LG Electronics free warranty extensions with purchase

LG corporation ran a scam on the purchase of extended warranty for appliances with an extra three month attached for a one year extended warranty. They refused to honor it and there was no paper work given on line other than a web page. It's a scam and they will not honor it.

I tried to call and complain but they refused to honor what they presented and gave excuses knowing the customer had no way of backing up their scam. BEWARE!

LG Electronics washer

Today, my top-load LG washer dispalyed an error code, which indicates that there's a problem with the machine's clutch. The washer is one year and eleven days old.

After seven hours, I was finally able to get through to LG customer service, who told me that not only would they offer no compensation (out of warranty eleven days), but they did not have an authorized service representative in my area (Charleston, SC).

LG does NOT stand behind their products. Stay away, far, far away from this company.

I bought a dryer from LG and wanted someone to come to plug it and show use it for the first time

I made the first call on Monday 6th august to set an appointment for the 11th of August (my only day off from work) the company refused to set an appointment and insisted that i must call 48 hours before the date I want
I told them that I will call on wednesady and the also refused and siad i should call on thursday to set an appointment for saturday the 11th

I called on thursday and they said it will be saturday 11 OR sunday 12, when i explained all what happened they said that Friday is their day off and it is not counted

After many negotiations they agreed to come on saturday 11th august between 1 and 2 pm

I was waiting for them on saturday and let me tell you that this is a new house and i am not living there yet so i have to drive 2 hours to arrive there

I arrived and was waiting for them and no one came
I called them five times and every time no one did ANY KIND OF HELP

All what they said is that I have to wait till someone calls me

No time frame! I just have to wait from 12 pm till 9 pm
No ONE helped me at all
They just kept saying that the are donig investigations and that some one will call me and no one called

They gave numbers to try to contact and these numbers were unreachable

Even the whatsapp service is awful NO one does any help
Now it is 11 pm and no one called or showed

All what they say is that I have to wait 48 hours
How can they be so careless about time of the client

How can they be so unprofessional and unhelpful

This is the first product I buy from LG and I am afraid it will be the last

If all this happens now, what will they do if the product broke or needed maintenance at some point

My father was about to buy completly new electronic from LG including tv, refrigirator, dryer and washing machine but let me tell you after what happened today i told him NO they are really bad

What happened today will affect your reputation because i am sure that it didn't happen just with me, their way says that this is what they do always

Please take action ... this is so bad for a well know brand like you
How can i recommend your brand if this is what i see when dealing with LG egypt for the first time

LG product is low garbage. Company lies to the customers to cover up responsibility
Product is complete unsafe and LG neglect consumer cry. Cheating starts with management personal. Records being rewritten . Company stop communication with us after we provided prove that LG Canada misled customer. Can not wait till class action against company starts

LG Electronics lg refrigerator service in israel

I have purchased LG GR-B709DID refrigerator in March 2016
I am paying your service representative BRIMAG, a monthly fee for maintenance.
Last month the light of the Door in Door (outer door) stopped working.
The technician advised that the light switch should be replaced.
BRIMAG now are telling me that the complete Door in Door need to be replaced and it will take 90 days!
This is not acceptable.
Please advise

LG Electronics tv

TV purchased in Nov, 2015 and picture has gone out already. LG should replace. This is ridiculous that we paid $900 and now we're supposed to buy brand new one again. Not happy at all. What is LG willing to do for us? While we were watching today, the left side of the screen started to flash on and off and then the left side went light while the right side was ok. TV remote won't work at all!

LG Electronics smart tv 60lb6500 hdmi ports stopped working

This TV was released for sale in May of 2014. I purchased this TV on June 27, 2014. This TV was a brand new TV, both to the market and myself. Approximately 5 or 6 weeks ago, I started to have issues with the HDMI ports on the TV. Ports 1 and 3 were showing "no signal" with any devices being connected...only port 2 was working at the time. On July 17, all 3 ports stopped working. I contacted LG and was told it would cost me $125 to have a technician come out since my TV was out of warranty...unacceptable! THEN, I was guaranteed at the time that if I paid the $125, my TV would be fixed. Their favorite phrase "rest assured it will be taken care of." The issue was obviously NOT fixed, so I would have just been out of an ADDITIONAL $125. Bad business! The issue was clearly a manufacturer issue. I contacted your social media team and they agreed to send a technician out at no charge.

Your technician came out 3 different times and replaced the motherboard 3 times and replaced a cable as well, still nothing. The head of his department had determined that the TV was unrepairable. On July 31st, a "return authorization" was allegedly submitted and denied. The technician contacted me on August 2nd and notified me that he had to escalate it to get it overturned and he submitted another one. I contacted LG today (August 3rd) and they told me it was denied and would have to be resubmitted. I asked the representative why and he alleges he was unaware.

Your customer service is absolutely NO HELP WHATSOEVER!
1.) My TV should not have a shelf life of 4 years! This TV or part(s) should have been recalled! Throughout this process, I've discovered that this is a common issue with your TVs!
2.) I am paying for cable service on a TV I can not even watch! No compensation there from L-[censored]ing-G!
3.) I've had to take time off from work on 3 separate occasions to sit home during a 4 hour window waiting on the technician! No compensation there from L-[censored]ing-G!
4.) Everytime I call, the call/hold times are beyond excessive for the reasons for my call. Your customer service is outsourced to an overseas company and those people are mentally dense when it comes to addressing customer issues. They're unempathic and only have the ability to be robotic script readers. I have never had my time wasted on the phone like it is when I contact your custoner service department! It's disgusting and despicable. I am writing this email as I am on the phone with your custoner service department...currently on hold...the current call time is 1 hour and 15 minutes and counting. Out of 75 minutes, I've spent about 60 of them actually holding! RI-[censored]ING-DICULOUS! After holding, I finally got to an AMERICAN person from the return authorization department and he told me my RA request was in fact NOT denied, it was just submitted incorrectly! Yet another display of the incompantcy of your customer service department!

I am MILES BEYOND being livid at this point and a partial credit for my TV is unacceptable! LG has wasted my time and money in more ways than one and I want to be compensated for the mayhem that I've had to deal with!

I want to be contacted by someone from America...not a foreigner in one of your low-rent call centers! You all are making more than enough money to have adequate points if contacts for these specific customer issues! Everytime I call your call center, I should not be made to feel like I'm being a bother to YOUR employeees as a customer. The nasty attitudes, the disregard for tone, and lack of knowledge is what your customers get for spending their hard-earned money on your [censored]ty products?

Unacceptable!

P.S. Still holding to speak with someone else because the RA that was allegedly submitted about 40 minutes ago was not done. Current call time...1 hour and 42 damn minutes!

LG Electronics tv model: 42le4500-ta/customer service

I called customer service(19960) on July 28 at 10:15 am, Regarding LG TV Which I bought in 2011 and now the image suddenly turned off for repeated times, the customer service sent a technician on the same day and the technician told me you need to change the backlight leds which is not available in the country and you have to call the customer service again to get it out of country and also to know the cost, so I called the customer service again at 01:15 pm on July 28 and they told me we are not manufacture this model of the TV anymore and this part is not available so I told the lady this is strange, company like LG give this such answer and who is your reference to give this type of information, she told Mr. Khaled Gad and I asked her to escalate my complain to hire manager and please reply to me after 24 hrs, otherwise I will send my complain to the headquarter because I am dealing with LG company one of the biggest electronic companies in the world but unfortunately I didn't receive any reply till now, so I am waiting your reply to solve this problem.

PS:you can confirm via LG Egypt customer service recordable calls according to the above date and times.

LG Electronics refrigerator 14 ft

Dear Sir/Madam
Good day,

I bought one LG refrigerator on 2015, from an authorized seller called almorshedy, in Egypt, on 20th of July 2018, I found out that freezer is not working.

I shut it down for 3.5 hours and got everything out of it.

Turned it on again and it still was not working

On 21st of July I called the call center and reported the issue, they gentleman asked me to do what I did on yesterday, when I confirmed to him that I did, he did a maintenance request for me, and the technician came same day, and advised after checking that whether the board or the compressor is not working.

He advised he would order the board first, if it worked after changing the old one that would be OK, if it still not working he would order the compressor then.

On 24th I called the call center again, the agent advised that spare parts take 3 working days to be delivered. And confirmed that board order was made on 22ND of July.

The technician came on 25 with the board, installed it, and it still was not working so he advised he would order the compressor now.

On 1st of August I called the call center, it was complete frustrating call, the gentleman advised that compressor is bing imported and would take 35 days (give or take) to be delivered, I tried to convince him that it is not logic and if it is this way, they better change the hole thing or any other solution that I should not wait that long in a hot country like ours, he told me what he can do is file a complaint, I told him no I'll do it myself.

I need urgent solution as I left my home for that and I already live in a remote area.

This is very frustrating and disappointing that I rely on a brand positive that it will not malfunction or breakdown, and if it did I'd find a customer service that I deserve, taking into consideration that it is in the warranty period, and it has been only 2 years I'm using it, and clearly it is manufacturing issue, although the technician tried to inform me it is because the unstable electricity, which is not true, and I already have other LG appliances working normally, and he already seems was not sure and didn't share the check up report with me since beginning.

Your urgent and prompt action are highly appreciated.

LG Electronics customer support - 42le8500

Dear LG,

I am very displeased with the customer service that is being provided.

I am very fond of LG Electronics Brand and I own a TV, Fridge, Washing Machine and Microwave, all LGE.
I'm very happy with my appliances, up to the point that I had a problem with my TV.

The model is a 42LE8500 and for the past year I started having problems on the HDMI connections. All HDMI ports don't seem to be working.
Coax, Antenna and Media Player (both USB and Network connected) work fine, TDT also. The problem is with HDMI which is not working.

After some research on the Internet, I found that a lot of customers are having similar issues with models purchased around 2010/2011, and they all point to some sort of HDMI soldering problem. It's very easy to find such cases: https://www.youtube.com/results?search_query=LG+hdmi+soldering

I actually performed the test with a hair drier and the issue is confirmed. There seems to be some electrical contact/soldering problem with LG TVs for some specific product series.

Understanding that the warranty period has already passed, on April 2nd I contacted the Portuguese LGE customer service to ask for help. After insisting for some feedback I got a reply on April the 13th informing me that the device is not covered by any warranty and that LGE was available to repair the equipment after presenting a budget.

On the 23rd I asked LGE how could we proceed for the repair and again after insisting for some feedback I got a reply on June the 6th stating that the information was passed on to "Serviço Técnico Oficial AT Informática" that would contact me and arrange all needed procedures to evaluate the repair.
I had no more feedback since.

My TV is still having the HDMI problem and Its clear that this problem is related to a design issue. It should be of LGE's best interest to address these issues promptly, even if the customer has to pay or support some costs.
It's unacceptable that the appliance simply stops working due to a design fault and the customer service takes months to provide information and does nothing to repair the device!

LG Electronics lg photo paper

When using your zinc paper there is an inconsistency between the quality of colour of the sticky paper and non sticky. The sticky paper prints are really red and oversaturated whereas the non sticky is perfect. In the photo attached the top image is non sticky and perfect. The bottom image is sticky paper and without filters, it's really bad and would seem a fundamental flaw.

The sticky paper prints are really red and oversaturated whereas the non sticky is perfect. I'm having to use the cross process filter in the app to get the colour anywhere near correct. In the attached image the top image is non sticky and perfect, the bottom image is terrible.

LG Electronics washer repair

There is no initiative from LG to call when the replacement parts they ordered arrived at their service centre. I had to call to followup and only then did they check and said oh yes it has arrived.
Then trying to get the LG technician to come over to replace the faulty parts was another headache. After 2 weeks of me chasing the technician, an appointment was finally made.
Then just minutes before the time of the appointment the technician calls me up and informs me that not all the parts have arrived!
All this drama had taken up 4 weeks of my time and no conclusion was insight!
LG Malaysia service is a joke! Looks like there is a conspiracy within LG to bring down the company.

I have tried to resolve this issue via Customer Service, your 'repair guys' and now through BBB. Figured since a complaint has been filed you guys might want to look into this as well... than again maybe not since LG has NOT offered any help in resolving the fact I have giant paperweight in my kitchen. Maybe an attorney might help.
02/13/2016 we bought an LG Refrigerator Model LFXS30726S from Home Depot.
05/09/2018: 17 months after purchase 1st issue occurs - leak from tube in or around ice maker. Contact LG who gives us the run around (rude customer service, not helpful, transferred multiple times). Finally get someone who states they will complete a ‘courtesy' repair.
07/23/2018: we notice the ice maker isn't working again. It is not producing ice as fast as it used to. Call LG again - same scenario rude customer service, no one can provide answers, transferred and hung up on. Asked for manager was told no manager was available and not call back was received AFTER the rep took down my information. After calling back a 2nd time I got a rep who told me there was a 90 day warranty on the repair, they would set that up and I'd get a call back on 07/24/2018 from repair guy to come out. I was also given a name, phone number and address of the ‘repair company'.
07/24/2018: I googled the phone, address and name of the ‘repair company' and found it was an individual with limited info online. I called the number around 10 am as I had not heard anything and left a message. By 2 pm I still had not heard anything so I called LG again who told me there wasn't anything more they could do and someone should be out sometime on the 25th. This is NOT helpful when trying to run a business and work - like people do.
07/25/2018: I still received no call from repair guy - but he randomly showed up at my door around 11 am. Walked in, opened the fridge, took the temp said he needed to order a part and walked out of my house. I received NO information and was rude. I called LG back and told them the situation they explained he had to file report before they knew what to do. I told them that repair guy is not to be sent back to my house and I would call the warranty company as they obviously did not know who they are hiring and cannot provide answers.
07/25/208: Called my warranty (through Home Depot) to begin a claim with them. They sent someone out on 07/30/2018 who is ordering a compressor. Was told it could take 1-2 weeks.
08/1/2018: I noticed an error on my fridge. Looked it up it states the fan or control board are not working properly. Called the warranty department back to get info to them and was told I had to reach out to Home Depot which I did and was routed back to the warranty department.
This refrigerator was not built properly. We have had it less than 2 years and pieces are breaking as each day goes by. We not only lots $500 worth of food but the time and effort it has taken to resolve this issue is ridiculous. I can't get any answers, I can't get a resolution so I am left with a $3, 000.00 paperweight in my kitchen that doesn't work. LG needs to make this right. This is not only disappointing but unacceptable.

Wow! I can understand how frustrated you must be with LG. It must be very disappointing to find out that your refrigerator does not work right and there are difficulties finding a skilled technician. LG Electronics rechargeable battery

My son had an LG rechargeable battery. While on its charger. It caught fire and blew up and burned my wall and carpet. I have pictures of the battery and carpet and wall. I filed a complaint on this before. I had a Mr. Mitchel Robbins call me.The number he called from was [protected]. My number is [protected]. He left me a voice mail. I tried to contact him several times he never responded again. Today " 07-27-18" at approx. 3:15 pm. I got a call from someone from your company. He sent me a verification no. He said to prove I was who I said I was. The number was " G-481519" he then transferred me to what he said legal dept. The man I talked to asked if the battery was in a vape unit. I said at the time it was in the battery charger. He said in a very disrespectful manner. " Well you complaint says he used it for a vape machine. So do you want to start telling the truth now BUDDY". I told him I was not his damn buddy and I was telling him the truth. That the battery blew up while charging. He said well, here is how it is going to go down. Then a computer animated voice came on the line and said something like. " Your out of luck buddy " then I was hung up on. I could not believe how disrespectful this person was from a company as yours.

LG Electronics mobile / customer service

I have a Nexus 5X (made by LG) I have a bootloader issue. I bought the phone on eBay. They refuse to fix the phone because it was bought on eBay. LG is responsible for this problem, and they do not want to solve it. this is how they want to get more business? I will NEVER EVER IN MY LIFE buy an LG product... And I will tell every friend and family to not buy anything from LG.

LG Electronics google drive offer for my new g6+ device

Please help and intervene as I am not getting anywhere, with LG Middle East. I have been contacting them since April 2018. They seem not to know what to do, but my issue is a very simple one. Below is my latest message to them. I can send you all my communication with them, should you need it.

Although the promotion came preinstalled, LG negotiated this deal with Google, then LG implemented it. As such, LG owns it. LG Electronics tv 55la7400

Dear Gentlemen;
Kindly i bought a TV 55LA7400 from here in Jeddah - Saudi Arabia; when LG delivered the TV it was broken - they promised to bring another one next day; a couple of Hours; they told me no more from the same Modle available in the stores and i have to contact the showroom.
Afterward; the showroom informed me that they will return back what i had bay which is not acceptable to me and not satisfy.
I believe that Huge company same like LG will bring an updated one for customer satisfaction, PLZ confirm me.

LG Electronics refrigerator/ model# lfxs24623s/01 freezer not working

On 9/13/17 I bought this fridge brand new. On 7/10/18 it stopped working. Called in on 7/10/18 was told a tech would be out on 7/14/18. Tech never showed up. Called on 7/14/18 was told a tech was never scheduled to come out! ticket was sent in for a service department to call and come out. Turns out service department does not service my area. That was another 5 day wait. Sat on hold for 45 min total of over 2 hours spent on the phone with your sub-par customer service department. Told today 7/24/18 (fridge still not fixed nor has anyone come out) that it would take 4 WEEKS to get someone out just to look at my fridge! This is beyond ridicules you product sucks, your company sucks, and your service sucks! I will never in my life buy another LG product. I will put this on all my social media, and call the company who sold your crappy product and all my friends to NEVER purchase an LG product.

LG Electronics lg refrigerator, inferior product.

I purchased an LG LSXS26366S /00 Model 503MRXX09050 on May 6th 2015 as a renovated my entire house. Tuesday June 17th the compressor which is under warranty for 7 years went out costing me over 2k in groceries, eating out and repair. LG is only willing to reimburse $150 if I can furnish my refrigerator purchase receipt. Neither the store nor the credit card company can produce the record of my purchase as I am unable to find my receipt. For a cost of 2k a company as grand as LG for their appliances when it's the inferior parts used which is costing me takes no responsibility. It is Tuesday June 24th and nothing have been done to get my refrigerator fixed.
