Yesterday I place my rv on letgo for sale a gentleman named scott responded he came over to my house and he looked at the rv he didn't have any money I wanted $4, 000 he offered me a vehicle that he was driving and some drugs I told him no I got pissed off and I told him to get the hell off my property last night around 1:30 scott and his friend who came with him came back to my house with guns they had all right gear they had on bulletproof vest helmets bulletproof vest at police they had on infrared glasses they put guns to my head pretty much terrorize me maybe lay down on the ground and they were asking me why he shouldn't kill me I have a picture of the car he was trying to sell me and I have a picture of scott and I have the license plate number I told the police here in columbus georgia and they said I have to have a witness

I checked it's imei on one IMEI. info found it there then bought it. There was no charger so he reduced the price. I accepted and paid and came back but later on using it I found it's a fake phone. User named "deno11" gave me counterfeit money, ran over my foot & shot at me when I chased him down for my laptop. I want to file a police report but I'm pretty sure they'll never find the guy so it's probably pointless. It would be helpful if letgo could contact this user or look at there profile to find any helpful information that I could use for the police to investigate this.

I just spoke with "Kattie" on Letgo and within two hours we had agreed on a price and she gave me her address and a time to meet to purchase a camera. She even gave me details about the camera, where to buy film, and general info about it. I arrived at the agreed upon time and she said she was not selling it, she said that her daughter posted it by mistake and wasn't supposed to and we could not buy it. After all of the discussion and agreed upon price and time, not to mention she had it listed on her site. This is very frustrating and untrustworthy at the very least. The fact that we took the time to drive to her house, which she gave me her address, only to be defrauded. I then went to her reviews and saw that she had four more similar bad reviews so I would recommend she not be allowed to continue to scam people this way. People trust that this is a legitimate site to buy and sell goods and that they are dealing with honest, legitimate people and we put in the time and effort through messages within the site to and from the person listing the item for sale only to find out the person and items listed are lies. I recommend that this person not be allowed to continue to post items and defraud all of the people she already has. This gives the whole company a bad reputation. This shows that there are people who lie and aren't on the site to provide a valuable, legitimate service.

I bought a 15inch 2011 MacBook pro from a seller (now named Ants Computers on letgo) about 2 months ago. It costed $445.

Before I made the purchase, the seller showed up two hours later than the time we discussed to meet.

The day after I bought it, I started having problems with opening some of the programs on the MacBook. I contacted the seller to reach a solution and finally a few days later, we met up so that he could "fix" the problem.

Whatever he did to it did not work (and he even charged me $40 extra for it) and a few days after the attempt, He said that the hard drive needed to be replaced. I kept trying to reach him so that we could settle on a day and time to meet and replace my hard drive, but now a month and a half has passed and he blocked my phone number. Now I'm out $495 AND i'm stuck with a computer that I can't fully use and he claims to not give full refunds (even though that was never expressed during my buying process. I have the messages to prove it.)

On may 23, 2018, I bought an iphone 7 plus from a seller named kashawna smith few seconds later she blocked me on letgo, cash app and my phone number. This is the phone number she gave me, [protected] this is the second time im legit done with this app. Plus cash app also is a scam because they don't have a #. I need my graduation money back asap.

He's trying to get people's information such as their phone number, email address, paypal, etc. He acts like he's interested in your product, then says he'll pay for it via paypal and he wants it shipped, but really he's just trying to get Dox information on you.

Be aware of users like this, first time they say "Paypal" or "Ship" get out of there ASAP.

Seller of a car is trying to scam people with sob story. Says only way to get vehicle is to send money and then test drive it. Once you okay the purchase she says eBay will release funds to seller. Someone vulnerable could possibly lose $1500 over this. Claims to be military as well. They have a picture of a to good to be true vehicle. I asked what was wrong with assuming some type of mechanical issues or body work. Seller sent pictures of interior and exterior of vehicle claimed no problems at all. That they had to sell it before deployment. When I asked where they were located so I could check it out that's when they said I would have to send money and then the car would be sent to me. My name is Alan Nicholson and I had an item for sale and told customer that I was firm on my price and he got aggravated and kept sending me chats, even 5 or 6 times after I had blocked him. So that means he found a way to get around the block. He was on the border of harassing me saying he asked people in my town who I was and knew where I lived. He was under the name of Kevin Painter in Waseca Minnesota.

Please do something about this I would like to use your app again, but I had to uninstall to stop getting messages from this person and now I am not using it but would like to.

This person is selling stolen goods on your site. She is a well known package thief who targets neighborhoods and steals amazon packages. She has been arrested multiple times and currently has a warrant out for her arrest. Everything on her page is stolen. You can contact the santa ana police department in california, they are actively searching for her and the name on her account with you is the exact name on her police record. Home cameras have caught her stealing packages nine times in the past few weeks and she was arrested for this in this same neighborhood in 2016.

Seller promised an Apple Watch shipment and mentioned he has created a label and sending the shipment. I trusted the seller and sent an advance of 85$, the seller blocked me the minute I sent him the advance and disappeared. Square or my bank was unable to do anything about it. Please beware of such skank scammers on letgo. He goes by the name Rahm now.

My account Banned in error. I I have done nothing wrong! I tried to explain this through the "contact us" option. I received a generic message reply that apparently is sent out to everyone who gets banned. I found the exact same error senario from a lot of others banned unjustly. Same replies we're given down to exact wording. No individual reason for Banning my account was given. The only reason I could possibly think of Banning me is that I sent a message to let a seller know the year listed for his vehicle was incorrect. Then I recognized his name as possibly a friend of mine from the 80s. I sent another message asking if it was him I knew. They would ban me for THAT? And they didnt ban the seller who I warned them about who took my money and did not send me my purchase? I have all the proof and conversations and they didn't even care. He went on to sell the item again! Doesn't seem right. I want to know what exactly I did that is worse than stealing. Do they have a customer service number? I would like to speak to a human. I am very offended to be treated like this!

Make it stop. I made the mistake of searching for "free" stuff once upon a time. I have since done other searches. Every day, like clockwork, sometimes more than once a day I get notifications about new listings that match my search for "free!" Make it stop. Thanks.

On May 8, 2018, I bought an iPhone X from a seller named Brandon Miller. This is the phone number he gave me, 248 212 5131. We exchanged messages from letgo. He asked me to send him the money through MoneyGram. So I went to Walmart and I got the transaction done. This was the information he gave me, "$150 if you can make it to MoneyGram asap
Okay when you get to MoneyGram ask the clerk for a money transfer to send money, fill it out with my name Allum Durr my City Detroit & state Michigan also with the money you are purchasing the iPhone with when the transfer is finished & the clerk hands you a receipt look on the receipt it's a 10 digit code on it send me the code & I'll send the UPS united postal service tracking numbers & IMEI to your iPhone package".
I did everything he asked me to do.
This morning, I was waiting for tracking information like he promises me. He finally massages me back saying I have to pay for shipping which was not part of our deal. So, I told him I will not pay for shipping, that I want my money back. Little did I know, a few hours later he blocked from letgo chatroom. He took my money with him. Please help get my refund.

A person, Peace 101 wanted to buy 4 of my comic books, he sent me a check for 2150 which was more than the comic books were worth. He told me to deposit the check and that someone would be picking up the comic books and I could give them the balance. Our bank debited our account for this money. I have filed a police report and the fraud department of The Huntington is looking into this and are aware he used your site. This is a federal offense.

I wanted to start a letgo account today. I had tried to start one unsuccessfully in the past. When I typed in my email address it said I already had an account. I checked the profile and the phone number was not mine and I do not live in Lamesa Texas. I believe this account was some how my unsuccessful attempt to start an account several weeks ago. I would still like to start an account but I cannot open one because my email is attached to this account that is not mine.
