My mother owns a mobile home and it is currently in repossession status. She is disabled, elderly, and currently under my care. The man that is residing in it is currently selling the items on your website that are attached to the mobile home. The police say it is a civil matter that my mother has to sort out in court but I believe it is not in your sites best interest to allow this individual to continue. His name is Jerry Dueitt. My name is William Brown I purchase some silver from some lady named Andrea I gave her $80 cash and come to find out only half of it with silver what can I do in this matter can somebody help me I would like a refund back I gave her $80 cash like I said and I cleaned up all the jewelry and I found out some of it was not silver please somebody help me in this matter

Quality is not an issue. Relatively new to letgo. The issue is the unethical boob that tried to defraud me. First red flag should have been when they asked I text them #never again.
After above request I immediately receivedthe following: I will pay you $50 to just hold for me (2nd red flag). Send me your full name and address so I can send you, cashier check (3rd red flag).
I replied that I don't accept money from people I don't know and I certainly don't give out my full name & address.
Multiple misspelled words, no response and finally getting a : Denis is changing account info.
Please block this idiot!

I put on let go today a picture of a couch and loveseat for 100.00. I got a reply pretty quickly from a guy named a John and his cell phone [protected] he said he was a merchant that " he buys items on sites like this across towns" He said he'd send a certified bank check and when cashed his "shipper" would pick it up... then when I asked about pickup details he said he was giving me 50 extra for holding the item ? and that he was sending me a check for 1500.00, and to keep out my 150.00 and pay his "shipper" the balance of 1350.00; At that point I said no way deal off! Unfortunately I gave my name and address but no banking info, as I realized something was just not right... when you sell an item you assume you get paid the asking price they pick it up and the sale is done. This has scam written all over it to get my banking info or they're laundering money. Has anyone else had this happen on let go, and sorry to say now I'm paying someone to haul my items away for junk as I now don't trust the Let Go site anymore. Thank you, Judith Buhs. Holmes NY. Offered to buy her phone at a certain price and when she disagreed I told her that I was not interested. She then proceeded to call me a b**** and block me. I hope this not how let go allows there community to conduct business as this was my first interaction with the app and it already put a bad impression of the app for me. All I ask is that in order for the let go community to stay positive that these type of interactions are checked and stopped immediately.

I have been trying to post a pellet gun and it keeps getting discarded because it tells me that I'm not allowed to post guns but I have seen several guns for sale on here. Why does mine keep getting discarded but others were able to post their guns for sale? If mine is going to be discarded then all other posts about guns needs to be discarded as well.

I posted an ad in letgo to sell my newly bought iPhone X. This guy pinged me on the app. Met him at the park. I showed him the phone. With in a second I recognize he snatched my phone and ran away into the darker place and gone. This online selling apps are ridiculous now without any identification or contact information people are using it for theft and illegal activities please stop and add more security and track those robbers .

My neighbor was selling her Xbox One for $300 and when the guy ( Thomas Smith) came to our house to purchase it he handed her $300 in fake money when they tried to stop him and tell him it's fake money. The guy then proceeded to pull out a gun on them and sped off in a black Car. Should she contact the police since she doesn't have the license plate number?

This person 'hart' messaged me about sending them my phone via mail. When I logged back on to check the messages were gone and I can't find the person. I am not sure if this is or was a scam. I would like to know what is going on, if this person is a scammer or if this was legit and my messages got erased for some odd reason. I know I updated my informon the apple iphone 7 plus - gold - 128gb (factory unlocked) smartphone and it allowed me to update everything else except put more picture on its only leaving one picture and won't let me change it. I would really like to know what's going on because I was willing to mail this to her son if this was legit and not a scam which it didn't seem it was I don't know why the messages are gone. I'm not sure what is going on please get back to me as soon as possible.

Last Tuesday (4/17/2018) I 'thought I was' buying a purse from this user, he sent an invoice to our PayPal account, after he 'got his money' he basically went 'MIA'. I received no tracking number, no item, no response to attempted communication, nothing. I tracked him down on Facebook & contacted his mother but received no reply from either one until I threatened legal action. Last Saturday (4/21/201/) I told them both that if I didn't receive the item OR a full refund by the following Friday (4/27/2018), I would be contacting their local law enforcement agency & filing charges for theft & fraud. His mother finally replied claiming that it was another kid who opened the account in her son's name, she was 'so sorry' & that if I gave her my name & address, she would send me back my money. Well, that was a week ago & I'm still waiting. Yesterday I called both St. Joseph Missouri's police department as well as our own local department here in Madison Wisconsin. Apparently you have to file with your own local department & the two work together to resolve the issue. The officer at our local department also told me about the FBI's site for computer fraud CI3.gov so yes, the FBI is also now involved.

Letgo user reaches out within the app asking how much I want for laptop, once price is agreed upon he asks to pay using PayPal, I agree and wait for their instructions to continue. I receive what I believe to be a legitimate email from PayPal (includes their logo and everything) it gives me shipping instructions and even stated the buyer initiated a transfer of 1280 to cover next day shipping costs. I send the laptop via mail the next day and follow the procedures to a tee by sending receipts and tracking info back to the email sent to me from "PayPal". Had to call PayPal to figure out they had no transaction for my specific ID. The purchaser claims to be in the military and on a ship at sea yet will respond to my texts and insist he will pay. I have yet to receive money and I am positive this person has zero intent to ether pay or send back my laptop.

A letgo user contacted me about being interested in one of my items. I tried to contact him repeatedly and repeatedly he did not answer. I told him nicely that it was rude for him not to contact the seller back and told him that you anyways and not to wasye my time.
I don't appreciate him verbally abusing me. I didn't be rude to them so I don't like that I was told the comment said in the screenshot. I blocked the user but i hope that you can somehow warn others that he is not a nice person to deal with.
Also why is there no way to put this complaint to you on the website?

Why can't I place a add about a flea market open? there are plenty of adds on your sight displaying business
Cleaning lady.. company
Cutting grass/ tress
Changing tires
Fixing phones/ computers
Restauration furniture
Roofs, gutters, spring cleaning
Cleaning of garages
Etc etc

Where do you feel the public doesn't want to see this? A flea market that's opened and having a auction as well as free coffee and cake?

My add as a flea market has been running in home for over a year
Today I change to other and add I'm having a auction and now it's deleted?

4/13/2018, Yes Friday the 13th. I was eating my breakfast at McDonald's around 5:30am..went to bathroom came back and my bike was gone...I called police to make a report..i walked all over hoping to find it...since I know that typically theifs will post on Craigslist, Offer up, or Let go.. I told everybody I will have my bicycle back by the end of this day.. luckily since I was a kid I always wanted to be an investigator cuz I was always good at finding things I literally had my face glued to my phone looking at every website constantly updating it and refreshing it all day long finally 7 p.m. I seen it posted on let-go... Immediately called Police Department they came to my house and I asked what we should do and I said why don't I just create a fake profile act like I'm going to buy it and I'll meet him and we can get him... After two tries that failed finally at 2 a.m. It worked and I got my bicycle back

Let me start by saying I am a disabled combat Veteran that worked hard to earn the money to buy this car. I saw the vehicle online a 2005 White Acura IT for 1500. I contacted the person with email [protected]@gmail.com. She said that her son died and she was selling the car through ebay motors. I received what I thought was an email from ebay saying to send a copy of the ebay cards and the receipt which I did. The next day the person emailed me again saying that shipment was held up and I needed to send 100 more which I will get back in cash once the vehicle is delivered. I found that suspicious and I called Ebay and they said that they donot buy cars with ebay cards and I was scammed and this was a new thing going around. I had the cards frozen but ebay is telling me that if their is nothing on the card then I donot get my money back. I am taking everyone to court including ebay because I am a Veteran that fought for this country and to think that Letgo would not screen their buyers is ridiculous and someone is going to answer for this trust me! And the item is still online for sale this is disgusting!Who treats Veterans this way!

hi I wanted to report a crime, on this 4/15/18 I was at 10:18pm I was been rub by stolen my iPhone 7 for giving me a fake 3 100$ bill money by this named josh Parker my buyer for my iphone7 what happened was I meet this buyer for my iPhone at my place I was waiting for him to come until he arrived but then we just meet outside of my house and I just talking to him while he was his car on drive seat with a one old man at the back seat he's car was still on at that time he asked me first if he could see my iphone7 and see if he would really gonna buy it he just turn it on my iPhone 7 while I am explaining to him the details about my iphone7 but then suddenly he was such in a hurry and already give to me the 300$ money payment that we agreed for buying my iPhone 7 when I look at the money that he gave me there's something wrong because I notice that it looks like not a real money so when I found out it was a fake money i go run back to them and I will about to talk to him and ask about this fake money that he was given to me but then suddenly he drive his car fast away from me then never get back on me so he just exactly stole my iphone7 to me by given me a fake 300$ bill money so I really hope that you could help me to solve this problem and to help me with this crime and I also wanted to ask if there's any possibly way that I could get back my iphone7 or to get a real cash money at least for my stolen iphone7 especially now that I badly need a money for my family

A person that identifies herself as "Carla Williams" posted a used Ford truck for sale in my area of CT. She said her Let Go chat wasn't working so I needed to communicate via her email ([protected]@gmail.com) to get more info and pics of the truck. I sent an email and when I asked to see it in person she claimed she was in NJ, getting ready to be deployed but assured me she had the truck all ready to go with title in hand and I could takes 5 days to decide if I wanted to keep it after she shipped it to me (at her expense of course). She said we would have to go through Ebay as the intermediary and they would hold the funds until I gave approval and kept the truck. She was going to ship it with the signed over title and transfer of ownership so I just needed to put the payment in escrow. It's a total scam! Don't fall for it. Ebay has nothing to do with it and when I said my cousin lived in NJ and would come look it at it for me that was suddenly impossible as the truck was already "sealed up" for shipping and she just needed an address to send it to. Total scam, don't fall for it!

The date of this incident was 4/17/2018 and I have purchased an Ipad Mini from a man and the apple id was disabled. I contacted apple support and they suspect a man has given me false information to get into the Ipad and he has blocked me from the app. Which now I have no contact information. I would either just like my money back or the correct information to get into the ipad. If you could please email me back at [protected]@gmail.com Thank you so much

I asked a seller vera gonzales if the dryer she was selling was gas or electric as her post did not specifiy.. And this was her response and then she blocked me.. So I coud not react to her star standing.

I am getting afraid to use letgo as it seems there is no recourse for profanity with your website and a buyer or seller should not have to deal with abuse.

I am a new user to your site. I recently posted a Tool Chest on 4-10-18 and didn't realize I had not set the area. After I posted the item I saw that I was posted in the wrong area. I then figured out how to change that and reposted to the correct area. Now my account say's "This account is under review by the letgo team". I'm not sure how to fix this, can you help?
