Levi Strauss & Co. review: poor quality 12

I purchased a pair of black shoes/boots for my son in December for about $60, which I know is not a lot but for a struggling mom it is grocery money. By March they were falling apart. Zipper was busted, holes in the toe area, broke down on the inside and the shoe strings even had to be replaced. My son loved these shoes and does not get new shoes often, about twice a year, if that, and I was very disappointed in the quality. I have pictures on my phone but I am unable to attach them since this a work computer.

I have been a loyal customer of Levi-Strauss for over 20 years, the quality and fit was always exceptional, but no more, it seems. 2 pair of jeans, barely worn, have had the rivet buttons pop off and a third pair is on it's way to the same demise. A fourth pair ripped in the back pocket all the way down (a common complaint I've been hearing from others lately). I don't know what has happened with the quality of Levi's jeans lately, but it is unacceptable, especially in these hard economic times. I, like many others, have been hit hard by this economy and I cannot afford to pony-up for Levi's just to have the buttons break off in three months. As I've said before, I've worn Levi's exclusively for decades but no more, it seems it may be time to switch brands.

I am what Levis would consider their model consumer. I am also someone who will no longer EVER buy Levis due not only to their boring and ill-fitting denim and tired looking stores, but primarily because of their offensive billboard in Los Angeles. Why use the word "###" in huge bold capital letters? Is your advertising agency really that absurd and out of touch that they think being 'shocking' and 'rude' is going to drive customers to the mall? Use some originality. It is beyond offensive, which of course was the intent. How dull to try to be provocative in this manner. I implore you to address this. It is offensive, gross and RUDE.

I purchased a pair of levi too superlow 524 jeans made in pakistan and the stink! Literally smell. I have had them for about a month and have been washing they constantly hoping it was the dye but the still smell after bleaching and fabric softener. I really don't wish to return them because they fit very well. The smell is even on me after I have worn them. What should I do? I don't think this is to safe

Have the 501 shrink to fit changed shape? The last three pair I have bought, three different locations, same size I have worn for 10 years now fit loose in waist and super tight around legs. I pull out my old pair and they still fit as comfortable as always. I hate the new feel and get tired of pulling my pants up.

Have purchased one jeans from levis showroom mysore on 40% flat sale. That jeans was damaged one and it did not get replaced by sale executive. Its totally unfair with me kindly take necessary action against them and Do needfull please

What are Docker slacks made of these days?
The material is SO THIN that I don't dare wash them/I ware them at least 3 times before I give them a bath (careful to put them on perm/press with other DELICATE ITEMS). The waist band has worn through all along the top edge and corners. It's SNOW WHITE underneath. THEY ARE ONLY 4 MONTHS OLD! Docker quality has gone as low as I'm willing to put up with. I have purchased Dockers for many years, and never have I been so disappointed. I will no longer be buying DOCKERS!

I bought at Macy, s 3 new pair of levi straus 501 2 pair for my self and one for my husband came to a total 126.00 and tax this was 2 and a half months ago they are not bleached out jeans just nice blue jeans allredy the belt loop is torn off on mine and the seams on all three pair of the top corner pocketd have holes the size of dimes I Think that i should have some kind of restitude made for this i was told to write you by macys because they don, t seem to care i paid for three pair of pants that i would think last for 6mons with heavy ware to a year with the way we ware jeans what is happening to the levi co are you using bad material i hop you will fix this because i feel as i have been taken!

I bought a pair, wore them twice and the rear tore out. I think Levi's denim isn't strong enough to warrant the rivets.

Try rinsing them in vinegar and water. It sets the dye and it should neutyalize the odor.
