I purchased an LG LED TV (LB69) on 8 May 2015. The display started to show issues in May 2018 and was completely gone in 6 weeks. We requested service. They came and examined the TV. They said you need to replace the display panel at a huge cost--around the price of the TV we had bought. Is a high tech expensive TV supposed to be like this, working for some three years and break?
I expect a service and a replacement at a much lower cost, below a third of the product's price for example. (It has only been three years since the purchase.)
* We had a 18 month warranty covered by Goldiran.
refrigerator - door in door
Hi: We bought LG Door in Door refrigerator. very expensive. In a year freezer stop working. I call LG. They said they will fix it. OMG They are nothing but group of lye's. They keep promising if they can't get some authorize service center coming to my house to replace the refrigerator they will replace it. They did that for over a month. their main purpose was to keep the customer running until they get feed up and drop the case. The Refrigerator comparasor seems to be a piece junk. in addition to other parts, the computer and etc... everyone said it will take them whole day to replace the comparasor. No one wants to do that. LG Refrigerator are extremely bad. They are highly prize for piece of garbage. please stay away from LG product. They better just stay with the Mobile phone. They are far from making reliable refrigerator. They high a group of lye's as their customer service. Please don't get fool by them. they are trained to fool the customers.
lg egypt service center and after sale
Having 4 parts damaged in my refrigerator from LG, calling since June and nothing happened. But, every month they tell me to call next month to close the case now and reopen again!
I never saw such service before!
The local Dealer in my city when I was referred to by LG Egypt, was telling 2 items are fond although in the call center they mentioned only one. I asked that I want to purchase these items, but I was asked to pay almost all the price and come to pick those items after a week because of some public holidays that time, as these items is not in stock! I refused to pay because I was not sure who is right from LG Egypt or the local dealers.
Today I was informed nothing is available from LG Egypt! It's a big confusion for me.
The customer service are not taking my complain seriously and are all the company in Egypt don't seeem to be professional to handle product as LG.
Almost 3 month and not a single item is fond or ordered.

Bought the phone in June 2016, and just last week, it turned off by itself. Could not turn it on anymore despite trying to boot to safe/recovery mode. After researching online, found out that it is a known issue (mainboard), together with boot looping. Contacted LG Support, and was told that I could send it in so they can check. I have just received an email stating that repairs would cost 171 euros.
I understand that I am 2 months out of LG's warranty, however, as this is a known-issue and not a user's fault (e.g. dropped phone, damage due to liquid, etc), LG should at least shoulder the cost. Why wasn't there a product recall in the first place back in 2016 knowing that a lot of people were affected by this problem?,

My TV broke over a month ago. This TV is less than 6 months old, and I paid a LOT of money for it. I have been waiting for over a month for a TV. I have wasted a whole month of my summer vacation with my kids waiting for your stupid company to resolve this issue. I am absolutely irate over this and will never buy another LG product in my life. I will also be telling everyone I know about my experience and I will be posting every place that I can find on the internet. I will be reporting you to the Better Business Bureau and to Consumer Electronics. I've been promised over and over that I would receive a resolution to this and I have not once received any sort of ANYTHING from LG! I have had to call in and wait on hold for hours on end just to receive any info. I have tried to remain calm and let your company make this right, but at this point you have lost a customer for life. And I will do everything in my power to make others aware of your absolute lack of customer service and your faulty products!

I dont know what's wrong with y'alls phones but I Always brushed on lg phones to everyone now I would tell them to not get one because ever since I bought the lg fiesta I have had nothing but aggravating between phone being slow to no service and it won't stay connected to wifi I have had to factory rest phone which completely sucks having to do that to constantly turning it off and restarting it! I'm very disappointed in these phones! As of right now I wi never purchase a lg phone! I'm about to post a review of these phones on everything social and internet media I can find! Very aggravated!
washing machine broke - egypt

I'm having a serious issue since February 2018, I'm a working mum with 2 babies, and my washing machine was broke, I called Egypt call center, they sent me a technician who tried to fix with no result, so he recommended buying a new one, where we approved, but it was not available in Egypt stock and the first reply was, "we stopped this line of business, so we don't have this spare part - board", but I requested importing it, and since then there was a huge delay from Mar till May, They called us and said, It is available and scheduled more than one visit, and calls where they ask my husband about the status, and he narrate what happened, and they tell him will get back to him with no call backs, at the end I was contacting the technician and he confirmed that the new spare is available, and was rescheduling an appointment, where an assistant in the warehouse or service center refused to hand to the technician and he deleted the order on the paper as shown in the attachment, the technician send me picture of this, by then I called the call center (who received like 8 requests from me and they did it before) to tell me that the spare part was never there and they denied its existence although I;m having copy of the document that states its existence with my husband name - will attach it in the compaint-, so I need support in repairing my washing machine and set governance rules to this process as it full of gaps.

Also I need to mention that the way of the one who answered the last call with me, called Bassem as far as I remember was really aggressive and not supportive at all, and when I requested to talk to his manager, he refused.

I Called LG customer care to fix my television and after the engineer came he said we need a spare part so customer service advised it will arrive from Korea and will fix the television on the 17th of August however no one called when i called again thez advised it will be on 28th of August or 1st of September.. i am without TV for almost a month and whenever i call they provide the worst customer service ever

We purchased the range in January 2018. At first it worked great. Then the front two burners quit being responsive to the controls. If you turned the burner on high, nothing happened. Turn it on low, it burned things. Cooking was impossible. The repairman came out promptly and replaced things. It worked for about a week and it happened again, but worse. The repairman has been out three times and the last time he came out he told us the left side was working well and on the right side to use "8" for high and "3 " for low, and that was the best he could do.
Now it is really horrible. Impossible to simmer anything. Impossible to cook anything. It has now been a month and first LG was insisting to send the repairman again. Now they say we need to wait two weeks for a review to see if they will replace or refund the range.
Two more weeks is a long time to wait when you have a cooktop that does not function.

I am battling to send MMS with my phone although I can receive. My celphone service provider has sent me all the APN settings and it still does not work. I have contacted the LG head office on more one occasion. My calls are never returned and I am still battling. The after sales service is extremely poor and customer service is basically non existent.

french door refrigerator - model lfxs29766 - poor quality
I purchased LG's French Door Refrigerator model LFXS29766 in November of 2016. The compressor went out this week. Didn't even last 2 years. I know of someone else who had the same problem, his didn't last a year...it took him 3 months to get his repaired...same model of refrigerator...coincidence, probably not. I called LG, they provided phone#s for service repair in my area. I called the service repair places and they indicated they will not provide any type of warranty service on LG products due to LG not providing reimbursement for their services. I asked if the replacement compressors were the same compressors used when purchased, they said Yes. Why would I bother replacing a part with the same defective part and spending the dollars for labor and the cost of the compressor since LG will not reimburse their service repair providers. Labor costs START at $600, then add in the cost of the compressor. I'm opting for a new refrigerator at this point.
They need to stop selling defective products. I'm sure they know there are problems with them, so why do this product still exist in stores? They should remove the defective product from stores and work on fixing the issue with these refrigerators.

I am complaining about my new lg v30+ smartphone
The V30+ smartphone's capabilities seemed wonderful when I first read about it. On top of this, the earphones by B&O were a great idea since I am a music lover and spend many hours listening.
However, when I bought my phone at the official supplier in Israel, I was deeply disappointed to find out that the earphones were NOT B&O, as advertised, but LG's own.
Since the same product includes - in Europe and the US - the B&O earphones, I approached the local supplier. I was told that "this is the company's decision, to not supply the B&O earphones and, if I wanted the B&O earphones, I can purchase them at the full price".
I am deeply disappointed since I truly wanted the product and am very satisfied by its operation - except the sound which is now quite poor due to the replacement of the advertised B&O earphones by a product of less quality, by far.
I am expecting the LG company to send me the B&O earphones that should have been in the package in the first place, so I get back the great sound as advertised.
What is wrong with LG?

We purchased an LG dishwasher and it failed, the 1st guy came out and changed the mothrtboard, it failed again, the second guy came out, and he took the front panel off, he couldn't find the issue, but, it started working again, but because he didn't know why it started working, he wrote on his form that he could not solve the issue, BUT, reported back to his boss that he fixed the issue, this contradicts what he wrote on his form which we have a copy of, so, it fails again, we call and ask for our money back, we are unhappy with our failing merchandise, the woman says thats not an option and basically they will come out whenever it breaks untill the warranty expires, and then were out of warranty and excuse the expression S.O.L., we are now anti LG, we will never buy another LG product and has anyone heard the expression BAD NEWS TRAVELS FAST, well that's us on steroids, we will WARN EVERYONE, about this service and then all those people will WARN EVERYONE, and this will have an exponential rippling effect on LG's bottom line.

I have been trying to get my refrigerator repaired for over a month! On 7/19/18 I called the service dept and it took over a week for a tech to come out. A new compressor wa ordered and delivered on 8/9/18. The new compressor was installed and would not work. The compressor was bad when it was delivered. I called the next day for a new. Impress or to be sent and it still has not been delivered.
I have called at least 4 times and talked to Theresa, Jessica and Willie in the executive department. They tell me I will just have to wait to hear from the regional service manager to call me. Today is 8/21/18 and I have not heard from anyone yet!

I sent a certified, return receipt, letter to Mr. Kim who is the president of LG on 8/23/18. It was signed for by a person named Brandon Lowery at LG. I have still not heard a word from any one.
SO SAD! What a way to run a billion dollar corporation. PATHETIC!

I m Living in Amman Jordan, Last Year September 2017 .
Today the Refrigerator start making very wrong sound from the Freezer . So I called customer Service LG at 5.30 first time and he have gave the Maintenance phone number - Upon Calling the Maintenance office, a Recorded message came up and informed me that they will be closed all Week due to National Holiday .
I dont think that the Refrigerator will hold till next week Im pretty sure it will get more damaged . and turning off the Refrigerator is not an option .
For a Company Like LG, It should have emergency Team for problems like mine .
I Have been LG Customer for more than 20 Years, Now I will for sure change for other companies who will offer better Service after Sales .

The finish of the black stainless refrigerators are flawed. No refrigerator should peel when you use the water dispenser.
I purchased the refrigerator on 6/9/17 at Jetson, 10350 S. Federal Hwy, Port St. Lucie FL 34952. One week after the 1 year warranty was over I noticed the peeling around the water dispenser. This is unacceptable. I called the customer service unit and all they offered was the black and white touch up paint. This is a joke. I now have beautiful granite counter-tops with junky appliances. You failed to disclose the finish on these products. Had I known I would not have purchased a black stainless product. This product should be reported to all the necessary agencies. BBB, Consumer Product Agency and the Attorney General.
