressful or out of normal expectations.

I called the customer number for help and they took me through the troubleshooting checklist. (Essentially, turning it off and on, holding the button for 15 seconds to do a power reset.).

I've attached a video in the hopes you can know what can easily happen to you. If it is defective, then they should service it free of charge. That is just fair business practice.

I recommend you avoid this brand and company. We also found the same lifespan issue with the same company's air conditioner.

LG Electronics "poor service quality providing the dealer of lg in bangladesh"

Dear Sir or Madam,
I am from South Korea. I am a postdoctoral researcher in Computer Science and Engineering at Chonbuk National University, Jeonju. Recently, my wife (Customer ID: [protected]) bought a new AC (LG US1865NA4) from Butterfly (Dealer of LG in Bangladesh) showroom at Rangpur city, Bangladesh. They installed the AC at my home on 12.06.18, but they did not check after the installation. From the beginning it was not working properly and it was taking long time to make cool the room (even at 18 degree Celsius). She noticed and complained to the showroom. They came (2 days later) to my house regarding the issue. They mentioned that there was not enough gas from the beginning. For this, they filled the gas, but the problem was still there. Again she complained to them and they send personnel to solve it (3-4 days later). However, they took the AC in their office at Rangpur and told her that there was a leakage on a gas pipe. Now they are telling (around 12 days later) the problem is solved and they want to install again. My claim was to replace of the AC due to the AC was previously faulty. But they denied. My question is why the company or dealer will not replace the AC in this case? How we can trust on the brand LG (in this particular case in Bangladesh). How we can trust the dealer (such kind of Butterfly in Bangladesh) in second time, as they provided us the faulty AC from the displayed one without telling us the fact. If so, it might hamper to brand and marketing LG product (i.e., AC) in Bangladesh. Because, I bought the LG product first time from Bangladesh and the experience is not good.
I hope, you will be concern about the issue and take the action against the dealer due to their dishonesty (if there any) and very poor service. I talked with their customer service from Korea over phone regarding this issue but they were giving me wrong explanation that was disappointed me. I have attached the warranty card provided the dealer. Please find the attached file. If you need any further information regarding the issue let me know.

LG Electronics lg refrigerator model lmxs30776s is a lemon

We have been dealing with a noisy refrigerator for over 9 months. The first time I called LG Customer Service I was told to empty the refrigerator, turn if off for 24 hours. It was still under warranty at that time. Had I realized at the time that this was a know problem instead of a fluke I would have taken out the extended warranty.

It stopped the noise for several months, then it started again. Called LG again. They wanted us to repeat the empty refrigerator, turn it off for 24 hours, again. That is not a permanent solution.

We wanted a technician to come out and look at it (made the mistake of not taking out the extended warranty), was told we were out of luck for warranty repair. Finally after multiple conversations LG agreed to pay for any parts but not labor.

I used their recommended repair service Mr. Rogers Appliance. The first technician came out July 11 and we were told that it was the compressor. From conversations with LG we didn't think that was the problem, but he's suppose to be the expert. He placed an order for the compressor.

When the compressor came in, July 21 the technician came out to fix the "compressor" he found ice build up in the evaporator coil and that the heater for the ice-fan had shorted out and it wasn't the compressor but a different part. The second tech did defrost the defective part and for a month all was good.

August 15 the ice-fan (evaporator cover) arrived and a tech came for the repair. Before verifying they had the correct part he had taken the refrigerator apart and discovered that the part they had was not the correct part. Don't know if it was an LG sent the wrong part or the repair company ordered the wrong part. So again we are waiting for the right part. Since this tech worked on the frig when it does the defrost cycle water drips out on to the floor. We have hardwood floors and are very concerned about damage to the floors.

It is now Sept 13 and I have a call into the repair company to find out the status of the part. We are also going to talk to someone about any legal actions we may be able to take against LG since this apparently has been an ongoing issue for a while and LG has not done a recall on the problem.

I would like to think that when you pay over $3000 for a refrigerator you're getting a good product.

LG Electronics 43uj630v

I recently bought an LG 43UJ630V 4k hdr tv. Overall its a nice tv but it have some issues. When i watch movies or series or playing videogames with hdr enable the image looks a little blurry or dark and the colors some times change tones. Especially when i wach netflix series. Some times when hdr is not enabled (series with standard hd) the image is very grainy sometimes especially on dark or light colors amd its really annoying. I dont know if that's how LG 4k tvs supposed to look or its a malfunction with my tv.

LG Electronics lg door-in-door french refrigerator

I purchased the refrigerator in July 2016. While under warranty, I complained about the upper ice compartment getting stuck from being frozen over. After two visits from the service tech, the door was replaced. Not long after that, same issue . This time it took two more visits and the hose was unkinked. Luckily I took out an extended warranty. Last week, I discovered that the frozen items were thawing. I thought maybe I hadn't closed it tightly enough, until I discovered that the entire refrigerator was warming. I called Karl's appliance center only to learn that the compressors were going out on many LG refrigerators, and she assumed that was the issue. By the time I called her, it was a Friday afternoon. She said she couldn't get a service technician out until the following Tuesday. Fortunately I was able to find a business that sold freezers. I had to shell out $348.14 for a 7 cu ft. Freezer that I probably won't need after the refrigerator is repaired. It has only been 2 years since I bought this unit new. That I had to have this much drama is unreal. I have had Whirlpools in the past, and never a problem. The only reason I bought an LG is that I was told that the issues associated with that brand had been resolved; apparently not. I didn't bother to call customer service, because the last time I spoke with then regarding my LG cook top, I got the runaround. I finally was told to contact Karl's. The tech person said when he got to my neighborhood, he would stop in to see what the issue was. I am still waiting. That was a year ago. I will never buy an LG appliance again.

LG Electronics lg french door refrigerator

I am extremely disappointed with LG's products and its service, esp. its service. I do not know why LG needs a service department / team when it does not really provide the necessary service. For a company that is so big and well known in Korea, it certainly has created a very bad reputation / name for itself in the U.S. Everyone that I talked to and who had purchased a LG product previously had sworn that they will never buy another LG product again. Now I know why, my 2 year old refrigerator has been broken for over a month now and LG service center is still unable to find someone that is willing and can fix the refrigerator. Every time I called the service support center, I always received the excuse that your case has been elevated to the top level of the support group and we are looking for someone to fix your refrigerator. It's past 4 weeks already and I live in a big city. If there is someone that can fix it, you would have found it by now. The issue is my refrigerator is not easily fixable and LG is unable to find anyone to fix it. But they will not admit it. They finally located someone to come by and evaluate the problem about 3 weeks ago. The technician told us that it is a compressor problem, but he is not the one to fix it because he is going on vacation and LG will send someone else to fix. He said that he will be gone for one week. I told him that I will wait for him to return from his vacation. He told me I should not have to wait that long as LG will send someone over to fix it before he comes back. It's already over 3 weeks and LG still has not sent anyone to fix the problem. Another technician I hired told me it's very costly and time consuming to fix the compressor problem and he cannot do it. He gave me a quote of what it would cost to fix the compressor problem, which is about the price of a new LG refrigerator. After that, there is no guarantee that it would work. Another LG contracted repair company told me they cannot fix it because it's too difficult when I called them. Since I was not able to get anyway with the customer support group, I contacted the commercial support # and my called was forwarded to someone who told me that it was unacceptable to make me wait so long to get an answer. She said she will forward my case to the executive group and they will contact me. It was already over a week and I have not received a call from anyone. Finally, I called the commercial department again and they forwarded my call to the executive group. When the call finally went through, the agent told me to hold and then proceeded to hang up on me. I called back again and the second agent was extremely rude on the phone. I have never had an appliance that breaks down within 2 years, esp. with one that is so expensive and have never dealt with a company that does not stand behind its products and honor what it put out on its website and address the customers' issues right away. LG customer support just keeps on stalling and delaying, probably hoping that the I will get frustrated and stop calling. I am very frustrated as I have not been able to buy any foods for over a month already because I do not have another refrigerator to keep the foods and I cannot throw this one out because it's still brand new and I spent a lot of money to purchase it.

LG's website has this slogan "LG Direct Service experts know LG products inside and out - from big-screen tvs ...dishwashers, refrigerators, ... and any other LG products. nobody can match our LG repair service technicians' product knowledge and commitment to excellence, utilizing only genuine LG parts and convenient service times built around your schedule - all backed by LG's promise of satisfaction". I do not know where this team of experts is and I am surprised that LG can honestly put out such a lie. If LG truly cannot locate anyone to fix its broken product after so long, it should admit that it had sold a bad quality product and replace it with a new one esp. one that is so expensive and so new. What can I do to get an answer or a resolution to this problem?

LG Electronics smart phone lg g6

My name is Raymond Bush, I filed a claim on my LG G6 phone since it failed to charge, and do many other functions any more. My claim was approved and a prepaid UPS shipping Label was sent to me to pack my phone and send it in. The UPS tracking number is 1Z V3X [protected]

My phone was accepted as delivered and signed for by a guy named Raul on Thursday Morning of last week. My original Claim ID that was assigned in my email says Claim ID 522.

I have still not recived my replacement device as promised unthe second year guarantee. And the lady I have spoken with several times keeps giving me the run around, stating my phone would ship out Friday of last week. Then Tuesday rolls around and It will ship out Wednesday, then today, it will ship out next week. I am tired of playing these games. This phone was almost a thousand dollars and it is still under warranty. My registration for my phone is 321446, according to my email directly from LG which shows that yes in fact my phone was registered as required.

I want a phone back ASAP. I am really getting tired of them lying to me telling me that my phone is shipped, then its not shipped, yet they can not ever give me tracking information so I can track the location of my phone, nor will they give me the carrier that is supposedly shipping it to me. So where is my phone?

I am done not getting answers and done with the crappy service I am getting and being told one thing, then another.

LG Electronics washing machine

Hello all,

Hope this email finds you well.

Please note that we are having a terrible experience with the customer support service after we bought multiple refrigerators and washing machines trusting the LG brand.

Kindly note that I have asked for a technician to set the washing machine multiple times with each time no one calls or show up during the estimated time. And finally after pushing multiple times that we are in need to get the washing machine to work as soon as possible a technician has been sent to set the machine but he did not test it after setting for the input/output water, we tried to power on the machine and when we tried we found that there is an error displayed (dE2) and it did not run the program. After that I found the output water cord is not put in the sewer pipe at all.

We are still facing an issue to get the machine working after the error we faced.

Multiple escalations were asked from the call center(19960) but no one answered us yet.

We have been trying to contact LG global support to aid us push on the local support to get this going and finalise the issue ASAP.

LG Electronics refrigerator

Lg customer service is an absolute joke! Our high-end lg refrigerator (model #lfxc24726s/02) has not been working now for over two weeks. The geek squad from best buy came out and diagnosed it as having a bad compressor. This is a factory warranty issue. We called lg a total of 11 times and each time we were given an rnn number and said a technician would be contacting us. That never happened! We would repeatedly call back and speak to a supervisor and again each time they would reassure us that someone would be back in touch. We never lost our cool, knowing that never resolves issues. However, we would be put on hold and disconnected repeatedly. Upon calling back, they would document in their notes that we had hung up on them! Additionally, the hold times to wait for a supervisor were insane! My husband timed it and a "one hour" wait was the average. After speaking with several appliance repairmen, lg is at their bottom of the list for quality, dependable refrigerators! Never, ever will be buy lg!

LG must mean Low Grade! The only things that exceeds LG's low grade quality is their lower grade customer support. You will regret if you buy it! Ignore all the awards and high customer reviews as they ONLY account for the first few months or couple years of service. It's initial quality based on looks and shine. That's the mistake I made at least. I will personally never buy any LG product again and it's not because my fridge failed, but because the company could not provide basic support such as sending a technician or offer any reimbursement / credit for my failed product. It's not like I bought disposable phone that's good for 2 years before it's outdated.

Fridge and freezer stopped cooling on 7/13/2018. I opened a support ticket and got email request for proof of purchase on 7/15/2018. On 7/23/2018, LG reached out and informed me the fridge is not covered my warranty, but

I immediately responded and asked for LG recommended service. LG never responded.

I have since learned that LG fridges are very difficult to service. I called 6 places (I'm located in North East), five of them told me they do not support LG, and one of the five laughed at me for buying this product. So good luck on that front..Oh wait, need new replacement parts? that will be another few weeks of added delay.

My issue turned out to be refrigerant leak. Given that it failed 2 years, 10 months after the purchase, I assume the failure started as factory defect or likely during the first year. Called LG and asked them to compensate me or provide credit towards new purchase. Never heard from them! I was not looking for outrages amount. I would have settled for ~600 credit towards new product. I guess too much to ask without impacting their profit margins.

For all the consumer protections, I'm blown away major appliance such as fridge comes with 1 year warranty when factory defects can take few years to manifest. I think we need to demand better! I'm ticked off and I hope consumers change the rules. We should demand 3 year factory warranty for major components. Also, punish companies that intentionally design appliances to last ~5 years. On that front, mission accomplished LG!

I'm hoping there will be class action lawsuit against LG refrigerators as I'm convinced this is a faulty design.

LG Electronics iran lg agent (goldiran)

I have bought a "TF580WB" on april 2018 (TF 580WB : Iran represative (Goldiran) model No).
After unpacking the product and quick test of main functions there was no problem with the refregerator and I packed it again in order to use it 4 month later.
This month I wanted to use the refregerator so I found that there is a problem with the bottle container. (See the attached video). this problem is due to bad shrinkage of refregerator door. (door shrink molding).
So I called the goldiran costomer services and they told me this is not a guaranty case because you have bought the refrigerator 5 month ago.

Is it really good reason!
This is a big molding fault and they told me you should inform us less than two month!

LG Electronics microwave

I bought a overhead range lg stove and microwave and didn't think I would have to insure the microwave due 2 me having home appliances insurance if and when it needs repsirs/replacement some yrs down the way SUPRISE to me it broke before the 1yr manufacturer coverage time! Now I've been waiting over a month to have it either replaced or fixed! Parts been coming 1 box per week but not the right ones! Tech been here 3 times and still cant fix it due to wrong parts! I asked for a refund and was told to submit receipt of purchase so I did but still they're not giving me a refund or new unit! I'm so disappointed with this company and swear I will never buy nothing again from them!

LG Electronics telephone is not repaired within the guarantee and ask for money

I sent my mobile to customer service on May 2018, because it wasn´t working properly, touch screen didn´t respond. On customer support changed IMEI to my phone.

Now, after 3 month of use. My phone didn´t recognize any WIFI, and the couldn´t hear properly the person who was calling me or whom I called. I have sent my phone to reparations, and they told me I have to pay 327 EUR, while my telephone is on guarantee. I was told that because of humidity, my guarantee does not cover the reparations. I told that my phone was properly used, and never ever the water got to my phone.

I supposed, that on the first time, when they changed my IMEI, they put me a second hand one. They told me that NO, they used a new one. Then, my question is, how could the humidity get to my phone if the IMEI was a new one. Isn´t it supposed to be hermetic closed? and it won´t get condensed air?

I am really disappointed of the service. I won´t pay this money, as I could pay a new phone already.

My Airconditioning, TV, Stereo System, Fridge, Washing Machine, Computer Monitor and all My family phones are LG
By taking in consideration the current feedback, we will take in considerations our future purchases
But still I hope we can receive a resolution on our issue

My request: To get my phone as soon as possible and to be repaired within the guarantee
